Abstract

Many previous studies have shown that learning motivation and learning effectiveness can be enhanced through educational learning media, and the recent introduction of enriched game elements has made such interactive games increasingly popular. The main objective of this study was to help primary school learners learn science-related concepts by participating in an educational card game, Cram flashcards. The researcher then investigated learners' perceptions regarding the integration of the game into science learning as well as the educational benefits of the game in relation to learning performance. A one-group pretest-post test design was implemented with 94 elementary school learners in Gunungsitoli City, North Sumatra, selected through purposive sampling. The results of this study found that the learners showed a positive attitude towards the use of educational card games in science learning. The results also showed the effectiveness of the proposed educational card game in improving science knowledge on transportation and energy. The study also suggests that teachers can explore learners' attitudes towards learning using card games to identify the elements that arouse interest and how knowledge is acquired through this interactive learning medium.

Abstract

Indonesia is blessed with a variety of diversity such as religion, culture, ethnicity, and language. Such differences often lead to conflicts. Islam as the majority religion, has an important role as the main axis of creating harmony. Islamic educational institutions must play an active role in seeding the value of multicultural education. The method is used descriptive qualitative. The data collection were used observation, interviews, and documentation. Its data analysis through reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study explain that students at the research site are entirely uniform, The implementation of multicultural education is focused on training students to accept and appreciate differences such as skin color, hair color, learning ability, and other differences encountered in the school. The difference encountered is in the parents of students whose community organizations are different from where the children go to school. Researchers concluded that these schools have instilled the values of multicultural education, although its implementation was not yet complete. Students while attending the school are required to follow the school's values even though they have different family backgrounds. This is because every educational institution must carry out its vision and mission according to the organization of its community.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the position of science and social studies subjects in the independent curriculum. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach carried out at SDN 04 Sukanegla Garut Kota District, Garut Regency from December 2022 to January 2023. The data collection process is carried out through observations, and interviews, and processed through triangulation techniques, data collection, data reduction, and data verification. The results explained that the position of Natural Sciences and Social Sciences was united with the aim of triggering children to manage the natural and social environment in one unit, considering that elementary school-age children are in the concrete operation phase so stimulus must be given to develop their cognitive abilities. IPAS subjects in class III-V are 180 hours per year with a time allocation for projects of 36 hours per year, and class VI has 160 hours per year with a time allocation for a project of 32 hours. The position of IPAS subjects at the elementary school level on one side has a positive impact because it eases the performance of teachers and students in mapping and understanding or learning IPAS subject matter that is stored in odd semesters and even semesters. IPAS is united to be understood comprehensively and can be realized as usual, there is no reduction in material and does not reduce the essence of both subjects.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that students' initial reading skills are still low. This results in low reading ability. This study aims to determine the increase in reading comprehension skills after implementing the Guide Reading strategy in learning Indonesian in Class VI students of SD Negeri 104/II Sungai Pinang. This research is a classroom action research, which was conducted in class VI of SDN 104/II Sungai Pinang with a total of 22 students consisting of 11 girls and 11 boys for the subject of Indonesian Language Education. This research was carried out in Semester II of the 2022-2023 Academic Year which was divided into two cycles. The results showed that there was an increase in reading comprehension skills after implementing the Guide Reading strategy, where the learning process in cycle I met 60% teacher aspects and 58% student aspects and in cycle I meeting II teacher aspects 73% and student aspects 75% while cycle II meetings I teacher aspect 80% and student aspect 70% and cycle II meeting II teacher aspect 85% and student aspect 80%. There was an increase in reading comprehension skills using the Guide Reading strategy from cycle I with a percentage of 75.86% to cycle II with a percentage of 93%. It was concluded that the use of the Guide Reading strategy can improve students' reading comprehension skills.

Abstract

The study Development of “Buku Pintu Ajaib” as A Medium in Guidance and Counseling Service for Elementary School 6th Graders developed a medium for the implementation of Guidance and Counseling. This study aims to determine the development of the "Buku Pintu Ajaib" as a medium for Guidance and Counseling services for 6th grade elementary school students and to determine the feasibility of the "Buku Pintu Ajaib" as a medium for Guidance and Counseling services for 6th grade elementary school students. This research is a Research and Development study following an adaptation of ADDIE research and development study procedures, which is limited to the validation stage. These were conducted by doing performance analysis, needs analysis, product development design, product development manufacturing, and product feasibility validation. The data were collected from questionnaires. From the material and medium feasibility validation conducted by Material Expert, Medium Expert, and Class Teacher, it can be said that “Buku Pintu Ajaib” medium is appropriate to be applied, with required revisions, as a medium in the informational and personal services of Guidance and Counseling for elementary school 6th graders.

