Abstract

Antenna is one of important thing in the networking telecommunication system without the cable, diffirent of frequency range is need a tool of antenna which the different to that available with necessary of frequency is used. A problem has appear that needed a antenna dual band which can operate in the diffirent of frequency range. The research was made a design antene dual band microstrip monopole model with the rectangular ring shape in the patch part, adding the slot in square ring part and slot in the channel transmission, with the miniaturisasi antenna shape for the result of diffirent of frequency range which the diffirent between 3,4 GHz and 5,2 GHz so the antene could operated dual band and would been used for the network application WiMAX and WLAN. Design antenna was used material Roger Duroid 5880, substrate 36 mm x 26 mm, , Wg =26 mm, Lg=11 mm, W=22,5 mm, L=19 mm, width ring (a,b) = 3 mm, distance between side ring (c)=14 mm, distance between up and bottom ring (d)=16,5 mm, high channel transmision (Lf)=11,5 mm, width channel transmision (Wf)=3 mm, width slot channel transmision (sb)=1 mm, high slot channel transmision (sa)=8,5 mm, slot lenght s1= 6 mm, slot lenght s1q=3 mm, slot lenght s2=9,5 mm, slot lenght s2a=7,5 mm. Programming and simulation was used HFSS 13. The simulation used HFFS obtained antenna worked in the frequency was 3,4 GHz and 5,2 GHz, refelction factor was -32,97 dB and -18,12 dB, VSWR ≤ 2, bandwidth 5,88% and 3,84%. Result of measuring with used the Vector Network Annalyzer (VNA) ZVL 13 showed antenna worked in the frequency was 3,1 GHz and 4,7 GHz, refelction factor was -32,94 dB and -18,22 dB, VSWR ≤ 2, bandwidth 22,58% dan 8,51%.

Abstract

This study aimed to know: 1)the suitability of student competence in conventional school between business field and industry (DU/DI) 2) To know the competence which was needed DUDI toward Conventional School. 3) To know range of suitability graduate student competence in Conventional School with DUDI. 4) To know the standardization of facilities and infrastructure as required by DUDI. This study used descriptive method by using survey. The object of this study wasstudents in Conventional School which had selected in TKJ’s program in Cirebon Regency. Based on the finding data, there were found several things as follows: 1) Competence SMK’s graduate in the field of expertise TKJ were still not absorbed in DUDI. 2) School facilities and infrastructure were still inadequate for the effectiveness of student learning. 3) Teachers were still had lack experience in DUDI especially in the work process. 4) The school was still not followed DUDI development in Computer and Network field. The result of this studywascompetenceof SMK’s graduates in TKJ was reached 81,95 The required level of competence DUDI reaches 66%, the level of standardization of infrastructure facilities in the school against DUDI reached 61.11%.

Abstract

Moving water holds enormous natural energy. The energy that water has can be used as a drive for waterwheels or water turbines. The use of waterwheels can be used as the initial driver of the pump. Where the pump will raise water from the river to the higher ground. In Cipager village, Cirebon district has a Cipager river that has a heavy flow. With such river conditions, the energy owned by the Cipager River can be used to move the waterwheel which is then used as the initial driver of the pump. Without using electricity, villagers can use pumps to raise water from the river to higher ground. So that water needs can be met both for irrigating rice fields or fulfilling daily needs. The use of waterwheel as the initial drive of the pump needs good design and adapted to the conditions of the river flow. Data on the Cipager river condition with a flow velocity of 2.027 m / s and flowrate of 1850 L / s. for the design criteria selected undershot waterwheel. It was obtained for the size of the pinwheel design, 80 cm diameter, 12 cm blade length, 10 cm blade width with flat blade shape, 2 mm thick steel plate material and 2 mm shaft material. The windmill rotation was obtained at 48.34 rpm, the wheel power was 197.882 watts and the wheel weight was 58.8 N. While the power of the wheel used to drive the pump was only 5.18% of the total power of the windmill produced

Abstract

Programable logic control (PLC) is a versatile microprocessor control designed to meet practical demands in industry such as in the automatic field. In the automatic field serves as a substitute for an electro mechanical system that is to replace a series of series of relays found in conventional process control systems. Therefore, in this thesis, a research on Design (PLC) Programable Logic Controller Based on PIC16F877 Microcontroller as Learning Media has been conducted. This Micro PLC consists of a minimum system PIC16F877 microcontroller circuit. Micro PLC testing only takes a few sample cases such as I / O (input output) testing of logic gates, counter testing and timer testing. How to upload a ladder diagram to a micro PLC via a computer using the K150 programmer and Microbrn software to upload the program to a micro PLC so that the input and output modules can work according to the ladder diagram programming that has been made. From the results of micro PLC testing can be used as a PLC learning media

Abstract

Listrik merupakan salah satu komoditi strategis dalam perekonomian Indonesia, karena selain digunakan secara luas oleh masyarakat terutama untuk keperluan penerangan, listrik juga merupakan salah satu sumber energi utama bagi sektor industri. Susut energi pada jaringan merupakan masalah utama PT. PLN (Persero) Distribusi Jawa Barat dan banten Rayon Majalengka. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk menurunkan susut adalah memperbaiki jaringan yang ada dan menekan susut non teknis akibat pencurian listrik. Energi listrik yang hilang dalam perjalanan penyaluran energi listrik baik di saluran transmisi maupun ditsribusi disebut dengan rugi-rugi atau susut enrgi teknis. Sedangkan susut energi non teknis berkaitan dengan pengukuran energi listrik di sisi pelanggan. Besar susut teknis pada penyulang Jatiwangi adalah 195,01 kW, sedangkan besar susut non teknisnya adalah 445, 96 kW. Susut tahunan pada Penyulang Jatiwangi adalah 3.505.541,85 kWh. Perbaikan Losses dengan cara menaikan tegangan 1 kV didapatkan arus sebesar 214,89 ampere yang sebelum nya adalah 225 Ampere. Perbaikan Losses pada jaringan SUTM Susut konduktor berkurang sebanyak 29,77 kW yang sebelumnya adalah sebesar 161,27 kW.

