Abstract

The development of digital interactive media assisted with adobe flash research is done to describe the result of the development of that media, its appropriateness which is observed based on the subject expert validator, graphics, language, and the responses of the students toward the media. This research is applied on the understanding basic competence of the office communication and applying communication using phone in Indonesia language as learning media for the students of tenth grade of OTKP 1 in YPM 3 Taman Vocational high school on correspondence subject. This thesis uses developments research (R&D) with the 4-D development model which is about 4 steps of research, they are Defining, arranging, developing, and spreading process. However, the subjects of this research are 20 students of tenth graders in YPM 3 Taman vocational high school. The result of this research shows that interactive digital media is absolutely suitable for teaching. It is 97% for material validation feasibility (very good), 97% for graphic feasibility (very good), 98% for language feasibility (excellent). The average of the result is 97,3%, which means excellent. While the result of the students response is 98,8%, which means excellently interpreted. Based on the result, it is concluded that the interactive digital media, assisted with adobe flash, on the correspondence subject is suitable and good for being applied as both a media and learning source for the students in teaching-learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the feasibility of Student Activity Sheets (LKPD), describe the process of developing LKPD, and we can find out the responses of students in the Office Management Automation expertise program developed by LKPD. R&D with the 4D development model is the method used in research. And the limitations of this research are only at the development stage. A total of 20 students of class XI OTKP 3 SMK YPM 3 Taman became the subject of his research. The LKPD validation sheet includes the validation sheet for linguists, graphic experts, and material experts as well as students' response sheets obtained using research instruments. The stages of defining, designing, and developing are the research processes carried out at the stages that are in accordance with the 4D development model. Because the purpose of the research is only to develop and produce Student Activity Sheet (LKPD) products, the distribution phase is not carried out. The average results of the overall validation of experts on the feasibility of LKPD was 78.59% which included a component of language worthiness with a score of 72.86%, graphic worth 81.3%, and material eligibility 81.6%. By obtaining a score of 91.83% in the analysis of student responses with very good criteria, the developed LKPD can be used to support the learning process of PR and Protocol subjects very well as teaching material.

Abstract

The purpose of this study, 1) to determine the effect of school facilities and infrastructure on student learning outcomes in class XII OTKP in SMK Ketintang Surabaya, 2) to determine the effect of learning motivation on student learning outcomes in class XII OTKP in SMK Ketintang Surabaya, 3) to determine the effect of infrastructure and learning motivation on student learning outcomes in class XII OTKP in SMK Ketintang Surabaya. This research uses quantitative research with descriptive methods. The population in this study amounted to 159 students of class XII OTKP at SMK Ketintang Surabaya. Based on data analysis techniques found there is a significant influence of infrastructure on learning outcomes. This can be seen from the results of the t test at X1 significant value of 0.017 <0.05 which means the hypothesis is accepted. The results of this study indicate that it has a significant effect on learning outcomes. This can be seen from the results of the T test at X2 significant value of 0.047 <0.05 so that the hypothesis is accepted. Thus the presence of learning motivation in a person is very much needed to improve student learning outcomes. There is an influence of infrastructure and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of class XII students majoring in OTKP at SMK Ketintang Surabaya, which is positive at 61.40%. While the remaining 38.6% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the problem based learning model of learning in Public Relations and Protocol on learning outcomes and critical thinking skills of class XI OTKP students at SMK Ketintang Surabaya. This type of experimental research uses a quasi experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. Data analysis used normality test, homogeneity test, t-test and gain score. T test results based on the value of student learning outcomes indicate the value of tcount> ttable (2.898>2.005) and the results of t-test based on the value of students' critical thinking skills. Show the value of tcount>ttable (10,554> 2,005). Then the difference (gain score) pre-test and post-test values obtained that tcount> ttable (4.643>2.005). With the difference (gain score) the average value of the pre-test and post-test experimental class 18.036 is greater than the pre-test value of the control class of 10.536. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of problem based learning model of learning on the subject of automation in Public Relations and Protocol management on learning outcomes and critical thinking skills of students in class XI OTKP SMK Ketintang Surabaya.

Abstract

This development research resulted in a Card Game Learning Media Based on Make A Match in Automation and Governance Subject Class XI OTKP 1 Even Semester Academic Year 2018/2019. The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) the process of developing a media card learning game based on Make a Match; 2) the feasibility of a card game learning media based on Make a Match; 3) SMKN 1 Jombang students' responses to the media learning of card games based on Make a Match developed. This development refers to the 4D development model of Thiagarajan which has 4 stages namely define, design develop, and disseminate. Disseminate stage (dissemination) was not carried out because the research results were limited only to class XI OTKP 1 and focused on the material Functional Position and Structural Position in Competence Applying the Basic Rank of Departure (DUK) Employee Subjects in Automation and Staffing Governance. The instruments used in data collection and data analysis techniques used include media expert validation sheets and material expert validation sheets. In addition, data was also obtained from student response questionnaire sheets. This research was tested on 20 students of class XI OTKP 1 at SMKN 1 Jombang. The results of the study stated that the results of the validation of the learning media as a whole gained a score of 77.35% with a strong interpretation. Media expert validation was 75.2% and material expert validation was 79.5%. The results of student responses obtained a score of 80.2% with a strong interpretation. So it can be concluded that the learning media for card games based on Make a Match in the subject of Automation and Personnel Management in SMKN 1 Jombang is suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Every agency or organization definitely needs a positive image or good among the public. A good image is a need of an agency or organization, so this is one of the tasks carried out by public relations through the programs carried out. Because the success gained by an agency is inseparable from public relations who are able to run its role well. For the sake of creating a positive image, public relations must be able to carry out its role properly, because BPSDM is an agency tasked with educating the state civil apparatus before carrying out duties according to his position. So here public relations must be able to create, build, improve and maintain the image of the organization among the public. Public relations has the obligation to develop a harmonious relationship with the public because this is a public relations activity to build a good relationship to create a good image. The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of public relations in enhancing a positive image in the government agency BPSDM East Java Province. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. The subjects of this study were 3 public relations staff. Data analysis here uses the Miles and Huberman models using source triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the role of BPSDM public relations in East Java Province namely as a communication facilitator, expert advisor, problem solving facilitator and communication technician has been going well.Keywords: positive image; public relations.

