Abstract

This study aims to develop assessment instruments based on higher order thinking skills aided by Kahoot! on the basic competencies of applying the handling of incoming and outgoing letters, analyzing the appropriateness of assessment instruments based on the higher order thinking skills developed, analyzing students 'high-level thinking skills, analyzing students' responses to the use of the Kahoot! application, and knowing the strengths and weaknesses of the Kahoot! application. This study uses Sugiyono's development model with 7 steps of development.. The research subjects consisted of 73 class X students majoring in OTKP SMK Negeri 2 Buduran. The assessment instruments developed were in the form of 20 multiple choice questions. Based on the results of the study, the validity of the assessment instruments was more than 0.227 and the reliability was 0.714. The assessment instruments have also fulfilled the test of the difficulty level of the questions, the differentiation of the questions, and the question deception. The average high-level thinking ability of students is in the "good" category and students give a "very positive" response to the use of Kahoot! by 96%. Kahoot's strength! among others, have an interesting appearance and background music, and there are variations in the form of quizzes. As for Kahoot's shortcomings! among others, the choice of answers consists only of 4 options and there are limited characters in filling in the questions and answers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the development of quiz team-based board and mystery learning media (PAKARMIS) on correspondence subjects at Vocational School Adhikawacana Surabaya, the feasibility of board and card learning media mystery (PAKARMIS) based on quiz teams on correspondence subjects at SMK Adhikawacana Surabaya, and students' responses to the quiz team-based board and mystery learning media (PAKARMIS) on correspondence subjects at SMK Adhikawacana Surabaya. This type of research is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The trial subjects were 20th grade OTKP 3 students of Vocational School Adhikawacana Surabaya, totaling 20 people chosen randomly. Data collection instruments used in this study were expert validation sheets and student questionnaire responses. The results showed that the media developed were included in the feasible category by obtaining a percentage of ratings from material experts at 89% and media experts at 88%, all of which were included in very strong interpretations. While the results of student responses to the learning media developed obtained a percentage of 87% with a very strong interpretation. The results of the trial show that students are more interested in conducting learning activities using quiz team-based board and mystery learning cards (PAKARMIS) compared to using only blackboards and markers. Students are more active and enthusiastic in learning to use these learning media. So it can be concluded the results of this development research are said to be very feasible to be used as learning media.

Abstract

AbstrakVery rapid technological developments in this current era of globalization provide so many benefits in many social aspects. The use of the technology is used by the humans to facilitate every humans job. The development of technology does not only help humans in the industrial field, but also in education. This is done so that future generations are not left behind and can help to build a nation's progress. The purpose from thid study was to analyze the use of moodle e-learning media to support student learning at the Faculty of Management and Business at Ciputra University. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study conducted at the Faculty of Management and Business at Ciputra University. Data collection techniques are done by conducting interviews and documentation. While the data analysis techniques go through several steps, namely: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results show that: 1) moodle e-learning media is considered interactive because it has features that make interaction between students and lecturers more enjoyable, especially as mentioned earlier that with the help of an application called 'zoom' then activities such as video conferencing can done anywhere, and not only that they can also make presentations or do quizzes, exams, and other activities that are usually done in class; 2) the use of moodle e-learning media is indeed very easy, mainly used as a learning medium as a helper or substitute for learning activities in class, in the sense that activities in the classroom can still be done even if the lecturer or student are not in the same area, but still, the lecturer able to provide material and students can also continue to receive material from lecturers even though they are outside the classroom.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the application of an electronic archive and archival management system (SIMASKEREN) in the Blitar City Regional Library and Archive Service, and to determine the effectiveness of the electronic archive and archival management system (SIMASKEREN) on the rediscovery of archives in the Blitar City Regional Library and Archives Service. The type of research used is descriptive research using a qualitative approach. The subjects of the research were employees at the Blitar City Regional Library and Archives Service who had worked for more than three years. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation, while data analysis techniques include data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. From the results of the accuracy calculation done by researchers at the Blitar City Library and Archives Service, the Accuracy Number (AK) results are 0.4% where AK is recommended ranging from 0.5% to 3%, from these results it can be concluded that the SIMASKEREN in the office has not been effective against the rediscovery of archives in the Blitar City Library and Archives Service.Keywords: Rediscovery of Archives Service; Simaskeren; Qualitative Approach

