Abstract

This research endeavors to elucidate the execution of internal policies by the school principal to enhance educational standards. Employing a qualitative method with a descriptive approach, the study reveals that the madrasa head, vested with the responsibility of guiding the educational institution, holds a pivotal role in shaping its trajectory. Indeed, the effectiveness of the madrasa, particularly in terms of elevating educational quality, significantly hinges upon the leadership of the head. Various endeavors are undertaken to enhance educational quality, encompassing initiatives such as reinforcing teacher discipline, augmenting pedagogical knowledge, and providing coaching for teacher performance improvement. Additionally, efforts to elevate student standards include mentorship and ensuring the provision of necessary infrastructure conducive to learning. These measures are integral to fulfilling the role of nurturing the students' academic growth effectively.

Abstract

This article aims to compare classical supervision with modern supervision. The research method used is content analysis by collecting data from scientific articles, books, and other sources. The findings of this paper are as follows: Supervision is carried out for no other reason than to foster educational actors in an organization to improve the quality of learning. In the ancient, ent sense, supervision,n is the inspection and examination process. With this ancient understanding, the supervisor becomes afraid, thus making himself not open to the problems that are afflicting him. In the current era, supervision comes in a humanist form, namely as a process of coaching, directing, assisting, serving, and providing assistance, and carried out on an ongoing basis with a directed and systematic program for teachers in improving their competencies. It is necessary to reflect on several things that are the basis of supervision in the world of education so that the purpose and principle of supervision will be realized in the world of education.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the principal's management in implementing education management in vocational high schools. This article uses case study research with data collection from observation interviews and documentation. The informants consist of the principal, vice principal, teachers, staff, and some school members. The findings of this study are Program implementation at SMK Negeri 1 Dlanggu has a prominent position compared to other elements of the education management standard. Each program is implemented by each school community with a high level of awareness and with a predetermined division of tasks. Monitoring and evaluation are carried out based on the education management standards that have been set. School leadership at SMK Negeri 1 Dlanggu follows the education management standard. This can be seen from the hierarchical structure consisting of the Principal, Vice Principal, and Affairs Coordinator. Each member of the leadership team is aware of their respective roles and responsibilities, and they work collaboratively to improve overall school management, with the ultimate goal of achieving educational excellence. The development of the management information system shows relatively good results, although there is still room for further improvement in the utilization of resources to facilitate school administration and management.

Abstract

Building upon the aforementioned principles, SD NU Kaplongan endeavors to consistently deliver top-tier educational services, encompassing excellent facilities, quality assurance, and holistic character development. To complement these efforts, effective marketing strategies and a proficient teaching staff are essential in executing prepared initiatives. This study adopts a qualitative methodology, chosen for its compatibility with existing research and its aptness in analyzing community issues and mitigation efforts. Findings reveal that SD NU Kaplongan's marketing strategy is spearheaded by a dedicated core team responsible for community outreach and program promotion. This includes engagement with the new student admissions committee, followed by a comprehensive four-step marketing approach. The school offers a range of academic and extracurricular programs, yielding notable achievements and preparing students for enrollment in esteemed institutions such as state junior high schools and Madrasah Tasanawiyah. Moreover, promotional activities are extensively conducted through various channels, particularly leveraging social media platforms and alumni networks. Additionally, the school actively engages in community-oriented initiatives, organizing events such as competitions and religious activities to foster social cohesion and outreach.

Abstract

Management is the cornerstone of running and overseeing an organization in everyday life. Communication management is one of the pivotal factors for achieving organizational goals. From a communication perspective, such activities are evident in every aspect of daily life. Celebrating the ideals of organizational communication management is crucial amid the proliferation of technology. If left unchecked, this could lead to a breakdown of harmony. Therefore, the concept of religious tolerance should permeate social media to guide effective communication in the social sphere. A communication strategy that embraces diversity is essential for maintaining and strengthening community unity. Through this process, individuals engage in transmitting and receiving messages, thereby adapting to one another. The role of communication in organizational management entails attention to both organizational culture (the values, beliefs, and assumptions characterizing the organization) and organizational climate (evidence of behaviors shaping perceptions of various policies and practices), particularly concerning security. Communication management emphasizes the professional roles and strategic contributions of individuals to the organization. While many patterns in communication management systems and structures remain unexplored, communication management, especially in educational and strategic communication, has largely been built on approaches wherein organizations communicate clearly and consistently. Communication management serves as the primary guiding principle for organizations in their interactions with the external public, affirming the unity of people. Meanwhile, employees' communicative roles are chiefly relevant within the internal context of the organization."

Abstract

This study explores the potential of the Merdeka Mengajar platform in supporting teacher professional development and the integration of technology in vocational education at SMK Negeri 1 Dlanggu Mojokerto, as well as understanding teachers' perceptions and experiences in using the platform. Adopting a qualitative approach, this research investigates how the platform contributes to improving educational quality through the development of teaching skills, collaborative learning, and the use of digital resources. Findings indicate that Merdeka Mengajar facilitates access to a diverse range of learning resources, allowing teachers to enrich teaching content and adopt more interactive and innovative teaching methods, which align with the needs of the modern job market. The study also highlights challenges faced, including difficulties in integrating technology into the existing curriculum and limitations of technological infrastructure. Nonetheless, the overall perception of teachers towards this platform is positive, with many emphasizing its benefits in enhancing student engagement and enriching their learning experiences. This research underscores the importance of ongoing support and technical training for teachers to optimize the use of the platform and suggests better coordination between schools, platform managers, and teachers to overcome existing barriers. In conclusion, the Merdeka Mengajar platform offers significant opportunities to enhance the quality of vocational education through teacher professional development and technology integration. With a holistic and strategic approach, the use of this platform can be more effective, enriching students' learning experiences and preparing them with relevant skills for the future.