Abstract

The purpose of this researh is to determine the results of the development of scientific-based textbooks at office technology subjects at SMK Ketintang Surabaya. The office technology teacher at Ketintang Vocational School in Surabaya stated that teaching materials in the form of textbooks did not exist before. This whole time, the teacher uses LKS and materials found from the internet for the learning activities. However, the LKS used is not in accordance with the syllabus in the revised edition of the 2013 curriculum which emphasizes on the scientific learning (5M). This definitely does not reflect the characteristics of learning that should be student-centered. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D development model developed by Thiagarajan, namely defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. However, this research was only carried out until the design stage only due to the limitations in this study. The results of this research are analyzing the textbooks that will be developed which begin with the define stage which includes the preliminary analysis, analysis of students, task analysis, concept analysis, and specifications of learning objectives. Next step is the design phase which includes the preparation of the textbook, the selection of the textbook format, and the design of the textbook itself. Therefore, it is expected that the development of scientific-based textbooks in office technology subjects at SMK Ketintang Suarabaya can help the teachers to deliver the learning materials and can facilitate students in understanding those materials in office technology subjects.

Abstract

Learning resources is one of the needs in the learning process. To ensure the learning process conducted effectively, learning resources must fulfill requirement of curriculum, such as by using technology to get facilities of access and flexibility in learning. This journal aims to develop learning resources, determine the appropriateness of learning resources, and determine student responses through the development of the Governance Staffing Automation Based on Android and Scientific e-module on Class XI OTKP 2 Odd Semester Material at SMK PGRI 2 Sidoarjo. To carry out these developments, a 4-D research model was used with data collection in the form of material expert validation, language expert validation, graphic expert validation and student responses. The results of the study stated that the e-modules developed in the category were very suitable to be used as learning resources in terms of validations result of material feasibility is 96,57%, language feasibility 95,71%, and feasibility of graphic 92,67%. If averaged, the result of product feasibility obtained a percentage of 94,98%. Then, the student response results obtained score of 94,58%.

Abstract

This research developent aims to describe the process of developing textbooks, analyze the feasibility of textbooks, and analyze student responses to textbooks in the subject Administration of Facilities and Infrastructure semester XII APK I at SMKN Mojoagung that has been developed. The development model used in this research is the 4D development model from Thiagarajan which includes four stages of development namely the defining stage, the design stage, the development stage, and the disseminate stage. However, the distribution stage was not carried out because the disseminate stage was carried out after the experimental process was carried out. This research was conducted on 20 students of class XII APK 1 in SMKN Mojoagung. The results of the validation show that the feasibility component of the textbook content is 95.6%, the feasibility of the presentation is 90.47%, the language feasibility is 93.4%, and the feasibility of the graphic is 85.52%. The overall total textbook eligibility is 91.3% with very strong criteria. Trials conducted on students showed an average score of the development of textbooks by 91.3% with very strong criteria. So it can be concluded that in the development of textbooks in the subject Administration of Facilities and Infrastructure semester XII APK 1 at SMKN Mojoagung was declared appropriate to be used as teaching material.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a prototype of teaching materials in the form of Scientific Student based Activity Sheet on General Administration Subjects in Class X OTKP Odd Semester involving experts and students to obtain LKPD eligibility as well as student responses regarding LKPD developed. This type of research is a type of research development using the 4D model that is define, design, develop, disseminate but the research conducted by researchers did not reach the disseminate stage because the purpose of this study was to obtain a product prototype and the results of eligibility from experts. The subjects of the study were 20 students of class X OTKP 1ND Lamongan, using questionnaire responses of students while for experts using validation sheets. The results of this study indicate that the Student Activity Sheet which was developed in the subjects of General Administration class X OTKP using 4D models namely define, design, develop, disseminate, however, researchers only reached the develop stage because the purpose of this study was to obtain a product prototype and product viability results. In terms of material, language, and graphic aspects, the total percentage of 88.06% was included in the very feasible category. Each percentage of material experts 84.2% with very decent interpretation criteria, 91% of linguists with very decent interpretation criteria, 89% graphic experts with very decent interpretation criteria. The response results of students get 96.3% with very good criteria. Thus the development of Scientific-based LKPD in General Administration Subjects Class X OTKP obtained results worthy of use in teaching and learning activities in General Administration.
