Abstract

This paper aims at the effectiveness of the application of the WFh (Work Form Home) work system on the performance of employees at the Medan City Office. In the Medan city education office itself, it has implemented a Work Form Home (WFH) work system that has been running for one year, where only part of the employees who work at the location continue to apply health protocols by always using masks and maintaining distance in carrying out their duties. Meanwhile, some other employees carry out official duties in their respective homes, this is done alternately from day to day. In implementing the Work Form Home (WFH) work system, of course, it has an impact on employee performance problems because it cannot be directly supervised by the institution. Performance problems are seen from various aspects such as the ability of ASN employees to complete their work even though they have to work at home and the improvement in the results that should be obtained for work by employees. Work quality, work motivation and work morale that affect the performance of ASN employees, especially in the Medan City Education Office. The results showed that the WFH (Work Form Home) system implemented at the Medan City Office was less effective in improving employee performance.Keywords: Department of education, effectiveness, performance, work from home (WFH)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of quality of alumni performance in Islamic Economics majoring in Islamic Economics based on stakeholder satisfaction as consumers, knowing the various attributes that need improvement to be able to improve the quality of graduates with providing recommendations to the department to improve the quality of graduates. The research approach in this study uses a mixed method which is a combination of quantitative and qualitative research with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Data obtained from stakeholders will be analyzed with descriptive statistics, then visualized in the form of tables, graphs and diagrams. The results showed that stakeholders were satisfied with the alumni performance  and in general stakeholders gave a good assessment of the performance of graduates. Attributes that need to be improved to improve the quality of alumni are communication skills, professionalism, leadership and mastery of technology. Recommendations to the departments to improve the quality of graduates is to support graduates' communication skills by preparing language legalization with TOEFL certificates and public speaking practices and leadership skills, the ability to complete professional certification required by the company. And to increase professionalism more practice, especially in accordance with the educational qualifications for the world of work.Keywords: Alumni, performance, stakeholder, perception

Abstract

The study, entitled Implementation of Zakat Village Index in Selat Besar Village Communities, Bilah Hilir District, Labuhan Batu Regency. This study aims to answer questions about the feasibility of Selat Besar Village, Bilah Hilir District, Labuhan Batu District in receiving zakat funds by BAZNAS. This research uses mixed methods, which is a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. The analytical tool used is the Zakat Village Index or IDZ with the calculation of the multi-stage weighted index method. This study aims to analyze the Selat Besar village and measure whether it is prioritized to be assisted by zakat funds or not. The results showed that Selat Besar village was categorized as Good with a value of 0.54 and was interpreted to be included in the Fairly Good category, which means that the Village of Selat Besar could be considered to be assisted by BAZNAS with zakat funds.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how much influence the inflation, economic growth, and unemployment of the previous period against the level of open unemployment in Indonesia. The research method used is quantitative method with OLS (Ordinary Least Square) method. Data analysis technique using multiple linear regression model supported by classical assumption test. The results showed that the coefficient of determination (R square) of independent variables on the dependent variable is 0.847 or 82.8%. This indicates that the variables Inflation, Economic Growth and Unemployment previous period. can explain the level of Unemployment in Indonesia amounted to 82.8% while the rest 7.2% explained by other factors. From the results of partial significance test variable inflation rate is obtained t count of 0.046996 <2.069 of t table so it can be concluded that the variable that inflation does not significantly affect the unemployment of Indonesia. While for economic growth variable obtained by t count equal to -0.400057 <2,069 from t table so that can be concluded economic growth not significantly affect unemployment in Indonesia. While the previous period unemployment variable obtained t count value of 11.23190> 2.069, it can be concluded that the previous period unemployment significantly affect Indonesia Unemployment. While the results of the simultaneous significance test, then obtained the value of 44.51053> 3.03 and also can be seen in the value of probability is smaller than the level of significance (α) 5% or 0.000000 <0.05 then it can be concluded that Inflation, Economic Growth and Unemployment previous periods simultaneously affect the unemployment rate in Indonesia.

Abstract

Existence of coffee shops now  in the Medan city has greatly increased. Of course this triggers competition between coffee shops, so that every coffee shop owner must think about their efforts to face their competitors. Then an optimal marketing strategy is needed. To determine the optimal marketing strategy, game theory is used using the 7P marketing mix strategy, namely Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Process and Physical Evidence. The coffee shops that are the object of this study are the DWS Coffee Shop and the Khup Kupi Coffee Shop. In assessing the marketing strategies used by each coffee shop, the researcher distributed a questionnaire to a number of coffee shop customers, therefore the researcher used Probability Sampling. The analysis technique used is descriptive test, validity test, reliability test and game theory which are processed using POM QM 5.0. From the results of the research that has been tested, it was found that the DWS Coffee Shop won the Price, Process, and Physical Evidance strategy, while the Khup Kupi coffee shop won the Product, Place, Promotion and People strategy. In this study, the results showed that both coffee shops have a saddle point of 788, which means that the two coffee shops have tight competition. And in this study also according to the results of the test results of the DWS Coffee Shop and Khup Kupi Coffee Shop simultaneously using Physical Evidance with points of 1 indicated.

