Abstract

In Indonesia there are a lot of distinctive traditional music arts, one of them is Sumbawa traditional music. Sumbawa traditional music is a rich Sumbawa culture with a rhythm represented in temung (type of punch), both temung found in the pond, tambourine and palompong. The traditional music recognition system is one step that can be done in preserving one of the cultures in Sumbawa . The introduction of Sumbawa music can be done using an Android-based application. This study aims to (1) facilitate the Sumbawa native people and people outside Sumbawa to get to know the Sumbawa culture, and (2) preserve the Sumbawa culture which is a cultural heritage. This research uses prototype software development method and is built using Android Studio and SQlite database targeting android version 5.0 (Lollipop). The data collection method uses literature study techniques with Sumbawa Musician sources and uses the beta testing method which is a test conducted by testing the software in terms of functionality. The results of the study are the Android-Based Sumbawa Regional Song Collection Application that can be accessed through the Play Store equipped with select songs, information and about the application so that it can contribute to the music culture of Sumbawa (Samawa Songs).

Abstract

This study aims to build a ticket booking management application that can help improve service and operator performance in serving ticket reservations at PO. Panca Sari Tour and Sumbawa Travel. The software development method used in this research is the prototype method. For tools in application design using Unified Modeling Language (UML) and applications are built using web-based programming languages. Research results have been submitted to PO. Panca Sari Tour and Sumbawa Travel to facilitate operators in monitoring departure schedules with the number of seats still available, searching passenger data, viewing booking details and updating passenger data so that ticket booking management can improve customer service performance.

Abstract

An Egg hatching matchine using hybrid technology which is a combination of solar heat and electrical energy is designed to utilize solar thermal energy so as to reduce the amount of electricity used. The design of this egg incubator includes (1) general system design which includes LM35 temperature sensor, SHT11 temperature and humidity sensor, several lamps and fans, and lyquid crystal dysplay; (2) mechanical design includes the design of electrical installations and wire mesh placed in such a way in a rectangular and glass-enclosed container; and (3) software design includes programs that are used to control the system. From the test results during the process from the beginning to the end of the test it turns out that the condition of the equipment is still normal and there are no significant disturbances, so that the egg incubator is ready to be applied in automatic hatching that is as expected.

Abstract

A comparative analysis of the pulse test error and the single-phase semi-electronic kWh register meter test was performed. This research is motivated by the amount of time required by the register to display the amount of power consumption must have the same value as the time used to produce the output power of n pulses. The method used in this study is to compare the test time obtained from the blinking of n pulses and the time taken to move the register for n nonius scale with standard time (time obtained from the stopwatch). This study uses a power factor close to 1 using incandescent lamps. The results of the time difference of the pulse test and register test on the research of single-phase electronic phase kWh meter Saint brand with serial number 50579456 using chaosuda stopwatch is 0,13% and 0,18% for Smartphone Stopwatch.

Abstract

PT. XX is one of the largest copper company in the world. Chalcopyrite (CuFeS2), bornite (Cu5FeS3) and pyrite (FeS2) are three major minerals in PT. XX is capable to produce about 2000 tons of concentrate per day, with design of processing capacity around 120,000 tonnes per day. To obtain grade Cu concentrates, an integrated method of extraction metallurgy (metal extraction) is usually carried out, so that this study focused on increasing low consentrate grade Cu, using lime and increasing pyrite content using the flotation method by varying pH and varying the dose of sodium metabisulfite. This is indicated by the percentage of Cu grade of 12.74%, the use of lime shows the percentage reduction of 50% and the decrease in pyrite to reach a percentage of 1.16%. Of the three variations of the SMB, namely no reagent, 150 and 300 in this study, 300 is a good dose in increasing grade Cu, reducing lime use and reducing pyrite content.

Abstract

PT XX is one of the largest copper companies in the world. There are 2 main minerals spread in PT XX, namely copper (Cu) and Gold (Au). With a processing capacity of 120,000 tons per day, PT XX is able to produce around 2000 tons of concentrate per day. There are several problems in processing, including decreasing the acquisition of grade and recovery of copper and gold because the gold content is still covered in impurities. The sample used is derived from cleaner, namely Polishing mill produck. This study aims to see the effect of grinding time on Au recovery and grade concentrate and see the effect of Max Gold and Pax reagents on recovery of Au and Au grade. The method used is grinding and flotation. The grinding process varies 0, 5 and 10 minutes and flotation using reagents and max gold, based on the results of the study it was found that the smaller the particle size with 10 minutes grinding using the pax reagent the grade and recovery gain increased for grade 6.62 ppm and recovery 84.7%.

