Abstract

Banana hearts are usually cut so as not to inhibit fruit growth and prevent disease in banana plants, so they are considered waste. Actually the banana heart can be processed into beef jerky or meatballs which are rich in fiber. Implementation of activities includes observation, preparation, implementation and evaluation. The results of the implementation of training in making banana heart meatballs can increase knowledge and skills of mothers who are members of the Jalapagos group, about the potential of banana plants, namely banana flowers, which can be a new source of income so that they can improve the welfare of the community in Buon Mandiri village, Banggai district, Central Sulawesi. Then the community really expects the training activities as it has been implemented to continue to be carried out.

Abstract

The Vertebrae Medical Assistance Team (TBM) of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Pattimura is a student organization that has many work programs, and one of their work programs is community service. Medical students will become doctors who will take part in society and who are not only required to be capable and competent in solving all health problems, but also must be able to become examples and role models in moving healthy life for the community. As part of the TBM, medical students are required to have basic medical assistance competencies, therefore, the purpose of this activity is to provide detailed knowledge of sterilization and disinfection techniques that have been neglected so far, starting with simple basic knowledge. In general, the implementation methods used in this community service are sterilization education, sterilization objectives, types of sterilization, and the practice of using autoclave sterilizers. This community service activity has achieved the main planned objectives, namely increasing the knowledge and understanding of participants through sterilization training for medical equipment and materials as part of the program to increase the competence of TBM members. There are three main components discussed in the understanding and skills of participants, namely understanding the definition and purpose of sterilization, understanding the types of sterilization, and being able to practice how to use autoclave sterilizers

Abstract

This extension activity was conducted for Karang Taruna Kel. Tawangmangu, Kec. Tawangmangu, Kab. Karanganyar. The outcomes of this activity are cheap participants' knowledge of the concept of entrepreneurship so that they have the right knowledge; benefit participants' insights on how to start a business and choose the right type of business; benefit participants' insights about possible business failures and ways to enter and resolve business failures. This activity is carried out with the following stages: Selection of participants to the community service, namely the board and members of Karang Taruna; Submission of lecture materials, with a view to fostering an entrepreneurial spirit; Implementation of evaluation Evaluation is done: before counseling conducted a question-answer to know each participant's initial knowledge about entrepreneurship special techniques or how to start a business. After the counselor finished the question and answer again about the same material. By comparing the results of answers that have been done, it will be known whether there is an increase in knowledge about entrepreneurship and scope.

Abstract

Culture is a characteristic of a multicultural society which is the wealth of a nation. Culture as a heritage that is rich in noble and traditional values must be preserved as a nation's pride in the previous society. One of the cultural ways that can be done is through experience through this KKN UNNES holding the 2022 Jetis Village Cultural Festival. This Cultural Festival requires every community to display the culture of various regions. The method used is deliberation between the UNNES Community Service Center, Karang Taruna, and related village officials for problems from the previous cultural celebration, determining the theme of the cultural celebration and sharing the theme and socializing the cultural celebration system. The result of this study is the implementation of the 2022 Jetis village cultural celebration which was attended by approximately 800 participants with cultural themes from the provinces of Sumatra, Papua, Sulawesi, Jakarta, Kalimantan, NTT, East Java, and Central Java.

Abstract

Stunting is a state of malnutrition associated with insufficient nutrition in children. Stunting can occur when the fetus is still in the womb and will appear when the child is two years old. This problem is a priority for the community and the government nationally because stunting can affect children's physical and cognitive development. Based on the stunting problem, our group carried out activities aimed at overcoming and preventing the occurrence of stunting status in the punggawan village, Surakarta. These activities included stunting socialization to posyandu cadres, make stunting education houses, provision of diarrhea corners, stunting prevention posts, and provision of additional food for toddlers at posyandu. In connection with the work program, it is hoped that the community and cadres more attention and care about stunting cases, and the Indonesia zero stunting program can success.

