Publikasi jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menyebarluaskan gagasan konseptual dari hasil penelitian dan hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dicapai pada bidang sastra, bahasa, dan pendidikan Jurnal Sajak secara khusus menitikberatkan pada permasalahan pokok dalam pengembangan ilmu-ilmu sebagai berikut: Pendidikan secara Umum. Lingustik, mencakup kajian mengenai linguistik, fonologi, morfologi, sintaksis, semantik, pragmatik, wacana, sosiolinguistik, psikolinguistik, neurolinguistik, dan kajian lingustik lainnya. Lingustik Terapan, mencakup kajian mengenai pembelajaran linguistik, pembelajaran fonologi, pembelajaran morfologi, pembelajaran sintaksis, pembelajaran semantik, pembelajaran pragmatik, pembelajaran wacana, pembelajaran sosiolinguistik, pembelajaran psikolinguistik, pembelajaran neurolinguistik, dan kajian linguistik terapan lainnya. Sastra, mencakup kajian mengenai puisi, prosa fiksi, drama, dan film dengan pendekatan struktural, stilistika, semiotika, sosiologi sastra, psikologi sastra, psikoanalis, ekologi sastra, dekonstruksi, filologi, fenomenologi, marxisme, pascakolonial, feminisme, resepsi sastra, antropologi sastra, dan kajian sastra lainnya. Sastra Terapan, mencakup kajian mengenai pembelajaran puisi, pembelajaran prosa fiksi, pembelajaran drama, dan kajian sastra terapan lainnya.

<![CDATA[The research method used was that this research was carried out in Pekanbaru in 2020. Furthermore, this research method used a qualitative descriptive method with the aim of describing the writing style of news headlines in the headlines of the Pekanbaru Tribune newspaper which were found in the research as is. The term "descriptive" is one of the characteristics of qualitative research. Therefore, this research is also called qualitative research, whose characteristics appear in the description of the research data, data collection, data analysis, and presentation of the results of data analysis. The data collection technique in this study is the data collection technique is the main step in conducting this research, because the main purpose of this research is to obtain data. The techniques used to obtain data in this study are documentation techniques. agendas and so on. The data that the author obtained were 30 data from the Tribun Pekanbaru Newspaper. Hermeneutic techniques are techniques of reading, noting, and summarizing. The author does this technique with the aim of getting the data that is examined. Here, the author first reads the newspapers contained in the Pekanbaru Tribune newspaper, then records the words included in the types of headlines in the editorial. <![CDATA[This research examines pathos in the form of three da'wah videos downloaded from YouTube in 2022. The informants in this study were Nazriel Abdul Muluk., Lc. While the problems that will be discussed in this study: (1) how is the pathos of feelings, emotions, hopes, hatred and affection in Nazriel Abdul Muluk's preaching. This study aims to describe, analyze, interpret and conclude the pathos of feelings, emotions, hopes, hatred, and compassion in Nazril Abdul Muluk's preaching on YouTube. This type of research is qualitative research with qualitative descriptive methods. Data collection techniques in this study using documentation techniques, analysis techniques, data reduction, and data presentation. The results of this study found that there were 25 data including pathos in the form of 2 data of touching feelings, 10 data of emotions, 4 data of hope, 3 data of hatred and 6 data of affection. So it can be concluded that the pathos used by Nazriel Abdul Muluk is more dominant in using pathos in the form of emotional touch to influence listeners to be able to understand what the speaker is conveying.]]>

<![CDATA[The theoretical research is motivated by several things, including the use of hijab on female characters in the novel Fake Hijab by Kifa Ansu based on Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic study. The problem in this study is how the psychological aspects of female and male characters in the novel Fake Hijab by Kifa Ansu. The data in this study are all the elements of the story in the novel Fake Hijab by Kifa Ansu based on Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method and this type of research is library research. The data source for this research is the text of the novel Fake Hijab by Kifa Ansu. The data collection technique in this study was a hermeneutic technique, namely reading, noting, and concluding. The results of the study show that there are id, ego, and superego in the novel Fake Hijab by Kifa Ansu. The results of this study indicate that the most dominant aspect of the superego personality. The id is related to the principle of pleasure which always seeks pleasure in the novel Fake Hijab by Kifa Ansu, which shows that when humans are able to control their ego and lead them to the superego, it will have a good impact on them. Therefore, the personality aspects of the id, ego and superego in humans must be balanced.]]>

<![CDATA[Illocutionary speech act other than giving information about something. The problem in this study is how are Illocutionary Speech Acts in Democracy Notes on Tv One? The purpose of this study is to describe the illocutionary speech acts contained in the Democracy Notes Program on Tv One. The approach in this research is a qualitative approach with content analysis method. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that there were 150 data containing illocutionary speech acts. Then from the five forms of illocutionary speech acts the writer only found four illocutionary speech acts, namely, assertive, directive, commissive, and expressive. Assertive speech acts were found in 106 speech data. Directive illocutionary speech acts found 30 speech data. There are 3 commissive illocutionary speech acts in data, and 11 utterances found in expressive illocutionary speech acts. While declarative illocutionary speech acts were not found.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to find out the ethical principles of the environment in the novel Serdadu Pantai Karya Laode Insan, with a total of 36 data collected. This study uses a descriptive approach. In researching literary works, formal qualitative research data is obtained from novel texts in the form of words, sentences, and discourse. The results of this study found 7 principles of environmental ethics, namely, the principle of compassion and respect for nature, the principle of living simply and in harmony with nature, the principle of democracy, the principle of responsibility, the principle of respect for nature, the principle of cosmic solidarity, and the principle of not harming. where 2 of the principles were not found, namely the principle of justice and the principle of moral integrity. The principle of living in harmony and simplicity with nature is most commonly found in the beach soldier novel by Laode Insan.]]>

