Abstract

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge of hypertension and compliance with chronic disease service programs at the Wanareja II Community Health Center, Cilacap Regency. Methods: This type of quantitative research with a correlational research research design (correlational research). The sample in this study were all participants in the chronic disease program with hypertension as many as 124 people, with the sampling technique using random sampling technique. Bivariate analysis was performed using Kendal's tau test. Bivariate analysis using Kendal's tau obtained Sig. (2-tilled) of 0.000 is less than alpha 0.05 which means there is a significant relationship between knowledge of hypertension and compliance with chronic disease service programs. Results : There is a significant relationship between knowledge of hypertension and compliance with the chronic disease service program at the Wanareja II Health Center, Cilacap Regency. Conclusions: Health workers in these areas are expected to be more active in providing insight to the community, especially participants in chronic disease service programs.

Abstract

Purpose: this study was to describe the knowledge of self-care in patients with hallucinatory mental disorders such as bathing, dressing and decorating, eating and drinking, defecating and urinating, nail clippers, and toothbrushes. Methods: this research is a quantitative descriptive method using a cross sectional design. The sample in this study were 20 respondents with hallucinatory mental disorders at the Mentari Hati Tasikmalaya Foundation. Results: description of self-care knowledge in hallucinatory patients with 20 respondents. In the female sex, as many as 15 people got an average self-care knowledge of 34%, while in men there were 5 people with an average more than women, namely 35. For the average self-care knowledge of men and female is 34.5. Conclusion: this study shows that self-care knowledge in hallucinatory mental disorder patients is lacking.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship between dietary adherence and blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at the UPTD Panawangan Health Center.  Methods: This research method uses a cross-sectional study approach, with a sample of 80 respondents, as well as a proportional random sampling technique, and the measuring the instrument used is a questionnaire and a digital blood sugar checker (Easy Touch GCU 3 in 1). Results: The results of the analysis of this study showed that most of the respondents adhered to the diet as many as 41 people, did not comply as many as 39 people. The results of the statistical analysis of Rank Spearman obtained that Ha could be accepted. Conclusion: This study concludes that there is a relationship between dietary adherence and blood sugar levels in diabetes mellitus patients at the UPTD Panawangan Health Center, Ciamis Regency.

Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between mothers' knowledge about nutrition and weight gain of stunting children in the Lumbung Public Health Center, Ciamis Regency. Methods: The quantitative research method uses a correlational analytic design with a retrospective approach. The population in this study were all mothers who had to stunt children under five in the Lumbung Health Center working area of as many as 65 research samples. The data collection method used a questionnaire, with chi-square data analysis. Results: The results showed that 33 children experienced weight gain with the criteria of good maternal knowledge, with a statistical test p-value of 0.000 <0.05. Conclusion: There is a Relationship between Mother's Knowledge about Nutrition Giving and Wight Loss for Stunting Children in the Lumbung Health Center Work Area.

Abstract

Purpose: this study was to determine the relationship of social media to beauty insecurity in generation z women. Methods : The method is quantitative, with a cross-sectional approach, data collection using a questionnaire distributed through Google form. Participants in this study amounted to 50 respondents. This research was conducted in March 2022. Results: the results of the study, out of 50 respondents who do not actively use social media, only 3 people (6%) had a positive impact. While active users of social media are 47 people (94%) with 16 people (32%) getting a positive impact from beauty insecurity and 31 people (62%) getting a negative impact from beauty insecurity. The most widely used social media is WhatsApp as many as 50 people (100%) while the least used is Facebook as many as 26 people (52%). It can be seen that the majority of women from generation z are active users of social media as many as 47 people (94%). Of the 50 respondents with the highest score, 38 (76%) felt the negative impact of beauty insecurity and the results of the Chi-Square statistical test obtained -value (0.003) < value (0.05). Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that the highest frequency of the negative impact of beauty insecurity is 38 respondents with 76%. The social media with the highest frequency is WhatsApp with 100%. Thus, there is a significant relationship between social media and beauty insecurity in generation z women by obtaining a value (0.003).

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to find out about Ciamis Village. Method: This study uses correlational analytical methods with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this study totaled 99 respondents. Samples were taken using technique sampling quotas and data collection using Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE) questionnaires and the International Physical Activity Questionnaire Short Form (IPAQ-SF). Data analysis was performed with a chi-square test. The study was conducted in March–April 2022. Results: Based on the results of the study out of 99 respondents there were 48 elderly (98.0%) with less activity experiencing cognitive decline, 1 elderly (2.0%) with less activity having a normal cognitive function, there were 44 elderly (88.0%) with good physical activity having a normal cognitive function, and 6 elderly (12.0%) with good physical activity experiencing a decrease in cognition is a live function. From the results of the chi-square test, it shows that there is a relationship between physical activity and the cognitive function of the elderly in Ciamis Village. Conclusion: Based on the results of this study it was found that better physical activity performed by the elderly results in normal cognitive function or maintenance of cognitive function, conversely if less physical activity results in a decrease in cognitive function.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship between loneliness and nomophobia among S1 nursing students at STIKes Muhammadiyah Ciamis. Methods: The method used in this research is quantitative research with a correlational approach. The population in this study was 132 undergraduate nursing students at STIKes Muhammadiyah Ciamis. Sampling is done using the G*Power application. The number of samples in this study was 42. The research was conducted on March 28–29, 2023. Results: The results showed that the picture of loneliness in students mostly experienced moderate loneliness, as many as 20 respondents (47.6%). The picture of nomophobia students mostly experienced moderate nomophobia; as many as 17 respondents (40.5%) The results of the data analysis show a p-value of 0.692 > 0.05. Conclusions: This study concludes that there is no relationship between loneliness and nomophobia among S1 nursing students at STIKes Muhammadiyah Ciamis.

Abstract

Purpose: The goals of IV care are to maintain aseptic technique, prevent bacterial invasion of blood vessels, prevent infection, and observe the IV insertion site. Method: This research uses descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The sample from this research was 42 respondents, taken using G-Power statistical calculations. The population of this study was 42 respondents. March– April 2022 Results: It shows from 42 respondents that 20 actions are appropriate and 22 actions are not appropriate for infusion treatment in the disease unit in the Ciamis Regency Regional Hospital. Conclusion: Based on the survey conducted, there were no infusion treatments that were not carried out because they did not or did not have an SOP for infusion care at Ciamis Regional Hospital, so the results obtained were 20 actions in accordance with the SOP and 22 actions not in accordance with the SOP

Abstract

Hallucinatory disorders are one of the nursing problems that can be found in patients with mental disorders. One of the most common types of hallucinations is auditory hallucinations. Auditory hallucinations can be ringing sounds or noises that have no meaning, but are more often heard as a meaningful word or sentence. One therapy for hallucinations is Group Activity Therapy (TAK). Objective: To determine the effect of group activity therapy sessions 1-2 on controlling hallucinations. Methods: This study uses a quantitative method with a quasi experiment. Sampling with purposive sampling technique is as many as 6 respondents. This study was conducted on March 15-23 2022. Results: showed that patients with hallucinations were able to control hallucinations after the implementation of TAK Sessions 1-2 with the results of comparative analysis, the pretest 3.7, posttest 8.4 and p value=0.01. Conclusion: there is an effect of group activity therapy sessions 1-2 on controlling hallucinations in hallucinating patients.
