Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how insecure young people feel when making career decisions. Adolescents experience confusion, or anxiety, when making career development decisions. Fear of what hasn't happened yet, fear of failure, and lack of support from the environment. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. The subjects of this study were late adolescents, with a total of 3 respondents aged 17 to 19. Direct observation and interview techniques were used as data collection techniques in this study. The study found that young people surveyed reported feeling anxious when contemplating career decisions. This was due to worrying about things that hadn't happened yet, fear of failure before trying, lack of self-confidence, and lack of parental and community support. Research results on adolescents' anxiety during career decision-making have shown that adolescents' anxiety has a significant impact on their ability to make decisions. Therefore, the lower an adolescent's anxiety, the better he/she will be in decision making.

Abstract

Kemiskinan merupakan masalah yang mendasar dan menjadi pusat perhatian pemerintah di berbagai negara. Terdapat strategi yang mendukung dalam penanggulangan kemiskinan ialah tersedianya data kemiskinan yang akurat sehingga dapat memperoleh hasil pengukuran yang dapat dipercaya dan dapat dijadikan sebagai pengambilan kebijakan yang bertujuan untuk fokus dalam memperhatikan kondisi masyarakat miskin. Kemiskinan didefinisikan sebagai level ketidakmampuan seseorang dalam memenuhi kebutuhan standar. Kemiskinan digolongkan menjadi beberapa bagian. Golongan pertama adalah kemiskinan absolut, yakni kemiskinan yang dialami seseorang karena pendapatan rendah dan tidak dapat memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya. Golongan kedua yaitu kemiskinan relatif, atau derajat kemiskinan yang dialami seseorang dengan kondisi di atas garis kemiskinan tetapi berada pada jarak antara miskin dan non miskin.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) based on economic sectors and the economic growth rate in South Tapanuli Regency. Secondary data on GDP in South Tapanuli Regency categorized by economic sectors, compiled by the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), were used for the analysis. The selected sectors were those contributing more than 5% to the GDP by economic sectors. Additionally, data on the percentage of regional economic growth in South Tapanuli Regency from 2011 to 2021 were incorporated.The analysis results indicate that all five variables collectively have a significant influence on economic growth (0,042 < 0.05) with a correlation rate of 84.2%. Specifically, the manufacturing industry sector demonstrates a positive and significant impact on economic growth. On the other hand, the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sector; mining and quarrying sector; construction sector; and trade, repair of motor vehicles, and motorcycles sector show positive contributions but are not statistically significant. This research provides valuable insights for the local government in understanding the role of GDP in determining economic growth. The findings can serve as a foundation for formulating policies and economic development strategies in South Tapanuli Regency, aiming to achieve sustainable and high-quality economic growth.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of BTS "Bon Voyage (Season 4)" exposure on the Indonesian BTS ARMY Community interest in traveling to New Zealand. This research uses Quantitative Research Methods and uses Media Exposure Theory. The results of the regression test obtained through the coefficient of determination test (R Square) yielded a value of 0.232 or 23.2%. This value shows that only 23.2% of Y variable (BTS ARMY Indonesian Community Interest in Traveling to New Zealand) can be explained or predicted by X variable (Influence of BTS "Bon Voyage (Season 4)"). Then from the results of hypothesis T test between X and Y variables showed a significance value of 0.000 which means sig (p) <0.05, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The conclusion, there is a weak influence between watching the BTS "Bon Voyage (Season 4)" on BTS ARMY Indonesian Community Interest in Traveling to New Zealand. In addition, the simple regression model formed is: Y = 7883 + 0.144 X. It can also show that every 1 unit increase in variable (X) will cause an increase in variable (Y) of 0.144.

Abstract

Dating violence is a phenomenon that is rife in society. Basically, or dating violence is a problem that continues to get an increase in every case, especially in women's gender-based violence. This study aims to determine the motives of women to endure dating violence, patterns and forms of violent behavior experienced by women while involved in dating relationships, and the meaning of actions and also violent relationships based on the experiences of each informant. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological approach with symbolic interaction theory, phenomenological theory, and social construction theory. The research results were obtained through structured and semi-structured in-depth interviews with five female informants who experienced this phenomenon. The results of the study show that women's motives for surviving violence in their relationship can be seen from two different motives, namely past motives due to affection and an imbalance of positions in relationships that make women powerless. On the other hand, the past motive that underlies women to survive is because they feel their partners are very good outside of the violence. Meanwhile, when viewed from the future motive, it is because the woman still believes that her partner can change for the better for herself and also for the relationship. Regarding the experience of communication in the form of violence experienced by the informants, there was verbal and physical violence. Patterns of violence can occur because of various conflicts, such as the woman's feeling that she has violated the rules of her partner, feelings of jealousy, her partner's prejudice, and her partner's stubbornness about what he thinks is right, which makes the partner emotional and ends up committing violence. Of course regret and false promises are mentioned by the partner which makes the woman accept and forgive her behavior again. Meanwhile, from the length of their relationship, the women interpret or view the phenomenon of dating violence as an act that is wrong. So they interpret the relationship as not to be fought for and feel that an abusive relationship can cause trauma. On the other hand, there are also other opinions that being involved in a violent relationship gives insight on how to deal with someone with unstable emotions, so that it can be used as a learning relationship in the future.

