Pena Dimas is a scientific multidisciplinary community service journal published by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Islamic University of Malang. Pena Dimas Journal publishes journals twice a year, in April and October. Pena Dimas Journal is a journal that has a main focus on the development of sciences in the field of community service. The purpose of this journal publication is to disseminate conceptual thoughts or ideas that have been achieved in the field of community service and have not been published before.

<![CDATA[MSMEs in Sawojajar, Malang City, East Java Province are experiencing problems in developing their business, because they are not optimizing digital marketing creatively in marketing their products. With this training, it makes it easier for MSMEs to develop their business not only in the surrounding environment but can be recognized on a national scale. This activity aims to facilitate MSMEs who will develop their product marketing through Google Business and WhatsApp Business, so that MSMEs can use digital media professionally and reliably. With this activity, it is hoped that MSMEs in Sawojajar, Malang City, will be able to sell their products online and expand their market share outside Malang City. The method used in this activity is conducting situation analysis, needs analysis, providing training to MSMEs related to creative digital marketing, evaluating the results of the training, then conclusions and suggestions. The result of this activity is that MSME players have a Google Business account to make it easier to find their business location and can operate sales with Whatsapp Business and know how to increase sales on Whatsapp Business. This activity also provides benefits for lecturers at the State Islamic University (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang as implementers of the activity, so that they can implement the knowledge they have (especially digital marketing knowledge) to the wider community.]]>

<![CDATA[The exponential growth of technology compellingly compels MSMEs to adapt and seize opportunities particularly for potential MSMEs Pakisrejo Village, located in the Blitar Regency, is a developed village with MSMEs potential. Processed products such as Lompong chips, taro stalks utilized as animal feed, orange candy, and coconut sugar are among the most prominent categories of MSME enterprises. Nonetheless, lack of understanding regarding digitalization and restricted market access impede the growth of MSMEs in these villages. The objective of this service community program is to foster the growth MSMEs, with a particular focus on enhancing their market penetration through the strategic utilization of digital marketing. This initiative recognizes the potential of productive businesses to achieve this goal. The community service program step including Pre-implementation socialization, service preparation, service implementation, mentoring, and result evaluation. The result finding stated that this service community program was a success because 60% MSMEs that attended the workshop demonstrated the ability to apply the information that had been explained during the post-test. This is also accompanied by a surge in sales, as the utilization of a marketplace expands market penetration, enabling the product to reach a significantly broader spectrum of consumers.]]>

<![CDATA[Household financial management is the family's efforts to plan, implement, monitor and control the acquisition and use of family economic resources. Household financial management through simple bookkeeping is an important approach in managing family finances wisely. By recording income, identifying expenses, and planning a budget, families can control spending, increase savings, and achieve financial goals more efficiently. This service activity was carried out in Kalipare Village, Pitrang Hamlet. The majority of mothers in Kalipare village work as housewives so their income only comes from one source, namely their husband's salary. On the other hand, housewives never do simple bookkeeping in managing their finances, so their expenses are often greater than their income. Based on this problem, community service was carried out to the Kalipare village community to assist and provide outreach and education regarding cash management. This service aims to increase people's insight into the importance of financial management in the household so that failure in managing household finances does not occur. The methods used in socializing household finances are socialization methods, counseling methods, training and discussion methods, and evaluation. The results of household cash management outreach activities for the people of Pitrang hamlet are reducing problems in managing household finances and being able to help the community in preparing simple bookkeeping.]]>

