Abstract

The partner in this community service program is “PRA Aisyiyah Tamantirto Selatan”. In addition to routine activities, namely the Sunday morning recitation which took place at the Khoirul Ummi Kasihan Mosque, several activities were also organized by the management of PRA Tamantirto including encouraging its members to actively play a role in improving family welfare in the economic field, namely becoming an entrepreneur. The problem faced by partners is that some members do not yet have the motivation to become entrepreneurs. Members who already have a business, their business management capabilities are still limited/less. Another problem that appears is that members' financial literacy is still relatively low. To overcome these problems, several trainings were held, namely entrepreneurial motivation training, food processing training, business management training and the provision of production equipment grants. The result of this program is that all activities run smoothly, participants are actively involved, and participants' motivation to become entrepreneurs increases  This is an open access article under the CC–BY-SA license.

Abstract

The purpose of community service in this KKN activity is to find out the effectiveness of the PHBS program that is recommended to the community to be applied in daily life in order to keep oneself healthy in the midst of the threat of COVID-19 transmission. The PHBS program is specifically designed to answer the needs of residents during this pandemic with the aim of increasing public understanding and changing the pattern of activities that people usually do during this pandemic. The community response related to the PHBS program is that this program can help implement PHBS very well with a percentage of 100%, this program provides a clear picture of the implementation of PHBS with a 100% response, and the PHBS program in its application to the community has received a response of 77.8% of the community stating "Yes", and 22.2% of the public said "No". This means that there are still people who need assistance in implementing the PHBS program.

Abstract

This present community service activity aims at giving an understanding of the use of Mendeley application comprehensively in a research article for the lecturers of the Faculty of Language and Literature at Nasional University. The method of implementing this activity was divided into three steps in workshops model: (1) practical guidelines and tips on how to write at national accredited journals, (2) introducing Mendeley, and (3) practice of Mendeley. The result of the community service activity indicates that this activity help the lecturers in the citation writing process in case of in writing bibliography. Mendeley makes writing bibliography more effective and efficient. In understanding the citation process, verification will be more accurate and easier for other researchers to trace research. From these result, it can be concluded that this activity needs an intensive socializations on the use of Mendeley as an application of citations. The lecturers get the positive impact of this activity. The positive feedback of the lecturers was shown interactively during the implementation activities. It can be seen through their testimonials.

Abstract

SME’s are one of the bases for supporting the economy of a country that deserves to be empowered. However, in its implementation it is not easy to require cooperation between various elements including the government, the community, and the role of universities. In this community service activity, the collaboration partner, the SME’s Tahu Bakso Berkah Wijaya, is located at jl. Batur sari, mranggen. Along the way, Wijaya's Bakso Blessings experienced various conventional marketing problems, because the owner was not familiar with technology as it is today. The purpose of this service is to teach MSME owners so that in marketing products, not only in the conventional way, but also by using this sata technology development by selling through social media. The method used in this case is in the form of sharing and providing training materials in the form of how to create an online store, how to sell on social media and how to become partners in existing start-up platforms. The results obtained from this service are the establishment of official social media accounts and packaging labels for MSME Tahu Bakso Berkah Wijaya which consists of FB, IG, and start-up partner accounts, namely Gojek and Grab. This also makes these SMEs more existent and easy to find for culinary lovers to know meatballs.

Abstract

Berbagai metode pengajaran yang bisa digunakan untuk menciptakan pembelajaran inovatif, kreatif dan menyenangkan yaitu dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran melalui game apalagi dalam hal mempelajari bahasa asing atau mata pelajaran bahasa inggris. Oleh sebab itu sebagai seorang tenaga pendidik akan terus memberikan yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat sekitar. Kewajiban setiap Perguruan Tinggi sebagaimana dijelaskan dalam Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi adalah melakukan Pendidikan, Penelitian, dan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat. Salah satu kewajiban tersebut ISB Atma Luhur melaksanakan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat, hal ini dilaksanakan berkaitan dengan kepedulian setiap lembaga atau institusi yang bergerak di bidang Pendidikan khususnya Pendidikan Tinggi dengan mengikuti perkembangan dan kemajuan teknologi khususnya Indonesia sebagai salah satu negara yang memiliki potensi sumber daya alam dan manusia yang banyak belum dapat disetarakan dengan negara-negara maju.

Abstract

Yoghurt is one of the health drinks that tastes fresh and sour and is liked by many people, adults and children. Yoghurt made by fermentation using Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus bacteria inoculated in milk will produce a semi-solid consistency of milk and a slightly sweet-sour taste and can eliminate the sharp odor of goat's milk. The PkM implementation stage is like a training activity, namely this activity there are also several events which are held for 3 days, namely on 24-26 July 2019. The target audience is housewives and community leaders in Bandar Khalipah Village, which includes 50 people consisting of various housewives located at Jalan Angsana No. 3 Market XI Tembung. This PkM method will be carried out through training on the benefits of yogurt for health through media presentations, demos followed by questions and answers. The training materials include: introduction, yogurt bacterial culture, benefits of yogurt and methods of making yogurt. While the way of making yogurt is done by practicing together between the demonstrators and the audience. The method of making yogurt consists of preparation, pasteurization, bacterial preparation, mixing bacteria with milk, storage and storage. The participants of this activity program were very enthusiastic about listening to materials and practices on how to make yogurt so that they could practice it themselves at home. In addition, they also see business opportunities to improve family welfare both financially and healthily. With a positive response from partners, finally this community service can be useful for housewives so that it can improve family welfare.

