Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi keterlaksanaan peran komite sekolah ditinjau dari peningkatan mutu pembelajara menunjukan bahwa peran peran komite sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan itu dapat dilihat dari segi peningkatan saran dan prasarana di sekolah. Komite sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan tak luput dari beberapa perannya tersebut, yang pertama pertimbangan (advisory agency), yang kedua sebagai pendukung (supporting agency), yang ketiga sebagai pengotrol (controlling agency), dan yang keempat sebagai mediator (executive) Komite sekolah sangat berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pendekatan fenomenologi untuk menafsirkan fenomena yang terjadi dimana peneliti adalah sebagai instrumen, pengambilan sampel sumber data dilakukan dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan guru. Analisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa Komite sekolah memiliki beberapa peranan yang harus dijalankan untuk sekolah itu. Memberikan pertimbangan dalam setiap perancanaan dan program yang disusun oleh sekolah. Komite sekolah berperan sebagai lembaga penasehat, lembaga pendukung, lembaga pengendali, juga sebagai lembaga mediator. Oleh karena itu, komite sekolah harus bekerja sama dengan masyarakat dan pemerintah untuk menjalankan pendidikan yang berkualitas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis peran kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di yayasan pendidikan islam Al-Anwar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah mengkaji bagaimana peran kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik dalam pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah; (1) Peran kepala sekolah sebagaipemimpin dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Al-Anwar adalah memantau, yakni menjadi perantara guru dengan siswa, memotivasi, membuat inovasi, penghubung dengan pihak luar, membimbing siswa secara berkelanjutan, membuat keputusan, derta membina dan meningkatkan kemampuan guru; (2) Peran kepala sekolah sebagai manager dalam meningkakan mutu pendidikan di Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Al-Anwar adalah mengelola dengan melakukan perencanaan, penggorganisasian, penggerakan, serta evaluasi. Dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan, terdapat faktor pendukung yakni dukungan dari yayasan serta banyaknya relasi. Selain faktor pendukung terdapat faktor penghambat yakni berbenturan dengan sistem pemerintahan, kebijakan sertifikasi, sering terjadinya pergantian guru, kurangnya kesadaran warga sekolah, sulitnya penerapan digital learning, serta seringnya terjadi kendala mengenai dana. (3) Peran kepala sekolah sebagai administrator dalam meningkakan mutu pendidikan di Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Al-Anwar adalah berkerjasama dengan wakil kepala sekolah dalam melakukan administrasi disekolah.

Abstract

Evaluasi hasil belajar peserta didik adalah suatu proses menentukan nilai prestasi belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan patokan-patokan tertentu guna mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya. Evaluasi dapat mendorong siswa untuk lebih giat belajar secara terus menerus dan juga mendorong guru untuk lebih meningkatkan kualitas proses pembelajaran serta mendorong sekolah untuk lebih meningkatkan fasilitas dan kualitas belajar siswa. Dengan adanya evaluasi, peserta didik dapat mengetahui sejauh mana keberhasilan yang telah dicapai selarna mengikuti pendidikan. Pada kondisi dimana siswa mendapatkan nilai yang mernuaskan, maka akan memberikan dampak berupasuatu stimulus, motivator agar siswa dapat lebih meningkatkan prestasi.

Abstract

This article aims to find out and analyze the management of students in educational institutions. This paper examines the management of students in educational institutions. This article method uses the literature study method which relies on data sourced from books, articles in scientific journals related to the subject matter. Management is a process that contributes to individuals and groups understanding how to manage things, just like managing students. Thus the management of students in educational institutions is a process for managing students in order to achieve predetermined educational goals. And those who manage these students are educational institutions (schools) and educators in these educational institutions.

