Madani : jurnal pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan jurnal yang memiliki ruang lingkup di bidang hasil-hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Dalam berjalannya waktu pada tahun 2020, Madani : jurnal pengabdian kepada masyarakat berpindah penerbit dari Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis menjadi Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat UPN Veteran Jakarta. Dengan demikian, proses tata kelola jurnal beralih dan diperkuat terbitnya ISSN oleh LIPI dengan SK 0005.27235335/JI.3.1/SK.ISSN/2020.08 nomor 2723-5335 (Online - Elektronik). Pada tahun 2021 menjadi program prioritas dari LPPM UPNVJ dengan fokus terakreditasi di tahun 2023. Dengan dasar itu, LPPM UPNVJ melibatkan tim editor dan tim reviewer yang memiliki kapasitas dalam mendukung madani sebagai jurnal terakreditasi nasional. Beberapa perangkat pendukung juga sudah disiapkan antara lain, adanya plagiarism check dalam proses peer review, kemudian berlangganan grammarly bagi artikel yang dikirimkan menggunakan bahasa inggris, lalu menggunakan DOI dengan penerbit LPPM UPNVJ. Dari beberapa item tersebut, menjadi bagian manajemen mutu bagi jurnal. Kami harapkan kondisi bisa meningkatkan kepercayaan penulis yang akan mengirimkan kontribusi mengirimkan naskahnya ke Madani : jurnal pengabdian kepada masyarakat.

The school vocational has been programing by government to create graduates whose ready to work,however thats goal not only oriented on result, but also oriented on processing. Fiqih mumalah can be acomodated proses and result to be a bless god. Gradutate can get result (salaries) but not disregard etich. In another goal this program is support our research. Processing method this our program are give discussions fiqih muamalah and financial statement for islamic institutition with hooking in daily activities, than answer question session. Result this program is student’s got understanding of all about transaction which no contradict in islamic rule and we can seem student’s awareness to muamalah is so much. This moment is support get learning outcomes is pious to God.

Paud Assibyan and Paud KBK HI Kuntum Mekar are one of the Paud located in the Baros Serang Banten District. Their learning system still uses conventional learning media. This is because the limited facilities and infrastructure and the Paud teacher do not understand using ICT to support the learning process. Lack of knowledge of the Paud teacher using ICT in the learning process has an impact on students to become out of focus in the lesson and children easily get bored with class activities. The purpose of the community service program carried out by the authors in the Baros sub-district of Serang Banten Regency is: 1) to improve the teaching knowledge of teachers for Paud children using ICT; and 2) improve the quality of children's learning while playing, independence, creative and innovative by utilizing visual media. This PKM activity involves various PAUD managers and higher education institutions as a form of community service. The method used for community service activities is through a constructive and visual approach between us as a lecturer and PAUD teachers. The expected results are that teachers begin to use ICT as one of the interactive learning media for their students.

The effectiveness of teaching and learning in the classroom is inseparable from the quality ofcommunication between the teacher and students. Differences in generations between teachers and students can create barriers to communication because each party speaks 'language' and a different style. The current generation of school students is known as generation Z. They were born in the period 1995-2010. Z generation students are very familiar with technology and the digital world. They are able to learn independently with the information they get from the internet. In class, they want an interactive learning experience and the opportunity to exchange ideas. They like to use visual communication. The characteristics of students like this are certainly a challenge for teachers who have monotonous ways of teaching, only rely on one-way lectures, and do not keep up with the times. Especially if the subjects are ICT (Technology, Information and Communication) that requires teachers to actively find out and learn the latest information technology applications. Based on this situation, the author held a communication training for ICT teachers from Optima Education. In this training, the teachers were given an understanding of the characteristics of generation Z and how to effectively communicate with them. Theoutput of this training is to increase teacher understanding to communicate with Z generation students effectively. The teachers were also asked to evaluate their previous teaching methods and make a commitment to make real changes in the teaching and learning process in the classroom.