<![CDATA[The role of teenagers is expected to accelerate the effectiveness and efficiency of BUMDes management because the phenomenon that occurs is that several BUMDes in Brebes Regency are not running optimally, one of which is because BUMDes managers are mostly from older people whose roles are more strategic and already have other activities so they lack management skills. and technically they need help from teenagers, one of which is in projecting their business units. The aims of this activity was to increase new skill and insight regarding optimizing BUMDes management using forecasting methods, increase the body of knowledge, and can become a reference for other parties who wish to carry out activities with a similar theme. The forms of activity include training on optimizing BUMDes management by delivering lectures, discussions and CBL or students can solve a case using the method that has been presented using the Forecasting Method. The implementation stages used are preparation, socialization, counseling, training and also evaluation. This article show results of succeeded increased the participants' skills and knowledge regarding managing Bumdes using the forecasting method with very good post-test results compared to the previous pre-test.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this service activity is to revive and tidy up this tourist spot so that it can be enjoyed by the general public, both local and outside the region. This is because this tourist spot has changed its function to become a resting place since the Covid-19 pandemic. Now the tourist spot wants to be reused as a tourist spot according to the wishes of the Kebon Alas hamlet community. The method of implementing this activity was carried out through socialization, education, training, and evaluation for residents of Kebonalas, Sukoreno, and Prigen hamlets. The results of this activity include an increase in community understanding of the importance of tourism awareness, which is evident through the community's enthusiasm to be more active in promoting this tourist spot by holding activities such as competitions and gymnastics at this place. In addition, the management of the management is improved properly, such as the expansion of the parking area, the addition of trash bins, and the addition of writings that can attract visitors, as well as promotion on social media, this tourist spot is increasingly widely known, as evidenced by the number of visitors who come to this place, both individually and in groups.]]>

<![CDATA[Risk mitigation is a strategic approach that aims to reduce or maintain the initial level of risk until it reaches a desired residual level. The main purpose of this skill is to equip students with the necessary abilities to effectively overcome obstacles that arise after high school studies. The method of implementing this service is by socialization, education, and evaluation related to Risk Mitigation in decision-making management carried out at SMA Negeri Unggulan Tapaktuan. Participation in this community service activity produces and makes students able to practice risk mitigation in decision-making management for the benefit of students in determining the study program and campus of their choice after senior high school studies. Participants of the activity understand the importance of knowing their interests and talents for the basis of decision making to choose a study program in college. Errors in making study programs can be prevented through analysis of academic grades obtained at school.]]>

<![CDATA[Gaming is currently a game that both children and adults are very interested in. If not anticipated as early as possible, these games can become addictive or dependent. So that children are not only good at playing games, it is necessary to have activities that introduce the process of making game applications. With this activity, children are not only proficient in running games but know the logic in making games. The mentoring activity of introducing game logic especially to children aims to introduce the concept of game logic to children. Another benefit of this activity is to introduce logic in learning basic programming skills. The method of service activities is carried out by interviewing, socialisation, training and evaluation methods. The implementation of this training consists of material exposure and practice which includes introducing the basics of Scratch and understanding the logic used to make games. The purpose of this service activity is the improvement of basic logic and programming skills in children, as well as increasing their interest in technology and game development. The children also developed social skills and collaborative skills during the workshop activities. The results of this community service activity include children being able to use the Scratch application to create simple games and understand basic programming logic. The activities carried out can improve programming skills. ]]>

<![CDATA[The inability of educators at the MTSN 2 Langkat school to understand changes to the independent learning curriculum has an impact on the inaccuracy of preparing learning modules that are in accordance with the changing curriculum. Many terms in the new curriculum require a new understanding and a change in learning focus which focuses more on developing student competencies and a sustainable learning process. The aim of this activity is to facilitate teachers and improve skills at MTsN 2 Langkat in designing learning modules that are in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum, so that the learning process can be planned effectively and optimally. The methods used in this activity are socialization, education, training and evaluation of the creation of teaching modules. The implementation of this community service has achieved an increase in the soft skills of educators in compiling teaching modules for the independent learning curriculum at MTSN 2 Langkat. The results of the implementation of PKM activities show that the training activities ran smoothly and the activity participants were enthusiastic in participating in the training. The positive benefits obtained from this activity include increased understanding of the independent learning curriculum as well as new knowledge related to preparing learning modules that are in accordance with the latest curriculum. This activity received good interest from partners because the material was easy to understand, right on target and the activity duration was adequate.]]>
