Abstract

The existence of Islamic Philanthropic Institutions in Indonesia is now increasingly recognized by the public, not a few people who distribute donations and zakat, infaq, sodqqo and waqf (ZISWAF) through these institutions. With the development of the times, the marketing communication strategy of Islamic philanthropic institutions in Indonesia cannot be separated from the role of digital media. This study intends to identify and describe the role of digital media in the implementation of marketing communication strategies at Islamic Philanthropic Institutions in Indonesia. Based on the research results, DIMC or Digital Integrated Marketing Communication activities which consist of digital advertising, digital sales promotion, digital personal selling, digital direct marketing, and digital public relations are carried out by utilizing digital media in the form of websites, e-mails mobile applications, and social media such as Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and YouTube.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of Social Engagement in URC as a form of marketing communication in MSMEs in Padang Panjang City. To describe this research, it uses the Social Engagement theory by Bassuk, Grass and Berkman. In this theory, there are three components in Social Engagement, namely, social networks, social activities and social media. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. And using purposive sampling technique by determining certain criteria informants that support the research objectives. Informants who meet these criteria are the chairman and active members of the URC community as people who implement Social Engagement in their activities, and MSME activists who take part in URC activities. URC chooses Instagram and Facebook social media in carrying out its goals, because they are considered social media that are often used among people in various circles. The results of this study indicate that the application of Social Engagement that has been implemented is quite good and balanced. However, the obstacle found is that there are still many activists or MSMEs managed by people who are not competent and flexible in using social media. This is due to the age factor, not from the MSME activists themselves who refuse promotions through digital marketing. Of course, this is an inhibiting factor in URC carrying out its objectives.

Abstract

With the development of digital technology, people can easily access various types of information. The information on various social media platforms is certainly packaged with a creative process. To package this information, an agency needs a team known as content creators. The object of this study is the video Obrolan Bisnis dan Kewirausahaan (OBKAN) produced by the Main Potential content creator team. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. These methods and approaches are quite relevant in describing the stages of creative strategies used by the Main Potential content creator team. The results showed that the creative strategies used consisted of determining themes and ideas, target audiences, script language and event formats, and the use of gimmicks. In addition, it also refers to production operational standards consisting of pre-production, production, and post-production. This research is considered important to do because in today's digital world, many creative people are born who create various types of content. When producing content, of course, it has a series of creative stages.

Abstract

In presenting information, Kominfo chose social media in disseminating information, one of which was through the official Kominfo Youtube channel called Padang Panjang TV. In its strategy, the Ministry of Communication and Informatics chose Youtube as the medium in providing information because of the Podcast program which is currently a trend among young people. Therefore, this research was conducted to find out how the Communication Strategy of Communication and Informatics in the Podcast Program on Youtube Media in conveying information and its obstacles. This research is a qualitative research using descriptive method, the researcher uses this method because the researcher explores a particular case in greater depth regarding the communication strategy of Kominfo on youtube media in conveying information. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The main informant in this study is the head of the section for managing information and public communication, someone who is responsible for disseminating information on YouTube media and the supporting informants are the people who are the target recipients of information. In this study, the researcher uses media wealth theory because media wealth theory has four criteria, namely the ability of the media to use multiple media, the speed of feedback, the variety of languages used, and the personal focus of the media. Therefore, from the theory of media wealth, we want to see the communication strategies used in conveying information.

Abstract

Cyber Public Relations is a public relations endeavor that uses the internet as a medium for publication in order to improve reputation on a national and international level. As a result of intense competition in the digital world, universities must continue to compete in providing information to the public. In this context, UM Buton's online public relations efforts are the most crucial. This research was conducted using a qualitative, descriptive research method. For the purpose of identifying, analyzing, and evaluating the University of Muhammadiyah Buton's cyber public relations operations to date, this study seeks to do research in this area. On the official website of the University of Muhammadiyah Buton, cyber public relations activities include press releases, collaborations, online journals, siakad, films, and information providers. In addition, another supporting factor is the use of social media. Since the power of social media in gathering opinions in cyberspace has begun to be recognized by many parties, it is not surprising that an institutional brand can be both well-imaged and ruined through opinion-raising via social media. By boosting UM Buton's public relations cyber efforts, this institution is able to compete on the internet. Researchers hope that this study will serve as a review and feedback so that the University of Muhammadiyah Buton can improve its cyber public relations operations so that it can compete on a national and international scale.

