Abstract

Iron is very useful for pregnant women in maintaining the stability of hemoglobin. Meanwhile, pregnant women in the Nambo Health Center Working Area in 2016, 9 of 12 mothers did not consume iron (Fe) tablets regularly, because after consuming iron (Fe) tablets they often felt nauseous and did not know about the function of the iron (Fe) tablet. and the benefits of iron (Fe) tablets, thus becoming the basis of this research. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to the compliance of pregnant women in consuming iron (Fe) tablets in the working area of ​​the Nambo Health Center, Kendari City. This type of research is observational with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all pregnant women who had their pregnancy checked and received Fe tablets from January to May 2016 at the Nambo Health Center in Kendari City in 2016 with a total of 115 people. With a simple random sampling technique, with a sample of 37 pregnant women. Based on the results of statistical tests with Fisher's Exach test obtained Knowledge (p = 0.001 smaller than = 0.05) which means there is a relationship, attitude (p = 0.002 is smaller than = 0.05) which means there is a relationship, Interaction Quality ( p = 0.009 is smaller than = 0.05) which means there is a relationship, family support (p = 0.006 is smaller than = 0.05) which means there is a relationship. It is recommended for the Puskesmas to further increase public knowledge, especially pregnant women about compliance or the importance of consuming iron (Fe) tablets.

Abstract

Nutritional consumption greatly affects the nutritional status of a person's health which is the main capital for individual health. Incorrect or inappropriate nutritional intake will cause health problems. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between eating frequency and eating habits with incidence (stunting) at SDN 08 Angata, South Konawe Regency. This research was conducted with a cross sectional design using a quantitative approach. This research was conducted at the 08 Angata Public Elementary School, South Konawe Regency from 18 May to 02 June 2016. The population in this study were all children who were in the 08 Angata Elementary School, South Konawe Regency, grades 1-5. The sampling method used simple random sampling method as many as 95 children. The independent variables of the study were the frequency of eating and eating habits. The results showed that there was a relationship between the frequency of eating and the incidence of stunting at SDN 08 Angata, South Konawe Regency and there was a relationship between eating habits and the incidence of stunting at SDN 08 Angata, South Konawe Regency. The conclusion that can be drawn is that it is hoped that mothers can pay attention to the type of food consumption in children, especially nutritious food and it is necessary to increase counseling about providing nutritious food for children.

Abstract

Malnutrition and malnutrition are health problems that are commonly found in developing countries. Nationally, the prevalence of underweight in 2013 was 19.6%, consisting of 5.7% of malnutrition and 13.9% of undernourished. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between mother's knowledge, education level, income, eating patterns, and the nutritional status of children under five in the eye health center working area. This research was an analytical descriptive study with a cross sectional approach. This research was conducted on 10 October – 27 December 2016 in the Eye Health Center Working Area with a total of 90 samples. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, which is not random, but the researcher determines the sample to be taken. independent variables include mother's knowledge, mother's education, level of family income, eating patterns, and nutritional status as the dependent variable. Mother's knowledge percentage is mostly 51.1% in good category, Mother's education is mostly 54.4% in Low education category, Family income is mostly 69.2% in adequate category, Parenting pattern is mostly 62.2% in normal category, Nutritional status is mostly large 72.2% normal category. There is a relationship between mother's knowledge and nutritional status of toddlers, There is no relationship between education level and nutritional status of toddlers, There is no relationship between income and nutritional status of toddlers, There is a significant relationship between eating parenting patterns and nutritional status of toddlers. There is a significant relationship between mother's knowledge, and parenting eating patterns with the nutritional status of toddlers, there is no relationship between maternal education, family income, and nutritional status of children under five.

