Al-Quran is the word of Allah from the sky which must be grounded as a guide from Allah to His servants. Al-Qur'an which contains text makes some of its readers refer to the text and meaning literally and without including asbabun nuzul or the reasons for the revelation of a verse or al-Qur'anic text in their interpretation. Outside the text there are events that cause the revelation of a verse or asbabun nuzul. Some classical scholars place more emphasis on textual interpretations while contemporary scholars see the need to combine asbabun nuzul and contexts which are relatively abreast of the times. Some other groups see the need for contestual development to give birth to new ideas related to muamalah and law. A separate problem is combining textual and contextual with asbabun nuzul references. This study uses the literature review method, namely research carried out using literature in the form of books, notes and reports on the results of previous research, by reading, studying and recording various literature or reading materials that are in accordance with the subject matter, then filtered and outlined in a theoretical frame of mind . And the results of this study are that maqashidu sharia or the aim of sharia is to be a solution or middle ground for the problems above. It becomes glue for textual verses that have different contexts, in order to answer problems in a dynamically changing society.

Literal textual knowledge that may emerge while comprehending the Koran can lead up to anarchic, intolerant, and harmful conduct. This article discusses the interpretation of Al-Qur'an Surah Al-Hajj Verses 39-41 from the perspective of da'wah education. The approach employed is comparative analysis (muqarin). The research findings reveal that, according to the Qur'an, war is allowed in order to defend oneself, religion, and nation. However, because of its Islamic origin, it promotes peace above conflict or violence. The Al-Quran also makes it clear that Islamic connections with the outside world are founded on peace. However, under specific situations, Islam permits for combat.

Scholars and preachers are nevertheless capable of intellectual arrogance. The purpose of this essay is to disclose a study of the interpretation of verses that discuss Intellectual Arrogance and how the answers are presented in the Qur'an. The approach employed is the method of comparative interpretation (muqarin), which derives from authoritative commentary books, and includes both history-based (bi al-matsur) and ratio-based (bi al-ra'yi) interpretations. This research's findings suggest that the Qur'an contains a study of intellectual arrogance, which is a terrible character to avoid. Apart from that, it gives instruction and ways to overcome intellectual arrogance. The study's findings also promote scientific ideals and morality in Indonesian Muslim academics, including preachers so that they can behave properly and proportionally in the world of academia and preaching.

The narrative of Luqman al-Hakim in the Al-Quran provides numerous wise insights. It includes monotheism, the myth of a noble parent, and rules and processes for relating to family and the larger community. The goal of this study is to comprehend the character values included in Al-Qur'an Luqman's letter and how they might be applied to pupils. The research method employed is qualitative, using library research. Content analysis techniques are used in data analysis. Inductive qualitative data analysis is characterized by the development of a relationship pattern or a hypothesis based on the data acquired. Documentation from the Qur'an, as-Sunnah, books, otoritative books, journals, and encyclopedias served as the study's instruments. The finding shows that the values of character education contained in Surah Luqman verses 12-19 cover three aspects, namely aqidah education, sharia education, and moral education.

The purpose or target of da'wah (mad'u) is almost always fragmented, both among Muslims and non-Muslims. This article seeks to explore the opinions of Thomas McElwain, an expert on Hebrew and Semitic Studies, on da'wah verses in the context of the book's people. The method employed is concept analysis via content analysis with a textual approach. The study findings indicate that the idea of the root of da'wa is a manifestation of varied editorial perceptions of al-Quran verses and the diversity of synonyms for the term "dakwah" in the context of interpretation. McElwain's thematic approach is strengthened by his understanding and experience engaging with the non-moslem, Ahl al-Kitab. Additionally, the five basic points of preaching to Ahl al-Kitab are important notions that must be taken into account in each da'wah circumstance.

The desacralization of the Aswaja doctrine (Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah) among Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) is a phenomenon that occurs in the context of the development and transformation of religious thought in Indonesia. NU, as one of the largest Islamic organizations in Indonesia, has a strong religious tradition based on Islamic teachings that follow the Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah tradition. In recent years, there has been a shift in the way of thinking and interpretation of religious teachings within NU circles, especially among NU kiai or ulama. The desacralization of the Aswaja doctrine refers to the separation between religious aspects and cultural or traditional aspects related to religious practices. This is reflected in a more inclusive da'wah approach, in which the understanding of the Aswaja doctrine is no longer considered the only correct path, but is understood as one of the valid interpretations within a variety of Islamic thought. This change can also be seen in the educational approach at NU's pesantren, where there is an emphasis on teaching that is more contextual, critical, and a broader understanding of Islam, as well as an understanding that respects differences and dialogue between religions. In conclusion, the desacralization of the Aswaja doctrine among NU is a phenomenon indicating a change in religious thinking and interpretation among kiai and ulama.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa upaya penyelesaian trust issue dalam rumah tangga dengan pendekatan komunikasi. Salah satu problematika dalam rumah tangga di Indonesia adalah tingkat perceraian yang tinggi, penyebabnya karena munculnya trust issue dalam rumah tangga mereka. Penyebab munculnya trust issue atau sikap sulit percaya diantaranya karena jarang berkomunikasi secara intim dengan pasangannya, lebih mendengarkan orang lain dibandingkan pasangan sendiri. Bila permasalahan ini dibiarkan berlarut-larut, maka menimbulkan konflik antar suami istri yang berefek pada perceraian. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, berjenis penelitian lapangan, dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada dua pendekatan komunikasi yang dapat dilakukan untuk menyelesaikan konflik pada pasangan suami istri, yakni: pendekatan komunikasi melalui konsoliasi dan pendekatan komunikasi melalui musyawarah.

Abstract The marriage age requirement after Law No. 16 of 2019 concerning Marriage was passed became 19 years for prospective husbands or wives resulting in an increase in filings for marriage dispensation at the Religious Courts. From 2019 until now, requests for dispensation for underage marriages in Indonesia continue to grow every year. The increase in the problem of underage marriages occurred during the Covid-19 pandemic, it was women who experienced many underage marriages. The purpose of the authors to carry out this research is to find out the dispensation of marriage according to the Marriage Law, the Child Protection Law and in a review of maqÄshid al-sharÄ«'ah. This type of research is a qualitative-descriptive analysis. Data collection was carried out using library research using the documentation method in the form of tracking documents in the form of journals, books, and online media that correlated with the research focus. The results of this study found that the dispensation of marriage in the Marriage Law and legislation in Indonesia is strictly regulated through a trial mechanism in court to obtain a permit. The judge's considerations in determining the Dispensation of Marriage, among others, refer to maqÄshid al-shari'ah, namely to maintain religion, soul, property, lineage, and reason.