Abstract

The spread of the corona virus pandemic or Covid-19 has presented its own challenges for educational institutions in Indonesia, one of which is SMKN 1 West Sumatra, which is one of the vocational education institutions in the city of Padang. In the online learning process, many students' grades do not understand the material taught by the teacher and there is a problem with declining grades in students. When students are in a condition of not having the motivation to learn, this is where the role of the teacher is to motivate students, one of which is persuasive communication techniques. The purpose of this study was to proportionally reveal the influence of teacher persuasive communication on student motivation at SMKN 1 West Sumatra during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research uses quantitative research. The sampling technique is a simple random sampling technique. The sample of this research is class X students of SMKN 1 West Sumatra, totaling 84 students. Simple linear regression analysis was used to test the hypothesis with the SPSS 24 program. The results of this study indicate that the teacher's Persuasive Communication variable is in the Good Enough category. The results indicate that there is an influence between teacher persuasive communication and student learning motivation during the Covid-19 pandemic. Learning activities in the teacher's classroom tend to use persuasive communication, to direct student behavior in the teacher's classroom applying a democratic and permissive discipline model. The teacher does not give heavy sanctions, but is more dominant in directions and advice that moves students' motivation to do better.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between parental interpersonal communication on student achievement data in class VIII.6 SMPN 9 Padang. Communicating is a very important part in all aspects of human life, this can be seen from every event that is always related to communication. Communication that occurs between parents and children can be classified as interpersonal communication. Interpersonal communication is communication that occurs between people directly without intermediaries. Motivation is a driving force and a driving force in order to achieve maximum results in activities carried out by individuals. This type of research is applied research. The method used in this research is a survey method with a quantitative approach. This study uses a questionnaire as a research instrument. The instrument is a sheet of paper that contains several questions with a standard structure. The population of this study were students of class VIII.6 totaling 32 students, so the sample used in this study was 30 students. To determine the sample in this study using the Slovin formula. Based on this study, the results obtained from the influence of parental interpersonal relationships on student achievement data that there is a relationship between parents' interpersonal communication on interpersonal communication. This can be seen from the correlation of parental interpersonal communication to children's interpersonal communication of 0.223. And it can also be seen from the correlation of parental interpersonal communication to children's learning motivation of 0.230 with a significance value of 0.222.

Abstract

The communication strategy carried out by the Bukittinggi City Health Office in improving the level of public health in Bukittinggi City is carried out in the form of health counselling with the aim of issuing a Household Industry Food Certificate (PIRT). To describe this research using the theory of behaviorism, wherein in this theory of behaviorism, learning is a change in behaviorism as a result of the interaction between stimulus and response, This study used qualitative methods to describe communication strategies through health counselling, while data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. and using purposive sampling techniques by determining informants of certain criteria that support the objectives of the study. The informants who are in accordance with these criteria are Kasi and SDK staff of the Bukittinggi City Health Office because they are the persons responsible for the planning and implementation of PIRT activities in the work area of the Bukittinggi City Health Office and the people of Bukittinggi City who participated in the Food Safety Counselling (PKP) to obtain PIRT certificates. The results of this study show the application of communication strategy measures carried out by the Bukittinggi City Health Office through the issuance of Household Industry Food certificates (PIRT), namely: selecting audiences and setting communicators; setting target targets; compiling messages; and carrying out evaluation activities. However, after conducting a SWOT analysis, there were shortcomings encountered, namely that the Bukittinggi City Health Office did not use media in disseminating information and the lack of health workers in the SDK section of the Bukittinggi City Health Office

Abstract

This research is motivated by advances in communication technology that provide many good benefits in life. In addition to the good benefits, technological advances also have a negative effect on the social environment. The impact of social media makes a person to be indifferent to the people around him, indifferent, inattentive which can change interpersonal communication in the family scope. Changes in interpersonal communication are a life phenomenon experienced by everyone anytime and anywhere, one of which is in the family environment. In this study, the researcher used a qualitative approach with the type of field research. Collecting data through observation, documentation and interviews, and then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The findings showed that the family's interpersonal communication situation did not go well due to a lack of self-disclosure to their family and lack of empathy, this also resulted in a change in their interpersonal communication behavior. From this study it can be concluded that changes in family interpersonal communication behavior due to the use of online social media have occurred in families in Pulau Binjai Village, Kuantan Mudik District, Kuantan Singingi Regency.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is the inflience of Tik Tok social media on communication style at SDN 18 Kinali, Tiktok is an audio-visual media contains photos and videos that spread creativity and uniqueness of each user. Moreover, Tiktok always provides unique and interesting special effects that can be used by every user. This social media can make users feel happy because the videos they make can be accompanied by a variety of trending and contemporary music. In using Tik Tok it self, many students use it not only once or twice a day. As of the purpose of the problem in this study is how the effect of outside world such as tiktok in building children’s character on their communication style to older people and also to the environment. This study is a quantitative research in the form of survey methods, the data collection is carried out by distributing some questionnaires to 167 students in which the filling of the questionnaires will be accompanied by their parents. The result of this survey indicates that there is a very significant positive effect from Tiktok on communication style. This is in accordance with the researcher calculation by using Microsoft Excel 2010, make use of correlation test which obtained a value of t(count) > t(table) that is 7.091 > 1.656, means that the more social media available, the more communication style will increase.
