Abstract

Makalah ini bertujuan untuk membahas model Moderasi Beragama berdasarkan ajaran Hinduisme Jawa Barat yang dipresentasikan oleh masyarakat Pura Satya Dharma Bandung. Untuk mendapatkan data terkait pertanyaan penelitian tersebut, makalah ini menggunakan metode wawancara dan observasi langsung. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, makalah ini menyimpulkan bahwa Moderasi Beragama sebagaimana dipraktikkan di Pura Satya Dharma Bandung berlandaskan ajaran Tri Hita Karana dan Twam Asi; Kedua ajaran ini sejatinya mengacu pada hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan, manusia dengan alam semesta atau lingkungan, serta hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain. Adapun relevansinya pada model Moderasi Beragama adalah oleh karena Moderasi Beragama merupakan suatu cara pandang atau konsep dalam beragama guna menciptakan sikap toleran dan tenggang rasa dengan berlandaskan keadilan dan keseimbangan dengan upaya mengajak para pemeluk agama untuk selalu mengambil posisi tengah dalam bertindak, tidak tertutup terhadap agama lain, serta membuka tangan secara lebar bagi seluruh umat beragama. Pada dasarnya, konsep moderasi beragama ini muncul sebagai salah satu solusi atas berbagai macam pertikaian yang kerap terjadi antarumat beragama, sehingga menimbulkan ketidakharmonisan dan meruntuhkan kedamaian. Meskipun kenyataannya, konflik sosial antarumat beragama ini tidak hanya disebabkan oleh masalah keagamaan, namun juga karena masalah politik, budaya, suku, dan lain sebagainya. Dengan demikian, berbagai macam agama yang ada tentu akan memberikan pandangan yang berbeda-beda terhadap konsep moderasi tersebut, termasuk Hinduisme yang sejatinya kaya akan ajaran norma dan perilaku. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut, makalah ini akan mendiskusikan pandangan dan sikap Hinduisme umat Pura Satya Dharma Bandung terhadap moderasi beragama dengan sejumlah argumentasi dan konsep ajaran yang mendukung.

Abstract

Novel Bumi Manusia merupakan salah satu novel dari tetralogi pulau Buru yang ditulis oleh Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Salah satu hal menarik dalam penulisan novel ini adalah Pramoedya banyak memasukan unsur – unsur perlawanan pribumi terhadap bangsa kolonial khusunya perempuan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana wacana sosok Nyai dikemas dalam novel Bumi Manusia dengan menggunakan analisis wacana kritis Norman Fairclough untuk menganalisis teks, praktik produksi teks, dan praktik sosial budaya. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode kualitatif yang memusatkan perhatian pada prinsip-prinsip umum yang mendasari perwujudan sebuah makna dari gejala-gejala sosial di dalam masyarakat dengan menggunakan paradigma kritis. Paradigma ini memandang bahwa bahasa tidak hanya sebagai alat untuk memahami realitas objektif belaka, tetapi perlu melihat maksud-maksud dari wacana tertentu. Paradigma kritis jauh lebih meneliti aspek sosial, sejarah, dan budaya dari wacana tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa di dalam novel Bumi Manusia, Pramoedya menggunakan sosok Nyai Ontosoroh sebagai tokoh yang melawan atas budaya – budaya bangsa Eropa. Sosok Nyai digambarkan memiliki visi dan pemikiran yang lebih kritis disbanding perempuan lainya. Pramoedya juga mengkritisi bahkan menolak unsur budaya feodal yang melekat di dalam budaya Jawa yang terus dilakukan di dalam keluarga Jawa.

