Jurnal Pengabdian Pendidikan Masyarakat (JPPM) merupakan jurnal yang diterbitkan oleh LP3M Universitas Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo. Jurnal Pengabdian Pendidikan Masyarakat (JPPM) bertujuan untuk mempublikasikan artikel hasil kegiatan pengabdian dan pemberdayaan di masyarakat yang menerapkan berbagai bidang ilmu diantaranya pendidikan, teknik, pertanian, sosial humaniora, komputer dan kesehatan. <![CDATA[KKN is a form of Tridharma that is actually carried out. It is called devotion. These activities give the integration between college and society. Sapta Mulia village is located at Tebo. It is a large village that has eight hamlets. Based on the statistics, the last education of the society is elementary school and junior high school. It affects people's understanding of how important education is. Sapta Mulia has a lot of education facilities but they do not have study assistance that supports students’ learning. Teras Impian is built by some activities. They are socialization of the importance of education for children and study assistance. The result of Teras Impian is the society of Sapta Mulia village is more understanding about how important of education is for children and the children have more of a will to study more from elementary school to junior high school.]]>

<![CDATA[This Community Service was carried out at Alkhairat High School, Ternate City. Partner problems namely (1) Teachers experience obstacles in the distance learning process (online); (2) the internet network is not optimal so that it becomes an obstacle in evaluating online learning; (3) Less use of learning media applications has not been utilized optimally; and (4) the teacher experiences difficulties when the teacher uses the application because the teacher lacks knowledge of the application used. This PKM aims to provide solutions for partners, namely Alhairat High School Teachers in Ternate City to improve the ability to use applications in learning. The PKM implementation method is carried out by: (1) Providing material about Geogebra, (2) Learning practices with the Geogebra Application in carrying out learning evaluations, (3) evaluating and mentoring. The results of the PKM that was carried out were (1) the Geogebra Media Utilization Workshop was able to improve the Capability of Alhairat High School Teachers in Ternate City in the Alkhairat High School Hall. Participants who took part were 26 teachers. The results of the participant response sheets stated that the results were very good; and (2) the GeoGebra Media Utilization Workshop has been able to improve the Capabilities of Alhairat High School Teachers in Ternate City like this must continue to be carried out in order to improve teachers' abilities to utilize GeoGebra media in learning, especially for mathematics teachers so that learning has variations in utilizing technology-based learning media.]]>

<![CDATA[The ability to think critically and creatively is an important aspect for developing individual potential in the era of globalization. To improve these skills, the Literacy Culture Activity Program is implemented with an innovative and interesting approach called WAK PIJAR (Pontianak Active Learning Time). This program aims to invite children to actively participate in reading and writing activities, focusing on improving critical thinking and creative thinking. Through WAK PIJAR, children are invited to participate in reading, writing, and discussion activities that stimulate critical thinking, and encourage imagination and creativity. WAK PIJAR activities are delivered in a planned and structured manner by involving students in group discussions, text analysis, and creative writing. In addition, there are demonstration sessions and games are also held which stimulate innovation. The result of the WAK PIJAR program is that the children who take part in this activity experience an increase in their ability to think critically and creatively.]]>

<![CDATA[At the end of 2022, precisely in October-November 2022, Pringsewu Regency experienced the worst flood disaster in the last 12 years. As many as three pekon (villages) in Pringsewu Regency, Lampung, were flooded after being showered with heavy rain overnight. One of the villages affected by the floods is the Sukoharjo Village. As a result, for rice fields that have poor drainage channels, rainwater creates new problems, especially for rice farmers. too much water inundated crops. Socialization and demonstrations can be used to increase the knowledge of a group of respondents. Socialization and demonstrations regarding making infiltration wells and biopori infiltration holes have been carried out to provide information and knowledge to respondents regarding groundwater conservation issues, to get to know rainwater infiltration wells and biopori infiltration holes to reduce floods and landslides during the rainy season and as raw water reserves for activities people during the dry season. The method of implementing this service is a pre-test and post-test in the form of filling out questionnaires to respondents, namely residents. The results of the activity showed an increase in the percentage of residents' knowledge which increased from 64.29% to 86.43%.]]>

<![CDATA[Community service activities for lecturers are an effort to carry out one of the tri dharma tasks of higher education. This service activity aims to educate the public about the importance of protecting the environment around river basins by planting productive trees. In addition, the community can also understand the importance of reforestation to restore natural conditions, especially river banks which will be damaged due to natural and human factors. The implementation of this community service activity was carried out by providing an open green space for the elderly and the local community on May 28 2022 in the riverbank area of Jl. Letjen Jamin Ginting Km 45 Gelora Kasih GBKP 100 Year Jubilee Park Complex, Suka Makmur Village, Sibolangit District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. This Community Service is very beneficial for the elderly who are in the area where the tree is planted. This greening culture must be familiarized from an early age through the practice of planting trees. By frequently planting trees, it is hoped that it can increase people's awareness and love for preserving and protecting the environment, especially watersheds. With this Community Service activity, it is hoped that it will help the community to realize the importance of protecting the environment. The expected output targets from this activity are, First, provide an open green space for the elderly and the local community. Second, growing the local community's economy from the production of matoa and simpur tree seeds. Third, Improving the welfare of the surrounding community and the elderly.]]>

