Abstract

This research entitled "The Effect of Word of Mouth on Product Purchase Decisions at PT. Kedaung Medan Industrial LTD ". The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of word of mouth on product purchasing decisions and to find out how much influence word of mouth has on product purchasing decisions at PT. Kedaung Medan Industrial LTD. The sample in this study was buyers at PT. Kedaung Medan Industrial LTD, amounting to 50 people. The data collection technique used is using a questionnaire given to each respondent. Data is processed using SPSS version 20.0 for Windows. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression. The results of a simple linear regression test obtained the equation Y = 0.182 + 1.006 X + e, where word of mouth has a significant effect on the variable purchasing decisions. The determinant coefficient (R2) is obtained at 0.646 or 64.6%, which means that the word of mouth variable influences the product purchase decision, t test (partial), word of mouth or variable (X) has a tcount of 9.335> t table 2.011. Thus Ha is accepted because of tcount> t table. Therefore, it can be concluded that word of mouth or independent variables partially have a significant effect on purchasing decisions or dependent variables.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Work Stress variable (X) with Job Satisfaction variable (Y). The study was conducted at PT. Nusantara Card Semesta Medan. Data analysis uses the Simple Linear Regression equation. Then the significance test and determination test are held to find out how much influence the independent variable has on the dependent variable. R test results obtained r value of 0.799 where with a significant level of 5% (0.05) with a total sample of n = 32 people obtained rtab = 0.349, this means that rhit> rtab (0.799> 0.349) which indicates that the relationship between independent variables (X) towards the dependent variable (Y) is positive and the context is strong. T test results obtained thit = 7.281 while the value at n-2 is 30 at a significant level of 5% (0.05), is 2.042 and if thit> ttab is 7.281> 2.042, there is a significant effect between job stress on job satisfaction the employee. Determination test results obtained by the contribution of work stress on employee job satisfaction by 63.84% while the other 36.16% is influenced by other factors not examined based on the correlation above, then the hypothesis proposed in this study can be tested for truth.

Abstract

This study aims to determine PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero), Tbk. Pulo Brayan Unit Medan. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the Internal Control System for Cash Receipts and Disbursements at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero), Tbk. Medan Pulo Brayan Unit. From the results of this study it can be seen from the total cash receipts and disbursements in 2010 that it is very clear that an internal control system is needed to avoid fraud. Internal Control System for Cash Receipts and Disbursements at PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero), Tbk. Medan Pulo Brayan Unit has not been fully effective in carrying out internal oversight of cash receipts. Seen from the duties and responsibilities carried by the teller who often performs multiple tasks, because the teller can perform the task of receiving and spending money and inputting data to the computer. This can make an oversight system ineffective. In addition, this company does not make cash deposits every day at the branch office. While the internal control system for cash disbursements has been effective because it is carried out entirely based on authorization from the branch office to determine the amount of operational costs to be incurred. Suggestions proposed by researchers for companies to make the separation of duties and responsibilities clearly to avoid any deviation from the person himself.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of entrepreneurial competence, business development, and product innovation on the development of culinary business. This type of research is explanatory research, with data collection techniques through questionnaires and interviews. The sampling technique uses saturated sample techniques. The sample is 83 culinary businesses. This study uses quantitative analysis techniques. Quantitative analysis uses validity test, reliability test, simple regression analysis, coefficient of determination, significance test (t test). From the t-table test (t count> t table or 8.12> 1.99), so that the entrepreneurial competency variables influence the development of the culinary business. Suggestions that can be given in the study for culinary entrepreneurs in Harjosari I Village, to continue to develop themselves and their business through learning and experience. Not just entrepreneurship, but also important to have entrepreneurial competence. Learn more and take part in entrepreneurial seminars or workshops as an addition to entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This study aims to find out, analyze and empirically prove the Service Quality of the Compliance of Corporate Taxpayers at the Lubuk Pakam Tax Service Office. The population of this study is the taxpayers registered in the Pratama Lubuk Pakam Tax Office totaling 8.235 taxpayers spread across 22 sub-districts in Deli Serdang Regency. The sampling technique used was proportional random sampling by distributing questionnaires, and respondents who returned the questionnaire were 99 corporate taxpayers. Testing the research data using simple linear regression analysis, partial tests and determinants. The results of this study indicate that Service Quality partially proved to influence the Compliance of Corporate Taxpayers at the Lubuk Pakam Primary Tax Service Office.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the potential and empowerment role of the convection home industry in increasing community household income, and to determine the SWOT analysis of strategies used to increase household income in Binjai city. The background of this research is that in the 2020-2024 RPJMN, one of the macro targets is to improve the processing industry, one of the agendas is to strengthen quality economic defense by encouraging MSMEs. This research method is descriptive qualitative accompanied by a SWOT analysis. The analysis technique used is descriptive method and SWOT analysis, the formulation of a strategy that is processed from the weight of the identification results of the SWOT factor. The results of the calculation of the SWOT analysis of the total IFAS are higher than the total EFAS. The strategy to increase the business of the research object is in cell I Growth is namely the Backward integration or Forward integration strategy. In order to increase its business strength or competitive position, Burn Ash Convection must make efforts to minimize costs and inefficient operations to control the quality and distribution of products.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine and analyze the Effect of the Covid-19 Transformational Leadership Style on Employee Job Satisfaction at the South Medan Samsat. Data research design, descriptive and quantitative. The population in this study is the total number of employees at the South Medan Samsat in 2021, amounting to 61 people. The sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. Where the primary data from observations, interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and simple linear regression. The results of simple regression analysis are Y=2,062+1,188X+e which shows that transformational leadership style has a positive and significant effect on employee satisfaction. while the results of the (t) test or partial test show that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect. Regarding employee job satisfaction, it can be seen that the value of tcount =(24,458) > ttable (0,045). Then the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.955 (95.5%). So it can be said that the variation of the dependent variable, namely transformational leadership in the model, can explain the variable job satisfaction of employees at Samsat Medan Selatan, while the remaining 0.045% is influenced by other variables outside the model.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of customer’s knowledge, motivation, and promotion towards the choice of health insurance products at PT Asuransi Prudential Syariah Branch Binjai. The data in this research is used by collecting 34 quetioners of insurance customers. And then the data is processed and analysed. In this research, quantitative methode is used to know the effect, so multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and determinant analysis are used. Based on the research, the result is customer’s knowledge has no effect towards the choice of health insurance products, motivation has a effect towards the choice of health insurance products, and promotion has a effect towards the choice of health insurance products. Based on F-test the result is the value of Fhitung is 4,959. The value of Fhitung is more than the value of Ftable 2,922, so it can be know that customer’s knowledge, motivation, and promotion simultaneously have a significant effect towards the choice of health insurance products at PT Asuransi Prudential Syariah Branch Binjai.