Abstract

Technological developments are so rapid in various fields, one of which is in the field of education. Nowadays we can get information, news, knowledge with the internet. In education, increasing knowledge is very important, with the internet we can get the latest scientific knowledge information from journals, modules, digital books from various parts of the world with just a gatget or laptop. To support these activities, it must be with good technology infrastructure, if the ratio between users and infrastructure is not balanced, conges will occur, where the available bandwidth cannot cover users who are connected to the internet, resulting in slow connections. Currently the WIFI network infrastructure at the University of 17 August 1945 Cirebon needs additional access points and additional bandwidth, because when user is connected to WIFI network increase conges occur, and there are several places that are far from the access point location. in network design there are two modeling were used that calculation of bandwidth capacity based on the number of users with three scenarios aksess speed of 0.5 Mbps, 1 Mbps, 2 Mbps and spacious area. The results obtained from modeling based on user capacity, the required access speed of 141.2 Mbps, 282 Mbps and 565 Mbps.The results obtained are calculated based on the user's capacity, the number of access points is 25 Ap and 14 Ap on the calculation based on the area.

Abstract

Terdapat aktivitas pertambangan yang memicu degradasi lingkungan di wilayah utara Kecamatan Cikalongkulon, tepatnya di Desa Mekarsari dan Desa Mekargalih. Hal tersebut terindikasi lewat penurunan kualitas alam, terjadinya longsor, tegakan tumbuhan yang mengalami pengurangan, abrasi, erosi, meningkatnya kekeruhan air, serta sedimentasi saluran dan sungai. Analisa yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendugaan dampak lingkungan, analisis identifikasi dampak potensial, serta analisis lokasi terkena dampak. Hasil analisa menunjukkan perubahan kualitas lingkungan di kedua desa, yakni penurunan kualitas dan kuantitas air bersih, terputusnya beberapa sumber air, penurunan kandungan oksigen dalam air, tanah tidak subur, pencemaran air sungai, dan penurunan hasil dan kualitas panen padi. Hasil identifikasi dampak penting dalam penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar kegiatan tambang memperhatikan dampak terhadap kondisi alam di sekitarnya. Perusahaan tambang dapat mengambil langkah dalam reklamasi, reboisasi, dan upaya pemulihan kesuburan tanah dengan menebar vegetasi di top soil.

Abstract

In electrical systems, safety is the main factor, but it is often overlooked because it is quite expensive. The current conventional outlet, although it has been standardized by the Indonesian national standard, is a fact in the field that there are still many incidents of electric shock, because the voltage continues to flow through the copper terminals inside the plastic frame protector. This incident can occur because the terminal is plugged into a conducting object such as a fork, spoon, iron rod, or held directly with a finger. For this reason, in this study, a safety system is made that uses the main component of the Relay as an intermediary for DC voltage and AC voltage. Trials carried out 50 times on each socket box resulted in solving the problem by conditioning the plug that had not been plugged into the terminal so that there was no voltage flowing into the outlet, this certainly distinguishes safety from using an ELCB which must have contact with the human body first.

Abstract

This research is using experimental method. The materials used are epoxy and hardener and the reinforcing material is shellfish powder which will later be varied with a 40,60,100 mesh sieve and raw material (sliding pad) as a comparison. Mechanical tests that will be carried out are wear tests, hardness tests and microstructure tests. The results of the wear test showed that the wear value of the raw material (sliding pad) was 4.07x〖10〗^(-5) mm^3/kg, the 40 mesh sieve was 0.93x〖10〗^(-5) mm^3/kg , the result of 60 mesh sieve is 1.11x〖10〗^(-5) mm^3/kg, the result is 100 mesh 1x〖10〗^(-5) mm^3/kg. The results of the raw material (sliding pad) hardness test are 4.42 HB, the results of 40 mesh sieve are 16.62 HB, the results are 60 mesh sieves 15.58 HB, the results of 100 mesh sieves are 15.92 HB. In the wear test, the highest wear value is raw material (sliding pad) 4.07x〖10〗^(-5) mm^3/kg and the lowest is a 40 mesh shell powder composite 0.93x〖10〗^(-5 ) mm^3/kg. While the hardness test which has the highest hardness value is 40 mesh16.62HB and the lowest is raw material (sliding pad) 4.42 HB. The microstructure test for hole defects (pores) is mostly 40 mesh shellfish powder composite and the one that has no hole defects (pores) is raw material (sliding pad).

Abstract

EDM machinery is currently growing, many small industries rely on EDM machines, especially in the design of molds and dies. The variation of electrodes on the EDM Singking machine greatly affects the results of roughness and taper in the process of making Dies, in order to produce a smooth product and the lowest taper value. The method used is an experiment using the MP-50 EDM machine by varying the electrode material of Copper, aluminum, and Carbon, the workpiece using ST 60 steel is sought for the results of the surface roughness and the smallest hole taper for the manufacture of ring bolt Dies. The results showed that the variation of electrode material (Copper, Aluminum, Carbon) greatly affects the surface roughness and hole taper in the EDM process. This is evidenced by the surface roughness values ​​of Copper=5.755µm, Aluminum=5.039µm, Carbon=8.218µm. The results of the hole taper test on Copper=0.667º, Aluminum=1.851º, Carbon=0.687º. Then from the results of the 3 electrodes, the smoothest level of surface roughness and the smallest hole taper will be determined to make ST60 steel bolt Diesring