Abstract

This research to explain the topic of managing and improving the learning quality of educators and education staff in an Islamic education institution management. This research was conducted using a qualitative-descriptive method. The results of the research show that there are categories or stages in the management of education management and educational staff, namely; (1) Coaching and Development, (2) Promotion and Transfer, (3) Dismissal, (4) Compensation, and (5) Assessment. In improving the quality of learning, teachers as educators have a very important position and strategy in developing the potential of students. In the teacher is the glory and safety of the nation's future by instilling the basic values ​​of the ancestors as the ideals of National Education in forming a person who is physically and mentally prosperous. To increase the professionalism of educators in learning, it is improved through ways of attending upgrading, attending educational courses. conducting visits to other schools or comparative studies, increasing reading, establishing relationships with student guardians, increasing the use of methods, improving materials, as well as improving facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Student management is very much needed in educational institutions because students are both subjects and objects in the process of transforming knowledge and skills. Success in the implementation of education will depend heavily on the development of the physical, intellectual, social, emotional and psychological potential of students. Acceptance of students is a process of finding, determining, and attracting potential applicants who are able to become students in the educational institution (school) concerned. Furthermore, Mustari explained that student acceptance is a process of data collection and service to students who have just entered school, after they meet the requirements set by the school ahead of the new school year.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was conducted to examine how efforts to improve education quality management at SMP PAB 10 Medan Estate. Efforts to improve to achieve quality education do not only fulfill the input and output aspects, but what is more important are the process aspects, what is meant is decision making, program management, institutional management processes, teaching and learning processes and monitoring and evaluation processes, provided that the process teaching and learning has the highest level of importance compared to other processes. One of the educational problems faced by the Indonesian nation today is the low quality of education at every level and educational unit, especially higher education. Various efforts have been made to improve the quality of national education, including through various trainings and improving the competence of lecturers, procuring books and media, improving educational facilities and infrastructure, and improving the quality of campus management. However, various indicators of the quality of education have not shown significant improvement. Some tertiary institutions, especially in big cities, have shown encouraging improvements in the quality of education, but most are still apprehensive. The quality of education are two terms that come from quality and education, meaning that they refer to the quality of products produced by educational institutions or schools. That is, it can be identified from the number of students who have achievements, both academic and other achievements, as well as graduates relevant to the goals.

Abstract

Learning management is a process of managing, which includes planning, organizing, controlling (directing), and evaluating activities related to the process of teaching students by including various factors in it, in order to achieve educational goals and seek to improve the quality of education. Quality education is education that is able to produce graduates with good morals. And to produce students who have good morals, good learning management is also needed. This study aims to determine the application of learning management to improve the quality of education. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The method used to collect data is through observation, interviews, and documentation. Observations are used to obtain data or descriptions of geographical locations, facilities and infrastructure, the condition of teachers and students. Interviews were used to obtain data about learning management. Documentation is used to obtain data on historical reviews and organizational structures. The process of data analysis in this study used an interactive model analysis which consisted of: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From the results of the study it was shown that: 1. The learning management process went well, with the implementation of learning in accordance with proper planning and organization. has been determined. 2. The quality standards of education that are applied continue to increase.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the pattern of principal management in improving the personality competence of teachers in elementary schools. This study uses a qualitative approach. For information on this research data, researchers took several sources of information from the Principal at SD Terpadu Muhammadiyah 36 Medan. The results showed that the principal's management pattern in improving the teacher's personality competence at SD Terpadu Muhammadiyah 36 Medan was by planning a program to increase teacher personality competence, implementing a program to increase teacher personality competence and evaluating the program to increase teacher personality competence at SD Terpadu Muhammadiyah 36 Medan. The increase in teacher personality competence is carried out because the teacher is a role model for his students, therefore the teacher must have a good personality as an educator. In improving the personality competence of teachers at SD Terpadu Muhammadiyah 36 Medan, the principal applies Islamic values ​​sourced from the Qur'an and sunnah. After the implementation of the teacher personality competency improvement program, the principal then conducts an evaluation to review or ascertain whether the teacher's personality competence at SD Terpadu Muhammadiyah 36 Medan has increased or not and provides advice and motivation to teachers.