Abstract

Reclamation carried out by PT. AMNT in the Katala area of 8.14 hectares consists of 2 parts covering part 1 namely areas A, B and C and part 2 namely areas A and B. In designing the geometry of the mine slope, Geotechnical Engineer should optimize the steepness of the mine slope because this is very affect the stability of a slope. The focus of this study examines influence the slope geometry design on the stability of the slope under the existing conditions in parts 1 areas A and B and 5 slope variation models are added. The purpose of this study was to obtain the value of safety factor using the Fellenius method used GeoStudio 2018 sub-program Slope / W to be recommended as consideration data in analyzing the stability of special slopes in the Batu Hijau mine reclamation activity. The results obtained by the safety factor value in section 1 area A for the existing conditions is 2.483, the variation models I to V obtained successive results of 1.670, 1,297,1,250, 1,041, 0,687, then in section 1 area B obtained the value of the safety factor for the existing conditions is 2,373, variation models I to V are 1,585, 1,254, 1,230, 1,003 0,651. while the manual analysis obtained the value of the safety factor in section 1 area A for existing conditions of 2,410, the variation models I to V successively amounted to 1.576, 1.253, 1.187, 1.020 0.608. In section 1 area B, the safety factor values for the existing conditions is 2,311, the variation models I to V are 1,506, 1,246, 1,182, 0,964 0,587.

Abstract

Plastic is one of the most commonly used materials today. However, the continuous use of plastic has the potential to cause problems in the future. Because, plastic waste takes a very long time to be able to decompose on the ground. If it is dumped on the ground, it will damage groundwater and soil quality. Therefore, plastic waste must be managed properly, so as not to damage the environment. On the other hand, Sumbawa Island is one of the biggest corn-producing islands in Indonesia. It is unfortunate if the waste in the form of corncobs is not utilized properly. In addition to the problem of plastic and corncob waste, Indonesia also has problems with geographic areas. The problem of this research is how to utilize plastic waste and corncob waste into earthquake resistant building blocks. So, it is expected to be able to replace bricks, bricks, or furniture in order to minimize environmental damage. The data needed in this study were obtained from several scientific papers related to this research. From these data then analyzed to obtain the right formula for making composite bricks and testing. Tests conducted on this product are specific gravity, water absorption, and heat resistance. As a comparison, hebel is also included in each test.

Abstract

Fatigue in lecturers can have an impact on reducing work productivity and decreasing work concentration. The purpose of this study was to determine the feeling of work fatigue experienced by Regular Lecturers in the Faculty of Engineering-Sumbawa University of Technology and to determine the relationship of perception of work fatigue based on the factors causing work fatigue in the Regular Lecturers in the Faculty of Engineering-Sumbawa University of Technology. From these objectives this study looks at the relationship between the variables Dependent (Age, Working Period, Workload and Body Mass Index) with Independent variables (Work Fatigue). The method used is quantitative, namely using a statistical test that is Chi-Square with data analysis using two, namely Univariate and Bivariate. The sampling technique uses Exhausive Sampling with 39 respondents. Then the data collection of work fatigue uses the Work Fatigue Measurement Questionnaire (KAUPK2). The results of this study are 27 Regular Lecturers feel work fatigue with the category of thirsty throat. The perception of fatigue is still below 50%, so it can be concluded that there is no perception of fatigue experienced by regular lecturers in the Faculty of Engineering, Universitity Technology of Sumbawa. Then, from the four dependent factors that were tested with independent factors, the results were work period, body mass index and work load that had a relationship with work fatigue in the regular lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering, University Technology of Sumbawa.

Abstract

Mead is a sweet and thick food containing gold to chocolate with high sugar content and low fat. But mead farmers have a mead squeeze process, because mead farmers in Sumbawa still use traditional methods. Related to this at the time of extortion and comfort of mead farmers. Furthermore, a mead squeezer machine is needed as a solution to improve the work process of mead farmers in producing quality mead water. The press from this automatic mead-squeezer produces mead water that is not mixed with the residue of the residual nest. This extortion process takes a short amount of time to squeeze meadcombs with a capacity of 3 kg in just 10 minutes. At this time meadcomb dregs are stuck to the walls of the filter and do not come mixed with mead water depending on the filter hole which is very small and neat. This extortion process uses an electric motor with a rotation of 1400 RPM as a drive or filter player that is transmitted by the van-belt.
