Abstract

Cash Flow Training is conducted to analyze the company's cash flow. This training was conducted for employees of the credit analysis section of Bank BNI. Cash flow analysis is carried out to analyze the cash activities of business entities that will apply for credit to Bank BNI so that bank analysts can determine the ability of prospective debtors to pay their debts. This is done starting from studying the company's cash flow to calculating the ratios related to cash flow. In this activity, participants were also asked to calculate the ratio and interpret the results of the ratio analysis that they calculated based on the questions given by the servant. This is done in groups and each group presents the results of their respective group cash flow analysis. With this training, it is expected to increase the knowledge of Bank employees in assessing and approving loans to be given to debtors.

Abstract

The progress of a nation can be seen from the growth and development of the education of its people. This shows that education is the basic key of a country. Education is often likened to a symbol of the strength, authority and greatness of a nation anywhere in the world. Education is essentially a human need, no exception. This has been explained in paragraph 4 in the Preamble to the 1945 Constitution that the purpose of the state is to participate in the intellectual life of the nation. Then in Article 31 of the 1945 Constitution it is also stated that every citizen has the right to education and teaching. Concrete efforts that need to be encouraged are developing and improving Human Resources (HR) through educational development. Tri Dharma of Higher Education as a guide for lecturers in carrying out their duties as an educator. One of the contents of the tri dharma of higher education is community service as a vehicle for socialization between lecturers and the community. Therefore, as a form of lecturer service to the community, PKM is carried out at SMK Tunas Muda Berkarya Batu Aji Batam. The form of this PKM is to hold training with the title "Motivation Training". The servant was interested in taking the title because the results of the interview with the principal said that students' learning motivation was at a low level, especially when they were in class III of SMK, they were at the peak of boredom. For this reason, this motivational training method tends to introduce each student's learning style through a semi-game questionnaire. The responses of the students were very optimistic and enthusiastic.

Abstract

Indonesian people's awareness of the importance of financial literacy is currently still low, especially in the millennial generation who are known to tend to be consumptive and do not have good financial management. In terms of financial planning and management, millennials have the characteristics of not saving/investing much, they prefer to seek experiences through traveling, buying gadgets, and expressing themselves through social media. So that the problems of the next millennial generation that will arise are spending that is greater than income, increasing loans and not being able to have a place to live because of unbalanced income and home mortgage costs. This makes it important to provide guidance on financial planning and management education for the millennial generation as mandated by the government through the Financial Services Authority. In addition, there is a need for an introduction to financial technology (fintech) for the millennial generation, because of the proximity of this generation to technology and practical principles. Fintech is one of the solutions in providing education and understanding of integrated financial products, as well as providing access for millennials to find out which financial planning products suit their needs. The target of this service is students or students of SMK Batam International School class 12 majoring in Accounting and Financial Institutions. This coaching was carried out on Friday and Saturday, February 15-16, 2019 at the Batam International School Vocational School, which is located at Rananta Shopping Complex Blok A No. 5-7 Legenda, Baloi, Batam Centre. The training participants were 18th graders majoring in Accounting and Informatics Engineering. Coaching is provided with methods of providing practical materials, concepts and tricks in preparing good finances, making financial plans/priorities in the future, and getting to know financial technology facilities that are easy to use today. The training participants were very enthusiastic because in addition to the material topics according to their majors, each training session was also provided with interesting games.

Abstract

This community service is carried out with the aim of being able to share the knowledge possessed with the students of SMK Kartini Batam City, Riau Islands. To be able to obtain the results of this devotion, the method used in this service is by providing service materials and providing training and assistance to the service participants. It is hoped that this service can have a positive effect on the students of SMK Kartini, Batam City, Riau Islands. The program target of the community service carried out is to refer to students so that they can take advantage of internet technology, especially blogs, as a bridge to build an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age. The activity was carried out at the pavilion of SMK Kartini running smoothly. The students followed the activity well, through a focused view attitude, a good listening attitude, it can be seen that students can understand the material presented by the devotees.

Abstract

Salah satu keunggulan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) adalah lulusannya siap kerja. Untuk itu mahasiswa harus dibekali dengan kemampuan keterampilan yang sesuai dengan perkembangan teknologi yang ada. Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, perkembangan teknologi digital yang sangat maju menyebabkan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan dituntut untuk mempersiapkan siswanya untuk beradaptasi dengan perkembangan yang ada. SMK Nizam al-Mulk Batam merupakan salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan produktif yang mengembangkan program studi baru yaitu Teknik Digital salah satu tujuannya, adalah untuk mempersiapkan siswa agar mempunyai ketrampilan memasuki dunia kerja. Kendala yang dihadapi SMK Nizam al-Mulk adalah mengikuti perkembangan teknologi digital terutama dari segi fasilitas peralatan dan kemampuan sumber daya manusia yang harus didorong dengan menjalin Kerjasama dalam bentuk pelatihan salah satunya dengan pelatihan bagaimana membuat dan menghitung komponen komponen gerbang logika dasar serta merancang menggunakan integrated circuit. Melalui Pelatihan pembuatan gerbang logika dasar menggunakan Integrated Circuit diharapkan dapat membantu kendala yang dihadapi SMK Nizam Al-Mulk agar permasalahan yang ada dapat teratasi dengan baik.

