Jurnal Kajian Manajemen Dakwah is a scientific journal published by Dakwah Management Study Program of State Islamic Institute of Parepare. JKMD focuses on Dakwah issues in Southeast Asia, including Local Culture Dakwah, Dakwah Management, Dakwah for Development, Dakwah for Islamic Moderation, Dakwah Feminism and Contemporary Dakwah. We invite scientists, scholars, researchers, and students to develop their scientific papers and publish their research after the selection process of the manuscript, review, and editing process. JKMD will be published twice a year, the publication period is from January to Juny and from July to December. The Accepted Papers will be available online in open access.

Abstract

The research focuses on the role of LAZISMU Parepare in disbursing infaq funds for small business empowerment, the research objective is to determine the role of LAZISMU Parepare in distributing infaq funds for small business empowerment and the impact of the distribution of infaq funds on small business empowerment. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The data analysis technique used is both inductive. To test the validity of the data through triangulation, the triangulation used in this research is data triangulation, method and theory triangulation. The results showed that the distribution of infaq funds for empowerment that had been carried out by LAZISMU was very felt and beneficial for small businesses

Abstract

This study discusses the Islamic values ​​contained in the mappacci stage. This research is intended to answer the problem: how is the procession of implementing the mappacci tradition? What are the Islamic values ​​contained in the mappacc stages? How does POAC function in the implementation of the imappacci tradition? This study uses a sociological approach to communication. The research data sources are primary data sources and secondary data sources. Furthermore, the data collection method was carried out through four stages, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the research, the preparation and procession in the mappacci ceremony is a Bugis Patampanua tradition whose implementation uses pacci leaves which are a form of hope and prayer for the welfare and happiness of the prospective bride and groom, which are arranged in a summary of nine types of equipment. Pillows, silk covers, jackfruit leaves, banana shoots, pacci leaves, rice, candles, pacci holders, brown sugar and coconut. Thus the meaning contained in the equipment in the mappacci ceremony which is always carried out at every wedding of the Bugis Patampanua community. The implementation of the mappacci ceremony contains a symbolic meaning of cleanliness or holiness which aims to cleanse the soul and body of the prospective bride and groom before navigating the household ark. Based on the conclusions from the results of the research, the researchers suggest: The Bugis Patampanua community still maintains the culture that has been inherited from their ancestral culture and it is hoped that the younger generation can preserve the culture, where the culture of the traditional mappacci wedding ceremony of Bugis Patampanua contains values ​​and meanings of life messages that aim to good. Enriching the repertoire of local culture, with the demands of Islamic teachings so that there are no elements of polytheism and things that deviate from the true teachings of Islam, thanks to the arrival of Islam has given a new color to the Bugis tribe in Patampanua District, Pinrang Regency, especially the mappacci procession

Abstract

This study discusses the analysis of the services of the Ministry of Religion of Pinrang Regency in increasing the satisfaction of pilgrims. This type of research is qualitative. Collecting data using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. While the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that: (1) The Office of the Ministry of Religion of Pinrang Regency has provided forms of congregational services, namely administrative services such as registration of prospective pilgrims for Hajj and cancellation of Hajj, guidance for Hajj rituals, transportation services, accommodation services, consumption services, and health services. (2) The satisfaction of prospective pilgrims with services at the Office of the Ministry of Religion of Pinrang Regency, namely the community is very satisfied with the services provided to prospective pilgrims who come to the office to register prospective pilgrims and so on. Employees at the Pinrang Regency Ministry of Religion in serving the community are also friendly and polite in speaking. The facilities and infrastructure at the Pinrang Regency Ministry of Religion are quite good

Abstract

This study focuses on the implementation of lailatul qadar activities at the Taqwa Mosque in Parepare City, the purpose of this research is to find out how the management of lailatul qadar activities in gluing ukhuwah Islamiyah congregations, and to find out things related to the sunnah prayer activities carried out on the night of lailatul qadar at the Taqwa Mosque in Parepare City. The research used is descriptive qualitative method. The approach used is a qualitative approach with qualitative data types and primary and secondary data sources. The data collection technique used in this research is the technique of observation, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the condition of the ukhuwah Islamiyah congregation of the Taqwa Mosque in Parepare City was quite good, but sometimes there were misunderstandings/disputes that resulted in breaking the ties of brotherhood to one another. The importance of implementing mutual understanding, mutual help, mutual respect, mutual trust and responsibility so that solidarity is maintained properly

Abstract

This study focuses on zakat management (BAZNAS) in improving the welfare of the people of Enrekang Regency, the purpose of this study is to determine the management of zakat in Enrekang Regency in improving the welfare of the people of Enrekang Regency. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. Collecting data using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis processing techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the zakat management of BAZNAS in Enrekang Regency, although zakat in Enrekang Regency has decreased in 2018 compared to 2017 but the infaq of BAZNAS in Enrekang Regency has increased in 2018 compared to 2017 that zakat management in terms of zakat utilization by BAZNAS Enrekang has been running. and the benefits have been felt, but this research has not been able to measure the success of improving welfare and reducing poverty. The inhibiting factors are that socialization has not been maximized, the role of UPZ has not been maximized, lack of knowledge about amil, lack of public awareness in paying zakat..

