Abstract

S. frugiperda is a pest that attacks corn plants by eating young shoots/leaves. Leaves that are attacked by S. frugiperda will have many hoisting holes from the edges to the inside. If the attack of S. frugiperda is not immediately controlled, the losses will be crop failure. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of several concentrations of B. bassiana on the intensity of pest attack and mortality of S. frugiperda larvae on maize. This research was conducted in the green house laboratory of Billfath University using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of five treatments and four replications. The concentrations of B. bassiana used included K1= negative control (without application), K2= B. bassiana 5 ml/L, K3= B. bassiana 15 ml/L, K4= B. bassiana 25 ml/L and K5= positive control (Chemical insecticide Tiamethoxam 25%) 0.01 g/L. The results showed that the application of the fungus B. bassiana with a concentration of 25 ml/L was effective in controlling S. frugiperda pests on maize (Zea mays L.) which resulted in an attack intensity of 12.50% and larval mortality of 95%.. Abstract

Utilization of fruit peel organic waste into bio-compost is one of the countermeasures of the harmful impacts on health or the environment. Therefore, the technique of making compost with the basic ingredients of organic waste is anaerobic and physical analysis of the composting results is carried out. This research was conducted in December 2021 – March 2022 at the traditional markets of Sekaran Village and Jangkungsumo Village. This research is classified as exploratory using purposive sampling technique. The results obtained are that in the composting process there are several stages including composting, fermentation and compost burial. On the physical characteristics that have been analyzed in compost made from organic waste, the fruit skin has a blackish color like soil, then has a dense and crumbly texture and smells of earth. This has met the compost standards that have been determined.

Abstract

Environmental problems are important to overcame. This is related to the resulting problem. Pollutants can make natural conditions unbalanced. One of environmental problems is presence of water used for washing clothes. Alternative water pollution reduction need conducted with acidic conditions. Acidic conditions can be play a role as cleaner so conducted research with peels orange fermented. The aim of research is fin out character peels orange fermented as reducer clothes washing contamination. The research carry out to conducted character peels orange fermented as reducer clothes washing contamination. The research methods are descriptive qualitative and quantitative. This type of experimental research is used in this study. The result showed that character peels orange fermented was sour smell from peels orange dominant and brown orange color. The result of fermentation was pH (3.20) and temperature 30.2 ?C at T40. Pollutants clothes washing contamination test with peels orange fermented at T5 for pH and temperature respectively 4.14 and 33.5 ?C.

Abstract

The metric space is one of the most important designs in the field of functional analysis. In 2007 Huang and Zhang introduced the concept of a metric space into a cone metric space. They have proved several fixed point theorems for contraction functions using cone normality. The aim of this study is to examine the singularity of the common fixed points in the cone metric space for pairs of expansive functions. This research was conducted using the literature study method, namely by analyzing and outlining the designs already available in the literature. Furthermore, from this study it can be proven that the onto (surjective) function that satisfies the contractive condition in the cone metric space has a single fixed point together.

Abstract

Groundwater is part of the hydrological cycle located below the earth's surface in the pores and crevices of rocks and soil. Water scarcity is increasing around the world and the need for water presence is increasing due to growing demands in several fields. Geologically, Sekaran District is composed of alluvium formations where this formation consists of kerakal, gravel, silt sand, clay, local fragments of fossil shells and mud. This study was conducted to determine the quality of groundwater reserves based on the value of solute solids. The method carried out by taking water samples in the wells of residents' houses in Sekaran District.After data processing was carried out, it was found that the quality of groundwater reserves based on the value of dissolved materials in Sekaran District ranged from 50-950 ppm and based on electrical conductivity values ranging from 100-2000 ?S/cm.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to explain how al-Khwarizmi's theory of algebra. Al-Khwarizmi's algebraic theory introduces a geometrical algebraic approach. In the book fi al-jabr wa al-muqabala, al-Khwarizmi gives an initial definition of squares, roots, and numbers. Al-Khwarizmi made three main principles of algebra through this definition. One of the principles discussed in this article is that the square plus the root equals the number (x2 +bx = c).