Abstract

Office activities today have experienced significant changes. This is caused by the rapid development of technology. Almost all office work and administration are also assisted by existing technology, office work can be done effectively and efficiently. One of the biggest effects of technological advancements in the field of archives at present is the management of electronic records. This study aims to analysis the management of archive applications based on the Letter Application in the Department of Library and Archives of East Java Province. This research is a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Research subjects were two employees in the dynamic records management section. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique is data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on research conducted in the field states that the use of the Mail Application is only used as a place to enter data or collect data on incoming and outgoing mail, the application can only be operated with the help of internet access, there are only two employees managing dynamic archives and in managing dynamic archives, namely incoming and outgoing letters are still assisted by disposition sheets and control cards. It can be concluded that the results of this study are the need for application evaluation to develop an electronic records management system that suits the needs of the East Java Province Library and Archives Office so that dynamic archive management will become easier and faster.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the effectiveness of learning media based educational game quizizz on student outcomes office technology grade X SMK Ketintang Surabaya. This type of research is using quasi experimental design. The circuit was conducted on all class X OTKP 2 students as a control class and X OTKP 3 as an experimental class. Analytical techniques use homogeneity test, normality test, hypothesis test and gain score test. The results of the study expressed the Posttest value obtained by t-test of 2.154 with a signification of 0.036 and a value of 2.002 with a level of significance 0.005 which means signification (0.036) < 0.05 and t-test (2.154) > ttable (2.002).The result of Gain Score the Pretest and Posttest value is 3,212 with a signication 0,002 and the value ttable is 2,002 with signification 0,05.  So it can be concluded that the use of learning media based on Quizizz educational Game effectively improve student learning outcomes on the subject of office technology class X OTKP in SMK Ketintang Surabaya.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a valid and reliable HOTS-based assessment instrument, and describe the quality of the HOTS test questions to measure high-level thinking skills in high school class XI students. problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revisions, product trials, product revisions, trial usage, product revisions, and mass products. The results showed that the HOTS-based assessment instrument in the form of HOTS test questions consisting of 20 multiple choice questions and 5 item description items from the aspects of material, evaluation, and language were declared valid and feasible to use. Multiple choice questions have an average level of difficulty with moderate criteria, the average differentiation of questions has a very good average, the validity of the items declared valid is as many as 20 multiple choice questions, the reliability coefficient is 0.820 with very high categories, and not all the trickster is functioning properly.

Abstract

Researchers have a goal in research that is to determine the application of the two stay two stray learning model on student learning outcomes in general administration subjects at SMK Ketintang Surabaya and to determine the effect of the two stay two stray learning model on student learning outcomes in general administration subjects in SMK Ketintang Surabaya. This study uses an experimental research type with an experimental design quaisi in the form of nonequivalent group pretest posttest design. The population in this study used class X OTKP 1, OTKP 2, and OTKP 3 with a total number of 95 students and the sample used was class X OTKP 2 with a total of 30 students as a control class and class X OTKP 3 with a total of 30 students as an experimental class. This study uses data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses validity test, reliability test, difficulty level test, differentiation test, homogeneity test, normality test, t test and gaincore. The results of this study showed the average pretest score in the control class was 55, while the experimental class was 58.12. Then the average posttest in the control class was 70.33, while the experimental class was 83.17. Based on the of the t-test result about the posttest score that has been done by researchers that counted 5.693 with a significance level of 0.000. While the ttable can be searched using the ttable distribution with a confidence level of 95% (α = 5%, because the t test is two-sided) with a degree of df 58, so it is known that the ttable is 2.001. Then it can be concluded that tcount (5,693)> ttable (2,001). So it can be concluded that Ha is accepted or there is an influence of two-stay-two-stray learning model on student learning outcomes in general administration subjects at SMK Ketintang Surabaya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of snowball throwing cooperative learning models on student learning outcomes in class X OTKP on the basic competence of implementing communication at work in SMK Ketintang Surabaya. This type of experimental research uses a quasi experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample is students of class X OTKP2 and X OTKP3, each consisting of 30 students. Data collection techniques with documentation, interviews, tests, and observations. The research instrument uses the cognitive realm. Data analysis used normality test, homogeneity test, t-test and gain score. The results of this study indicate the results of the t test obtained the value of tcount> ttable (6.579> 2.001) and the difference (gain score) of the pre-test and post-test values obtained that tcount> ttable (7.101> 2.001) so that the average difference from the pre-value test and post-test experimental class 0.62 is greater than the value of the pre-test and post-test control class of 0.33. It can be concluded that the cooperative learning model of snowball throwing type affects the learning outcomes of Grade X OTKP students at SMK Ketintang.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of the model cooperative type scramble on student learning outcomes the subject matter of facilities and infrastructure of class XI OTKP in SMK Negeri 2 Tuba. This type of research is a Quasi Eksperimental Design. The samples in this research used two calsses including XI OTKP 1 as an eksperiment of 34 students and XI OTKP 4 as a control of 34 students. Data analysis techniques used Homogeneity Test, Normality Test, and TTest (Hypothesis) and Gain Score Test with SPSS 22. The result of this study indicate that the completeness of student learning outcomes in the experiment class was declsred completed 97%, while in the control class was declared complete by 76,4%. The hypothesis test using the t test showed in the sig (2-tailed) table of 0,000 < 0,05 and tcount is 6,365 > ttable is 1,997%. Then Ha is accepted and H0 rejected, so it can be said that the learning model cooperative type scramble has a significant effect on improving student learning outcomes in class XI OTKP in SMK Negeri 2 Tuban.
