Abstract

PT. Yogyakarta Art Creations is an industry that produces paint, shoes, jeans, which are divided into two materials, foam and canvas. This company has two types of shoe paint which are produced, including types of paint made from canvas and paint made from leather with various colors. The raw materials needed in the manufacture of these paints include water, color pigments, paint reinforcers, paint fasteners and special mixtures for make canvas paint and leather. in each period of one month there can be up to 700 pcs of products with different types of products, with a total income of IDR 125,000,000 each month. However, from February 2023 to March 2023, the company experienced a swelling of raw materials that did not match the predetermined data, so it was necessary to plan shoe polish production in order to determine the appropriate supply of raw materials for each period. The Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method is used to determine what materials or components must be made or purchased, how much is needed and when it is needed. Based on research that has been carried out through several data processing, it can be concluded that raw material inventory control is carried out by forecasting based on past data requests (February 2022 to March 2023) and then the lotting technique used to assist the MRP calculation process is the Method Lot for lot (LFL), Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), and Period Order Quantity (POQ).

Abstract

Umkm Dharma Coffee is a medium to lower business engaged in processing coffee beans into coffee powder. The problems that arise are defective products such as inappropriate weight and damaged packaging containers. From data from July to December 2022, with a total production volume of 2,760 pcs, there were 219 product defects, including 141 defective product defects and 78 damaged packaging container defects. Therefore, to reduce the number of product defects, it is necessary to support the company's management and production employees. The purpose of this research is to find out the causes of product defects using the Seven Tools method and statistically mapping the problems in order to see corrective actions that must be taken based on the factors that cause product defects using the Failure Mode And Analysis (FMEA) method. From the results of the SOD analysis, it was obtained that the highest RPN value was 36 in the damaged packaging container. The recommendations for improvement given are that companies must implement clear SOP, conduct job education and training for employees so that later they can maximize the production process in the company.

Abstract

Dipo Bakery is a small and medium business engaged in the food sector, namely the sweet bread processing industry. The average number of production during October 2022 - March 2023 was 48,941.68 pcs, the average overproof defective product during October 2022 - March 2023 was 2,688.16 pcs, the average defective product size did not match during October 2022 - March 2023 as many as 4,949.33. Statistical Quality Control is a technique used in controlling and managing both manufacturing and service processes using statistical methods. Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to find out the main causes of product defects and provide appropriate improvement suggestions. Based on the results obtained, it shows that there is no data that crosses the upper control limit (UCL) for overproof defects at 0.168844 and for defects of unsuitable size at 0.251876 as well as the lower control limit (LCL) for overproof defects. at point – 0,. So, it can be concluded that the damage to the production process of the sweet bread variant is still under control within the control limits. obtained the highest RPN value of 105 with the cause of haste.

Abstract

PT Madubaru PG Madukismo is one of the sugar companies in Padokan, Tirtonirmolo, Kasihan, Bantul, Yogyakarta. In its production needs in one process the production machine covers a capacity of 30,000 quintals per day. The need for sugar for consumers per month is 11,816 tons with sugarcane as much as 164,165 tons, but because PT Madubaru Madukismo has limited land available only 230,000 tons, the company takes from farmers directly to meet its production capacity. In 1 truck, the average can load 56 quintals / truck, it also depends on the condition of the truck and the condition of the sugarcane. from June to November 2022, there was a shortage of raw material stocks of 754,990 tons and a shortage of additional materials of 301,595 liters from June to November from the need for use of 361,914 liters. So using engineering techniques in Material Requirement Planning can be used in planning the amount and scheduling of raw material needs in the company, because it can produce two very important decisions, namely in the form of lots to be ordered and when is the right time to place an order. Techniques that can be used for raw material scheduling, one of which is by using the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) method or raw material inventory planning system, Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Period Order Quantity (POQ) where from these methods which is more effective for determining future raw material scheduling.

Abstract

Demand forecasting is one of the company's efforts as a basis for making strategic business continuity decisions. The condition of fluctuating demand makes the stock in PT. Margo Mitro Joyo becomes excess or runs out. Based on conditions it is necessary to forecast the demand for LKS. So that stock buildup that occurs at PT.Margo Mitro Joyo can be overcome. From the problems above, the purpose of this research is to find out the number of forecasting requests for Student Worksheets (LKS) in the next period. The analysis was carried out using 2 time series methods , namely weight moving average and single exponential smoothing. So obtained for demand forecasting respectively 971,025.62 and 994,421.12. and then determined by taking into account the smallest error value.

