Abstract

Providing quality food needs is necessary to achieve the second goal of the SDG. Analysis of production forecasts of animal protein food sources in Central Java is needed to estimate the contribution of production to protein adequacy. This research is a descriptive time series qualitative research. The time series data used are broiler meat and egg production data, and population data for the period 2008-2022 in Central Java. Population estimates are carried out using geometry, geometry, while forecasts for the production of broiler chicken meat and eggs using Moving Average (MA) and Weighted Moving Average (WMA) methods with Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), Mean Squared Error (MSE) and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) indicators. Broiler meat and egg production were analyzed for their contribution to the protein adequacy rate. The results showed an increase in chicken meat and egg production from 2008 to 2022, in Central Java. The best forecasting method for chicken meat and egg production is the Weighted Moving Average (WMA) method. Analysis of forecasts for the production of chicken meat and eggs for three years, namely 2023-2025, shows that it will continue to increase which is related to the increase in population. The contribution of chicken meat and egg production in Central Java to the protein adequacy rate averaged 5% and 6%, respectively.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the relationship between iron sufficiency, folic acid, knowledge, and socioeconomic status and the incidence of anemia among pregnant women in East Landasan Ulin. This study was an analytic observational study using a cross-sectional design. This study was conducted in East Landasan Ulin from September 2022 to January 2023. A total of 19 pregnant women were selected as research samples using the total sampling method. Hb levels in pregnant women were obtained from the MCH book. Iron and folic acid intake data were collected through interviews using semi-quantitative FFQ. Knowledge and socioeconomic data were collected through interviews using a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using the Spearman rank test. All subjects (100%) had sufficient iron intake, sufficient folic acid intake (84%), sufficient knowledge (63%), sufficient education (74%), and sufficient family income (74%). The results of this study indicated that iron intake (p=0.223), folic acid intake (p=0.599), knowledge (p=0.612), education (p=0.209), and family income (p=0.630) were not associated with the incidence of anemia in pregnant women in East Landasan Ulin.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between nutritional status, diet quality, and frequency of isotonic drinks and anaerobic endurance in taekwondo Speed Club Wonosobo athletes. This research design is a cross-sectional study involving 28 subjects with a purposive sampling method. Data collection was done through direct measurement and interviews using a questionnaire. Most of the subjects’s nutritional status was classified as good nutrition (-0.63 SD). The fatigue index of the subjects was classified as non-fatigue (5.29 watts/second). The subjects’s diet quality (70.5%) was categorized in quartile 4 (>61.2%). On average, subjects drank isotonic drinks with occasional frequency (2-3 times a week). There was an unidirectional, moderately strong, and significant relationship between nutritional status and fatigue index (p<0.05), and there was an unidirectional, moderately strong, and significant relationship between diet quality and fatigue index (p<0.05), but the relationship between the frequency of isotonic drinks and fatigue index was not significant and very weak (p>0.05).

Abstract

Sleep is the body's mechanism to rest organs such as the digestive organs and brain. Insufficient sleep quality among students results in increased stress and anxiety levels, decreased physical fitness, fatigue, and decreased cognitive function, such as difficult concentration. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of sleep quality, energy intake, protein intake, fat intake, carbohydrate intake, vitamin C intake, and physical activity and their relationship with sleep quality in FKK UMJ students. This research design used a cross-sectional design with 83 subjects selected using the proportional stratified random sampling method. The research instrument used to measure sleep quality was the PSQI (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index) questionnaire, energy intake, macronutrient intake, and vitamin C intake were 2x24 hour food recall questionnaire, physical activity measurement was the PAL (Physical Activity Level) questionnaire. Statistical analysis using the chi-square test. The results showed there is no significant relationship between protein intake, fat intake, carbohydrate intake, vitamin C intake, and physical activity with sleep quality. There is a relationship between energy intake and sleep quality among FKK UMJ students (p<0.05).

