Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of short-term debt and long-term debt on profitability. The population in this study are food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2019. The number of samples used as many as 16 companies taken using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used classical assumption test and multiple linear regression. The indicator for short term debt is short term debt (STD), long term debt indicator is long term debt equity ratio (LTDE), and profitability indicator is return on assets (ROA). The results of the research hypothesis are known that the t-test of the Short-Term Debt variable does not significantly affect Return On Assets, this can be seen from the significant value of 0.479 > 0.05 and the value of tcount > ttable or -0.079 < 2.014. And the Long-Term Debt has no significant effect on Return On assets, this can be seen from the significant value of 0.488 > 0.05 and the value of tcount > ttable or -0.292 > 2.014. Meanwhile, it simultaneously shows that the fcount value is 47.796 and ftable can be seen in the statistical table, it is obtained ftable = 3.20. So it can be concluded that fcount > ftable (47.796 > 3.20) and 0.368 > 0.05, meaning Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This means that short-term debt and long-term debt have a simultaneous effect on return on assets in the 2017-2019 period.

Abstract

The research objectives were to test and analyze the effect of price and quality of service on customers’ satisfaction at PT. Telkom (Plasa Telkom Branch Medan). The researcher conducted the research at PT. Telkom (Plasa Telkom Branch Medan) in Medan, North Sumatra. The researcher planned research activities in April 2019 - September 2019. The approach of this research was quantitative research. The type of research was quantitative descriptive research. The nature of this research was explanatory descriptive research. The population in this study was some customers at PT. Telkom (Plasa Telkom Branch Medan), as many as 5219 customers. The population in this study was some customers who made purchases at PT. Telkom (Plasa Telkom Branch Medan) as many as 5219 customers. In testing the validity and reliability, the researcher used as many as 30 customers and the rest 98 customers as sample test. The regression model was used to test the hypothesis. First the model was tested in the classical assumption. The classical assumption tests used included: normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedestity test. The data analysis model used was multiple regression analysis. The results of the study as well as the conclusions of the study were the prices of 5.936 with a significant value of 0.003 partially had significant effect on customers’ satisfaction at PT. Telkom (Plasa Telkom Branch Medan). Service Quality was 2.201 with a significant value of 0.030 partially had significant effect on customers’ satisfaction at PT. Telkom (Plasa Telkom Branch Medan).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of working capital turnover on profitability in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. The samples are 24 companies, so the research data analyzed are 48. Data analysis techniques used used are descriptive statistics, classical assumption test, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the multiple linear regression test have a value of Y= -1.596+0.246X. The results of the partial t test indicate that working capital turnover has no effect. The value of ???????????????????????? (1.543) < ???????????????????????? (2.014) with a significant value (0.130 > 0 ,05) .

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to prove whether there is an effect of liquidity and solvency on profitability at PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk. The data collection method used is the method of literature and field research, then the data is analyzed using the multiple linear regression analysis method with the help of SPSS software version 22. The results of the study state that liquidity is proxied by the current ratio and solvency is proxied by debt to assets ratio both in terms of partial or simultaneous have no effect on profitability as proxied by ROA. This is evidenced from the partial research test which shows that the current ratio has a value of tcount < ttable, namely -0.946 < 2.110 with a significant value of 0.357 > 0.05, and the debt to assets ratio has a value of tcount < ttable which is 1.140 < 2.110 with a significant level of 0.270 > 0.05, and the simultaneous research test also showed no effect, this was seen from the value of fcount < ftable, which was 1.101 < 3.55 with a significant value of 0.355 > 0.05. For the R square value of 0.115 or equal to 11.5%. This figure means that the liquidity variable (X1) and solvency variable (X2) affect profitability (Y) only by 11.5%, and it can be concluded that the influence of the independent variable (X) on the dependent variable (Y) is very weak and in explaining the dependent variable is also very limited.

Abstract

Indonesian Fast Food Medan were the product prices fixed was more expensive compared to its competitors, the quality of the company's services was not good and could not satisfy consumers. The research method used was quantitative. The type of research was quantitative descriptive and the nature of this research was descriptive explanatory. The method of data collection was done by interviews and questionnaires. The analytical method used was multiple linear regression analysis. The population in this study were consumers who bought products at PT. Indonesian Fast Food Medan from January to December 2018. The sampling technique in this study used simple random sampling, so the sample was taken using one hundred (100) people. The results of the study showed that the price and quality of service were significant for consumer satisfaction at PT. Fastfood Indonesia Medan. From the results of the analysis of the factors that influenced customer satisfaction, it could be seen that between the two variables analyzed, the most dominant influence on customer satisfaction was the quality of service variable. This was proved by the results of the calculation of each variable (t test) in which the t test was t test on service quality variables. The conclusions in this study were the service quality variable rejected H0 and accepted H1. Thus, partially showed that prices and service quality were satisfyingly ans significantly positive to customer satisfaction of PT. Indonesian Fast Food Medan. Simultaneously the price variable and service quality variable were satisfyingly and significantly positive to the customer satisfaction of PT. Indonesian Fast Food Medan.