Abstract

Community service activities aimed at teachers in the Muhammadiyah 5 Porong Elementary School in the form of training and mentoring of English language materials are based on the need for the application of the use of English in the school environment, especially since English has become a local content lesson. This service activity is carried out for 6 months. In this activity, training and mentoring is(Permatasari, Ressa Dwi Citra; Taufiq, 2021) centered on three main materials, namely the use of English in the classroom, namely the use of English that can be inserted or included in the material taught by the teacher. The second material is English for activities outside the classroom, namely interaction activities between teachers and students outside of class hours and the third is English for daily communication, which can be practiced between teachers on various occasions within the school. The teachers are very enthusiastic about this activity, and it is hoped that there will be follow-up activities related to the material taught later. Furthermore, it is hoped that after this activity, teachers will be able and brave to teach in English, using it in school activities and in daily activities to support the use of English in schools.

Abstract

This Digital Public Education Event is a series of events from the ESQ Business School Sharia Investment Gallery External Division Work Program. The theme raised was "Yuk Beli Saham, Miliki Indonesia", containing knowledge sharing on investment and the Islamic capital market, technical deepening regarding how to start investing correctly and adequately during a pandemic and how to open an investment account with the support of PT. Indo Premier. Securities. This event was held in November in conjunction with Heroes' Day to raise public awareness to help the country deal with the economic recession. With this event, it is hoped that the spirit and soul of the heroes will become a driving force in helping the country deal with the pandemic's impact on all aspects of life. This event is held online through the Zoom application, presented directly by the presenter, which includes an introduction and initial steps in investing. The expected output is that the participants correctly understand the investment and the capital market. After the event, participants can start opening an investment account at the ESQ Business School Sharia Investment Gallery, which is then directed to follow further education so that they can carry out investment practices properly and correctly. The activity result measure with the survey was carried out, which was distributed via google form to assess the material's content and the presenters' quality. A total of 220 participants and 186 people who filled out respondents with average results were satisfied with the material presented. Suggestions based on this activity are the need for more intense assistance for participants in investing in shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange so that they can obtain optimal profits

Abstract

Group 149 of student Community Service Program from Sebelas Maret University find that there are many economic businesses in Gayamdompo. Almost all business actors, especially Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are familiar with digitalization, especially in terms of marketing. To explore the details of digital marketing, business actors attended a two-day workshop with Mas Pandam as the speaker who is also the owner of Miyago Naknan. He explained how to promote products through digital media. Another speaker is Disti Fani as a creative worker explaining tips on simple product photography using gadgets. With lecture methods, discussions, counseling, and simple photography practices for SME products, the implementation of the activity have very good participation and enthusiasm from participants. Participants who attend at the Gayamdompo Village office take turns actively practicing simple photography and discussing digital marketing. After carrying out a digital marketing workshop and training on simple photography of SME products, the participants who are SME owners are expected to benefit from being able to market and promote their products better, to be able to manage SMEs more optimally and independently.

Abstract

Revenue from Trasan BUMDes has not reached the target return, this is because the establishment of BUMDes coincides with the COVID-19 pandemic. One way to deal with the challenges and obstacles faced by BUMDes is to develop business continuity by applying creative economic entrepreneurial knowledge. PPMT team discussions with partners, we propose a method for BUMDes for development in marketing. The hope of the team after the training and mentoring of BUMDes is that the village can improve the economy and development so that the welfare of the community can increase. In writing, the output of the activity is in the form of a final report, publication of scientific articles, and publication of activities in the mass media (online offline), as well as video publications for marketing.

Abstract

Creativity is needed in social life, one of the goals is to build youth creativity. Training on making aromatherapy candles is one way to increase the creativity and innovation of young entrepreneurs that are worth selling. This training was carried out in Habaring Hurung Village, Bukit Batu District, with a guided demonstration method. The purpose of this training is so that youth youth groups in Habaring Hurung Village can understand the theory and practice of making aromatherapy candles, have the opportunity to develop more creative small industries, so that they can play an important role in the advancement of youth productivity and entrepreneurial spirit in Habaring Hurung Village. The results of this training activity showed that there was a significant increase in 80% of the overall activities. It can be said that the training activities for making aromatherapy candles were successfully carried out.
