Abstract

Professional teachers are those who are qualified, competent, and teachers who desire to bring about learning achievement and can influence the teaching and learning process of students which will result in good student learning achievement. Teachers or educators are true leaders, wise guides and directors, figures, and leaders of the ummah. Teachers are professional educators with the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, assessing, and evaluating. Teachers are professional educators with the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, assessing, and evaluating students in primary and secondary education. as well as students in primary and secondary education. This study aims to determine the effect of professional teachers on learning achievement in economic subjects in class Kelas VIII SMPN 2 Jerowaru. The type of research used in this research is descriptive research. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMPN 2 Jerowaru and the sample was 22 students of class VIII. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is the "r" test. Based on the research results, the analysis obtained shows that there is an effect of teacher professionalism on learning achievement in economic subjects in class Kelas VIII SMPN 2 Jerowaru. This can be proven from the data that has been collected that the highest score for the variable teacher professionalism (X) is 72 and the lowest score is 67, while for learning achievement (Y) the highest score is 85 and the lowest is 75. From the calculation results obtained an average (the mean) for the teacher professionalism variable (X) was 68.67 with a standard deviation (SD) of 3.3. Whereas for student achievement (Y) the average (mean) is 79.11 with a standard deviation (SD) is 2.55. whereas from the test results "rxy" or "ro" is greater than the "r" table or "r" table, both at the 5% and 1% significant levels, namely (0.711> 0.304 / 0.393). It can be concluded that: there is a significant influence on the professionalism of teachers on student achievement in Economics subject for Class VIII SMPN 2 Jerowaru.

Abstract

This research purposed to identify the types of ambiguous utterances particularly lexical ambiguity employed by college students on presentation projects of English subjects and to recognize the possible factors which caused the students’ presented ambiguous utterances on their presentation. This research implied descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. In which, the researcher employed observation, interview, and documentation as techniques of data collection. Thence, to analyze the data the researcher used three steps based on Miles and Huberman theory such as, the researcher did data reduction, displayed the data as some categories, and the last step manufactured the conclusion. To answer both research focus the researcher adopted Cruse Laporte theory. From the two types of lexical ambiguity, the researcher only found homonyms such as “I look at the duck” presented by the student “HH”, “We will miss the unique cat” presented by the student “EW”, “One of my friends hold the bat” was employed by the student “JA”, “There was a Kecial bird on my back” was uttered by the student “JU”, “I like this season so much” was uttered by the student “YK”, and the last one was said by the student “IG” it was “I am still young”. These homonyms were caused by some factors they were 2 students felt “No knowledge of English”, 7 students felt “no context comprehension”, 6 students owned “limited vocabulary”, and the last factor was “no knowledge of English structure” explained by 5 students. Those results were significantly described as valuable contributions in relation to providing updated knowledge of ambiguous utterances especially lexical ambiguity employed by the college students on presentation projects of English Subjects.

Abstract

Management quality is often called TQM (Total Quality Management), namely something tool For increasing something product. Teacher professionalism is performance quality, the teacher is a worker profession, Therefore They must uphold high professionalism. In case this TQM is used To increase quality or teacher's abilities to operate his task in other words, become a professional teacher. Study This aim is to know if variable X (Quality Management) has a significant influence on variable Y (Teacher Professionalism). Type of research This is a quantitative study, namely the data used in the study This form numbers. Deep sample study These are teachers at MTs Al-Ikhlas Setungkep, totaling 20 respondents, using cluster sampling technique (area sampling). Data retrieved use a questionnaire and supported with observation data and documentation. Data is processed with SPSS version 20 for Windows with method instrument test analysis, analysis regression simple, and hypothesis testing. The partial test results (t-test) show mark significance 0.268>0.05 meaning variable influence management quality No influential significance to teacher professionalism. Whereas the R square value of 0.068 or 6.8% means variable influence management quality influence teacher professionalism was 6.8%.

Abstract

The application of learning the book of Ta'lim Muta'alim is one of the lessons implemented by teachers and students at Raden Fatah Batu Junior High School. The focus of this research is learning the book of Ta'lim Muta'alim, evaluation of learning the book of Ta'lim Muta'alim, and student morals at Raden Fatah Batu Junior High School. Researchers used a qualitative approach using a case study type of research to achieve this goal. Based on this research, it can be stated that this plan is not written as lesson plans in general, but this plan is prepared based on the results of meetings between subject teachers which are held every two weeks. Implementation of Learning the Book of Ta'lim Muta'alim is carried out once a week every Saturday with a duration of one lesson hour. This learning includes three stages as usual learning, namely the opening in the form of tawassul, the core activities in the form of reading and translating the book, and then the final activity of evaluation. Evaluation of learning the book of Ta'lim Muta'alim focuses on observing student morals during the learning process of the book of Ta'lim Muta'alim and outside of learning hours. The teacher always observes how effective students are in behaving and acting toward others. And also evaluate his ability by giving a written test. And also psychomotor in translating books and reading books whether students can or not. The morals students at Raden Fatah Batu Junior High School already understand a lot about adab and many apply it in everyday life. Like, courtesy to teachers, friends, and parents. For example, it can be seen from the words and words of students, that they have started to worship the teacher, and so on.