Abstract

The results of the study through the t-test for the marketing mix obtained a tcount is 4.041 > ttable 2,005 and the significance value for the marketing mix variable is 0,000 < alpha 0.05 so it can be concluded that the marketing mix has a positive and significant effect on the decision of purchasing treasury products at Bank BNI Medan Region. The t-test for marketing strategy obtained a value of tcount is 4.158 > ttable 2.005 and the significance value for the marketing mix variable of 0.000 < alpha 0.05 and then it can be concluded that marketing strategies have a positive and significant effect on the purchase decisions of treasury products at Bank BNI Medan Region.The F-test results obtained Fcount 37,331 > Ftable 3,16 and the significance of 0,000 < alpha 0,05 so it can be concluded that the marketing mix and marketing strategy both together have a significant effect on the decision of purchasing treasury products at Bank BNI Medan Region.

Abstract

This study aimed at testing and analyzing the effect of Cash Ratio (CR), Net Profit Margin (NPM), and Firm Size (FS) on the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) in the Infrastructure, Utilities, And Transportation sector companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2014-2018 period. The research method applied in this study was quantitative research approach, the type of research was descriptive statistics, and the nature of the research was explanatory research. The population of this study was sixty six (66) companies in the Infrastructure, Utilities, And Transportation sector. By using sampling technique of purposive sampling technique, ten (10) companies in the Infrastructure sector, Utilities, And Transportation that met the criteria were taken as samples. The method of data analysis in this study was multiple linear regression analysis with classical assumption. The results of this study indicated that simultaneously Cash Ratio (CR), Net Profit Margin (NPM), and Firm Size (FS) had no effect and were insignificant on the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) in the Infrastructure, Utilities, And Transportation sector companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2014-2018 period with the results of Fcount ≤ Ftable or 2.719 ≤ 2.81 and significance of 0.055 ≥ 0.05. Partially Cash Ratio (CR) and Firm Size (FS) had effect on and significantly affected the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR), while the Net Profit Margin (NPM) had no effect and significantly affected the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). The results of the analysis of the coefficient of determination obtained adjusted R2 value which showed the variation of the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) variable which could be explained by variations in the Cash Ratio (CR), Net Profit Margin (NPM), and Firm Size (FS) of 9.5% while as much as 90.5% was explained by variations in other variables.

Jasa Ricky Abadi were more expensive compared to its competitors and promotions that were less satisfying to consumers. The research method used was quantitative approach. The type of research was quantitative descriptive and the nature of this research is descriptive explanatory. The data collection was done by interviews and questionnaires. The analytical method used was multiple linear regression analysis. The population in this study was consumers who bought products at PT. Jasa Ricky Abadi from January to December 2017. The technique of determining the sample in this study was simple random sampling, so that the sample used amounted to 144 people. The results showed that prices and promotions had significant effect on purchasing decisions at PT. Jasa Ricky Abadi. The results of the analysis of the factors that influenced purchasing decisions showed that between the two variables analyzed, the most dominant influence on purchasing decisions was the price variable. This was proved by the results of the calculation of each variable (t test), where t test was on price variable. The conclusion in this research was that the price variable rejected H0 and accepted H1. Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of net income and operating cash flow on dividend policy in consumer goods manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2017-2019 period. The data method is carried out by using the library research method (Library Research) and the field research method (Field Research) where the data used by the researcher is the financial statements of each sample published through www.idx.co.id. The study population was 50 companies with purposive sampling technique obtained 10 companies that became the research sample so that the total obtained was 30 data. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS version 22 program. Then the research trial using the t test and the F test. The results of the research partially show that the Net Profit variable has a significant effect on Dividend Policy (DPR) where the tcount is -2.520 <ttable 1.703, and the Operating Cash Flow variable has no effect on Dividend Policy (DPR) where the tcount is -1.239 <ttable 1.703. The results of the research simultaneously prove that Net Profit and Operating Cash Flow have a significant effect on Dividend Policy (DPR) in Manufacturing Companies in the Consumer Goods Sector in the Indonesia Stock Exchange where the value of Fcount 3.547> Ftable 3.35. The coefficient of determination (R2) shows a numerical value of 20.8% and the remaining 79.2%. By other variables that are not accurate in this study.

Abstract

This study aimed at determining and analyzing the influence of product quality and personal selling on consumers of Old Chick Day at PT Super Unggas Jaya Medan. The phenomenon of product quality was that it was lack of quality, lack of personal selling, and lack of comfort in services showed by unsatisfactory customers’ satisfaction which caused the number of consumers to decline every month as the background of this research. The research method used in this research was quantitative approach. The type of this research was quantitative descriptive and the nature of this research wass descriptive explanatory. The data collection was done by interviews and questionnaires. The analytical method used was multiple linear regression analysis. The population in this study was consumers who buy Old Chick Day at PT Super Unggas Jaya Medan. Determination of samples in this study was done by using simple random sampling, so that the sample used amounted to 109 people. The results showed that product quality and personal selling had a positive and significant effect on customers’ satisfaction at PT Super Unggas Jaya Medan. From the analysis of the factors that influenced customers’ satisfaction, it could be seen that between the two variables analyzed, the most dominant one that affected consumers’ satisfaction was a variable in product quality. This was proved by the results of the calculation of each variable (t test), where t test on product quality variable was (2,017> 1,65895) and test on personal selling variable was (2,543>1,65895). The conclusion in this study was that the service quality variable rejected H0 and accepted H1. Thus, partially product quality and personal selling had a negative and significant effect on consumers’ satisfaction of PT Sumber Unggas Jaya Medan. Simultaneously the product quality variable and personal selling variable had a positive and significant effect on consumers’ satisfaction in PT Sumber Unggas Jaya Medan