Abstract

Determining Break Even Point (BEP) in a production is an important thing to do. BEP analysis is used as a basis for profit planning. By knowing the Break Even Point (BEP), management can determine the amount of production or sales that must be made according to the profit target to be achieved. The research method used is literature review (literature study). Data collection techniques using secondary data taken from the Kaggle site. Data analysis uses descriptive statistics with the help of the python program. In certain cases, the production costs or selling cost is not a linear function. So it is necessary to form a mathematical equation through regression. The model is evaluated using MAE, MSE and R2. Determination of BEP is done by forming the equation of production costs and selling costs which are then solved by the Newton Raphson method. The results of this study are the regression method and Newton raphson can be used as an alternative in determining the BEP for cases that are not linear.

Abstract

The development of increasingly sophisticated and digital information technology. Fast and real-time communication by utilizing technology to exchange data using a high internet connection. WiFi (Wireless Fidelity) serves to send and receive radio waves or electromagnetic waves in a free medium to be transmitted. Technological developments are expected to have a centered antenna beam orientation in a certain direction with a high gain value. High gain values ??with a centralized antenna beam can be achieved using a microstrip antenna with an array system. In this study, a rectangular 1x4 microstrip patch antenna array was designed with a rectangular slot and a T slot on the groundplane with a working frequency of 2.4 GHz made from FR4 substrate with a dielectric constant of 4.6 with a thickness of 1.6 mm, in order to get a higher gain value. compared with the single antenna from the previous study. The antenna design will be simulated using CST 2021 software. In this antenna design, 3 methods are used, namely Finite Element Method (FEM), Spectral Domain Technique (SDT), Finite Integration Technique (FIT). So that the results obtained from the antenna criteria are as follows: Return Loss -40,404 dB, VSWR 1,019, Bandwidth 4.029%, Gain 11 dBi, and the radiation pattern is directional.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the maximum profit in Islah Convection. This study used the Kuhn-tucker method. The Kuhn-tucker method is a method used to determine the optimum value of a function with an inequality constraint. The steps of this research are forming decision variables, forming objective functions, forming constraint functions, forming mathematical models with linear programming, solving optimization problems using the Kuhn-tucker method, and drawing conclusions. The results of the completion of this study obtained a maximum profit of Rp. 273,562,325 in the production of 4 types of clothes, which include 200 units of male school uniform, 200 units of female school uniform, 60 units of alma mater coat, and 30 units of katelpak. . Based on the results of the optimization, it can be concluded that the profit of clothing production in Islah Convection is optimal

Abstract

Unbalanced environmental conditions are a problem that must be overcome. The presence of pollutants is one of the conditions that cause the environment to be unbalanced so that it needs to be handled. Pollution of the aquatic environment needs attention because the impact given is quite troubling. An alternative that can be done in reducing pollutants in waters is to use liquid treatment from fermentation of organic waste. The content of fermented fruit peel waste is believed to reduce the content of water pollutants. The organic material fermentation method is used to remodel substrates from fruit and vegetable peels into certain products through chemical reactions that occur. The purpose of this study was to determine the pH, TSS, BOD, and COD values with and without papaya and apple peel fermentation liquid. The method developed in this research is descriptive quantitative. The results showed that the addition of papaya peel fermentation liquid to contaminated water resulted in pH, TSS, BOD, and COD parameter values of 2.56+0.18, 320.00+24.05 mg/L, 803.54+66.25 mg/L, and 2832.54+65.21 mg/L, respectively. The addition of apple peel fermentation liquid to contaminated water resulted in pH, TSS, BOD, and COD parameter values of 2.87+0.18, 770.00+38.20 mg/L, 1707.53+70.12 mg/L, and 11291.87+241.97 mg/L, respectively.