Abstract

Apart from the positive aspects of using media social, especially Instagram, it is possible that there will also be some negative impacts, such as violating ethics by using the platform to spread hoaxes, slander, insults, blasphemy and other offensive language. For this reason, all advertisers must uphold the Advertising Ethics which have been regulated in a guideline, namely the Indonesian Advertising Ethics (EPI). The Indonesian Advertising Ethics (EPI) serves as a guide for advertising in Indonesia, as well as a guide for addressing this issue. An Instagram post made by Holywings is the subject of qualitative research method content analysis techniques this time. According to the findings of the post content review, there are ethical violations in social media advertising, including violations involving content that offends SARA and illegal content.

Abstract

The government is trying to achieve the goals of National Education in accordance with Law No. 20 of 2003, which is to develop the potential of students to become human beings of faith and piety. Education is defined as a conscious and planned effort to create a learning atmosphere in order to develop students' self-potential. The responsibility for education is left to parents, educational institutions, government, and society. Research at TKN Sendang, Cirebon District, used a qualitative method to analyze the formation and role of the School Committee in early childhood education. The results showed that the School Committee at TKN Sendang played a role in improving the quality of education by providing direction, staff support, facilities, and supervision at the early age level. The active role of parents/guardians of students is very significant in supporting and involving themselves in School Committee activities, including providing input and financial support. The School Committee is also effective in providing direction and support for character building and improving learning facilities. In conclusion, the active participation of parents/guardians of students and the role of the School Committee is important in improving the quality of early childhood education. Collaboration between the government, educational institutions, the community, and parents/guardians of students creates an educational environment that is conducive and supports the optimal growth of the potential of students, so as to achieve the goals of National Education that have been set.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the message producer meaning towards PT Sarinah's branding in the short film "Mbok dan Bung", the audience reception towards PT Sarinah's branding in the short film "Mbok dan Bung", and the audiences reading position towards the use of the short film "Mbok dan Bung" as PT Sarinah's branding which positioned using the Stuart Hall encoding/decoding model. The method used is qualitative reception analysis with observation and interview data collection techniques. The results of the study show that the message producer meaning of PT Sarinah's branding in the short film "Mbok dan Bung" is divided into four branding scenes that contain the humanity values, gender equality values, historical values, and innovation values implemented by PT Sarinah. The audience's reception for the branding of the four scenes received various interpretations from the audience, but in the end the audience, who are movie observers, stated the branding that PT Sarinah wanted to create in the short film "Mbok dan Bung" had been successful.  The audience reading position of the four branding scenes has various audience reading positions, in the first scene there are Dominant Hegemonic audience reading positions as the majority and Oppositional Hegemonic Reading, in the second scene there are Dominant Hegemonic audience reading positions as the majority and Oppositional Hegemonic Reading, in the third scene there are audience reading positions that are balanced on Dominant Hegemonic and Oppositional Hegemonic Reading, in the fourth scene there are Dominant Hegemonic audience reading positions as the majority, Negotiated Reading, and Oppositional Hegemonic Reading.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the communication strategy is carried out in the process of ordering badminton sports facilities at the Lodaya Sports Hall in Bandung City with an Exploratory Case Study Approach. The aspects studied included knowing how the communication strategy was carried out, why the communication strategy was used, knowing how the evaluation was carried out, and knowing why optimization needed to be done in the process of ordering badminton sports facilities at Lodaya Sports Hall, Bandung City. This study used a qualitative research approach with an exploratory case study research method. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews and observation. Then a technical triangulation technique was carried out to test the validity of the research data. The results of the study show that the Lodaya Sports Hall in Bandung City applies an offline communication strategy to the process of ordering badminton sports facilities. This strategy was carried out because the managers of the Lodaya Sports Hall in Bandung City felt they could trust customers who came directly to the field and there were limited resources on the part of the manager. The evaluation was carried out by the manager of GOR Lodaya Bandung City with the results of the evaluation showing that there was a negative effect received by the customer. Customers feel that there are limitations to accessibility and efficiency of the ordering schedule, as well as that there is an uneven implementation of the transparency of the ordering system which results in difficulty ordering badminton sports facilities. Optimization is needed to fulfill the objectives of GOR Lodaya Bandung City, which is to provide badminton sports facilities for all levels of society.

Abstract

This study aims to determine effective promotion strategies in increasing consumer confidence through Instagram. Communication strategies can be used to measure the success and failure of a communication process. Paperlines Visual is a wedding documentation vendor in Blitar that utilizes Instagram social media to get consumers. Research using descriptive qualitative method. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study were Marketing Manager Paperlines Visual informants and Content Creator Paperlines Visual. The object of this research is the Paperlines Visual promotion strategy using Instagram social media. The theory used is new media theory or theory. The results of this study reveal that by carrying out promotional strategies using Instagram, such as optimizing the bio feature on Instagram accounts, using reviews or testimonials from clients, arranging posting schedules, posting interactive content in uploads on the home page and instagram stories, instagram reels to receive feedback or feedback from their followers. From the upload of Paperlines Visual, it can be seen that the majority of feedback is positive, as can be seen from the comments and direct messages.
