This research is quantitative research with quasi experimental design. This research  was  carried out in the ninth  grade students of MTsN 1  Medan academic  year 2020/2021. The total number of population was 426 students, and the researcher took 37 students for experimental class and 36 students for control class, which means 73 students as total of the sample. To collecting data in this research, the researcher used written tests as the instrument. The tests were pre-test was given before the treatment and post-test which was given after the treatment. The data in this research obtained were analyzed by using t-test with 5% (0,05) significance level. Furthermore, the researcher found that the mean score of post-test in experimental class was higher than the mean score of post test in control class (77,92>71,11). The t-test result also presents that t0  (4,434) was higher than ttable    in the significance level 5% (0,05) with the degree of freedom 71 is 1,667. Therefore, t0 result >ttable generated that H0 (null hypothesis) was rejected and Ha (alternative hypothesis) was accepted. The calculation of effect size was 1,04 which in the range of effect criteria included to strong effect. It means, Dictogloss strategy has significant effect on the students’ writing ability in narrative text at ninth grade students of MTsN 1 Medan

Hangman game is considered to be one of the most effective techniques to improve students’ vocabulary mastery. The formulations of this research problem as follows: 1) How are the students’ vocabulary mastery before being taught using Hangman game? 2) How are the students’ vocabulary mastery after being taught using Hangman game? 3) Is there any significant difference in students’ vocabulary mastery between students who are taught  by using  Hangman games and  those who  are taught  by using  the conventional technique? The method used in this study is quantitative method with quasi experimental research design. The researcher chose VII-2 as the experimental class and VII-3 as the control class. The findings of this research show that teaching vocabulary using Hangman games technique was effective. It can be seen by the t- value (3,649) is higher than t-table (2,024) with 5% (0.05) significance level and the Sign. (2 tailed) is 0.001 with alpha (α) was 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). Hence, Ho (Null Hypothesis) was rejected and Ha (Alternative Hypothesis) was accepted. It showed that there was a significant difference using the Hangman games technique on student vocabulary mastery.

Children's creativity is a potential that must be developed through the educational process. This study aims to describe the implementation of the mind mapping model in developing children's creativity in akidah akhlak lessons. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive study method. The background of this research is in SDN 068003. Observation techniques, interviews, and document studies are three research data acquisition techniques. Then, the data were analyzed using an interactive analysis model, through the steps of data collection, data sorting, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the application of the mind mapping model makes it easier for educators during the thematic learning process, because it stimulates students to develop their creativity based on the spirit of group learning. Likewise, there are obstacles in implementing the learning model, namely the low focus of students in group activities, difficulties for teachers to control student learning behavior, and some students like to disturb their friends.

Abstract

The importance of choosing a learning model. A good learning model can be used to make the teaching and learning process more effective, meaningful and enjoyable. So that students will get learning outcomes that can meet the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). But the fact is that teaching and learning in class is still not optimal in using learning models. Based on these problems need an update. One of the meaningful, effective, and fun learning alternatives that can be applied in developing student competencies is to use the STEAM-based project based learning model. The formulation of the problem in this study is "Does the STEAM-based project-based learning model affect student learning outcomes in class IV energy transformation material at MIN 6 Bireuen". The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the STEAM-based project based learning model on student learning outcomes in class IV energy transformation material at MIN 6 Bireuen. This study uses a quantitative approach. This type of research is quasi experimental design. The population in this study were all MIN 6 Bireuen students while the samples were all 20 grade IV students. Data collection techniques used tests, while data analysis techniques used SPSS Statistics 25 by using normality tests and to test hypotheses using paired sample t-tests. The results showed that the significance value (2-tailed) on the test was 0.000 <0.05, where the average value of the learning test results was 85.5. The average value obtained by these students can fulfill the KKM. So it can be said that there is an influence of the STEAM-based project-based learning model on student learning outcomes in energy transformation material

In collecting the data, multiple choices were used as the instrument for pre-test and post-test. In giving treatment, experimental class was taught by Crossword Puzzle Game, while control class by teaching center learning. The data collected was analyzed using SPSS v.20. The results showed that the mean score of post-test in experimental class (85) was higher than Control class (75.5). Thus, the result of t-test also showed (2.656)> (2.024), and the Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.011< α =  0.05  which  means  there  was  significant  difference  result  between  the  use  of Crossword Puzzle Game and without Crossword Puzzle Game. It means      is accepted because sig. < α = 0.05 and      is rejected. Further, the result of the analysis showed that teaching reading in narrative text by using Crossword Puzzle Game is effective.
