Abstract

An emergency button is a device that can give some warning to targeted devices. The warnings that given by someone are for warn someone that the user is in danger. Emergency button can reduce some mortality and damages caused by cardiovascular. This research are done because there are too much cardiovascular patients and death caused by cardiovascular. This device is for elder who easily in danger like falling. The methods that used are assemble the device, and implement it in daily use.

Abstract

Penerangan merupakan kebutuhan pokok di ruang. Sumber cahaya di ruang adalah lampu penerangan. Tujuan penerangan adalah untuk keamanan dan kenyamanan di ruang. Secara umum Lampu dinyalakan dan dipadamkan menggunakan saklar secara manual. Jika di ruang tidak ada penghuni, sebaiknya lampu dipadamkan sehingga tidak terjadi rugi daya dan umur lampu (life time) lebih lama. Supaya lampu padam dengan sendiri perlu dipasang sensor deteksi orang. Sensor tersebut adalah PIR. Sensor Passive Infrared Receiver (PIR) merupakan sebuah sensor yang biasa digunakan untuk mendeteksi keberadaan manusia[1]. Dengan pemasangan PIR terintegrasi dengan arduino, jika ada penghuni maka lampu menyala dan sebaliknya jika tidak ada penghuni maka lampu padam 3 menit setelah penghuni keluar dari ruang. Abstract

Dewasa ini, keburuhan masyarakat akan layanan internet meningkat, faktor ini disebabkan karena kegiatan kerja dirumah ataupun sekolah dirumah sehingga internet menjadi kebutuhan utama. Riset ini mengangkat tentang analisa kinerja jaringan Fiber To The Home sepanjang 1,32 km dari Sentra-Telepon-Otomat (STO) Slipi ke Jalan Tali Kota Bambu Selatan, Jakarta Barat menggunakan teknologi 10-Gigabit Passive Optical Network. Tujuan riset ini adalah mendapatkan desain jaringan fiber to the home kemudian simulasikan menggunakan peranti lunak Optisystem hingga didapatkan hasil performansi jaringan yang terbaik. Metode riset yang digunakan antara lain menghitung link power budget, rise time budget dan Bit Error Rate (BER). Hasil perhitungan menyatakan kelayakan jaringan link power budget berkisar antara -22,367 dBm hingga -22,485 dBm. Hasil simulasi Optisystem diperoleh nilai antara -16,191 dBm hingga -16,310 dBm dan hasil pengukuran di lapangan diperoleh nilai antara -14,55 dBm hingga -15,00 dBm. Hasil ini memenuhi standar kelayakan jaringan PT. Telkom sebesar ≥ -28 dBm. Pada rise time budget diperoleh nilai 49,60 ps sampai 49,67 ps pada tipe persinyalan Non-Return-to-Zero (NRZ), artinya hasil tersebut layak karena nilainya lebih kecil 70% dari nilai rise time perangkat saat periode bit Non-Return-to-Zero (NRZ). Untuk Bit Error Rate (BER) diperoleh nilai sebesar 3,11145 x 10-52, hasil ini memenuhi standar kelayakan jaringan yang telah ditetapkan sebesar 10-9. Kesimpulan riset ini menunjukkan bahwa jaringan Fiber to the Home (FTTH) ini layak untuk beroperasi.