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to analyze the relationship between nutritional intake and VO2 max futsal athletes (MAN 1 Pekanbaru). The research is a quantitative analytical approach with a cross-sectional research design. This study was conducted at MAN 1 Pekanbaru on March 8-12, 2023, with a total of 40 athletes obtained by the total sampling technique. Nutritional intake was obtained through food recall interviews 2x24 hours, nutritional status was obtained through height and weight measurements, and VO2 max data was obtained using the Multystage Fitness Test (MFT) method. The analysis used is univariate and bivariate with the Chi Square test and Fisher's exact test. The results of the univariate analysis obtained showed that 34 athletes (85%) had good energy intake, 27 athletes (67.5%) had good protein intake, 29 athletes (72.5%) had good nutritional status, and 17 athletes (42.5%) had good VO2 max. The results of the bivariate analysis showed no relationship between energy intake (p=0.17) with VO2 max, there were relationships between protein intake (p=0.006) and nutritional status (p=0.009) with VO2 max athletes. In conclusion, there was no relationship between energy intake and VO2 max and there were significant relationships between protein intake and nutritional status with VO2 max futsal athletes MAN 1 Pekanbaru. It was expected that athletes always consume healthy snacks (high energy and protein) and were able to meet the daily needs to achieve normal nutritional status and increase exercise intensity to achieve maximum VO2 max.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik PHBS serta hubungannya dengan konsumsi pangan dan status gizi baduta. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross-sectional dengan jumlah 66 baduta. Mayoritas ibu baduta memiliki pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik PHBS yang baik (87,9%, 86,4%, dan 63,6%). Sebanyak 39,4% ibu baduta memiliki persepsi yang baik terhadap lingkungan rumahnya, sedangkan sebagian besar lainnya (60,6%) memiliki persepsi lingkungan rumah sedang (60-79%). Tingkat kecukupan energi (84,6%AKE) tergolong kurang dari anjuran 100-<130%AKG, protein (193,2%AKG) dan lemak (158%AKG) tergolong lebih dari anjuran 100- <130%AKG, karbohidrat (115,6%AKG) baduta sudah sesuai dari anjuran 100-<130%AKG. Indikator Ever Breastfed (EvBF), Minimum Dietary Diversity (MMD), dan Minimum Meal Frequency (MMF) pada anak sudah memenuhi standar Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) practices yang dikeluarkan oleh WHO dan UNICEF (2021). Mayoritas subjek (84,8%) memiliki status gizi normal. Hasil uji Rank Spearman Correlation menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang nyata antara pengetahuan PHBS dengan sikap PHBS (p<0,05). Hasil uji hubungan menunjukkan tidak adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara konsumsi ASI, MP-ASI, pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik PHBS dengan status gizi baduta.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan asupan protein, serat dan natrium dengan kejadian hipertensi pada dewasa pertengahan 45-59 tahun (middle age) di Desa Palung Raya Kecamatan Tambang. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional yaitu dimana variabel independen (asupan protein, serat dan natrium) dan variabel dependen (hipertensi) diteliti secara bersamaan. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Maret-Mei 2023. Populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 143 orang dengan jumlah sampel 65 masyarakat usia 45-59 tahun yang dipilih secara random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner food recall 2x24 jam. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah univariat dan bivariat dengan uji Chi Square. Hasil analisa univariat diperoleh 63,1% responden memiliki asupan protein lebih, 55,4% responden memiliki asupan serat kurang, 55,4% responden memiliki asupan natrium tidak baik dan 43,1% responden menderita hipertensi. Hasil uji Chi Square menunjukkan ada hubungan antara asupan protein, serat dan natrium (p=0,000) dengan kejadian hipertensi pada dewasa pertengahan 45-59 tahun (middle age) di Desa Palung Raya, Kecamatan Tambang. Kesimpulan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara asupan protein, serat dan natrium dengan kejadian hipertensi pada dewasa pertengahan 45-59 tahun (middle age) di Desa Palung Raya Kecamatan Tambang. Berdasarkan penelitian ini diharapkan responden dapat meningkatkan asupan protein nabati serta asupan sayur dan buah.

Abstract

Hypertension is a condition in which systolic blood pressure ≥140 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure ≥90 mmHg. The risk factors for hypertension are age, family history, consumption of salty foods, consumption of saturated fat, lack of physical activity, obesity, and use of birth control pills. This study aimed to describe the knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to hypertension, sodium and potassium intakes in people with hypertension. This analytic observational study used a cross sectional design. This research was conducted at Puskesmas Kuaro, Paser Regency from January to April 2022. The population in this study were 223 people with hypertension. The respondents were 67 people selected using the purposive sampling method. Blood pressure was measured using a digital sphygmomanometer. Data regarding knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to hypertension were collected through interviews using questionnaires. Data concerning sodium and potassium intakes were collected through interviews using the semi-quantitative FFQ. The data were analyzed descriptively. Most of the respondents had good knowledge (80.6%), sufficient attitude (53.7%), sufficient practice (64.2%), sufficient sodium intake (68.7%), and insufficient potassium intake (76.1%).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the correlation between mother’s nutritional knowledge with the level of energy and protein adequacy among toddlers in Dramaga Sub-District, Bogor Regency. The design of this study was cross-sectional with 79 subjects selected by purposive sampling. Data was collected through interviews using questionnaires and recall 1x24 hours. This study was conducted in AugustNovember 2022 in Dramaga Sub-District, Bogor Regency. The results showed that there was no significant relationship between the level of mothers' nutritional knowledge and the level of energy and protein adequacy of toddlers in Dramaga District, Bogor Regency (p>0.05)

Abstract

Gizi lebih masih menjadi salah satu masalah gizi yang prevalensinya meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya gizi lebih adalah kelebihan asupan energi, termasuk asupan energi dari minuman berpemanis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan konsumsi sugar sweetened beverages dengan status gizi lebih pada remaja di Jakarta Selatan. Desain penelitian ini adalah cross sectional, dengan 80 responden remaja usia 16-18 tahun yang dipilih secara consecutive sampling. Data konsumsi sugar sweetened beverages diperoleh dari kuesioner BEVQ-15 (Beverage Questionnaire) selama satu bulan terakhir. Analisis uji hubungan menggunakan uji Rank Spearman. Sebaran responden berdasarkan status rasio lingkar pinggang pinggul (RLPP) pada subjek laki-laki dan perempuan sebanyak 40% responden tidak berisiko penyakit tidak menular (PTM) dan 60% responden memiliki risiko PTM. Frekuensi konsumsi sugar sweetened beverages pada jenis minuman softdrink sebesar 85,5% dan susu sebesar 100% pada responden yang berisiko. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan antara frekuensi konsumsi sugar sweetened beverages dengan RLPP responden yang mengonsumsi softdrink (p<0,05) dan susu (p<0,05). Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah ada hubungan antara konsumsi sugar sweetened beverages dengan RLPP pada remaja di Jakarta Selatan.