<![CDATA[The background of this research is the implementation of practice in the field which found that students practice experience in managing the teaching and learning process are less effective. Field experience practice students lack mastery of teaching materials so students do not understand the explanations conveyed by field experience practice students. When teaching in class, students are considered as peers, some students are difficult to work with and there are students who are not polite to students in field experience practice. This study aims to describe, analyze, and interpret the perceptions of tutors on student pedagogical competence. This research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study were all tutors from PPL FKIP UIR students at Pelalawan District High School. This study used a sample of 9 Indonesian tutors in schools where PPL FKIP UIR students carried out PPL activities in Pelalawan District. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and observations. The data analysis technique that researchers did in this study was using percentages. The results showed that the average tutor teacher's perception of the pedagogic competence of PPL students in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program FKIP UIR for the 2019/2020 Academic Year was 80.90 in the good category with details namely 1) the tutor's perception of the student's ability to understand participants 80.56 in the good category, 2) the teacher's perception of students' ability to design learning is 82.78 in the good category, 3) the tutor's perception of the student's ability to carry out learning is 84.26 in the good category, 4) the tutor's perception on carrying out learning evaluations of 77.78 in the good category, and 5) The teacher's perception of the ability of students to develop students is 76.39 in the good category.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this research is to analyze and describe data on Islamic religious values in the novel Hijab For Sisters. The theory used in this study is the theory of Islamic Religious Education Based on Character Education by Wiyani. The research method uses descriptive method. The approach used is a qualitative approach. The data collection technique used by the author is the hermeneutic technique, namely reading, recording, and concluding. The results of this study contained 3 concepts of Islamic religious values in the novel Hijab for Sisters by Triani Retno. Includes: (1) Aqidah, can be seen from the character's belief that Allah SWT knows what is good and bad and believes in the most effective prayer to ask Allah SWT. (2) Shari'ah, can be seen from the traditional belief in the teachings contained in Islam. (3) Morals, can be seen from the behavior of the characters who always respect those who are older than them and give advice to people who make mistakes. Morals are mostly conveyed by the author in the novel because this novel tells about the life of Islamic boarding school children who have a positive influence on the Islamic boarding school environment, not only within the Islamic boarding school environment but also carried into the community environment.]]>

<![CDATA[Language is the main medium for conveying ideas, ideas, feelings, souls and experiences of poets in a literary work. This book, a collection of poems by Marhalim Zaini, contains imagery and tells about the world of poet love. The problem studied in this study is how the imagery is contained in the poetry collection book Melody Rain Tiris Poems of Love by Marhalim Zaini. The aim of this research is to know, analyze and interpret imagery data in poetry. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of library research. The method used is descriptive method and uses data collection techniques with hermeneutic techniques. Data analysis technique used content analysis technique and data validation technique used triangulation technique. The book of poetry collection Melody of Rain Tiris Poems of Love by Marhalim Zaini brings to the imagination that stimulates the five human senses and describes the story of love, turmoil and the process of the poet's romance. The results of research on imagery contained in the poetry collection book Melody Rain Tiris Poems of Love by Marhalim Zaini found that visual imagery is more dominant. The six types of imagery in the poem can describe and feel something in the poem that allows the reader to describe from the poet's perspective, thoughts, feelings, depiction of the poet's condition and creates an atmosphere and expression.]]>

<![CDATA[The textbook for learning to read used by students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at the Islamic University of Riau does not contain the text of Riau Malay folklore. Therefore, this study aims to identify the need for reading learning textbooks that contain the texts of Riau Malay folklore. This research is a qualitative research that uses questionnaires and interviews as instruments. Respondents in this study were students in semester 7 class of 2019 in the Indonesian Language and Literature Education study program, Riau Islamic University who took the Reading Learning course. The results of this study provide a description of the needs of reading learning textbooks that contain the text of Riau Malay folklore in accordance with the eligibility standards of textbooks, including aspects of the eligibility of content, presentation, language, and content of Riau folklore.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the purpose of using declarative utterances and to find out the sources of declarative utterances that meet the principle of cooperation in the use of declarative utterances on Najwa Shihab's youtube channel episode "Thank You Pak JK". This research uses a qualitative approach and the type of this research is library research. The results of this study show 240 declarative utterances from the sources consisting of conveying factual information 107 utterances, stating decisions and judgments of 45 utterances, stating agreements, warnings and advices 13 utterances, expressing congratulation or misfortune 0 utterances, and providing explanations and explanations totaling 75 utterances. In speaking, the speakers convey factual information more to the presenters. In the declarative utterances of resource persons who have met the cooperative principle, there are 163 utterances consisting of 37 utterances of quantity maxim, 11 utterances of quality maxim, 105 utterances of relevance maxim, and 10 utterances of implementation maxim.]]>
