Abstract

This article was written in order to construct physical education from the perspective of Ibn Sina. The type of writing in the article is qualitative research using library research with content analysis method as a data analysis tool. The description of the results from this article is that Ibn Sina classifies the curriculum in terms of physical aspects, character, and skills.

Abstract

In contextual learning, the teacher brings real world situations into the classroom and encourages students to make connections between the knowledge they have and its application in their lives as members of the family and society. With this accepts, learning outcomes re expected to be moremeaningful for students. The learning process take place more naturally in the form of students work and experience activities, rather than the transfer of knowledge from teacher to students. In contextual classes, the teacher’s task is only to achieve the goal. Teachers deal more with strategy than giving information. Meanwhile, collecting fara uses interview, observation and documentation methods. The results of this study can be concluded that the management of Contextual Learning in Islamic Religious Education Subjects is very effective children in Learning at SMP Negeri 24 Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the role of teachers as example with in development of the character studets and the factors that influence development of character students of State Junior High School (SMPN) 1 Sawit Seberang, Langkat. This study used the descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects were the headmaster, headmaster deputies, teachers, studeats, and chairman of the committee of SMPN 1 Sawit Seberang, Langkat. Techniques used to collect data were interview, observation, and documentation. The data analysis used interactive model of Miles & Huberman, following the steps of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawings. The results of the research show the following the role of teachers as example must be demonstrated through speech, attitude, and personality, like courtesy, discipline, responsibility, tolerance, honesty, and concern for students and others. The factors that support development of character students include their commitment to the school community, the curriculum standard content, headmaster leadership, and togetherness. The factors that inhibit the development of character students include the limited financial resources, lack of awareness of parents, and in different attitude of some teachers and students.

Abstract

The research of this study was to describe and critically analyze the application of the kibar method, the results, and the supporting and inhibiting factors in improving the reading and writing of the Qur'an among students at SMP Negeri 24 Medan. The research used is a qualitative case study in which the analysis technique is carried out by collecting observational data, interviews, documentation. The results of this study are that Islamic/Al-Qur'an religious teachers have implemented the fluttering method in increasing the reading and writing of the Qur'an in each class, and it has been very enthusiastically received by students. The results of the study show: (1) The process of applying the waving method is classical, namely learning the Qur'an together. The way the teacher gives examples of reading then students imitate; and private, namely listening one by one. (2) The application of the waving method in Al-Qur'an learning activities can improve students' ability to read the Qur'an. (3) The inhibiting factors in the application of the waving method include: teachers are not able to understand each child's learning characteristics, parents do not accompany learning at home, and children are not conducive and often change their feelings quickly. And the supporting factors for this waving method lie in the teacher's ability to read the book, the role of parents in accompanying children to learn to read the Koran in the family environment, children's abilities, and a conducive classroom atmosphere.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze planning, determine implementation and determine the evaluation of the Islamic Aqidah-based curriculum. To find out this problem, the author uses a qualitative approach method with a descriptive type. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. To analyze the data, the author uses qualitative descriptive analysis, namely processing data and describing situations according to the results of observations, interviews and documentation. The research results show that the curriculum concept is based on Islamic Aqidah, namely the integration of each subject with Islamic Aqidah. Learning is designed by creating curriculum guidelines, academic calendars, determining themes, learning schedules and daily activities. Implementation of learning uses the talqiyyan fikriyyan method. The aim of this Islamic Aqidah-based curriculum is not only to emphasize religion, but it is also hoped that students can master general knowledge without ignoring Islamic values. Meanwhile, the implementation of the Islamic Aqidah-based curriculum is carried out in three stages. The initial stage includes curriculum preparation/planning and learning planning, the second stage contains learning programs, implementation of learning in class, and learning methods. And the final stage includes control and evaluation. Factors that influence curriculum implementation are teachers, parents, students, the environment and the government.

