Abstract

Transportasi merupakan salah satu komponen yang mutlak penting bagi pencapaian tujuan pembangunan nasional masa kini dan  mendatang. Berbagai studi telah menunjukkan bahwa negara-negara yang berhasil dalam pencapaian tujuan pembangunan adalah negara-negara yang memiliki sistem transportasi yang memadai dalam memenuhi kebutuhan dinamis penduduknya. Angkutan laut atau pelayaran merupakan bagian dari transportasi yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dengan sarana transportasi lainnya. Di Indonesia terdapat dua kelompok besar penyelenggara transportasi laut, yaitu oleh pemerintah dan swasta. Masing-masing kelompok terbagi dua, di pihak pemerintah terbagi menjadi BUMN pelayaran yang menyelenggarakan transportasi umum dan BUMN non pelayaran yang hanya menyelenggarakan pelayaran khusus untuk melayani kepentingan sendiri. Sedangkan untuk pihak swasta terbagi menjadi perusahaan besar dan perusahaan kecil (termasuk pelayaran rakyat). Atas dasar tersebut dalam penelitian ini, peneliti mengangkat judul Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi Implementasi Kebijakan Transportasi Laut Di PT. Pelayaran Bahtera Adiguna (PT.Bag.) Di Cilacap Jawa Tengah.  Tujhuan penelitu ini adalah Sesuai dengan perumusan masalah yang telah dikemukakan maka tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi implementasi kebijakan transportasi laut di PT. Pelayaran Bahtera Adiguna (PT. BAG) cabang Cilacap Propinsi Jawa Tengah.

Abstract

Commercial ships are a means of transportation at sea. For ships that do not exchange ballast water accordingly, it can be dangerous for the port environment they enter. The purpose of this research is to determine the metal content in the ballast tank water of commercial ships that have not implemented ballast water exchange in the middle of the sea following the rules of the International Maritime Organization (IMO). Research on the content of heavy metals in the ballast water of commercial ships, both ferries and cargo ships docked at the port, has been carried out using the AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy) method on flame. The results showed that the Pb content in ballast water ranged from 0.004-1.65 mg/liter, Cd ranged from 0.0015-0.47 mg/liter, Cu ranged from 0.0035-0.362 mg/liter and Zn ranged from 0.0015-2.54 mg/liter. According to the Decree of the Minister of the Environment Number 51 of 2004, the metal content of Cd and Zn has exceeded the seawater quality standards for water port, namely 0.001 mg/liter and 0.1 mg/liter, while the content of Pb and Cu has not exceeded the port quality standards.

Abstract

The use of a pressure tank with a hydrophore tank that serves to temporarily store water, with the principle of providing air pressure on the upper surface of the water in the tank. Working pressure on hydrophore operation is a very important parameter for maximum operation. Problems that often occur in hydrophore tanks are usually from the supply pump, water level in the tank, air pressure, and pressure sensors. Problems caused by pumps include pump leaks, the presence of air in the water flow. As a result, the freshwater pump for supply to the hydrophore tank is often On-Off with a very fast time duration. This research was conducted to find the right setting to maintain stable operating pressure on the hydrophore tank. The research was conducted directly on board the MV. NORDTIGER with a case study of direct problems that occur in the freshwater distribution system on board. The variables at the time of data collection were the working pressure of the hydrophore tank pressure and the water level in the tank. The operating load used in data collection is the condition of ordinary load and full load. The results of the study on the performance of the hydrohore tank by varying the water-air level, working pressure range and final loading. The shortest duration of filling time is at 50%:50% volume level composition at a pressure of 5-7 bar, while the longest filling time is at 70%:30% water-air volume level at a pressure of 3-7 bar.

Abstract

The ejector pump has two main components, namely the electro-motor part and the mechanical part. The electro motor plays a vital role in the activity of draining sea water to the fresh water generator. The electro motor acts as a rotary driver in pump mechanics which has the working principle of converting electrical energy into mechanical energy. Control system and electro protection. The purpose of this research is to determine the cause of overload on a mechanical motor pump. The research was conducted by observation, namely direct observation of the pump which functions as an auxiliary machine. The results show that because the bearings experience excessive heat due to the connection at the center of the motor with the pump not being centered. Gland packing experiencing high speed events so that the shaft is difficult to rotate.

Abstract

Vocational campuses are campuses where most of the learning is carried out through practice with the aim that students have more skills and competencies when working in industry. However, in the COVID-19 pandemic situation, all learning must be carried out online, both theoretical and practical courses. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of feasibility and success of the online learning of applied physics practicum courses at the Politeknik Maritim Negeri Indonesia through analysis of student perceptions with the provision that the perception index is positive if it has a percentage of >40%. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative. The object of this research is students who take practical applied physics courses from the Nautika study program. The number of students who filled out the questionnaire was determined by using a purposive random sampling technique. The data was obtained through a googleform questionnaire and shared via whatsapp messages. The results of the study showed that the student perception index got a positive value with a feasibility percentage of 87% for the component of teaching and learning activities, 98% for the component of lecturer competence and 88% for the component of facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

One of the efforts to prevent or reduce accidents at work is the use of work safety tools. Fires can occur anywhere, one of which can occur in water transportation equipment, namely ships. Ship accidents caused by fire hazards are very likely to occur. Ships must be detected early to prevent the occurrence of such fires. Therefore, it is necessary to know the use of fire detection equipment in supporting safety on ships. The aim is to prevent fire hazards from spreading and support the ship’s safety, cargo, and, humans. life. This research was carried out on the ship MT Mabrouk. The method used in this research /is a qualitative method that produces descriptive data. Based on the results of research and discussion of problems regarding the fire detection equipment, It was found that there were problems with the ship's lack of coordination with the company and the responsibility of the ship's officers for fire detection equipment that is lacking so that the fire detection device does not function properly. Therefore, the captain must ensure that safety equipment such as tools to start activities to achieve safety from fire hazards is also carried out to control reports made by officers responsible for this equipment. The results of the research and observation can be concluded that shipping companies pay less attention to safety for their crews including ships and their cargo because of a lack of concern for the procurement of safety equipment on board. The author’ is that it is hoped that the participation of shipping companies in supporting the procurement of ship safety equipment for safety at sea.

