Pena Dimas: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat
Pena Dimas is a scientific multidisciplinary community service journal published by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of Malang. Pena Dimas Journal publishes journals twice a year, in April and October. Pena Dimas Journal is a journal that has a main focus on the development of sciences in the field of community service. The purpose of this journal publication is to disseminate conceptual thoughts or ideas that have been achieved in the field of community service and have not been published before.

The method used in community service is through socialization, training and mentoring. After the program is implemented, the product packaging is thicker so that the product is not easily damaged and new designs are more attractive to buyers. With the implementation of the community service program, it can help Mrs. Tamsuni to increase the sales of her products.]]>

<![CDATA[One of the tourist attractions of Malang City's Kedungkandang Village is Rolak Educational Park. The Kedungkandang community is in charge of managing and developing the park, which is located alongside the Amprong river. The appeal of Rolak Educational Park Tourism significantly decreased during the covid-19 pandemic. Increasing the viability of Rolak Educational Park Tourism as one of the tourist attractions in Kedungkandang Village, Malang City, is the goal of this act of community service. The approach employed is one of planning, carrying out, and supervising. A new icon at the Rolak Kedungkandang Educational Park was created as a result of this volunteer work in the community, which led to the creation of the first picture location. At the Rolak Educational Park, the creation of photo locations has boosted tourists' interest in exploring.]]>

<![CDATA[Bookkeeping is indispensable to find and measure the performance of MSMEs. MSME Fandafa Group, which is located in Pungging Village, Tutur District, Pasuruan Regency, still uses the manual recording method so it has not been well structured. This makes it difficult for business activities to develop properly. Based on these problems, KSM-Thematic Group 101 conducted training in making simple bookkeeping. This training aims to provide guidance for the MSMEs of the Fandafa Group to optimize profitability, operational analysis and the level of control, control and decision making. The method used begins by explaining the material and the importance of simple bookkeeping. The next stage is training in simple bookkeeping consisting of a cash book, inventory of goods, inventory of goods and income statement. The result of this training is that Fandafa Group knows the importance and how to make financial reports for the Fandafa Group to be more structured so that it can analyze business performance which in the end Fandafa Group can optimize its performance.]]>

<![CDATA[Patokpicis is one of the villages located in Wajak District, Malang Regency. In the village there is one historical site in the form of a tomb. The tomb is the tomb of Mbah Setyo Setuhu. This tomb is located in the Keramat Hamlet, Patokpicis Village. The tomb has its own history, especially for the residents of Ngadas Poncokusumo Village. This historical site has a story about the origin of hanacaraka. This tomb is often visited by residents and pilgrims, especially on certain nights, but is poorly maintained because it is far from settlements. The service implementation team has a program for preserving historical sites at the tomb with methods of socialization, education, and mentoring. The objectives of this program are: 1) Keeping the building looking a little tidier; 2) Maintain the environment so that the pilgrims are comfortable when visiting; 3) Introducing this historical site to the wider community. The result of this preservation program is that the tomb is cleaner and neater.]]>

<![CDATA[Banyu Rancang Rafting Tour which is located in Torongrejo Village, Batu City is experiencing problems in promoting tourism. This is the background for conducting socialization activities and marketing practices both through print and digital marketing media. Activities are carried out using socialization, training and mentoring methods. The socialization material is about digital marketing which is currently a trend to expand market potential. Then the training is carried out by practicing making banner designs and tourism promotion brochures which can later be printed and can also be uploaded on social media. Next is to create a Tiktok social media account and create video content to be uploaded on Tiktok social media accounts, as well as Facebook and Instagram that have been previously owned. The result of this activity is the addition of social media accounts from Banyu Rancang Rafting, namely Tiktok accounts, tourism promotional content videos, brochures both printed and online, as well as banners installed in various strategic places.]]>

<![CDATA[A clean environment will reflect the conditions of the people who live in it. Environmental empowerment is a shared goal that must be created together as well. This environmental empowerment activity is carried out through the work program of the Candidate Undergraduate Service (KSM-T) of the Islamic University of Malang which is an activity based on community service to increase student empathy for the conditions of society and the environment. The candidate for the Bachelor of Service (KSM-T) at the Islamic University of Malang was held in the Kitchen Manahayu Dusun Sumbersari, Giripurno Village, Batu City, using the methods of socialization, education and mentoring and evaluation. This program has succeeded in helping environmental protection in order to reduce the impact of environmental pollution and be able to maintain a healthy, beautiful and clean environment. In addition, the waste that is sorted in the trash can makes it easier for the waste management process at the final level.]]>

<![CDATA[This Community Service aims to organize a Teaching Basic Skills Refreshment Training for teachers of ibtidaiyyah Madrasah in Ambulu Jember, besides that the training participants are able to master the concept of basic teaching skills of teachers as a prerequisite for the implementation of the independent learning program in the classroom, and participants are able to change the views and attitudes of teachers who have a feudal character to the character of humanism teachers. The method used in this community service is to use the lecture method, question and answer and practice or direct simulation. The results of this programs findings obtained are that teachers in carrying out learning must have the ability of teaching skills which include first the skills of opening and closing lessons. Secondly, the skill of explaining the lesson. Third, the skill of asking. Fourth, skills give reinforcement. Fifth, the skill of holding variations. Sixth, the skill of guiding small group discussions. Seventh, individual/individual teaching skills. Eighth, the skill of managing classes.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service activity was carried out by the KSM (Bachelor of Service Candidate) participant team at Unisma Malang. The target partners are aimed at the elite handy craft wood industry craftsmen in Pandansari village, Malang district, which experienced a 50% decrease in orders from usual. Service activities begin with observations and interviews of target partners to find out their strengths and weaknesses and measure the opportunities and challenges faced by partners. Then a SWOT analysis was carried out and the form of service activities was determined, namely by providing socialization and training on global marketing potential through the Aexi.id marketplace application for elite wood craftsmen and the Pandasari Village community. Before and after the training socialization activities, pre-test and post-test were conducted to measure the level of program success. The results obtained are that the craftsmen and participants are able to understand the material and apply the Aexi.id application directly and it is hoped that it can be applied in sustainable marketing activities to increase the marketing of the products of the elite handy craft wood creative industry during this pandemic..]]>