Abstract

This extension activity was conducted for PKK, Kel. Tegalhardjo, Kec. Jebres, Kota Surakarta. The outcomes of this activity are: cheap participants' knowledge of the concept of entrepreneurship so that they have the right knowledge; benefit participants' insights on how to start a business and choose the right type of business; benefit participants' insights about possible business failures and ways to enter and resolve business failures. This activity is carried out with the following stages: Selection of participants to the community service, namely the board and members of PKK; Submission of lecture materials, with a view to fostering an entrepreneurial spirit; Implementation of evaluation Evaluation is done by: before counseling conducted a question-answer to know each participant's initial knowledge about entrepreneurship special techniques or how to start a business. After the counseling finished the question and answer again about the same material. By comparing the results of answers that have been done, it will be known whether there is an increase in knowledge about the entrepreneurship and scope.

Abstract

Dewasa ini, majunya zaman ditandai dengan perubahan gaya hidup yang lebih modern dan konsumtif. Perilaku yang konsumtif mendorong keluarga untuk mencari pemasukan yang lebih banyak termasuk kedua orang tua bekerja semua. Hal tersebut mengorbankan banyak hal seperti waktu dengan keluarga dan mendidik anak secara langsung. Padahal, faktor yang berpengaruh besar dalam keberhasilan anak adalah didikan dari orang tua. Orang tua harus bisa mengasuh anak dengan baik karena pengasuhan yang positif akan berpengaruh besar saat anak menjadi orang dewasa kelak. Pengasuhan mencakup berbagai aktifitas yang bertujuan mengembangkan anak secara optimal dan dapat menjalani hidupnya kelak dengan baik. Dengan kesibukan yang dimiliki orang tua, perlu dilakukan terobosan supaya orang tua bisa mengasuh anak dengan maksimal, salah satunya adalah dengan penerapan super parenting. Penerapan Super parenting dilakukan dengan cara membangun komunikasi yang berkualitas dan lebih sering antara orang tua dengan anak. Namun, pengetahuan orang tua mengenai super parenting masih sangat minim. Maka dari itu perlu adanya edukasi mengenai super parenting kepada orang tua supaya orang tua dapat mendidik anaknya dengan baik. Edukasi yang dilaksanakan berbentuk sosialisasi dan diskusi dengan memaparkan materi mengenai super parenting. Dengan adanya edukasi ini, diharapkan para orang tua bisa mendidik anak dengan lebih baik

Abstract

Various problems related to the decline in the MSME economy during the current COVID-19 pandemic have had a significant impact on MSME actors. One of the MSMEs affected by the pandemic is an SME that makes cassava crackers in Tonggorisa Village, Palibelo District, Bima Regency, which has experienced a decline in income. Dozens of people get income from producing these crackers. To stabilize sales and people's income, we help by providing socialization and training involving Digital Marketing and product innovation. In the first stage, we disseminated the importance of doing business during the Covid-19 pandemic, aimed at the impacted community MSMEs must continue to run and be stable as before the pandemic. In the second stage, we introduce digital marketing to the public so that it can be used as a medium to market crackers to a wider market. It is hoped that with this socialization, the community can transform to digital business to get more income potential. In the last stage, we explain the importance of product innovation. We explain the importance of product innovation so that there is product diversification that can attract consumer interest so that they can survive in the midst of competition in the digital business. It is hoped that with this socialization, cassava crackers SMEs can increase their income and survive in the midst of a pandemic.

Abstract

Pemerintah desa mempunyai tugas utama untuk menciptakan kehidupan yang demokratis, mendorong pemberdayaan masyarakat serta memberikan pelayanan yang baik. Pemerintah desa saat ini memiliki kewenangan sendiri untuk mengurus dan mengelola pemerintahan. Selain itu, dengan adanya kebijakan desentralisasi fiscal, pemerintah desa perlu menciptakan akuntabilitas dan tranparansi dalam pembangunan desa. Pada dasarnya keberhasilan dari suatu pemerintahan terletak pada tata kelola pemerintahannya sendiri. Saat ini, pemerintah desa di dorong untuk dapat memanfatkan teknologi dan informasi agar mampu memberikan kemudahan pelayanan kepada masayrakat serta terciptanya akuntabilitas dan transparansi informasi dalam mendukung pembangunan. Salah satunya melalui sistem informasi desa (SID), melalui SID pemerintah desa dapat meberikan keterbukaan informasi dan mempunyai basis data. Pemanfaatan sistem informasi desa dapat dilakukan melalui pembuatan profil desa. Dimana dengan adanya profil desa mampu mengetahui potensi yang dimiliki oleh desa, menggambarkan kondisi desa, dan menjadi basis data dari desa itu sendiri. Desa Trimulyo, Jetis merupakan salah satu desa yang saat ini masih belum mampu mengoptimalkan sistem informasi desa melalui pembentukan profil desa. Hal ini diakrenakan sumber daya manusia yang terbatas dan juga kurangnya pengetahuan terhadap pemanfaatan sistem informasi desa.
