Abstract

ABSTRACT The Qur'an is the book of Allah that every believer must believe. Faith in the book of Allah is one of the three pillars of faith. Belief in the Al-Quran must be proven by studying it and teaching it to others. Allah SWT has sent down the AlQuran as the book of the last days and has become the first and foremost source of Islam. The Qur'an is the holy book of Muslims that was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad as a guide for mankind. A Muslim is required not only to be able to read the Qur'an fluently, but also to be able to understand, appreciate, and practice its contents in the behavior of everyday life. Being able to read the Al-Qur'an is an important requirement that must be mastered in studying and understanding the material of the verses of the Al-Qur'an. The qiroati method in increasing the ability to read the Koran in extracurricular activities is a method that is fundamentally oriented towards the ability to read the Koran, that learning to read the Koran is learning to listen to the recitation of the Qur'an well, learning to imitate it. , learn to recognize symbols of the written Al-Qur'an, learn to read or pronounce these symbols and learn to improve their reading according to the rules of tajwid which are applied in the framework of a process that is deliberately designed to create learning activities in individuals that are carried out outside of class hours (curriculum) to develop the potential of human resources (HR) that students have. Abstract

ABSTRACT The modernization of pesantren is an approach for long-term solutions to various problems of Muslims today and in the future. Therefore, the modernization of pesantren is an important part of the birth of modern Islamic civilization. However, the results of the modernization of pesantren cannot be felt in just one or two days, but it requires a long process that will at least take about two generations. As a long process, pesantren modernization requires a clear and definite conceptual framework, so that it can lead to ideal pesantren. In the last decade, there has been a shift experienced by pondok pesantren. The Jami'atul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, which is more familiarly known as the JMU Pesantren, places a high priority on the quality of the students. The implementation of modernization of Islamic boarding schools in building civil society at the Jami'atul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, namely Kiai is no longer the only source of learning. The variety of new learning sources is getting higher, the dynamic of communication between the pesantren education system and other systems allows students to learn from many sources. Almost all pesantren provide formal education. There is a need for students to have diplomas and mastery of certain skills. There is a tendency for students to study science and technology. Learn with education costs and living costs in each month or quarter. Seeing the historical background and typology of pesantren, the characteristics and dynamics of the development of pesantren as a unique Islamic educational institution will directly or indirectly face the challenges of the times. The development of science has become an integral part in the efforts of Islamic boarding schools to respond to the challenges of the times. Abstract

ABSTRACK Morals are the main focus when someone acts and acts in social life. A person's good morals do not appear automatically but need to be nurtured and taught from an early age. Many factors can shape a person's character to be good or bad, including the factor of family as a person who is always beside him and has a direct influence on his / her environment. Education is essentially an effort to pass on values, which will help and determine mankind in living life, and at the same time to improve the fate and civilization of mankind. There are 3 problem formulations to be studied in this thesis, namely: (1) How is Moral Education in K.H. Ahmad Dahlan and K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari? (2) What are the differences and similarities of K.H.Ahmad Dahlan and K.H.Hasyim Asy'ari's Moral Education? and (3) How is the relevance of K.H.Ahmad Dahlan and K.H.Hasyim Asy'ari's Moral Education to Islamic education today? Therefore, moral education is very important during the modernization era like today. This is due to the development of technology and changing lifestyles. If moral education is not instilled in students from a young age, it is possible that students will plunge students into something that is not desired by the wider community. Therefore, the objectives of education are at least divided into two, namely education aimed at developing mental / spiritual aspects and education in a physical / physical nature. The purpose of education is trying to form a person with good quality physically and spiritually. Thus, conceptually education has a strategic role in shaping students to become qualified human beings, not only quality in terms of skills, cognitive, affective, but also spiritual aspects. Here the author will discuss moral education according to two very prominent figures. Apart from being the founders of the most influential Islamic organizations in society, they are also two figures who have more or less similarities and differences, namely K.H. Ahmad Dahlan and K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari. Keywords : Pendidikan Akhlak, KH. Ahmad Dahlan, KH. Hasyim Asy’ari

Abstract

ABSTRACT Universally, the existence of pesantren has a dual purpose. First, it maintains Islamic values with an emphasis on the educational aspect. Second, Islamic boarding schools have a role and function in improving public education as an effort to improve the quality of human resources in order to form a society that behaves and understands Islamic values. To obtain valid and correct data, the authors used a qualitative research approach. Meanwhile, the informants were community leaders and pesantren alumni. Researchers make direct observations of the object of research, and the type of research used by researchers is a type of case study research. The results of the research conducted by the researcher were that there were two processes in social change that occurred in the research location, first, community leaders held religious activities aimed at providing an understanding of the community about how to live life according to religious teachings, the second was community leaders implementing the values of pesantren life as a form of practice of what has been taught in activities that have been held. The factors that cause social change in society are caused by the community itself and caused by the occurrence of modernization. As for the impact of social change that occurs is an increase in public awareness of education, especially religious education. Keywords: Islamic Boarding School Education, Community Social Change

Abstract

ABSTRACT In the context of finding the ideal Islamic education concept, it is a moral responsibility for Muslim scholars to come up with Islamic theory as a paradigm of educational science. Islam as an educational paradigm has different characteristics from other paradigms that underlie the concept of education. It is a must (a must), especially for scientists who are concerned in the field of education, to reconstruct a paradigm building that can be used as a basis for the education system. The Islamic paradigm alternative is a wise choice in the framework of the foundation of the educational paradigm based on the values of the Qur'an. Paradigmatic or conceptual development of Islamic education has been carried out by both Muslim education experts and scientists. Syed M. Naquib Al-Attas is known as a prominent Muslim scientist and thinker, founder and Rector of ISTAC Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, who has fundamental thoughts about the concept of Islamic education. Among the fundamental educational concepts of Syed M. Naquib Al-Attas, which is stated in this paper, is his concept of ta'dib. For him the fundamental problem in Islamic education is the loss of the values of adab in a broad sense. This is due to the unclear understanding of the concepts of tarbiyah, ta'lim and ta'dib. Syed M. Naquib Al-Attas prefers to use the term ta'dib for the concept of Islamic education, because if the concept of ta'dib is applied comprehensively, integrally, and systematically in Islamic education practice, various problems in developing Muslim human resources are expected to be resolved. The basic reason for the application of the concept of ta'dib is adab is closely related to science, because knowledge cannot be taught or transmitted to students unless that person The concept of Islamic education which is only limited to the meaning of tarbiyah and ta'lim has been penetrated by the Western world view which is based on the values of dualism, secularism, humanism, and sufism so that the values of adab are increasingly blurred and getting farther from the values of divine wisdom. The reconstruction of the concept of Islamic education carried out by Syed M. Naquib Al-Attas aims to return Islamic education that has been contaminated and interfered with by the concept of secular Western education to the concept of education that is in accordance with Islamic ideals that have existed since the Prophet Muhammad SAW was sent as an Apostle. The concept of ta'dib which was formulated by Syed M. Naquib Al-Attas, really has high relevance and significance to be implemented in the world of education. Because basically it is an educational concept that intends to integrate the dichotomy of science, maintain equilibrium, have moral and religious characteristics. Key Words: Epistemology, Education, Islamic, Thought.