Abstract

ABSTRACK Jamila.Turrohmah, 2023. Development of research based learning (RBL) e-modules with the help of 3d page flip pro in science lessons to support independent learning for grade IV elementary schools. Dharmasraya : Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program. Dharmas University Indonesia. This research is based on the low learning enthusiasm of students due to the lack of teaching materials used in schools. The teaching materials that have been developed are e-modules based on research based learning models that reflect 3d page flip pro aplications in grade iv elementary school science lessons. This type of development research uses the ADDIE model which consist of the design analysis, desgin, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The analysis phase includes needs analysis. The design stage is the design of the e-module and the validity sheet. The development stage, namely product development to the validator. The evaluation stage is to improve all suggestions from validators and practitioners for product feasibility. The results of the e-module validation research conducted by three experts obtained an average value of 92% by category “highly valid”. The results of the practicality value obtained from educators and students have an average value of 91,2% in the “ very practical”category. The results of the effectiveness value in the value in the form of questions filled out by students obtained a value of 91,70% in the “very effective” category. This study produced an e-module with very effective, very practical, and veru effective criteria. Keywords : Natural Science and Social Science, Research Based Learning, 3D Page Flip Pro.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan model Mind Mapping pada pembelajaran teks eksplanasi peserta didik kelas IX SMA Laboratorium UPGRIS Tahun 2022/2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran. Teknik tes dan nontes dilakukan untuk pengumpulan data penelitian dan data dianalisis menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Penyajian data penelitian dengan teknik formal dan informal. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa model Mind Mapping dapat diterapkan pada pembelajaran teks eksplanasi peserta didik kelas IX SMA Laboratorium UPGRIS Tahun 2022/2023. Berdasarkan hasil tes, didapatkan nilai rerata pretest sebesar 66,62 dan rerata posttest sebesar 78,22, dari hasil tes terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar teks eksplanasi peserta didik sebesar 12,34%. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan penyebaran angket kepada peserta didik serta pendidik, didapatkan temuan hasil penelitian bahwa model pembelajaran Mind Mapping dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran teks eksplanasi karena dapat meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyusun teks eksplanasi, mendorong keterlibatan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran menjadi lebih aktif, meningkatkan kreatifitas peserta didik dalam berpikir, memudahkan peserta didik dalam memahami materi pelajaran teks eksplanasi dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar teks eksplanasi peserta didik. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan aktifnya peserta didik saat mengikuti pembelajaran dan meningkatnya rerata nilai teks eksplanasi yang dihasilkan peserta didik. Abstract

The aim of the study was to measure and find out the validity of the points in Science Physics questions for class VII SMP Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo regarding the subject matter of temperature and heat through a quantitative descriptive approach and data collection techniques which were carried out using a test technique in the form of temperature and heat questions totaling 25 items in the form of multiple choices. The population used was all students of class VII SMP Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo as many as 224 students spread over 7 parallel classes, 40 students were taken randomly. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Data were analyzed using the Anates program version 4 for windows. The results showed that the level of validity of the questions was moderate, namely 0.42. Keywords: Validity, Problem, Science Physics

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Problem Based Learning model in learning Discussion Text in grade 9 students of SMP N 3 Kendal for the 2022/2023 academic year. This type of research is descriptive qualitative supported by quantitative (mixed) data. Data collection in this study was carried out using test and non-test techniques in the form of questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this study was carried out using triangulation techniques. Presentation of data in this study was carried out using formal and informal methods. The results in this study indicate that the Problem Based Learning model can be applied in Discussion Text learning for grade 9 students of SMP N 3 Kendal. Based on the results of tests, interviews, observations, and questionnaires, the Problem Based Learning model is able to increase students' understanding of Discussion Text learning materials, is able to improve students' critical thinking skills, is able to make students more active in the learning process, and can make the class atmosphere more enjoyable. more conducive.

Abstract

The research was conducted due to the problem of students' lack of interest in reading, especially in class IV SD N 12 IX Koto. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of the literacy program on reading interest in Indonesian language lessons in fourth grade elementary school students. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of experimental research. The sample of this research was 11 students of class IV SD N 12 IX Koto. A pretest-posttest design with only one group was used for the study. The results showed that the implementation of the literacy program had a positive impact on students' Indonesian learning achievement. There was an increase in the average score of Indonesian lessons from 67.55 to 81.18 after the implementation of the literacy program. students' ability and understanding of Indonesian also increased after the literacy program was implemented. the findings showed that the percentage of students who met the Minimum Completeness (KKM) increased from 4 (36%) to 9 (73%). Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of literacy programs has a positive effect on reading interest and increases Indonesian learning achievement in fourth grade students at SDN 12 IX KOTO.
