Abstract

Scholarships are generally a provision of fees for education for students who arestill actively attending lectures at a tertiary institution. The scholarship so thatit can help students to finance their needs during college. The backwardchaining method can facilitate the campus bureaucrats in determining studentswho are entitled to receive scholarships. Backward Chaining is a model inreverse of hypotheses, a potential or conclusion that must be proven by facts thatsupport the hypothesis. The backward chaining model in receiving scholarshipstakes some data from existing variable criteria such as active lecture certificates,student cumulative achievement indexes, attaching TOEFL certificate, identitycard, and curriculum vitae. Next, make a decision tree from the data variables thatexist, and finally is implemented. The results of this study have an accuracy of 95%,which can be recommended to get the scholarship and this method can facilitatethe determination of scholarship acceptance. The backward chaining method isvery effective and accurate in determining DIPA scholarship recipients with anaccuracy rate of 95%, making it easier for the North Sumatra state Islamicuniversity community to select students who are eligible to receive.

Abstract

Operating Systems are four components that must not be absent for Information Systems. For companies that have implemented a computerized system as part of the company's operational support, must pay attention to what Operating Systems are good for the company. Including the advantages and company budget for Information Technology. To get a good Operating System in accordance with office needs, a comparison of the Windows Operating System and Linux Operating System. The results of the comparison of these two Operating Systems can be input for deciding which Operating System is suitable for the company.

Abstract

The design of the helpdesk monitoring information system is made to assist in handling problems in the production system at PT. Krama Yudha Ratu Motor (KRM) to IT Support staff, both software and hardware problems, the information system currently running in the company is still deemed inadequate because every time there is a request to repair a problem in production it has not been recorded in the database and is difficult to monitor and monitor. further analyzed by superiors, especially those related to the use of spare parts, on the other hand the staff officer also experienced difficulties in checking the tasks that were being and had been carried out by the personnel if there was a question from the superior of theproduction team who submitted a request for repair.

Abstract

E-Commerce in Indonesia has increased every year, especially B2C sales and this is directly proportional to the increasing number of e-commerce sites in Indonesia. One of the things that this site offers is the ease of finding the product you want to find. However, in several tests conducted, it turns out that some Indonesian e commerce sites are unable to search for products based on the description keyword. Therefore, the writer tries to do this research using the VSM algorithm and produces an accuracy of 60%, a precision of 72.73%, and a recall of 80%.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic which began to spread in Indonesia at the end of 2019 until now has had an impact on the community, especially Bekasi Rawalumbu, mostly affected economically and socially. Overcoming the economic impact of the epidemic and social restrictions from the government, the community is making efforts to overcome the economic crisis by using information technology on the market. To find out the role of information technology in overcoming the economic impact on society, the method of gap analysis, importance-performance analysis, field observations, and surveys are validated and the reliability of the affected community is used. The role of this technology can be enhanced and empowered in overcoming the economic crisis caused by the epidemic.

Abstract

This study aims to implement a Radio Frequency Identification attendancean application that is integrated with the database to support the program to improve the disciplined attitude of the teachers of the Nurul Huda Jannatu Vocational High School Cirebon City. This Radio Frequency Identification application consists of several main components, namely id cards which are used to read the information regarding the presence of teachers of the Nurul Huda Jannatu Vocational High School Cirebon City. Database integration in this system will allow data to be automatically stored directly into a Web Server database so that the reach of information can be accessed anywhere without being limited by distance or time and does not need intensive supervision so that the tool facilitates and makes teacher activities more efficient

Abstract

Object segmentation in the image aims to separate the object area from the background area. Before the segmentation process, the image undergoes some initial processing to obtain good object segmentation results. Pre-processing is an image processing operation to improve image quality. An image histogram is a graph depicting the quantitative distribution of the value of the degree of gray pixels in or a certain part of the image. From the table we can see the comparison of the values for thresholding of the 4 methods used in image testing image 1 gets the best results with a value of 59, image 2 with a value of 105, image 3 with a value of 161, image 4 with a value of 121 and image 5 with a value of 102 and from the table value it can be seen that the proposed method gives better ME values than the 3 methods another (otsu, KI, Kwon).

Abstract

Production planning increases every month, with the increase in planing it is necessary to improve quality. PT Voksel Electric Tbk is a manufacturing industry engaged in the production of power cables, telecommunications, and fiber optics. The company tries to control the quality of its products to maintain quality in accordance with the company's vision, which is to become a world-class cable solution provider in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine how to control the quality of Twisted Cable at PT Voksel electric Tbk using the seven tools and QCC methods. The increased production planning does not match the actual production . This is due to the level of production failure. In this study, the method used in quality control is seven tools that are used to analyze the causes of production failure rates. By using the PDCA cycle (plan, do, check, action) and by using seven tools as a tool to determine the cause and effect of the failure of the production process. The causes obtained are from gram dust, from crust on visual insulation, and from powder materials. By controlling the quality using the seven tools method, it can reduce production process time, production costs, and increase production capacity from 700 km to 800 km. an increase in production capacity of 100 km provides a benefit of Rp. 470,000,000,00,-

Abstract

In comparing objects to analyze the relationship between objects, in computer technique, we can use the methods called data mining. This system is very familiar created with many steps. In this research, algorithm ways used is algoritma priory and algorithm FP- Growth. To decide the relationship between scores in Math and English and the final result of programming and web programming study, we use the two methods above. So, we can see the relationship between the three indicators mentioned. The connection of math and programming, the highest confidence score was 54.5%. The connection between English and programming was 66.7% and the connection between English and web programming was 60%. For the result of the FP-Growth Algorithm process, the high difference was seen in a simpler and faster way, compared if using apriori. This is caused by the reason Algorithm FP-Growth, not all data scanned to get the scoring support based on frequencies from each data given.

Abstract

The difficulty of testing the truth of the source code and the detection of plagiarismsource code is the underlying problem of this research. The string matchingalgorithm is the main algorithm required in the detection of source code plagiarism.Currently, there are many existing strings matching algorithms, therefore it isnecessary to compare and select the appropriate string matching algorithm to theexisting requirement. As for the system, the researcher conducts a literature study and direct observation to find the appropriate source code testing system. The Rabin-Karp algorithm is chosen based on the average of a good time and space complexity. And also can be modified, so that the Rabin-Karp algorithm can be made in such a way that can meet all the needs that exist. As for the system testing source code researchers choose the online judge system because the system in the test is objective.