Abstract

Strategy Sales Growth Financing Bank Syariah melalui Take Over dari Bank Konventional Berdasarkan Prinsip Syariah. Penelitian ini untuk menjelaskan bagaimana cara perbankan syariah dapat berkembang lebih baik lagi dengan melakukan pembiayaan secara take over (pengalihan hutang) atau hiwalah sesuai dengan alternatif yang ditawarkan oleh fatwa DSN MUI Nomor : 31/DSN-MUI/VI/2002 tentang pengalihan piutang. Penelitian ini menggunaan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan (library research) dimana data-data diperoleh dari buku, jurnal, maupun catatan penelitian terdahulu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fatwa DSN-MUI Nomor : 31/DSN-MUI/VI/2002 memberikan 4 alternatif dalam melakukan take over. 4 alternatif tersebut merupakan rangkaian akad qard, ijarah, murabahah, syirkah al milk dan ijarah muntahiyah bit at tamlik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the perception of waqif on cash waqf at BWI North Sumatra. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, by taking the object of research at BWI North Sumatra. As the research informant, Nazhir from BWI North Sumatra, the waqif. This study explains that there are 5 indicators used to measure the perception of waqif, namely internal indicators consisting of income, understanding and external indicators, namely information media, convenience and benefits of cash waqf at BWI SU. Based on the results of the data questionnaire assessment, that 73.3% of waqif stated that it was good from the income indicator. This means that waqifs have a good perception of cash waqf that the more prosperous the community, the greater the potential for cash waqf. From the indicators of understanding, 46.7% of waqifs said they were good with cash waqf. That is, waqif has a good perception of cash waqf in terms of understanding so that awareness arises in advancing the Islamic economy through cash waqf. From the information media indicators, 43.3% of waqif stated that they were neutral towards the perception of waqif in terms of access to information media. This means that BWI SU should further promote information media through online media in the digital era. From the convenience indicator 46.7% waqif answered well. This means that waqifs have a good perception of the convenience provided in accessing BWI SU for cash waqf collection transactions for waqifs. From the benefits indicator 56.7% waqif answered well. This means that waqifs have a good perception of the benefits of cash waqf, which can train the social spirit and help people in need.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influential strategies in the development of Ucok Durian's business. In this study, there were several strategies that were carried out in the preparation of research. Program development strategies to determine and achieve company goals and implement their mission. The type of this research is descriptive research with qualitative approach, using SWOT analysis method, analysis made to know the strength, weakness (weakness), opportunity (opportunity) that open to company and some threats (Treath) which is identified. From the results of research based on interviews found that durian shoot is a strategy ranging from improving product quality, determine the characteristics of the product, and also determine the model dansu of the products it sells. In the price, Durian pricing sets the price starting from positioning the product through price and quality and also setting price and benefit for the consumer. At the strategy stage, Durian idioms choose places ranging from choosing a strategic location, a comfortable place, and meeting places for consumer convenience. In the promotion strategy, Durian urges a promotional strategy ranging from founders of billboards or banners, installing branding, mascots and slogans, and using social media for online promotion. Based on SWOT Analysis, durian ucok business has weakness (Weaknesses) that is promotion that is not used specifically, do not use technology, and goods are sold only one product. However, the durian cuttings still have strength (Strenght) to improve the condition. To develop businesses that need to be done is to maintain product quality, increase service, and increase product sales.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the ratio of capital, assets, earnings, liquidity on profitability (ROA) at PT. Aceh Sharia Bank. This study uses a quantitative approach with data sources from secondary data. This study uses a documentation study research method using data from financial balance reports, profit sharing distributions and financial ratios on a quarterly basis from 2011-2020 at PT. Bank Aceh Syariah, Tbk the analytical technique used is multiple linear regression test using SPSS 25.0 analysis tool. The results of this study indicate that partially (T test) the CAR variable has a positive and insignificant effect on Return On Assets (ROA) at PT. Bank Aceh Syariah, Tbk with a tcount of 1.224 and a significance probability value of 0.229. NPF has a positive and significant effect on Return On Assets (ROA) at PT. Bank Aceh Syariah, Tbk with a tcount of 3.255 and a significance probability value of 0.003. BOPO has a negative and significant effect on Return On Assets (ROA) at PT. Bank Aceh Syariah, Tbk with a tcount of -17,140 and a significance probability value of 0.000. And FDR has a negative and insignificant effect on Return On Assets (ROA) at PT. Bank Aceh Syariah, Tbk with a tcount of -0.407 and a significance probability value of 0.686. In this study, the more dominant variable that has an influence on the profitability of Return On Assets (ROA) is the NPF variable. And simultaneously the variables CAR, NPF, BOPO, FDR have a significant effect on Return On Assets (ROA) with a significant value of 0.000 and the Fcount value of 97.495 or greater than the Ftable value of 2.64. The value of the coefficient of determination is 91.8%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of public perception related to the decision to use the community on the joint responsibility system. The background of this research is that many people in Laut Dendang Village have joined as members of PNM Mekaar. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in this research amounted to 51 respondents. Collecting data in this study using questionnaires distributed through google forms, interviews, and distributing questionnaires. The results of the data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires and questionnaires were studied using multiple linear regression tests. Data analysis shows that the perception of trust and need has no influence on people's decisions to use the joint responsibility system. The risk and financing variables indicate the number of community decisions to use the joint responsibility system.