Hypertension is a health problem that is still found in many first-rate service facilities. Hypertension cancause damage to various vital organs if it is not detected early and gets adequate treatment. Control of blood pressure in hypertensive patients is still inadequate even though effective drugs are available. At the Cisalak Pasar Health Center, there were high visits of hypertensive patients and a number of patients who had not been obedient to routine control and taking medication as recommended. The results of blood tests and EKG on the previous examination found 14.29% of hypertensive patients had kidney problems. This activity aims to detect the presence of target organ complications and increase knowledge about rational drug use, control and regular exercise as an effort to control hypertension. IbM activities are carried out through blood and ECG examinations and counseling about rational use of drugs and exercise for hypertensive patients. The results of laboratory tests found that anumber of patients experienced an increase in a number of parameters, namely 37.93% increase in cholesterol, 27.59% increase in triglycerides, increase in LDL 68.97%, increase in urea 20.69%, and creatinine increase of 26.47%. ECG results showed cardiac abnormalities in one patient (2.94%). The average score of sports knowledge for hypertensive patients increased after counseling, before a score of 4.7 to 6.27. The pattern of drugs used by patients from Puskesmas is mostly single drugs. Most patients still consume fatty and salty foods. However, there are many patients who consume vegetables and fruits, reduce preserved foods, regularly check blood pressure, and have ideal body weight to achieve controlled blood pressure. The results of IbM found an increase in knowledge and changes in the behavior of hypertensive patients to achieve controlled blood pressure, although some patientswho had kidney and heart problems were found.

Province Jawa Barat statistic data reveals about 1.996 tuberculosis (TB) patient are living in Depok.Dinas Kesehatan Depok 2016 report that Depok has 3.942 undernutrition children. This condition could increase TB transmission and mortality caused by TB in children. The purpose of this activity were to inform and increase knowledge about balance nutrition and prevention of TB transmission by giving counseling and pocketbook, know how to do anthropometric assessment and make daily food journal, and distribute fortified milk to increase children nutrition. The target were healty parents and TB infected parents with children undernutrition. The results of this activities shows children with 2 children with severe underweight and severe wasting (8,7%) and 21 children with moderate underweight and moderate wasting (91,3%). The knowledge are measured by questionare. The result about balance nutrition shows that 12 persons with good result (2,2%), 5 persons with moderate result (21,7%) and 6 persons with poor result (26,1%). TB knowledge shows 20 persons with good results (87%) and 3 persons with poor result (13%). Training on making daily food journal were doing by simulation and practice. The responder return the result of daily food journal 3 weeks after the counseling done.

Breast cancer is one type of cancer that ranks first in Asia and in Indonesia with a relative frequency of18.6%. Breast cancer also occupies the top 5 positions for causes of cancer deaths. Many breast cancer sufferersare found clinically with advanced stage symptoms, so they need special attention. In fact, breast cancer can beovercome if the patient begins to detect and treat it early. Early efforts to carry out breast cancer screening arewith the BSE program or self breast examination. Counseling was carried out at Posbindu Anggrek Bulan andPosbindu Delima Senja. The implementation of this service activity uses a method of counseling, video playbackand simulation that is very good for providing knowledge and skills related to health education to the community.There is an increase in knowledge of the material given through the pretest and posttest. Self-awareness skills asbreast cancer prevention efforts were carried out well by participants. The results of community service activitiesare expected to get a lot of information about breast cancer as well as overall female reproductive healthinformation.

The purpose of this activity is to foster the motivation of people in the region to actively participate indevelopment through opportunities and life experiences to socialize with communities of different regions, so as tofoster a spirit of tolerance with a deep understanding of the values and diversity of Indonesian culture. The targetsand outcomes expected from this program are (1) able to work together in formulating their potential through theapplication of science and technology, (2) being able to design work programs and apply them responsibly, (3)being able to manage changes in themselves and the environment, communicate and motivate groups andcommunities, and (4) have strong, honest, caring and respectful personalities. The method of implementingNationalism KKN activities is carried out in the form of socialization / counseling and trainings involving thegovernment and the community directly. The results achieved from this activity are the village literacy movement,planting the importance of hand washing for health improvement especially for elementary school students, thegrowing creativity of mothers in utilizing their potential in making products that have economic value, andpreserving dance culture traditional.

