Abstract

The ideological decade in Indonesia was marked by the entry of various transnational ideologies. Thus, these various ideologies will be responded to with various responses that are different from each other, including the responses of the ulama as representatives of Indonesian Muslims (still the Dutch East Indies at that time). This article aims to describe various forms of response to several ideologies that developed during the ideological decade and their discourses. This article was written with a qualitative descriptive approach using the literature study method as the data collection method. From the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the ulama as well as Muslims are fragmented in various responses and the roles shown in their various attitudes, when responding to the entry of various ideas/ideologies at this time. In the life of the community, the estuary of the responses that appear leads to the pros and cons of these ideas/ideologies.

Abstract

This research was conducted based on the research gap and differences in the focus of the discussion on knowledge sharing, individual innovation abilities, and organizational citizenship behavior on employee performance. In addition, there are also research problems regarding the decline in employee performance at PT. Alas Harum Bali can be seen from the high level of employee absenteeism. This research was conducted at PT. Alas Harum Bali with a population of 65 employees and a sample of 65 employees. All data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires that can be used, then analyzed using SPSS 25. The results of the study indicate that knowledge sharing has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, individual innovation capability has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and organizational citizenship behavior has a positive and significant impact on employee performance. Employee performance, knowledge sharing, individual innovation ability, and organizational citizenship behavior have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. This research suggests that knowledge sharing can be increased by taking into account the existing indicators. Individual innovation ability can be progressed by paying awareness to personality characteristic indicators. Organizational citizenship behavior can be improved by paying attention to courtesy indicators. Performance can be improved by paying attention to effectiveness indicators.

Abstract

This study focused on middle voice in Uab Meto. The point of this study is to describe the morphosyntactic element of the middle voice in Uab Meto. There are three forms of middle voice constructions in Uab Meto, namely reflexive, reciprocal, and lexical. A subject-reflective enclitic demonstrates the middle's reflexivity. Ma-, which is usually linked to the verb, signifies reciprocity. es nok es "each other" (lit. "one with one") is an additional signal that the construction is reciprocal, but its use is optional. There is a lexical middle verb type that is unmarked and syntactically intransitive. The argument's interpretation depends on the speaker's perceptions of the circumstances.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of organizational culture on the quality of public services offered by the Baubau City Regional Secretariat. This study involves quantitative descriptive research, a technique used to assess the state of natural items in which the researcher is the principal instrument. The results of the SPSS test demonstrate that the sig value is known. The t value for the influence of organizational culture on the quality of public services is 4.418, which is more than 0.676. Consequently, the study's premise is accepted, indicating that organizational culture influences the quality of public services. According to the SPSS test, the R Square value is 0.394, indicating that organizational culture has a 39.4 percent influence on the quality of public services. The research findings indicate that 60.4% of variables beyond the scope of this study influence the quality of service at the Baubau City Regional Secretariat.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out Community Based Tourism in Sustainable Tourism Development in Baubau City. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that Community-Based Tourism Development is to involve the community as in the development planning deliberation process, where the government and the community are together in managing tourism objects. In addition, tourism awareness groups also receive benefits from tourism activities by increasing the economy from tourism activities in Baubau City. Ensuring Environmental Sustainability is to ensure the sustainability of the environment so that it is not damaged or polluted, it is necessary for the role of the government, NGOs, and the community not to damage the physical environment at tourist sites. In addition, providing support both in the form of materials and policies such as providing character education counseling is an effort made in maintaining local character and culture in tourism areas in Baubau City.

Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between profitability and working capital efficiency, liquidity, and business size. The efficiency of working capital is assessed by the turnover of working capital. The current ratio is used to gauge liquidity. Total firm size is determined by the ln of total assets. This study employs a sample of sixty annual reports from twelve infrastructure-sector businesses listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2016 to 2020. Method of multiple linear regression utilized in an analytical procedure. The findings demonstrated that working capital efficiency, liquidity, and business size had a substantial and negative impact on profitability. The test findings revealed a correlation between working capital efficiency, liquidity, and business size and profitability. The magnitude of the effect was 16,9%, while the remaining 83,1% was influenced by other factors outside this research.

