Abstract

Socialization of the utilizations and advantages of city gas is a community service that aims to make people understand the growth of the urban gas distribution sector in Indonesia and provide information to the public about LPG substitute economic energy sources. Gas network for households means distributing gas through pipes to households. The limited availability of household gas in DKI Jakarta made this socialization theme raised. The location chosen is the Tanjung Gedong area, Tomang-sub distrct, Grogol Petamburan district, West Jakarta, which in this case, the area is a densely populated area, especially family settlements. The participants who took part in this community service were housewives.  The method used is to provide socialization about the urban gas network developed by the government for household gas purposes, the socialization is carried out online with the zoom facility and some others offline in the community while still using the existing health protocol. The result of this community service activity is that the public is able to recognize and understand the existence of a gas network whose infrastructure development is being developed by the government through PT PGN Tbk. This community service makes the community clearly aware of the flow in the “jargas” development program.

Abstract

Mass movements often occur in the village of Ciasmara, Pamijahan district, Bogor regency. The phenomenon of mass movement can provide economic losses as well as casualties. Therefore, the village community needs to know the region's potential for a mass movement. Ciasmara village has characteristics of steep slopes and lithological arrangement that has experienced weathering. The high rain intensity also aggravates this condition; it can cause mass movements. In this community service activity, statistical analysis of Geographic Information Systems has been conducted in digitally mapping the potential of mass movement in Ciasmara village, Pamijahan, Bogor. As a data input, landslides and slope impact points from Landsat 8 were used. As a result, 212 landslide points have been collected as an inventory. This data is broken down into training data, 60% of the overall data, and the rest as validation data. The modelling results showed the correlation of landslide events with an Area Under Curve (AUC) value>0.6. After validation, the model accuracy rate of up to 81.11% indicates that the model can be accepted. This community service resulted in a land movement vulnerability map in Ciasmara village with a vulnerability level of 4 zones; the vulnerability level is very low, low, medium, and high.

Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic has resulted in changes in lifestyle and activities. This is also felt by entrepreneurs who are members of Depok Creative Woman and partners in the Community Service Program. The problems faced by partners are how to use information technology and Google Drive, which can be used to create and store documents that can be accessed and edited online together in WFH situations, how to create and distribute questionnaires that can be used online, what are the security factors that need to be considered in the use of information technology online, as well as how to use information technology in offline internet conditions. This activity aims to provide training on organizing documents to support the effectiveness of WFH activities for partners. The activity plan begins with the identification of partner problems. Next, the activity team is coordinated to find solutions to problems and assignments by team members. Implementation of activities utilizes the video conference Zoom application to explain and practice partners how to utilize information technology related to organizing documents to support the effectiveness of WFH activities. Based on the results of 18 respondents, it is known that 100% of respondents stated that training on uploading documents to Google Drive was beneficial for small and medium businesses/business activities.

Abstract

Eco enzyme is a product of organic waste derived from vegetables and fruits, fermented with sugar in a container and allowed to stand for three months to become an active solution. The use of eco-enzyme as a natural cleaning solution contributes to protecting the environment because it treats household-scale organic waste. The community service program aims to enhance Cigombong Village's potential with a community that cares about the environment that has been formed. The eco enzyme can be used to clean all areas of the house, clothes, vegetables, and fruits, fertilize plants, eliminate pests, and improve the quality of plants; the eco enzyme is also very effective in repelling plant pests. The eco enzyme can also be utilized to stimulate plant hormones to enhance fruit and vegetable quality and improve crop yields. Making eco enzymes can be done simply, using easily available equipment. The raw materials for eco enzyme consist of brown sugar, water, and fruit peel waste in a ratio of 1:10:3. The container used for the eco enzyme is a plastic jar with a lid. A training program for making eco enzymes from fruit and vegetable peel waste can protect the environment, increase community plantation yields and make Cigombong village a fruit tourism village.

Abstract

In the current digital era, especially during the new normal, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) must adapt to existing conditions. The success of MSMEs can improve the national economy. Financial technology (fintech) is an innovation in the financial industry that MSMEs can utilize to increase their productivity. On average, pre-test data on Community Service (PkM) participants need to fully understand the procedures for accessing fintech and the conditions for transactions using them. This became the basis for counselling on fintech's role in improving service quality for MSMEs under the Insan Palma Sejahtera Foundation, West Jakarta. As many as 72 per cent of PKM participants have used fintech as a digital wallet, and the rest have never used it. Those who have used fintech as a digital wallet are easy to use and offer many promotions/discounts. Those who have not used it claim to be unsafe, have lots of scams, need to learn about fintech and find it difficult to use. The material presented in the counselling can increase participants' knowledge about the role of financial technology in MSMEs. Participants are motivated to use fintech to develop their businesses, significantly improving their services.

Abstract

One of the issues facing the planet is energy. Energy's significant role influences numerous local economic activities in society. To prepare for growing fuel prices, cheap, accessible alternative fuel is required. The strategy employed for this community service is socialization and training, and it is done offline (face-to-face) while still paying attention to the health program. This PkM task is broken down into multiple steps. Planning comes first, followed by gathering equipment and supplies, making briquette samples, and finally, implementing the strategy. The activity found that approximately 15 housewives participated in this PkM activity. Providing information about the energy sources needed in Indonesia and their use is part of this PkM's work program. The community service projects that have been completed are anticipated to have a beneficial impact on society and the environment, mainly on the locals of Gili Sampang Kebon Jeruk. The training participants were quite proactive during the activity, which can be proven from several questions to make alternative energy fuels good and maximum that the community can utilize. The PkM team and participants created a mutual agreement that synergizes with each other to develop alternative energy sources in the form of fuels that benefit the community.

Abstract

The hilly area around Situ Rawa Gede is located in Sirnajaya Village, Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency, with the existence of Situ Rawa Gede surrounded by hills extending from the south to the northwest. Landform changes are increasingly visible in the hilly areas around Situ Rawa Gede due to community gardening activities and coffee agro-tourism, and the opening of settlements causes topsoil to peel off, which is detrimental to the physical condition of the soil, can cause erosion and trigger mass movement of soil/rock. It is necessary to arrange land in the hilly area around Situ Rawa Gede to be appropriately organized. A zoning map of the vulnerability of ground motion is needed; from this map, it can be seen which areas have low to high soil vulnerability. Land management is one of them by making terracing which helps increase water infiltration into the soil and limiting surface runoff to minimize the risk of surface water erosion. This PkM activity provides a technical description of the concept of making a soil movement vulnerability zoning map to the community so that they understand the importance of maps of low to high soil vulnerability zones in their area in disaster mitigation efforts and through technical assistance related to the application of bench terraces and garden terraces so that they can be planted with plantation crops as ground cover is also for the safety of the community and visitors to coffee agro-tourism.