Abstract

Digital painting merupakan salah satu kekaryaan baru dalam seni rupa dimana seniman melukis menggunakan perangkat digital seperti handphone, tablet, laptop atau komputer. Metode ini lumayan banyak digunakan dalam membuat sebuah karya dan desain. Salah satu kelebihan digital painting adalah seniman dapat membatalkan kesalahan pengerjaan tanpa harus mengganti media pengerjaannya. Salah satu software yang dapat digunakan dalam proses membuat digital painting adalah medibang paint. Medibang paint adalah salah satu aplikasi yang cukup terkenal di kalangan seniman digital. Tujuan dari penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui software medibang paint serta jenis tools yang ada didalamnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan memanfaatkan teknik dokumentasi. Sumber data diperoleh dari software Medibang paint sebagai sumber primer, dan penelusuran kepustakaan sebagai sumber sekunder. Hasilnya adalah medibang paint adalah software melukis secara digital yang didalam terdapat berbagai tool-tool. Kesimpulannya adalah Medibang Paint sebagai software yang dapat digunakan dalam proses pembuatan Digital Painting dengan pemanfaatan tool-tool yang tersedia dalam interfacenya dimana software ini dapat dipasang di berbagai gadget untuk memudahkan pengguna mengaksesnya.

Abstract

This research is aimed at identifying the linguistic level of the Indoglish phenomenon commonly used for communication in the industry 4.0 era, identifying the reasons for speakers when using Indoglish in social media, especially on Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok; and analyzing the impacts of its usage on the speakers. The data source in this study uses various forms of authentic tweets and captions that focus on the emergence of Indoglish in this era which was collected by note-taking and observation techniques. Then the data was analyzed and presented qualitatively using the theories proposed by Weinrich (1963) and Holmes (2013). The results of this research imply the forms of Indoglish linguistic level used for communication in social media, especially on Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok in three different levels, such as word level, phrase level, and clause/sentence level. Most teenagers in the 4.0 era use Indoglish language in their tweets or captions on social media to make them easier when conveying intentions for intimacy, developing closeness, affirm intentions, and expressing resentment. The impact of using this language in their communication would help them to develop their English abilities.

Abstract

Film is one of the communication media that is presented with audio visual and is able to influence the cognitive aspects of the audience. The Battle of Surabaya film is a form of 2D animated film, when examined in visual communication it contains messages of struggle and values ​​of heroism. This film tells about the battle that took place in the city of Surabaya on November 10, 1945. In the era of globalization, the attitude and spirit of heroism in the younger generation began to fade, so that through visual communication studies, the heroism of the film The Battle of Surabaya can be a reflection in building awareness for the next generation of the nation. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research. The researcher performed Roland Barthes' semiotic data analysis technique through two levels of significance by explaining denotative and connotative meanings related to the study of visual communication in the 2D animated film The Battle of Surabaya. As for the findings in this study, the Battle of Surabaya, when examined in visual communication, heroism contains the meaning of the five principles of heroism. Referring to Roland Barthes's semiotics found related to sensitivity and concern for the motherland, sincerity to help others as shown by Yumna being a volunteer, love for the motherland which is shown visually with the national spirit in raising the red and white flag and lowering and tearing up the colonial flag. Sacrifices were made willingly to lose relatives, property and objects in order to defend the sovereignty of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. This patience and unity is visually demonstrated by the unity of the people of Surabaya in expelling the Dutch allies.

Abstract

This research discusses Delarative sentence speech act that used by Nadiem Makariem Speech. The research aims to find out forms and functions of communication speech acts used by Nadiem Makariem in his speech. The research focused on Yule’s theory about declarative speech act. The data of this research use qualitative descriptive method. The result shows that 22 (twenty-two data). There are 21 (twenty-one) declarative speech act, 15(fifteen) form of declarative speech act, and 11 (eleven) statement found in Nadiem Makariem’s speech. So it can be concluded that the dominant form of declarative is declarative and function of communication is statement. So this speech contained declarative and statement. Declarative form is dominant in Nadiem Makarie’s speech often used statement the speaker offers it view world has they understand it.