Abstract

In general, damage to coral reefs in the Tomia Wakatobi area is caused by human activities, including fishing methods using explosives, disposal of plastic waste which causes pollution of the marine environment and other fishing methods that are not environmentally friendly which cause coral damage. This research uses empirical normative law research methods, which are legal research conducted by researching library materials or secondary data, normative legal research is also called doctrinal legal research. Peter Mahmud explained that normative legal research is a process to find a rule of law, legal principles, and legal doctrines in order to answer the legal issues faced. In this type of legal research, law is often conceptualized as what is written in legislation or regulations. The law is conceptualized as a rule or norm which is a benchmark for human behavior that is considered appropriate. The result of this study is that the regulation of sanctions for perpetrators of coral destruction is regulated in laws, including the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 31 of 2004 concerning Fisheries, which is specifically regulated in Article 84 paragraph (1) and Law no. 27 of 2007 concerning the management of coastal areas and small islands, in article 35 letters a, b, c, and d everyone is directly or indirectly prohibited from mining coral reefs that cause damage to coral reef ecosystems, taking coral reefs in conservation areas. The inhibiting factors in preventing coral destruction are the lack of public awareness and lack of supervision.

Abstract

People are a component of the environment. Where human involvement with the environment has an effect on other forms of life. The environment evolves in tandem with societal transformations. Human survival is extremely dependent on the environment. In the social perspective, the environment (ecosystem) is a unit that cannot be separated. The influence of environmental pollution on human growth and survival is unfavorable. If the environment (ecology) is healthy, it will have a favorable effect on the development of human life's carrying capacity. On the other side, driven by limitless human wants, there is frequently excessive and unregulated exploitation of the environment, resulting in environmental harm and contamination. To counteract the negative effects of excessive environmental exploitation, it is essential to have a social engineering tool, namely the law, in order to establish an orderly society (law as a tool of social engineering). This study employs a normative legal approach as its methodology. This study will examine normatively applicable legal structures pertaining to the environment in Indonesia, with an emphasis on the necessity of law enforcement (law as a tool of social engineering). Abstract

Students' reading skills are an important prerequisite in literacy, however, based on the results of the 2018 PISA scores, it has greatly decreased. Many factors affect the decline in students' reading skills, one of which is the learning model applied in the classroom, so this study aims to determine the dominant cooperative learning model affective the reading skills of SMP students. The type of research is literature study with a systematic literature review approach. Data in the form of artefact is collected through searching Google Scholar links with the help of Publish or Perish. Based on the search results, there are as many as 10 artefact used in the study and have met the specified criteria. The results of the analysis obtained that the cooperative learning model can have a positive impact on improving the reading ability or skills of SMP students. The learning models that can be used are TPS, JIGSAW, KWL, CIRC, TTW, and STAD. Each type of cooperative model has advantages and disadvantages, so it is very appropriate to choose a cooperative model in improving the reading skills of SMP students at every grade level.

Abstract

Metacognitive strategies are important strategies in many areas of learning. The aims of this study were to find out the influence of metacognitive strategy in students of SMPN 29 BUTON’ speaking performance, that is, to know the extent of correlation between metacognitive strategies and speaking performance and to know the types of metacognitive strategies used in speaking. The method of this study was a mixed method design, combining quantitative and qualitative approaches. The types of metacognitive strategies used in speaking were first analyzed, which was followed by quantifying the correlation level between metacognitive strategies in speaking and the speaking performance. The instruments used in this study were speaking test and metacognitive strategy questionnaire. The population of this study was students of SMPN 29 BUTON in the academic year of 2020/2021. The results of this study indicated that the level of metacognitive strategy use in speaking performance of students of SMPN 29 BUTON and the level of their speaking performance are moderate (M = 2.03 and M = 63) as well as the correlation between metacognitive strategy and their speaking performance (R = 0.45 and probability value = 0.00). Furthermore, it was found the frequency of using several types of metacognitive strategies in planning and monitoring speaking was quite high, but not in metacognitive strategies for evaluation.