Abstract

The cost of circumcision which is starting to become unaffordable to the public and coupled with the outbreak of the most frightening virus, namely "covid 19" and also the desire to create a clean and healthy young generation, the devotees intend to hold activities with the intention of sharing with others, namely holding social service activities "Mass Circumcision". This circumcision from a religious point of view is mandatory and also from a medical point of view, it has many benefits including maintaining physical cleanliness and reducing the risk of infection and the educational values ​​contained in it. The method used is the method of mass circumcision in the residential neighborhood of Griya Batu Aji Asri Phases 1,2 and 3, Sungai Langkai Exit, Sagulung sub-district, Batam City. It turns out that circumcision has educational value, for example, basically circumcision teaches children to become adults. From a psychological point of view, the child feels that he is a Muslim and he is obliged to cover his aurat and cannot see the nakedness of others. the educational values ​​contained in circumcision for children's education lies in the important role of parents to do the following: (1) Instill shame in children. (2) Instilling the spirit of masculinity in boys and the spirit of femininity in girls. (3) Separate their beds. (4) Introduce visiting times (ask permission within 3 times). (5) Educate to maintain the cleanliness of the genitals. (6) Introducing the muhrim. (7) Educate children to always keep their eyesight. One of the efforts with the aim that every teenager can perform circumcision is to organize a mass social service circumcision. Moreover, from the practice of mass circumcision it is believed that many young people in Indonesia can be circumcised, so this is achieved to further develop the welfare status and great development of Indonesian children.

Abstract

The development of information technology is very rapid, one of which is the use of the internet for e-commerce and the use of hotspots. E-commerce has many benefits that are very likely to be realized currently. The implementation of community service activities for residents of Setengar village RT 05 RW 10 Tanjung Piayu by providing hotspot services as well as fostering the use of e-commerce and hotspot implementation aims to make residents have hotspot services and know and understand how to use e-commerce sites as a comparison reference. the price of an item or product. The specific target of the implementation of coaching in community service activities is that residents can take advantage of existing hotspot facilities to make online purchases from e-commerce sites, what are the steps for the shopping process and how to process transactions and what is needed when doing online shopping. The service team provides material and provides direct practice to coaching participants with the aim of all participants understanding the material presented by the service team. The process of implementing the activities will be carried out in several meetings by providing materials on the introduction of hotspots and how to install them and how to take advantage of hotspots and e-commerce. At each meeting the service team will evaluate and determine the sustainability of the coaching after the service activities that have been held for four meetings have been completed. The service team introduced the devices needed for hotspot installation, namely an access point router and provided installation training as well as introduced to residents some examples of the best and most trusted e-commerce sites, namely Bukalapak, Lazada, Tokopedia, OLX Indonesia, and elevenia.

Abstract

The development of information and technology causes fierce business competition, causing micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to be able to survive and compete for market share by implementing strategies, concepts and good management designs. Management is the key factor for success in the era of technology and information nowadays in order to create opportunities for its products. The purpose of this activity is to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, to compile IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Summer) and EFAS (External Factor Analysis Summer) and to find out a good marketing strategy after analyzing with SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat). The phenomenon that exists, MSME entrepreneurs facing fierce competition is marked by the proliferation of products from outside the region. This study uses the SWOT analysis method to identify the company's internal and external factors.

Abstract

The essential role of professional teacher in teaching and learning process is a key in achieving successful learning outcome. A professional teacher is a competent teacher who is able to build and develop good and effective teaching and learning process in order to create smart and good quality students. Based on the observation and previous study done by some experts, there are many teachers who still face difficulties in creating HOTS based Reading Assessment that can develop students higher thinking skills. So that, a workshop and training about HOTS’ based assessment of reading need to be deliver to teachers. This training and workshop was done in SMP N 33 Padang in 2 types of activity; the workshop about reading assessment and training of reading assessment of HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill) Based. This activity is very essential and helpful for teachers in order to enrich their knowledge about assessment of Reading based HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skill) Based optimizing literacy

Abstract

Abstract This community service is aimed to socialize the research result to the teachers especially at SMAN 16 Padang which deals with the importance of readability of texts and also share the information about how to count the readability of text by applying Flesch Kincaid Formula manually and also online. The reason of choosing SMAN 16 because they still get lack of information about how to choose a readable text. Therefore, they were difficult to find qualified teaching materials. Because of this reason, the team from English Departmen Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat wants to do community service about how to find readability of texts. The team used educative method. Based on the result of this program, the teachers are very satisfied with the information shared by the team. They also can use the formula well. However, this community service should be continued to make the teachers habit with this formula. Keywords: Readability, Textbook Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan hasil penelitian kepada guru SMAN 16 Padang terkait dengan pentingnya mengetahui keterbacaan sebuah teks dan juga pengabdian ini berbagi pengetahuan tentang cara menghitung keterbacaan sebuah teks dengan menggunakan rumus Flesch Kincaid baik secara manual dan online. Adapun alasan memilih sekolah ini adalah keterbatasan guru dalam memperolah informasi tentang keterbacaan sebuah teks, sehingga berdampak pada kualitas bahan ajar yang disajikan. Guru tidak mengetahui kalau teks yang diberikan kepada siswa sulit dipahami. Sehingga anak mengalami kesulitan dalam pembelajaran. Karena alasan ini, tim pengabdi dari Program Studi dari program studi pendidikan Bahasa Inggris Universitas PGRI Sumatera Barat mengadakan pengabdian masyarakat dengan menggunakan pendekatan edukatif. Hasil yang diperoleh sangat baik karena guru sangat antusias dengan informasi yang didapat. Namun demikian, kegiatan ini perlu dilanjutkan untuk membiasakan guru dengan penggunaan rumus-rumusnya.
