Tadulako International Journal of Applied Management with registered number ISSN 2684-9089 (Print) and 2987-1271 (electronic) is published by the Master of Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Tadulako University. It is published thrice a year in April, August, and December. Publish papers in applied management that contribute to the development of management science and management practices. We accept primarily research-based articles related to applied management science. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work discipline, work environment, and work motivation on employees’ performance at the Port Authority and Harbormaster Office Class II Teluk Palu. This study applied a survey type and causal descriptive using a research population of 80 civil servants at the Port Authority and Harbormaster Office Class II Teluk Palu where all employees are designated as research samples through the census method. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis. The result of this study indicates that work discipline, work environment, and work motivation variables simultaneously have a significant effect on employees’ performance at the Port Authority and Harbormaster Office Class II Teluk Palu, with a Sig-F value of 0.000 < α 0.05. The work discipline variable partially has a significant effect on employees’ performance at The Port Authority and Harbormaster Office Class II Teluk Palu with a Sig-t X1 value is 0.000 < α 0.05; The work environment variable partially has a significant effect on employees’ performance at The Port Authority and Harbormaster Office Class II PTeluk Palu with a Sig-t X2 value of 0.018 < α 0.05; and the work motivation variable partially has a significant effect on employees’ performance at the Port Authority and Harbormaster Office Class II Teluk Palu with a Sig-t X3 value is 0.029 < 0 α.05. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and customer value on inpatient satisfaction at Bhayangkara Hospital Palu City. The type of research was descriptive – verification. The research sample was inpatients at Bhayangkara Hospital Palu, which was determined by the purposive sampling method and totaled 105 patients. This study applied a multiple linear analysis method using SPSS software version 23. The results of this study indicate that (1) service quality and customer value have a significant effect on inpatient satisfaction at Bhayangkara Hospital Palu City, (2) service quality has a significant effect on inpatient satisfaction at Bhayangkara Hospital Palu City, ((3) customer value has a significant effect on inpatient satisfaction at Bhayangkara Hospital Palu City. Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of sharia marketing which consists of sharia products, sharia prices, sharia places, and sharia promotions towards customers' satisfaction of purchase decisions as a mediation variable at Sofie local food in Palu City. There were 96 respondents of customers at Sofie local food in Palu City involved in the research sample through the purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using SEM analysis assisted by the SmartPLS3 application. The results of the research show that sharia marketing has a significant influence directly towards customers’ satisfaction, sharia marketing has a significant influence on purchasing decisions, and purchasing decisions have a significant influence on customers’ satisfaction. While customers’ satisfaction indirectly has a significant influence through purchasing decisions, namely sharia products, sharia prices, and sharia places, the sharia promotion indirectly does not have a significant influence towards customers’ satisfaction of purchasing decisions. Abstract

This research aims to analyze the simultaneous or partially influenced variables of compensation, motivation, and organizational commitment on the performance of employees at PT. Citra Palu Minerals (CPM) in Poboya Village, Palu, Central Sulawesi. The research used a descriptive research type with a quantitative approach. The research sample used stratified random sampling. The type of data used in this research is quantitative which is collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation then analyzed using multiple linear regressions. The results of the research show that the variables of motivation, compensation and organizational commitment influence the performance of employees at PT. Citra Palu Minerals (CPM) in the Poboya Village, Palu simultaneously or partially. The significance value in the simultaneous and partial test obtained is smaller than the value of the level of significance (∝=0,05). Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of leadership and motivation, simultaneously influencing the employees’ performance at the Courthouse of Palu, Central Sulawesi and the influence of leadership partially on the employees’ performance at the Courthouse of Palu, Central Sulawesi. The population and sample in this study were the entire employees of the Courthouse of Palu, Central Sulawesi which were 60 people. The method of the study applied was descriptive through multiple regression analysis. The results show that leadership and motivation variables simultaneously have a significant influence on the employees’ performance of the Courthouses of Palu, Central Sulawesi, with an R-Square value is 0.611 on sig. 0.000. The leadership variable significantly influences the employees’ performance with a regression coefficient is 0.507 at sig 0.000; motivation notably influences the employees’ performance with a regression coefficient is 0.538 at sig 0.011. Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of Work Training, Additional Income, and Discipline of Employee towards the Performance of Civil Servants in the Regional Apparatus Organization in Palu city. The research sample were 118 respondents of Echelon III Civil Servants in Palu City who was selected through a simple random sampling technique. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the research show that work training, additional income, and work discipline simultaneously have a significant influence on performance of employee in the Regional Apparatus Organization of Palu city. Work training has a positive and significant influence on performance of employee in the Regional Apparatus Organization of Palu city. Additional income has a positive and significant influence on performance of employee in the Regional Apparatus Organization of Palu city. Work discipline has a positive and significant influence on performance of employee in the Regional Apparatus Organization of Palu city. Abstract

