Abstract

Distribution basically is the activity of delivering products from the hands of producers to the hands of consumers or customers in good condition, on time and in accordance with the wishes of the buyer. The distribution process can be done either directly or through a chain of distributors or intermediaries. In distribution activities, there must be distribution costs and distribution channels. Distribution costs and distribution channels must be managed properly in order to have a positive impact on sales. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of distribution costs and distribution channels on sales of PT. Pasha Jaya Medan. The population in this study amounted to 9 companies that bought PT. Pasha Jaya Medan. Each of these companies, taken 5 respondents so that the total sample amounted to 45 respondents. Samples were taken using a saturated sampling technique. (significant effect on the sales of PT. Pasha Jaya Medan, Distribution Channel (  no significant effect on the sales of PT. Pasha Jaya Medan, and Distribution Costs and Distribution Fees simultaneously affect the sales of PT. Pasha Jaya Medan.

Abstract

This study purposed to determine the Effect of Entrepreneurship Orientation and Market Orientation on the Competitive Advantage of Digital Printing MSME in Padang Bulan Medan. This type of research is associative with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 102 digital printing businesman using the slovin formula, so the number of samples in this study was 51 respondents. Analysis of the data used is the test of validity, reliability, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, partial and simultaneous hypothesis testing, and the coefficient of determination with the help of the IBM SPSS Statistics 25 program. The results show that partially there is a positive and significant influence of entrepreneurial orientation on competitive advantage and there is a positive and significant influence of market orientation on competitive advantage; while simultaneously there is a positive and significant influence of entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation on competitive advantage. The value of Adjusted R Square (R2) is 0.588 or 58.8%. This value shows Competitive Advantage can be explained by the Entrepreneurial Orientation and Market Orientation variables of 58.8%. The remaining 41.2% can be explained by other variables that were not studied in this study.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of hedonic shopping value and shopping lifestyle on the impulse buying of Albadar 6 gang community. This type of research is quantitative descriptive, which is a study that aims to explain an empirical phenomenon accompanied by statistical data, characteristics and relationships between variables using techniques. data collection using questionnaires and literature study. Data collection in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale. The sample in this study was the community of Gang Albadar 6, amounting to 78 respondents using the Slovin formula. The method used in data collection is purposive sampling. The analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 25 program. The results of this study indicate that the two independent variables, namely hedonic shopping value and shopping lifestyle, affect impulse buying. The value of R Square equation of 0.595 means that the impulsive buying variable (dependent) which can be explained by the hedonic shopping value and shopping lifestyle (independent) variables in this study is 59.5% while 40.5% is influenced by other variables not explained by the this study.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of self-confidence and the courage to take risks on entrepreneurial intentions in the SEKIP Village Community, Medan Petisah District. This type of research is quantitative associative. The method of data collection in this study was done by distributing questionnaires. The sampling technique used in this study used convenience sampling/accidental sampling with a sample of 100 people. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was a positive influence of self-confidence and the courage to take risks on entrepreneurial intentions in the SEKIP Village Community, Medan Petisah District.

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether Product Innovation has a significant effect on the intention to buy vivo cellphone products at the Pancur Batu anita cellphone shop, and to find out whether the price has a significant effect on the purchase intention of vivo cellphone products at the Pancur Batu cellphone anita store. The population in this research is the consumer of anita handphone shop. The sample in this study was 71 respondents using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study can be seen that Product Innovation (X1) has a significant positive effect on the purchase intention of vivo cellphone products at the Pancur Batu anita cellphone shop, Price (X2) has a significant positive effect on the purchase intention of vivo cellphone products at the Pancur Batu cellphone anita store.

