Abstract

This study was to determine the planning, implementation, evaluation, barriers, and solutions to face the obstacles of character education in improving students' disciplined attitudes. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The technique of checking the validity of the data is by triangulation of sources and techniques. The results of this study indicate that the management of character education that is carried out is seen by the existence of measurable programs and activities in educational institutions referring to the interests of the quality of graduates through the implementation of good management. From the management of the school, it has an impact on character education in improving the disciplined attitude of students. However, the facts on the ground are still not optimal and the results are not as expected by all parties. This is due to the presence of several factors indicated as obstacles, both internal and external. So that educational institutions continue to improve themselves in organizing character education programs for students. The solution to improve the disciplined character of students is to build a synergy of all parties in the educational community to build a culture of discipline in school life. The recommendations given are related to the preparation of program plans and their implementation can be carried out involving all school stakeholders, so that all elements in school stakeholders know their roles, functions and responsibilities. Furthermore, each implementation of the school's extracurricular activities needs to be evaluated in order to measure the achievement of the goals that have been set and concrete improvement steps going forward.

Abstract

Kebijakan politik dalam pendidikan, seperti kebijakan belajar telah lahir di baik Eropa atau amerika serikat dan Jepang setelah lahirnya demokrasi dalam kehidupan dari abad ke 19. Sementara itu, tidak mungkin dapat dikembangkan tanpa anggota yang cerdas. Anggota paling cerdas hanya melalui pendidikan bisa terbentuk, pendidikan secara langsung maupun tidak langsung dipengaruhi oleh politik, baik dalam konteks makro dan mikro. Integrasi pendidikan dan politik adalah jamak. Sementara itu, melalui pendidikan dapat membentuk individu individu yang berpartisispasi dalam kehidupan politik.

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah salah satu sistem yang berada dilingkungan masyarakat merupakan institusi sosial untuk saling berinteraksi antara individu dan anggota masyarakatnya interksi yang terjadi dalam masyarakat akan menciptakan pengaruh dalam sistem yang akan di terapkan. Abstract

Dalam dunia pendidikan saat ini tingginya kemampuan intelektual akademis bukanlah jaminan bagi peserta didik. kurangnya motivasi dalam belajar dapat mempengaruhi setiap individu untuk mencapai cita-citanya. Menyikapi pentingnya motivasi belajar peserta didik yang saat ini semakin menurun semangatnya pada generasi bangsa sekarang, Teknologi informatika sangat penting dan memberikan pengaruh yang cukup besar di dunia pendidikan. Adanya kemajuan teknologi yang semakin cepat perkembangannya membuat peserta didik semakin di manjakan dengan fasilitas seperti itu. Artikel ini memberikan penjelasan tentang pengertian motivasi belajar siswa, dan upaya membangkitkan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of academic supervision of school supervisors, supervision of school principals, teacher performance, as well as to determine the effect of the implementation of supervision on educational psychology in improving the quality of education at SMP Negeri Lubuk Palas village. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative, with a phenomenological approach to interpret the phenomena that occur where the researcher is the instrument, the sampling of data sources is carried out by data collection techniques in the form of interviews. Respondents in this study were principals and teachers. The analysis used descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the implementation of the academic supervision of the school supervisor was quite good, the supervision of the principal was carried out well and in the high category and the teacher's performance was carried out well and in the high category. The results of inferential analysis using linear regression show that: (1) the competence of school supervisors' academic supervision has a significant effect on the quality of education, (2) the supervision of principals has a significant effect on the quality of education, (3) the competence of school supervisors' academic supervision and supervision of school principals simultaneously equally significant effect on the quality of educatio

Abstract

This study aims to examine the pattern of principal management in improving the personality competence of teachers in elementary schools. This study uses a qualitative approach. For information on this research data, researchers took several sources of information from the Principal at SD Terpadu Muhammadiyah 36 Medan. The results showed that the principal's management pattern in improving the teacher's personality competence at SD Terpadu Muhammadiyah 36 Medan was by planning a program to increase teacher personality competence, implementing a program to increase teacher personality competence and evaluating the program to increase teacher personality competence at SD Terpadu Muhammadiyah 36 Medan. The increase in teacher personality competence is carried out because the teacher is a role model for his students, therefore the teacher must have a good personality as an educator. In improving the personality competence of teachers at SD Terpadu Muhammadiyah 36 Medan, the principal applies Islamic values ​​sourced from the Qur'an and sunnah. After the implementation of the teacher personality competency improvement program, the principal then conducts an evaluation to review or ascertain whether the teacher's personality competence at SD Terpadu Muhammadiyah 36 Medan has increased or not and provides advice and motivation to teachers.

Abstract

The implementation of curriculum management in improving the quality of education is motivated by the development of increasingly sophisticated and globalized science and technology (IPTEK), so that it has an impact on almost all human life on earth today, including educational institutions. Educational institutions are required to be able to anticipate these changes by realizing quality education. In education management, curriculum management needs to be carried out by holding and applying the existing management principles so that the output produced is of quality. The purpose of this study was to determine how the implementation of curriculum management in improving the quality of education at MTsN Binjai. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research at MTsN Binjai are: (1) curriculum planning in improving the quality of education at MTsN Binjai has been carried out collaboratively, meaning that by involving school personnel in all stages of curriculum planning; (2) the implementation of the curriculum in improving the quality of education at MTsN Binjai has been carried out in accordance with the general principles of curriculum development; (3) the evaluation of the curriculum in improving the quality of education at MTsN Binjai is carried out very well, as evidenced by the existence of a systematic effort in setting implementation standards.