Abstract

The people of Subi Island, Natuna Regency still have confidence in objects that are sacred by themselves. Almost all of the people of Subi Island still have faith in sacred objects, although at this time the people's way of thinking has begun to open, but on the one hand, the way of thinking that has been opened earlier, they still strongly believe in the supernatural in things. Therefore, the researcher raised the title of public trust in sacred objects with the formulation of the problem of how the public views the phenomenon. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The informant determination technique used is purposive sampling with the criteria of informants, namely traditional leaders, village heads, people who have lived permanently on the island of Subi for 40 years, people who have not received education, people who are graduates, people who know stories about sacred objects, and the number of people who know about sacred objects. 8 informants. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation with data sources, secondary data and primary data. With data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of his research are that there are 4 public trusts in sacred objects, the sacred tok lile, the sacred blood of putig tomb, the sea, and the huntan. The reason people believe in these sacred objects is because the first one is entrusted to them by their ancestors/ancestors. Trust from ancestors/ancestors that are recognized and obligatory for the community to believe in it. Where the Malay people are still thick with existing customs and then are still steadfast and obedient to their ancestor's deposit. Second, the parent's deposit. Parents play an important role in the child's growth process. As a Malay, the people of Pulau Subi feel that something is missing when they cannot follow or carry out the advice of their parents. Third, it has existed for a long time so it is difficult to get rid of it. Belief in sacred objects is preserved by the community so that it has become a habit in their lives. This belief has become part of their culture and is difficult to let go of.

Abstract

This research departs from the background of the Nagari Padang Laweh Government implementing the Direct Cash Assistance program to help the community's economy. The Direct Cash Assistance Program is given to people who are the target recipients of BLT, according to Permendes and Pernag. The problem of this research is how the Nagari Government realizes the Cash Direct Assistance Fund and whether it is following the rules set by the Central Government. The purpose of the study was to find out how the Realization of Direct Cash Assistance Funds in Helping the Community Economy During the Covid-19 Pandemic In Nagari Padang Laweh, Sungai Tarab District, Tanah Datar Regency. This qualitative research uses a descriptive approach, and data collection techniques used by the author are interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants in this study amounted to 12 people. Then the data is analyzed through data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusions. The result of this research is that there are three indicators in the realization of the Cash Direct Aid Fund. First is the process of making it real, in which data collection is carried out by the target community of the assistance recipient. Second, the realization of the BLT program has several obstacles, namely the Nagari Government's inaccuracy in funds. Several procedures must be met in disbursing funds. Third, the actual implementation of the Direct Cash Assistance program regarding the timeliness depends on the Village Fund that goes into the Nagari account. In this real implementation, the achievement of the program has been achieved because the Beneficiary Families feel helped by the existence of this Cash Direct Assistance Program.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how social networks are built in the Subuhan biker community, as well as what are the external and internal factors that strengthen the Subuhan biker network. The theory used in this study is Fukuyama's social network theory, to see how social networks exist in the Subuhan biker community. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Research informants were selected using a purposive sampling technique and in collecting data used observation and in-depth interview techniques. This study found that there are two forms of social networks in the Subuhan biker community. The first is a social network based on interests. The dawn bikers community is a motorcycle community that is religious in nature where people from all walks of life can join the community. Both social networks are based on emotional ties. Starting from their love for motorcycles while preaching, then developed into a desire to introduce their community to the public, that this motorcycle community has a different purpose from other motorcycle communities. into two, namely internal and external factors, internal factors that influence, namely the existence of the same motives, strong solidarity and group norms, while the external factor is the existence of cooperation with the government.

Abstract

Nandung oral tradition is one of the oral traditions in the city of Rengat, Indragiri Hulu regency, in the province of Riau. Nandung used to be sung by mothers who wanted to put their children to sleep in the crib. The content of nandung poem is about religious education, parental love, education and nurture, noble character and advice. The aim of this study was to learn about the genesis of the oral Nandung tradition, understand the differences in the oral Nandung tradition in Rengat City, and understand the Nandung oral tradition of Talang Mamak tribe, how the development of Nandung oral tradition in modern times, find out what efforts should be made to maintain Nandung oral tradition and preserve Nandung oral tradition so that it does not experience a shift and knowledge of the process of implementation and implementation of the oral tradition of Nandung itself. The author uses qualitative research methods because in the research the author will interact directly with residents of Rengat City and see first-hand the process of implementing the Nandung Oral tradition. Data collection techniques were performed through observation, interviews and documentation studies. The results of this study explain that at present, the oral tradition of Nandung has undergone a shift that has led to the fact that the oral tradition of Nandung has been forgotten by the people of Rengat City, due to very rapid technological developments. Therefore, efforts by the government, customs and education are needed to preserve the oral Nandunt tradition so that it continues to be recognized by the people of Rengat City.