Abstract

Difficulties in reading the Koran experienced by children with special needs have not received attention from teachers and parents. This is a condition of concern and is a concern for researchers to take actions that can change conditions. The parents of the children from the sidodadi village go to work every day in the morning and return home in the afternoon, their days are spent more in the fields than at home so time is rarely given to children to guide reading the Qur'an. Considering that the majority of residents of the sidodadi village only graduated from junior high and high school so there are still very few teachers or teaching staff there and the lack of teaching methods or strategies used to guide children to read the Qur'an so that children easily feel bored. Therefore, there are students who serve there to help and guide children in reading the Qur'an and to motivate children to have a high spirit in learning let alone learn to read the Qur'an under any conditions. The role of students who serve in the village of Sidodadi Village is to guide children in reading the Qur'an. Teaches how to pronounce the correct letter makhorijul and the science of recitation and the short length of reading the Qur'an. With the guidance of a teacher, children will become more focused in reading the Qur'an in accordance with the science of recitation. The importance of guiding children in reading the Qur'an at an early age because it can give attention to children's ability to read the Qur'an properly and correctly.

Abstract

One way for us to maintain the sanctity of the Qur’an is to memorize its words properly and correctly. The implementation of memorizing the Qur’an, especially in elementary schools/Madrasahs other than Islamic boarding schools, certainly requires preparation both mentally and physically. As has been implemented at the Tahfidz Al-Ihsan House, the ustadzah applies a special method for memorizing so that students can feel comfortable and not get bored of memorizing. This research aims to determine the application of the wahdah method at the Tahfidz Al-Ihsan House and the results after applying the wahdah method at the Tahfidz Al-Ihsan House. This research is field research using descriptive qualitative research, namely a series of data collection processes, combining and drawing conclusions about the data. Data collected through observation, documentation and interviews. The research results state that the application of the wahdah method used to improve the results of memorizing the Koran for students who have difficulty memorizing has shown results compared to before. The results of the research show that the wahdah method is a suitable method for memorizing at the Tahfidz Al-Ihsan House. Santri and ustadzah don’t really encounter any difficulties when using this method. Indeed, there are several difficulties encountered by ustadzah and students, such as sometimes not having enough time to complete memorization. However, this can be overcome by telling students to continue memorizing at home and deposit it again the next day before starting learning.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes are given to the results of student school assignments that are difficult to learn. The level of student learning outcomes can be influenced by many factors, including international factors (originating from within the students themselves) and external factors (originating from outside the students' self). Quality and relevant learning cannot happen by itself; it must be added. For those who are building meaning or understanding something, learning is a vital activity for them, so it is necessary to provide support for those who are building ideas. A good learning method is one that is intended to teach students. The education system recognizes students as learning subjects. Another term is "emphasized learning" or "activity-focused student." The more intellectually active students are, the learning experience of students will increase, and by involving themselves directly, students will appreciate the learning process being carried out more. In the end the success rate of student learning will increase.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) method in increasing student interest in learning at Nur Adia Private Junior High School Medan, especially for class VII, which consisted of 30 students. The type of research used is qualitative research. In this study, the researchers used the principal, tutor teachers and students as resource persons. Observations and interviews were conducted to obtain results about the Team Games Tournament method which aims to increase student interest in learning. This type of cooperative learning model TGT (Team Games Tournamnet) proves that with this method students' interest in learning increases rapidly, 1) students are more active in learning because the teacher promises rewards or awards, 2) students can learn more fun and entertained, 3) foster a sense of mutual respect and responsibility. With this method, it can encourage progress in the quality of education and increase student interest in learning in the world of education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Islamic Cultural History (SKI) learning method at MTs Darul Huda Marelan. The focus of this research is to: discuss the methods used by Islamic Cultural History teachers at MTs Darul Huda Marelan, whether the learning methods used are appropriate when the learning process takes place. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The collection of data used in this study is in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. In seeking the validity of the data, researchers triangulate sources, observations and method triangulation, and researchers also extend attendance. The subjects used were the Darul Huda Marelan Madrasah Principal, deputy Madrasah Principal, Islamic Cultural History Teacher, and class IX students. Based on the results of observations made by researchers at MTs Darul Huda Marelan school with one of the Islamic Cultural History (SKI) subject teachers, information was obtained that the learning methods used in learning were lecture, question and answer, and discussion methods. So that in such a learning method it still seems monotonous and boring for students. The solution given by the Islamic Cultural History teacher is that usually the cultural history teacher, before starting class learning, has first prepared the materials to be studied by photocopying or printing the material to be studied.