Pangkalan Puskop Bintara LPG located in East Jakarta is one of the official bases of Pertamina which provides LPG sizes of 3 kg and 12 kg. The rotation of the availability and distribution of gases at the Puskop Bintara LPG Base is very fast. However, this is not supported by conditions in the workplace area that have not been well organized. Based on observations in the field, the problems related to the work area, namely the condition of the base is not clean, gas laying that is not in accordance with the layout of gas storage, and the discipline of employees related to cleanliness is still lacking. To overcome these problems, the best solution is to apply 5S, which is sorting (Seiri), arrangement (Seiton), cleaning (Seiso), maintaining good conditions (Seiketsu), and self-awareness of the habits needed to do the job properly (Shitsuke ) The community service method is carried out through the dissemination of the 5S concept and its application such as: sorting goods and disposing of seals (Seiri), placing LPG gas cylinders neatly and regularly both still filled with gas and empty with instructions on the location and name of gas cylinders LPG (Seiton), cleaning LPG seal waste scattered on the floor and cleaning LPG bases on a regular basis (Seiso), making 5S socialization posters for workers as a reminder in maintaining the work area and arranging LPG gas cylinders neatly (Shitsuke). The result of 5S implementation is an increase in understanding the importance of 5S in improving work efficiency and productivity as well as increasing comfort and neatness in the work area.

Abstract Physics subjects are considered difficult for some students, for that the teachers try to find methods to convey physics subjects to be easily understood by students. One method is the practice in the laboratory or applying physical principles in everyday life. The implementation of subjects through practice in the laboratory and in the surrounding environment is one of the characteristics of the 2013 curriculum. Through this service to the community, activities that are applied in physics in daily life are carried out, namely about how to airconditioning (cooling) in a room. Here will be explained about heat transfer through conduction, radiation and convection. Another activity is to introduce various types of electric lamps that are energy-efficient and class-level lighting needs. The two examples of the application of physics are associated with the Indonesian National Standard (SNI), which is a reference value for comfortable conditions for the use of AC and the level of lighting in the classroom. The results of technical guidance activities by providing examples of the application of physics to buildings in the form of the use of lights and air conditioning and the use of measuring instruments make students interested in participating in activities. Thus students are expected to better understand the material presented.Activities related to energy saving are also in harmony with activities related to the environment such as those thathave been widely practiced in the school environment.

Abstract The National Commission on Violence Against Women (Komnas Perempuan) notes that the level of violence against women has been so massive throughout 2017. The violence mostly occurs in the private sphere and is in the form of physical violence, sexual violence and courtship violence, and is mostly carried out by the closest victims namely boyfriend. Violence against women can occur because of the imbalance of power in gender relations. To break the chain of violence against women, this training aims to foster awareness about the values of gender equality in gender harmony relations among students of SMAN 8 Jakarta. This training uses an active student learning approach that requires participants to actively participate in the learning process. For this reason, various learning methods were chosen, among others: the lecture method, question and answer, group discussion, and watching together the film LOVE (Story of Violence in Dating). The training participants consisted of 170 class X students of SMAN 8 Jakarta. To evaluate the effectiveness of training, this training uses qualitative data collection methods namely observation and interviews, and thematic analysis is used as a data analysis technique. Evaluation results indicate that this training is effective. This can be seen from the increasing insight and awareness of students about the values of gender equality as they view women as having the same position as men in family and society, seeing gender is not God's nature, can recognize forms of violence: physical violence, psychological, sexual, and economic, and being negative about violence in courtship.