Abstract

The condition of the ship is very influential in one of the transportation. The results of field study observations on the ship MT. Dewayani, the authors found a cargo that could not be sucked in by the cargo oil pump (COP). This is due to a damaged valve seat ring. This study aims to determine the impact of the seat ring valve on the COP system, determine the factors causing the seat ring valve damage, and determine the role of the crew in maintaining the seat ring valve. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Observations, interviews, literature studies, and documentation studies were conducted to collect data. The results of the study concluded that a damaged ring valve caused air to enter the COP system which had no bad impact. The cause of the seat ring valve damage is the lack of maintenance and the lack of professionalism of the crew, overrunning hours, and spare parts not according to the manual book. The role of the crew is to carry out maintenance according to PMS, operate according to the manual book, be calm and focused when there are problems, and cooperate between crew members.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic provides very valuable learning, especially for students to make breakthroughs in entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship provides opportunities for students to earn income. With entrepreneurship, the opportunity to earn a large income is wide open than being an employee. Expectations or hopes for a better income are one of the factors that influence whether a person wants to become an entrepreneur or not (Afrizal, Rafiy, & Nusantara, 2018). In addition, entrepreneurship practice education also affects students' interest in entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurial mental attitude in students can be instilled through entrepreneurship practice education based on entrepreneurial values ​​(Suryana, 2013). The purpose is to analyze the effect of income expectations and entrepreneurial practice education on students' interest in entrepreneurship. This research design uses quantitative research methods. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews and questionnaires. The analytical technique used in this research is descriptive statistics. The analytical tool used is the SmartPLS version 3.0 software. The research prove that the variables of income expectations and entrepreneurial practice education have a significant positive effect on students' interest in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

3% dari total rumah tangga warga modern biasanya tinggal di wilayah perumahan, jumlah tersebut menimbulkan bangkitan pergerakan setiap hari yang memerlukan penanganan sarana transportasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menyusun model bangkitan pergerakan yang berasal dari perumahan, dengan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap bangkitan pergerakan pada lokasi perumahan, sehingga dapat dipergunakan untuk memprediksi besarnya bangkitan yang akan terjadi seandainya akan dibangun lokasi perumahan yang baru. Kebutuhan transportasi warga perumahan sangat dominan dalam aktifitas sehari-hari, sehingga diperlukan respon tentang aktifitas dan moda transportasi, kondisi warga, serta memodelkan tingkat kemudahan melaksanakan aktifitas transportasi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara pengisian kuesioner oleh responden dan wawancara (in-depth interview) dengan satuan rumah tangga (household). Penentuan sampel dilakukan secara acak yang distratifikasi (stratified random sampling), dengan peubah bebas (X1) kondisi jalan lingkungan, (X2) tingkat kemudahan memperoleh angkutan umum, (X3) kepemilikan sepeda motor dan (X4) kepemilikan  mobil.  Dari analisis regresi diperoleh nilai tingkat kemudahan melaksanakan aktifitas transportasi (Y) = 2,4303 + 0,1265  X1+ 0,1207 X2 +  0,2367 X3  +  0.4687 X4

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas senam hamil untuk mengurangi kecemasan pada ibu hamil. Senam hamil merupakan suatu gerakan tubuh berbentuk latihan – latihan dengan aturan, sistematika, dan prinsip-prinsip gerakan khusus yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi ibu hamil, betujuan agar ibu hamil siap mental dan jasmani dalam menghadapi proses persalinan. Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah ada perbedaan kecemasan pada posttest antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Kecemasan pada kelompok eksperimen lebih rendah daripada kecemasan pada kelompok kontrol. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan Quasi Eksperimen Pretest-Posttest Kontrol Group Design. Dalam desain ini terdapat dua kelompok, yaitu kelompok eksperimen (dikenai perlakuan) dan kelompok kontrol (tidak dikenai perlakuan). Subyek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 5 orang wanita hamil yang mengikuti senam hamil sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 5 orang wanita hamil yang tidak mengikuti senam hamil masuk ke dalam kelompok kontrol. Pengelompokan di dalam penelitian ini tanpa menggunakan Random Assignment. Skala yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengadaptasi skala kecemasan Hamilton rating Scale For Anxiety (HRS-A). Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji beda Mann-Whiteney. Hasil analisis yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan perubahan kecemasan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, kelompok eksperimen mengalami penurunan kecemasan sedangkan kelompok kontrol mengalami kenaikan kecemasan. Hasil uji perbedaan Gain Score antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, maka diperoleh nilai U= 0,009 dengan p<0,01. Dengan demikian, ada efek dari senam hamil terhadap kecemasan pada wanita hamil atau hipotesis yang diajukan diterima.