Abstract

This study discusses the management strategy of the Al Azhar Islamic Centre Parepare mosque. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of mosque management strategies at the Al Azhar Islamic Centre Parepare mosque and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in increasing the comfort of worshipers at the Al Azhar Islamic Centre Parepare mosque. This type of research uses a qualitative approach in collecting data using the methods of observation, interviews and documentation. The data sources are from mosque administrators and mosque congregations. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The theory used is strategic management theory and SWOT analysis theory. The results showed that the management of the Al Azhar Islami Centre Parepare mosque implemented a management strategy through the stages, namely (1) environmental analysis, strategy formulation, strategy implementation and strategy evaluation which were very helpful in implementing management strategies at the Al Azhar Islamic Centre mosque. (2) the supporting factors that occur at the Al Azhar Islamic Centre Parepare mosque are good management cooperation and communication, the support from the congregation and also supported by an adequate financial budget. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is the improvement of mosque facilities, namely the wudhu and mosque toilets which have not yet been realized and other obstacles are also regarding the safety of the mosque.

Abstract

This study discusses the empowerment of mosque administrators in managing congregations. The purpose of the study was to find out how to empower mosque administrators in managing congregations and to find out supporting factors and inhibiting factors in managing congregations. by conducting previous observations and collecting data as well as interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Empowerment of the management of the Al-Irsyad mosque exists and has a portion according to the rules of the ministry of religion while the empowerment of mosque administrators is not based on physical building but also non-physical which means how mosque administrators can prosper the mosque and build facilities needed by the congregation as well as to build the mindset of the congregation so that they can become better. 2) Supporting factors in managing congregations are the existence of funds, zakat, adequate facilities, a lot of assistance from the community, and the harmony of the management and congregation, and the strategic location of the mosque, there are also inhibiting factors for the congregation who are still less focused and management management is still lacking. communication.

Abstract

This study aims to find out what methods a preacher uses in developing religious activities and to find out what religious activities are carried out in Tangru Village, Malua District, Enrekang Regency. This study uses field research (Field Research) in collecting data about the methods used by da'i in developing religious activities in Tangru Village, Malua District, Enrekang Regency and library research (Library Search) in collecting data on da'wah methods. The data from this study were obtained from primary and secondary data, with data collection and processing techniques used, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. There are two theories used in this research, namely the theory of religious awareness and the theory of behavior. The results showed that not all da'wah methods were used by a Da'i in Tangru Village, Malua District, Enrekang Regency, only a few methods were used such as bil-Hikmah, bil-Lisan, and bil-Qalam da'wah methods. As for some religious activities carried out in Tangru Village, namely routine studies every Friday night and Tahsin learning. Abstract

This research aims to find out the mosque management system that is applied during the pandemic and the new normal at the mosque in the city of Parepare. This research uses descriptive research that reveals and identifies the phenomenon that occurs. The approach taken is a qualitative approach with the type of data used being primary and secondary data. The results of the research can be stated that mosque management is generally a process or effort to achieve the prosperity of the ideal mosque carried out by a mosque leader together with the mosque manager and the congregation through positive activities. So that mosque management during the covid-19 pandemic is mosque management that includes elements of conception and behavioral change in relation to health determinants. In the new normal era, the management of the mosque that is implemented is a change in behavior to continue to carry out normal activities but must follow health protocols to prevent the spread of covid-19 so as to have a positive impact on the community because the mosque is not only a place of worship but also a place of social education for the surrounding community

Abstract

This study focuses on the management of the modern rahmatul asri Islamic boarding school in instilling discipline in students. The purpose of this study was to determine the management system applied at the Rahmatul Asri Modern Islamic Boarding School in instilling discipline in students. This study uses a descriptive field research that is to reveal and identify the phenomena that occur. The approach taken is a qualitative approach with the types of data used are primary and secondary data. The results showed that the level of discipline of students regarding obedience and compliance with all rules and regulations, was classified as good and the management applied in instilling discipline in students was in accordance with the concept of management. The students at the Rahmatul Asri Modern Islamic Boarding School have a friendly attitude, smile, polite, humble and understand mutual respect and respect for others. All kinds of directions that are conveyed, both written and unwritten, they are carried out on the basis of seriousness and full responsibility