Abstract

This study aims to determine "The Effect of Creativity and Product Innovation on Business Success in Coconut Shell Waste Craftsmen in the Bukit Lawang Plantation Village, Bahorok District, Langkat Regency". This type of research is associative with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 30 coconut shell craftsmen using the saturation point formula technique, because the population was less than 100 people, the number of samples in this study was taken absolutely from a population of 30 respondents. Based on the T test and F test, it can be concluded that the creativity and product innovation variables partially have a positive and significant effect on the success of the Coconut Shell Waste Craftsmen in the Bukit Lawang Plantation Village, indicating Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Coefficient of Determination (R2) = 0.343 or 34.3%. 65.7% was influenced by other factors not described in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine "The Influence of Punishment and Rewards on Employee Performance at PT. Gelatik Supra Medan Branch Office”. The type of data in this study is associative, which is a research that is asking the relationship between two variables. The population in this study were 40 contract employees. Data collection techniques in the form of distributing questionnaires to employees. The sample used in this study were contract employees of the operational and supporting divisions of PT. Gelatik Supra Medan Branch Office. Data processing was carried out using the SPSS version 21 application, with descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing of multiple linear analysis. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the punishment variable partially affects the performance of the employees of PT. Gelatik Supra Medan. (2) partially reward variables affect the performance of employees of PT. Gelatik Supra Medan. (3) Simultaneously punishment and reward have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT. Gelatik Supra Medan.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to see and analyze the influence of service quality, product quality, price, promotion. The research method used is associative research, where variables are measured by a Likert scale. The test method is done by a list of questions (questionnaire) and observation (observation). The population of this research is all consumers of Medan Baru Subdistrict, Merdeka Village, which can be 100 people. Withdrawal of samples using the Slovin method or what is known as the Slovin formula. In this study, the sample size was 50 people. Data processing or analysis using SPSS software version 21, with descriptive analysis and testing multiple regression analysis. The results showed that : (1) Partially the variable of customer satisfaction service quality in Medan Baru District. (2) Partially the product quality variable affects customer satisfaction in Medan Baru District. (3) Partially the price variable affects customer satisfaction in Medan Baru District. (4) Partially the promotion variable affects customer satisfaction in Medan Baru District. (5) Simultaneously there is a positive and significant influence between the variables of service quality, product quality, price, promotion affecting customer satisfaction in Medan Baru District.

Abstract

Handicrafts in Indonesia still have many shortcomings, one of which is not durable, that's why the researchers made ABERASI, resin-based accessories that are more durable and can make accessories look more beautiful. This study aims to see whether ABERASI is a viable business to run by considering sales, Return On Assets (ROA), Return On Investment (ROI), and Payback Period (PP). The research methods used are qualitative methods and sampling techniques. (informants) namely snowbal sampling and data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews. And documentation. The results show that ABERASI sales are 152 units per month, ROA is 58% greater than the industry standard, which is 5.98% which means it is feasible to run, ROI is 153% greater than the industry standard is 30% which means it is feasible to run, and PP is 6 month is greater than 1 year (economic age) which also means it is feasible. So it can be concluded that the ABERASI business is feasible to run.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of ease and trust in using e-commerce onpurchasing decisions for online employees of the Binjai District Attorney's Office. The type of research used is quantitative research, where the variables are measured using the Likert scale method. Data collection in this study was carried out by means of a list of questions (questionnaires), interviews (interviews), and direct observation. Sampling was done by totalmethod sampling, where the entire population was used as a sample of 45 people. Datacarried out using the SPSS (processing wasstatistical program for social scienceapplication) version 21.0. The hypothesis testing technique in this study uses multiple linear regression. Previously, the validity test, reliability test, and classical assumption test were conducted first. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Partially, the variable ease of using e-commerce has an effect onpurchasing decisions for online employees of the Binjai District Attorney's Office. (2) Partially, the trust variable using e-commerce has an effect onpurchasing decisions for online employees of the Binjai District Attorney's Office. (3) Simultaneously there is a positive and significant influence between the variables of convenience and trust in using e-commerce onpurchasing decisions for online Binjai State Attorney's employees.
