<![CDATA[This study discusses the strategy of reading aloud in fostering students' desire to read in Class V SDN 02 Sasak Ranah Pasisie. Because reading is one of the language skills needed in activities or doing routines, especially in learning at school. The purpose of this research is to explain what factors affect students' reading interest in class V SDN 02 Sasak Ranah Pasisie and to explain the application of a screen reading strategy by the teacher in increasing students' reading interest in class V SDN 02 Sasak Ranah Pasisie. The method used in this research is qualitative, with a descriptive approach, where the researcher describes the results of his research precisely and in accordance with the results obtained during the survey. From the survey conducted through interviews, teachers and distributing questionnaires to students, it shows that students' interest in reading is influenced by several factors, such as: (I) external factors such as guidance from parents, media for reading and from educators (2) factors or influences from within such as self-influences. With the strategy of reading aloud the teacher of grade V was effective, the students seemed eager to read and some even took the initiative to read.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to (1) develop student worksheets (LKPD) so as to produce LKPD products based on the index card match learning model for class VII descriptive text material, (2) describe the feasibility of LKPD based on index card match learning model material for class VII description text. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4-D model. In the 4-D model research there are 4 stages of research carried out namely Define, Design, and Development and Dissemination. The results of this study were that a student worksheet (LKPD) based on the index card match learning model was produced for class VII description text material with an average feasibility score of 89.23% from material experts and included in the very feasible category, 89.33% of design experts and included in the very decent category, 94% of Indonesian language study teachers and included in the very decent category. So it can be concluded that the Student Worksheet (LKPD) product based on the index card match learning model for class VII descriptive text material is suitable for use as additional teaching material in schools, especially class VII.. ]]>

<![CDATA[This article aims to explain The Implementation Of Merdeka Curriculum For Formal English Learning. The curriculum becomes very important in educational institutions because the curriculum is the “heart” of education. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with library research methods, using synthesis and content analysis. The results of the study show that the Implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at the Elementary School level prioritizes project-based learning. In the implementation of learning is not only focused on the world of knowledge but emphasizes the mastery of character, literacy, skills, and technology. Implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in English Learning at the Middle School Level, namely by applying the Project Based Learning method is the application of student-oriented learning (student-centered). Implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at the English Learning High School level is by implementing a curriculum that is Basic Framework, Targeted Competency, Curriculum Structure, Learning Process, Assessment, Teaching Resources, and Curriculum Tools.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to improve student achievement in class XI AK.2 SMK St. Willibrodus Betun in Accounting subject through the application of peer tutoring learning methods. The problems faced are the lack of student interest in accounting subjects, and the difficulty of maintaining focus during class. This has a negative impact on their academic performance. The proposed solution involves utilizing the peer tutoring method, whereby students receive assistance from their classmates in understanding accounting concepts. The research was conducted using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method and involved 20 students as research subjects. The results showed that there was a significant increase in student achievement after the application of the peer tutoring method. In cycle I, 13 students successfully completed their studies with an average formative test score of 74.50 and a percentage of learning completeness of 65.00. In cycle II there was an increase in the number of students who completed their studies, with a total of 18 students. The average score of formative tests also increased to 88.00, and the percentage of complete learning reached 90.00. The conclusion drawn is that peer tutoring is an effective learning method in improving the academic achievement of Accounting students.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze minimal pairs of consonant sounds in English and explore their significance in language learning and teaching pronunciation. Minimal pairs are two words that differ only in one consonant sound, and this analysis aims to provide an understanding of the important role of minimal pairs in developing phonological awareness and improving pronunciation accuracy in English.This research involved identifying and analyzing minimal pairs of consonant sounds in English, including consonant sounds such as /p/ and /b/, /s/ and /z/, and /t/ and /d/. This analysis includes examining the articulation differences and acoustic characteristics of each minimal pair, with the aim of helping English learners understand the subtle phonetic differences between these consonant sounds. Through a deep understanding of minimal pairs, learners can develop their ability to distinguish and produce consonant sounds more accurately.In addition, this study also reviews the pedagogical implications of using minimal pairs in learning English pronunciation. Activities that involve minimal pairs, such as exercises on understanding and producing consonant sounds, can help learners increase their sensitivity to the different sounds in English. By engaging students in minimal pair practice, teachers can help them improve their pronunciation and increase their clarity of communication in English.]]>

<![CDATA[The high number of homeless people in the city of Padang is caused by economic and cultural factors in the community. The most important thing that must be considered by social services is the guidance of the homeless. Because at certain times the homeless population increases, such as on holidays, religious holidays, or in recreation centers. However, if due to the family's unfavorable economic conditions, it becomes a factor for children to go to the streets to work to help their parents. Homeless people are a city community, their presence is closely related to the environmental conditions of the children's community. Homeless people who have been netted cannot be sure that they will not take to the streets again. This is due to various reasons, such as economic needs that are still not fulfilled and there are no other activities that can generate money, forcing the child to take to the streets again. One of the programs for dealing with homeless people at the Social Service is working with Satpol PP to screen homeless people. So the guidance for families that must be carried out by social services is by empowering the family economy which creates independence, so that finally with the various coaching programs provided, both to the child and to his family it is hoped that they will not return to the streets again. The purpose of this study was to find out how the role of the Padang City Social Service in dealing with existing homeless people. Implementation of this research using descriptive qualitative method. The results of this study found how the role of the Padang City Social Service in dealing with the existing Homeless, as well as how the efforts were made and the inhibiting factors in handling the Homeless.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of the issuance of Regional Regulation No. 3 of 2014 is so that street vendors can meet the requirements and be monitored so they can move to a place provided by the Padang City Government. This decision was taken to create 6 cities of Padang that are comfortable, safe and beautiful. According to a survey conducted by researchers, the location of street vendors (PKL) has a very negative effect on the smoothness, cleanliness and orderliness of public spaces, which of course needs government support or government mapping to create comfort and convenience. Running road use works fine. With these considerations, the authors are interested in further analyzing regional regulations related to the arrangement and empowerment of street vendors in order to understand the real facts. <![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to look at the effect of phubbing in group learning. Phubbing, the behavior of ignoring those around them while using electronic devices, has become increasingly popular in today's digital world. The goal of group learning can be achieved by group members working together in the learning process. The quality of social interaction between group members and the success of learning can be negatively affected by the presence of phubbing in group learning environments. The library research technique used in this research literature review to collect and examine data related to the influence of phubbing in group learning. The findings of this study are expected to provide an overview of how phubbing affects the efficiency of group learning and provide a basis for reducing the adverse impact of phubbing on group learning.]]>
