Abstract

School Based Management (SBM) can be interpreted as the use of school-based resources in the teaching or learning process. The research objective is to find out: Implementation of School Based Management in SDN 1 Mranti Kec. Purworejo Kab. Purworejo in the 2018/2019 school year. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Informants or informants in this study are the principal, teachers, employees. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, documentation, data analysis in this study, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed SDN 1 Mranti,. Purworejo, Purworejo has implemented School Management Components namely curriculum management and teaching programs, management of teaching staff, student management, financial management and financing, management of educational facilities and infrastructure, management of school relations with the community, and management of special services (library management, health management (UKS) , and school security management).

Abstract

This paper explains about Implementation of quality in Philip B. Crosby's perspective in school educational institutions. School ducational institutions are a forum that has the function to produce quality individuals. To be able to produce a quality generation, of course an educational institution must be quality. The quality concept offered by Crosby to be implemented in educational institutions is to have fourteen stages, namely Management Commitment, Quality Improvement Team, Quality Measurement, The Cost of Quality, Quality Awareness, Corrective Actions, Zero Defects Planning, Supervisor Training, Zero Defects day, goal setting, Error-Cause Removal, Recognition, quality councils and do it over again. The fourteen stages will be implemented in school educational institutions as an effort to achieve quality school educational institutions.

Abstract

Implementation of ISO 9001: 2008 quality management system will be a solution for educational institutions in dealing with problems and threats that can reduce the quality of educational institutions. Institutional marketing and student output generated through a good learning process will result in good academic and non-academic achievements. To realize a better quality educational institution, an institution should always evaluate the quality improvement program continuously, this system will become a strategic tool in increasing the institution's competitiveness in accordance with the demands of the times and the desires of customers, educational institutions as a form of service services are required to form good and capable human resources that are competitive in accordance with educational goals. Adopting the ISO quality management system and implementing its principles well will improve management within an institution so that its management is good and the performance of internal and external members can collaborate well to realize the goals of the institution in accordance with National Education Standards.

Abstract

Disruption brings fundamental changes in almost all aspects of life, changes are made by small institutions that are more agile and distributed, taking over the role of incumbents established. Disruption in education is defined as a new way that shifts the old way that is less relevant, such as technology, perspectives, approaches, teaching processes, instructional media, forms of classrooms and others. The reality of change creates a state of VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambiguous) where the world is very dynamic and difficult to predict. The old form of leadership is no longer able to deal with current changes, new leadership characteristics must be developed to face the future, addressing the needs and problems that arise from the uncertainty and ambiguity of the current situation. The study aims to discuss current literature and research on the characteristics of future leaders that are appropriate for responding to change. It also provides an overview of future leadership and provokes the birth of thoughts on leadership issues, especially in the field of education. The method used in in this study is concept analysis which is a study of important concepts interpreted by users or implementers in a variety of ways. Data collection techniques used were a review study of books, literature, notes, and journals related to the theme discussed. The result show that educational leadership characteristics need to be developed in face with change and VUCA environment.

Abstract

This paper discusses the concept of marketing in Islamic educational institutions. Along with the development of the times, the competitiveness of institutions of both Islamic education and not also increasingly developed and diverse. One of the main problems faced is the recruitment of new students each year. Each institution does a variety of ways to get the most students with certain strategies, one of which is to use marketing or marketing strategies. This paper is made by collecting data related to the title from various reference sources so that it concludes that marketing is an inseparable action from the efforts of Islamic educational institutions in increasing their input interest. However, from various existing marketing theories, Islamic educational institutions must be able to design marketing strategies that are unique and targeted so that they become differentiators from other marketing strategies.

Abstract

Total Quality Management (TQM) is the thought of Arman V. Feigenbaum which was originally used to improve the quality of high quality in achievement of business world and production company’s. This thinking then adopted and applied to the world system of education units to achieve the same thing, namely high quality improvements that emphasize customer satisfaction. Customers of this education world, in addition to students, are also involved parents guardians of students, as well as the government as the supervisor of education and curriculum makers. This research uses library based. This study carries quality in the perspective of Feigenbaum and its implementation in educational institutions with TQM and considers the five pillars of TQM implementation in the world of education. That is; customer focus, total involment, measurement, commitment, and continuous and continuous improvement. While barriers to implementation in the world of education that implement TQM can be found according to the thoughts of Sharples et al namely; commitment, education and training, application and practice, standardization and recognition.

Abstract

The research aims to (1) reveal the work motivation teachers in SMA Muhammadiyah 02 Tj. Sari Medan, (2) reveal the teacher communication at SMA Muhammadiyah 02 Tj. Sari Medan, and (3) reveal the contribution of work motivation to the teachers’ performance in high school Muhammadiyah 02 Tj. Sari Medan. Sample withdrawal is done by probability sampling technique using total sampling method, with the number of samples used is 27 people. Data is collected using a Likert scale that has been tested with validation and its reabilitations. Data in analysis with simple regression techniques. The results of the first hypothesis analysis showed that the correlation coefficient between the work motivation variable (X1) and performance (Y) amounted to 0.263 thus the relationship is relatively weak. Meanwhile, based on the above summary of visible coefficient of determination (R2) obtained from the calculation of 0.069 which gives the meaning that the work motivation (X1) contributes to the contribution of 0.069 x 100% = 6.9% against performance (Y).

Abstract

The implementation of teacher certification is expected to have an impact on improving the quality of learning and the quality of education on an ongoing basis. But the fact that often happens that the certification allowance often does not work with the initial goal for improving teacher performance. If you carefully examine the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 14 Year 2005 regarding teachers and lecturers, it will be seen that the law contains an increase in the welfare of teaching staff which is characterized by functional benefits, special allowances, and professional teaching allowances. Thus, this study aims to describe the performance of certified and uncertified teachers and find out whether there is a difference in the performance of certified teachers and uncertified teachers at the Yayasan Darul Falah Pajarakan Probolinggo. The results of research was found that; (1) the performance of teachers in the Darul Falah Pajarakan Probolinggo foundation is classified as good with a high categorization of 11.7%, a high of 82.3%, and a moderate of 5.8%, and (2) There is a difference between the performance of certified teachers with the performance of teachers who are not certified in the foundation fostered by Darul Falah Pajarakan Probolinggo as proven by the calculated F value of 13,147 with a significance value of 0.001 is <0.05.

Abstract

Social and religious behavior is the act of carrying out religious teachings carried out with full confidence and sincerity and implemented in the social area of ​​society. In management, especially in the organizational dimension, there is integration between the individual's vision and the vision of the pesantren as the organizer, which is why the activities organized by the pesantren are able to run dynamically. The activities organized by the pesantren as non-formal educational institutions have a positive impact on the surrounding community, although not all activities have the same impact as what happens in the pesantren study activities. The results of this study indicate that; first, the change in community behavior after attending a routine study at the Istiqomah Islamic Boarding School in Pasuruan is through several stages, namely pre-contemplation, contemplation, preparation, action and maintenance. Second, the results achieved from routine activities at the Istiqomah Islamic boarding school are; a) increased faith and devotion, b) able to perform worship properly and consistently, especially prayer, c) have a good religious experience as evidenced by a feeling of calm when and after practicing worship, d) high interest in studying religious knowledge, e) more has good manners in interacting with neighbors or fellow Muslims, and f) living life in peace.