<![CDATA[Indonesia merupakan salah satu dari sekian banyak negara yang terdampak pandemi covid-19. Sepanjang tahun 2021 Indonesia mengalami berbagai dinamika dan tantangan dalam penangan pandemi Covid-19. Kasus Covid-19 di Indonesia masih tinggi disebabkan oleh beberapa hal. Berdasarkan hasil observasi diketahui bahwa masyarakat di Desa Danguran Klaten Selatan masih kurang dalam pemahaman dan kesadaran terhadap pencegahan Covid-19. Sehingga perlu dilaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di wilayah ini. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Desa Danguran Klaten Selatan dilakukan dengan memberikan edukasi kesehatan sebagai upaya pencegahan Covid-19. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mencegah penularan dan perluasan Covid-19. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian dilakukan dengan edukasi kesehatan baik langsung, secara online, maupun melalui poster, serta pembagian jamu dan vitamin kepada masyarakat di Desa Danguran Klaten Selatan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah masyarakat di Desa Danguran Klaten Selatan mendapat pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai Covid-19 dan varian terbaru Covid-19, cara menggunakan masker double (ganda) dengan benar, vaksin Covid-19, peningkatan imunitas melalui konsumsi jamu dan vitamin, cara menjaga jarak dengan benar, serta perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat.]]>

<![CDATA[The goal of developing a smart village (Smart Village) in the village of Kemantan, is for village development based on community empowerment that is inclusive and sustainable through increasing human resources. Community service is carried out by transforming the way of thinking, and how the community works in improving the quality of life, economy, skills, expertise, management, and governance of Kemantan Village in the Digital Age. The method used in the implementation of this community service is carrying out the method of implementing activities in the form of training, followed by discussions and questions and answers as well as the Socialization / Counseling method. With this, this activity can contribute and benefit in increasing the competitiveness and economy of the community. The results of community service activities, including the Village Children's Smart Home (RUMCADES) in Kemantan Village, making a Living Pharmacy (TOGA) PKK for the Kemantan Village Community, Village Community Arrangement, and Services. The community empowerment strategy is manifested in development as part of an effort to realize smart village pilots in a participatory way to anticipate economic crises, money politics, and necessities of life.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service program is motivated by the teacher's obligation to prepare learning tools including test questions that will be given to students. The preparation of the question text must be accompanied by a question grid so that the questions used are in accordance with the criteria. Therefore, the Muhammadiyah Muara Bungo University service team conducted training on drafting the question papers along with the question papers for the teachers. Community service activities use practical methods by providing training and mentoring in writing questions and making questions. Workshop activities are delivered in the meeting room provided by the school. All teachers at the school where the dedication took place took part in the activity. The method used: Lectures, Discussions, and Giving Assignments. The results obtained in the implementation of this community service activity are that the teacher is able to compile and make a grid of questions and the preparation of questions that can be used to measure the assessment of student learning outcomes.]]>

<![CDATA[Malnutrition and obesity are health problems that often occur in society due to an imbalance in the intake of nutrients consumed. Community service with balanced healthy menu counseling activities aims to prevent health problems of malnutrition and obesity that are rife in the community. The method used in this community service activity is an informative - participatory method with the technique of delivering training materials on general guidelines for balanced nutrition. Balanced menu counseling activities were given to 30 PAUD teachers in the West Tulang Bawang area. Post test results of participants who were able to answer all the questions given were 32%. This shows that there is a significant increase in the knowledge of PAUD teachers.]]>

<![CDATA[Desa Werwaru merupakan salah satu desa yang menjadi lokasi KKN mahasiswa PSDKU Universitas Pattimura. Mayoritas masyarakat Werwaru bekerja sebagai petani jagung dan kacang tanah. Kana tetapi, masyarakat masih kurang mengoptimalkan pengolahan dan pemasaran hasil produksi pertanian. Kurang optimalnya pengolahan dan pemasaran hasil produksi pertanian diantaranya karena tidak aktifnya BUMDes Werwaru. Oleh karena itu, mahasiswa KKN berinisiatif untuk mengadakan program pelatihan pembuatan olahan produk lokal berbahan dasar jagung dan kacang tanah yang diberi nama Ruhun Mulgera Jaya Snack. Program ini bertujuan untuk menambah wawasan masyarakat werwaru mengenai cara pengolahan jagung dan kacang tanah serta mengaktifkan kembali BUMDes Werwaru sehingga kesejahteraan masyarakat dapat meningkat. Program pelatihan pembuatan olahan produk lokal ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 19 – 21 Juli 2023. Program ini diikuti oleh masyarakat dan pengelolah BUMDes Werwaru. Tahapan kegiatan terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan berjalan dengan baik dan peserta pelatihan antusias dan penuh semangat dalam membuat produk Ruhun Mulgera Jaya Snack. Produk yang dihasilkan selanjutnya diserahkan secara resmi kepada pengelolah BUMDes Werwaru. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi setelah pelatihan selesai, diperoleh bahwa masyarakat peserta pelatihan telah mengetahui dan dapat membuat olahan produk lokal berbahan dasar jagung dan kacang tanah seperti produk Ruhun Mulgera Jaya Snack.]]>