Abstract

This research is a field research located at the SAMSAT Lubuk Pakam Office, Deli Serdang Regency. The data collection instrument in this study was through observation, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis used by the author consists of data reduction (data reduction), data presentation (data display) and drawing conclusions (verification). This research is about public complaints about the provision of SAMSAT Lubuk Pakam services, including the lack of an unbalanced number of apparatus (public servants) with the community, the absence of a service queue serial number, the lack of parking space, the open space is not closed, not air conditioned, mineral water is not provided. in the waiting room, the waiting room is too narrow, there is no glass divider for services and there are no wifi and TV facilities so that those who pay taxes don't get bored waiting. Because the number of people who pay with the number of apparatus (public services) is not balanced. From the results of the research, the reliability and guarantees provided by the SAMSAT officers were considered very good by the taxpayers and in accordance with the expectations of the taxpayers, so that the taxpayers were satisfied with the services of the SAMSAT officers. Efforts made by SAMSAT Lubuk Pakam to obtain service quality in increasing taxpayer satisfaction include improving services through information technology, providing mobile SAMSAT services (cars), increasing professional human resources and providing optimal services, improving service facilities so that excellence is achieved. , providing counseling and socialization about motor vehicle tax to taxpayers at both the sub-district and district levels.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh komitmen organisasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai kantor Pos Regional 1 Medan Timur. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode Sampling Jenuh, yaitu teknik penentuan sampel bila semua anggota populasi digunakan sebagai sampel yang berjumlah 78 orang. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil uji hipotesis secara simultan (Uji F) variabel komitmen organisasi dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja????â„Ž????????????????????>???????????????????????? (11,027 > 3.12). Pada uji hipotesis parsial (Uji T) variabel komitmen organisasiterhadap kinerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan (????â„Ž????????????????????2,7986> ???????????????????????? 1,665)(0,007<0,05), variabel disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja tidak berpengaruh dan tidaksignifikan (????â„Ž???????????????????? 1,059< 1,665) (0,293>0,05). Hasil uji determinasi diproleh nilai Rsquare sebesar 0,227. Artinya variabel kinerja dapat dijelaskan sebesar 22,7% olehkomitmen organisasi dan disiplin kerja, sementara sisanya 77,3% dijelaskan oleh variabellain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini.