Abstract

Students as part of a society that has a mark plus separately own a very important role in the growth and development of the nation. Where are the students? Of course, no one will once be free from life and social society, this makes the student not quite enough answer separately regarding their education travel because they are capable apply their knowledge get on the bench studying to help existing problems in public. The study aims to find a description of the role of internal campus organizations in increasing achievements and abilities of communication with students at the STIT Palapa Nusantara Lombok-NTB campus. Where are the internal campus organizations? Of course, just expected will bring a big impact on the development campus and share existing students, however the facts that happened in the field show that the internal campus organization at STIT Palapa Nusantara still has minimal movement, the reason is is lack of support and motivation from party campus and students alone in various their activities held. Studying this uses a approach qualitative, which is of a nature natural and more put forward feelings or experiences experienced by the source of the data. With method study studies case, that is something research conducted to learn something problems that occur in something group. Subject, his research is on administrator student organizations active organization and throughout student active various majors at STIT Palapa Nusantara Lombok-NTB. The procedure used in the study is interviews and observations, then after the data is collected analyzed using stages that are data presentation and withdrawal conclusion. Based on the results of research that has been done, the conclusion from the study is that the role of internal campus organizations in increasing achievements and abilities of communication students at STIT Palapa Nusantara Lombok-NTB still not yet been achieved, based on results of interviews that have been obtained several factors become trigger matter these, among others is lack of support from party campus and lecturers, lack interest student follow activities that have been provided, up to lack of awareness every administrator organization to roles and responsibilities answer each existing division.

Abstract

Behind successful education, some teachers play a vital role in the continuity of education. These teachers are one of the components needed in line with government policy to provide education in all fields as widely as possible to educate the nation. Hence, the need for these teachers who meet the requirements and are sufficient in number is the necessity for procurement to be undertaken by road. This research aims to improve and unite schools to adapt to the current curriculum. With a problem formulation of how to plan the implementation of the independent curriculum, how to implement the independent curriculum, and finally how to evaluate the implementation of the independent curriculum. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, the subjects of this research are the principal, the head of curriculum, and several subject teachers, and the informants in this research are the research subjects themselves. The methods used in collecting data in this research were observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data using source triangulation techniques and strategies is then analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the research can conclude that the planning for implementing the independent curriculum begins by formulating it together with members of the educational unit and then implementing the independent curriculum. The key to the success of implementing this curriculum is that the final teacher evaluation is carried out to see to what extent the learning competencies have been achieved by the students who will later evaluated so that subsequent learning competencies are better.

Abstract

High-quality human resources is an absolute requirement for achieving successful national development. This can only be obtained through education which is a vehicle for improving higher quality Human Resources (HR). This research was conducted with the following objectives: 1) to describe how to increase the self-confidence of students at SDN 1 Embung Kandong; 2) to know what the extracurricular role of the theater arts is in increasing the self-confidence of students at SDN 1 Embung Kandong; 3) to find out the difference in self-confidence of students at SDN 1 Embung Kandong who attended and those who did not take part in extracurricular theater arts. This study uses a qualitative method. The population of this study was SDN 1 Embung Kandong, the samples used as data sources were students at SDN 1 Embung Kandong who attended art galleries, teachers, and mentors. The process of collecting data using observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on this description, the results of the study show that: The coaching process to increase the self-confidence of students at SDN 1 Embung Kandong is carried out through extracurricular activities in theater arts. Theater arts extracurriculars have a very significant role in increasing the confidence of students at SDN 1 Embung Kandong. Students who take part in extracurricular theater arts have higher self-confidence.

Abstract

Education is one activity that is universal in the life of humans, anywhere There is society, there is also education. Many countries recognize that problem education Is a complicated issue, however, everything feels that education is the State's very duty petting, a nation that wants to progress, build, and try to improve circumstances in society and the world, of course, the state that education is key, and without key business, they will fail. This study aims to determine what role parents and teachers play in improving the learning development of second-grade students at SDN 2 Batu Nampar. This type of research is descriptive qualitative which aims to explain or describe a situation, event, or object such as a person, or anything related to research. Analysis of the data obtained based on data in the field, the analysis process has four stages, namely reduction, triangulation, data presentation, and verification/conclusion. Based on research conducted through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are (1) The role of parents in enhancing student learning development includes: (a) Parents as motivators, there are 87% of parents performing their role as motivators such as giving gifts, advising to be diligent in worship and study. (b) Parents as facilitators, there are 72% of parents perform their role as facilitators, for example, in places of study, stationery, books, and others. (c) Parents as supervisors, 57% of parents have carried out their role as supervisors such as supervision in a bad environment, promiscuity, and excessive use of gadgets. (2) The teacher's war in improving student learning development includes: (a) The teacher is a model and role model, the teacher gives examples to students, for example, teachers dress neatly, speak well, and apply ethics in learning. (b) As an advisor, the teacher often advises the form of lectures such as reminding them to be diligent in worship and continue studying and giving advice to children who have problems in their families. (c) The teacher is an innovator, the teacher always creates innovations in learning, for example, inviting students to study outside the classroom, inviting students to sing, and using storytelling methods in learning.
