Abstract

Beneng taro a raw material used in the production of taro-based products, is managed by the Women Farmers Group in Tanjung Kulon Village, Pabuaran District, Serang Regency. However, the management of waste generated during the production process is currently suboptimal, as it is immediately disposed of into the environment. This improper waste management poses a threat to both human well-being and the natural ecosystem. The right to a clean and healthy environment is guaranteed by Article 28H, paragraph (1) of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. The activities conducted aim to empower women farmer groups to effectively manage the waste produced during their production activities, thereby contributing to sustainable development. Through waste and packaging materials awareness campaigns, the women farmer groups have shown enthusiasm for adopting environmentally-friendly production practices.

Abstract

Despite the fact that narcotics are essential for treatment and health care if they are taken improperly or outside the parameters of prescribed therapy, it leads to drug abuse. People who need assistance include drug addicts and those who have been the victims of drug abuse. The rehabilitation procedure, specifically medical and social rehabilitation, is the help in this situation. Drug addicts and victims of drug abuse must be safeguarded. For the treatment and recovery of drug addicts and victims of drug abuse, rehabilitation is preferable to incarceration. Medical rehabilitation can be seen of as an endeavor to treat drug addicts and victims of drug abuse in this case, which is relevant to the issue of medical rehabilitation. This study employs a normative juridical method in the study of law. Primary and secondary data are used, and they are both subjected to quantitative analysis. The study's findings are as follows: Based on the findings of an integrated assessment, legal rehabilitation is carried out. An integral aspect of law enforcement's response to drug misuse crimes is integrated assessment, which advises law enforcement on whether to offer drug addicts recovery programs. Second, rehabilitation efforts are the main focus when dealing with drug addicts, drug abusers, and drug abuse victims. Because this will lead to therapy or activities to be made to remove narcotics, it is necessary to sort out the definitions of drug abusers, addicts, and victims.

Abstract

The International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families, established in 1990, provides general regulations for the legal protection of migrant workers. Indonesia has adopted this convention by ratifying it through Law No. 6 of 2012 on the Ratification of the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families. The protection of Indonesian migrant workers involves three stages: pre-employment protection, protection during employment, and post-employment protection. These stages require direct involvement from the state in providing adequate protection. The International Law Department of the Faculty of Law at Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, in collaboration with the Pabuaran and Sindangsari Villages in Serang Regency, Banten Province, conducted a community service program that offered legal services to villages that serve as sources of migrant workers within the Untirta Sindangsari campus.

Abstract

In terms of political involvement and contestation, civil and political rights can be a perfect measure of political democracy. Indonesia must report its steps to put the ICCPR's provisions into effect as part of its commitment to become a state party. One of the actualizations of the ICCPR's grassroots implementation relates to the socialization of civil and political rights of the community at the village level. The Abdimas team from the International Law Department, Law Faculty, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa chose Lontar Village in Tirtayasa as the focus of their legal community service projects.