This research aims to determine and to analyze: The effect of organizational commitment and culture on organizational citizenship behavior through job satisfaction as an intervening variable in the work area of ​​the Association of Private Universities Region IXa Central Sulawesi (APTISI IXa Central Sulawesi). The research population was 1886 lecturers at private universities in the working area of ​​APTISI IXa, Central Sulawesi. Seeing the large population, this research used the Probability Sampling technique with the Slovin formula to obtain Proportional Random Sampling as many as 330 research samples. The results reveal that Organizational Commitment had a significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, with a P Value of 0.000 <0.05. Organizational Culture has no significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, with a P Value of 0.066 > 0.05. Organizational Commitment has a significant effect on Job Satisfaction, with a P Value of 0.000 <0.05. Organizational Culture has a significant effect on Job Satisfaction, with a P Value of 0.000 <0.05. Organizational Commitment to Organizational Citizenship Behavior, with a P Value of 0.000 <0.05. Organizational Commitment through Job Satisfaction has an effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior, with a P Value of 0.00001617 <0.05. Organizational Culture through job satisfaction has no effect on organizational citizenship behavior, with a P value of 0.76895864 <0.05. Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence electronic monitoring utilization of budget implementation, organizational commitment, and human resource competence on the performance of budget implementation (A Survey at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion of Central Sulawesi Province). The data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using the multiple linear regression method. The population in this research was all officials and staff related to budget management, as many as 52 people divided into 8 work units. The number of samples in this research was 43 respondents. The data analysis technique in this research used the IBM SPSS Statistics 21 program. The results show that using electronic monitoring of budget implementation, organizational commitment, and human resource competence simultaneously significantly affected budget execution performance. The results of the partial test show that the use of electronic monitoring of budget execution has a significant effect on the performance of budget execution, the partial test of organizational commitment has a significant effect on the performance of budget execution, and the partial test of human resource competence have a significant effect on the performance of budget execution. Abstract

This research intends to determine the influence of Entrepreneurial Marketing through Digital Marketing Capabilities on Marketing Performance in the New Normal era for MSMEs in Palu, Central Sulawesi. Explanatory research method was conducted. The types and sources of data used was primary data through distributing questionnaires to 197 respondents who became the sample of this research. The sampling technique used was the Yamane and Isaac formula. Hypothesis testing used was path analysis with Smart-PLS software. The results show that Entrepreneurial Marketing through Digital Marketing Capabilities has a positive but not significant influence on Marketing Performance in the new normal era for MSMEs in Palu, Central Sulawesi. Abstract

This research aims to find out the role of leadership from the perspective of intra-organizational communication at the Central Statistics Agency of Palu City. This research used a qualitative research method, to find out the facts and phenomena that occur regarding the leadership role from an intra-organizational perspective at the Central Statistics Agency of Palu City. The analysis consists of three stages, namely : data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The results of the research show that 1) openness, there is a very visible difference in the form of communication carried out by superiors to subordinates (section heads) with employees as the lowest ranks in the organizational level. 2) Empathy, the head of the Central Statistics Agency of Palu City has a high sense of empathy for the problems and work needs of his subordinates, and the situation is not conducive in the environment of the Central Statistics Agency of Palu City. However, for personal interests, the attitude of empathy from the leadership is still lacking. Support, the head of the Central Statistics Agency of Palu City has not fully provided support to subordinates while the support for the fulfillment of facilities and infrastructure is good. 3) Positivity, the work is given by the head of the Central Statistics Agency of Palu City to its employees is responded to with a positive attitude so the positive indicators at the Central Statistics Agency of Palu City are good. 4) Similarity, perception in work which is one of the keys to the success of employees, has been carried out well.