Abstract

Antena mikrostrip memiliki banyak variasi bentuk patch peradiasi yang berbeda-beda, salah satunya adalah bentuk segitiga sama sisi. Antena jenis ini memiliki sifat pola radiasi directional. Riset ini akan melakukan perancangan sebuah antena mikrostrip berbentuk triangular array menggunakan teknik Defected Ground Structure. Software yang diperlukan untuk merancang antena ini adalah CST Studio. Parameter yang digunakan antara lain VSWR, return loss, bandwidth, gain, dan bentuk pola radiasi akan dianalisa dengan metode perbandingan antara hasil simulasi dengan hasil fabrikasi. Sehingga dapat dianalisa pengaruh teknik DGS terhadap mikrostrip berbentuk patch triangular array pada frekuensi 5.8 GHz ini dapat memperbaiki karakteristik pada antena. Dari hasil pengukuran yang telah dilakukan antara lain, berdasarkan hasil fabrikasi antena didapatkan return loss sebesar -26.448, VSWR 1.1, bandwidth 242 MHz dan gain 3.4 dB. Sedangkan hasil simulasi didapatkan nilai return loss sebesar -15.90, VSWR 1.381, bandwidth 335 MHz dan gain sebesar 5.593 dB. Dimana pada hasil keseluruhan antara simulasi dan fabrikasi dapat simpulkan bahwa antena mikrostrip patch triangular array dengan metode Defected Ground Structure masih dalam range spesifikasi antena yang baik.

Abstract

This mixed-method approach study is conducted to find out the positive relationship between students’ satisfaction and their LLS use in the context of ICT for ELL. Having wed out for the sake of validity and reliability, 46 sets of both SERVQUAL and SILL questionnaires were then administered to 83 students of telecommunication engineering at Akademi Telkom Jakarta. The result of the study was explained in inferential and descriptive as well as qualitative in nature. The statistical result confirmed the positive effect of online learning satisfaction on the use of LLS. The low correlation coefficient is detected between students’ satisfaction and the use of LLS (r =.235, p <.05); however, the regression model Y=74.3+0.20X is then eligible to estimate and generalize. Thus, by paying attention to SERVQUAL dimensions, the students will more explore their LLS use. The findings provide a greater understanding of students’ satisfaction and LLS use. LLS – CALL integration model could be developed as the implications of the research for further study. Keywords: ICT, Language Learning Strategies, Online Learning, Student Satisfaction, SERVQUAL

Abstract

Along with the developing and the increasing of data communication users, service providers are required to always improve the quality of their services. QoS plays an important role since it is a parameter of the quality level of a service. Pipe Tunneling technique is one of the Qos methods that will guarantee a service will have its own priority level. With the help of the MPLS-VPN protocol, addressing of the IP will be much more flexible. In this thesis the simulation was done using GNS3 software while the results of the analysis were carried out using the WireShark software. There are two scenarios done by the author. For MPLS-VPN the author simulates 2 customers between companies 1 and 2 where both companies have centers in Jakarta and branches in Surabaya. And for Tunneling, both companies want their services to be given the highest priority among other services. From this scenario it can be obtained that with the presence of VRF on the network if there is the same network usage there will be no overlaps of IP. A service will have its own priority level according to the needs and requests. The results of the analysis are more focused on QoS, especially delay and throughput. From the results it shows that MPLS-VPN with Tunneling Pipe Mode integration is able to keep good QoS value. This can be seen from the average of the delay and throughput yield for Tunneling Pipe Mode that is equal to 84,51 ms and 67,858 Bytes / s.

Abstract

Identifying motivational factors in every field is always important. Likewise, identifying the student’s motivation to learn English is important so that the teachers or the other relevant education stakeholders can take more specific action regarding their students’ motivation. Especially, since motivation is a driving force affecting human’s life, the attempt to analyze the factors affecting the students’ motivation is always important. The present study was conducted in a private telecommunication college. The research method employed was a survey research with additional limited interview. The number of the participants recruited for the study was 40 students. The students recruited were the active students who are currently studying in their fourth/fifth semester. Of the whole factors questioned to the students, the lecturers were found to be the most significant factors affecting the students’ motivation. The other factors affecting the students’ motivation were the teaching media, such as internet and library. The finding also confirms the previous studies suggesting the important role of teachers/lecturers in serving the students. The students also indicated that the role of lecturers in facilitating their learning process, which was getting more complicated during the pandemic, as the most important factor leading to better motivation. Lastly, in terms of relationship, parents were found to be important as they could possibly support the students’ spirit to learn English regardless of their learning context.