Abstract

Machines play a crucial role in a production process, highlighting the need for maintenance to ensure their proper functioning. The methods employed include Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), and distribution determination. The repair times for each CMYK component are as follows: the bearing component requires 93.541 hours or 4 days, Griver needs 163.235 hours or 7 days, the seal requires 195.349 hours or 9 days, the linner pen needs 248.803 hours or 10 days, and the ink tank needs 260.123 hours or 11 days.

Abstract

FHR assessment aims to detect early fetal emergencies that can cause death. Laennec is a technology-based tool for monitoring fetal well-being to gather information and identify pathological conditions in the fetus through assessment. The Covid 19 pandemic, which requires maintaining a minimum distance of 1 meter from patients, requires the design of Laennec Bluetooth technology. The purpose of this study for the purpose of this study was to design a bluetooth laennec for examining the fetal heart rate. The method of this research is research and development, namely the Arduino Uno-based Laennec Bluetooth design displays the number of fetal heartbeats (FHR) in real time and continuously in Beats per Minute (BPM) size on the LCD screen attached to the device and can also be displayed on an Android smartphone via applications that are already installed in it which is connected via bluetooth. The monitoring system is designed to automatically monitor and measure FHR. Measurement of FHR uses the MAX4466 Sensor and Arduino Uno as a data processor. Laennec Bluetooth testing by comparing the measurement results with the original Laennec which is made of aluminum by comparing the error values. Based on the test results on 5 pregnant women with a gestational age of more than 20 weeks as a sample conducted by Lennec Bluetooth and measurements made directly with Laennec, the average percentage error was 0.31%. The Bluetooth range on Laennec Bluetooth is a maximum of 14 meters because at the time of the inspection it was in a closed room which was insulated by a wall.

Abstract

In the current era, the development of the creative music industry in Indonesia is so fast where competition between the creative music industries is getting tougher every day. This does not only apply to large companies, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) but also participating in the competition. This study aims to apply the marketing mix to increase sales of Dimdim Musik guitar products in Baki, Sukoharjo. The results of this study are that there are 2 influential variables, namely price variables, promotion variables and 5 variables that not affect product sales, namely place variables, people variables, product variabels, process variabel, physical evidence variabel.

Abstract

Welding workshop is a business engaged in iron and mild steel welding services. The welding workshop, which has been established since 2000 until now, often produces flower pot racks of various shapes and sizes. In the initial observation, production activities were carried out less than optimally due to the inefficiency of moving material, the distance of movement, causing delays in product processing. In this study the method used by researchers is the systematic layout planning method with the aim of producing a more efficient flow through layout design by paying attention to the sequence of a process relationship to each activity that occurs. Based on the Systematic Layout Planning method, there are proposed layouts with distances between departments that are shorter or closer to the distance between departments, with a comparison of the distance between the initial layout of 16 m and the proposed layout of 11.37 m.

Abstract

Palm oil is an industrial crop which generally enters its unproductive age at the age of 21 and must be cut down at the age of 25. But there are also those who, at the age of 16, are no longer productive due to various factors, such as seeds or infertile soil. The stems of this oil palm plant are considered as waste and are usually used only as compost. This study attempts to analyze the characteristics of palm wood planks and compare them with the boards commonly used for making furniture in UMKM. In this case the furniture board used as a comparison is the meranti board. Meranti wood is classified as class IV wood. From the results of the study using the ASTM D638 standard for tensile testing, it was found that the strength of palm wood aged 16-20 years was 4.47 MPa, palm wood aged 21-25 years was 14.41 MPa and Meranti wood was 56.58 MPa. The SNI 03-3958-1995 standard for compression testing obtained the compressive strength of 16-20 year old palm wood of 9.93 MPa, 10.05 MPa of 21-25 year old palm wood and 24.86 MPa of Meranti wood. Standard SNI 03-3959-1995 for flexure testing showed that the strength of palm wood aged 16-20 years was 4.50 N/mm2, palm wood aged 21-25 years was 21.17 N/mm2 and meranti wood was 28.13 N/mm2.