Abstract

Colostrum is breast milk that comes out on the first day of thick yellow color, rich in protein and immune substances, or immunoglobulin IgA. The low coverage of giving colostrum and exclusive breastfeeding to infants in urban and rural areas reaches 38.5%. This is influenced by many things, including the low knowledge and lack of information to mothers and families about the importance of exclusive breastfeeding. The type of research used is an observational analytic study with a cross sectional approach, namely to study between risk factors (independent) and effect factors (dependent), in this case the relationship between knowledge, attitudes, antenatal care, and maternal parity with colostrum administration in new babies. born in the working area of ​​the Abeli ​​Public Health Center, Kendari City in 2015. The population in this study were all mothers giving birth in the work area of ​​the Abeli ​​Health Center in Kendari City in 2015 for the January - June period as many as 93 mothers. Sampling used the formula and Accidential Sampling technique, namely by take a sample of mothers who happen to exist or are available so that a sample of 48 respondents is obtained. The results of the study obtained that there was a relationship between knowledge and the provision of colostrum to newborns, obtained p value: 0.003. There is a relationship between attitudes and giving colostrum to newborns, the p value is :0.008. There is a relationship between antenatal care and the provision of colostrum to newborns, the p value is : 0.023. There is a correlation between parity and giving colostrum to newborns, obtained p value: 0.013

Abstract

Based on a survey conducted on 10 children, they said they liked to eat snacks in the school environment, often snacked because their parents were given pocket money, often snacked without paying attention to the expiration date and the content contained in the snack packaging, and often snacked at school even though they were provided with food. from home by his parents. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with consuming foods containing preservatives. This type of research is an analytic study with a cross sectional research design. The population in this study was 96 people, with a sampling technique using a proportional stratified random sampling technique, with a total sample of 48 people. The method of analysis used Chi Square statistical test and continued with the phi coefficient test. The results showed that there was a moderate relationship between food behavior with a value of > (6.680> 5.591) with a phi coefficient test with the result = 0.37, there was a moderate relationship between pocket money with a value of > (9,833> 5.591) with a phi coefficient test with the result = 0.45, there is a moderate relationship between nutritional knowledge with a value of > (6.701> 5.591) with a phi coefficient test with a result = 0.47, there is a very strong relationship between snack preferences with a value of > (42.488> 5.591) with a phi coefficient test with a result = 0.94, there is a strong relationship between peer influence with a value > (14,742 > 5,591) with a phi coefficient test with a result = 0.55, by consuming foods that contain preservatives. It is recommended that parents control the consumption of food containing preservatives in children by reducing the amount of food containing preservatives circulating in the school canteen.

Abstract

The problem at the North Buton District Hospital is that there are patient complaints, where the officers are not friendly in communicating both to patients and the patient's family and the officer's inaccuracy in fulfilling his appointments with patients. This study aims to determine the relationship between the quality of health services and patient satisfaction in North Buton District Hospital. This type of research is analytic with a cross sectional approach. The population in this study were all inpatients at the North Buton District Hospital and used hospital services from January to April 2016 with a total of 108 patients with a total sample of 44 respondents who were determined by accidental sampling. The analysis used is univariate and bivariate analysis. The results of the study concluded that there was a significant relationship between responsiveness, assurance, empathy, reliability, and tangibles with patient satisfaction at the North Buton District Hospital. It is recommended for the Health Office to include physical development and the addition of human resources as auxiliary personnel, especially in North Buton District Hospital in the priority planning proposals to the North Buton Regency government, as well as carry out education or training for medical and paramedical personnel on a regular, periodic and comprehensive basis in order to improve professional skills and performance. In addition, there is a need to improve the quality of hospital physical evidence, reliability and the provision of better health insurance

Abstract

Data from the Wali Health Center showed that in 2014 from 230 toddlers, 21 children under five suffered from febrile seizures. In 2015 from 225 children under five, the number of patients with febrile seizures was 38 children under five. Based on the results of interviews conducted by researchers from 10 mothers who have toddlers with a history of febrile seizures, there are 4 mothers who say their children often have febrile seizures which always begin with a fever with a temperature above 380 C and 4 mothers say that there are other family members who often experience fever. febrile seizures and 2 people said they had febrile seizures because their nutritional status was not good. This study aims to determine the risk factors for the occurrence of febrile seizures in toddlers in the work area of ​​the Wali Health Center, Binongko District, Wakatobi Regency. This type of research is observational analytic research, with the research design used is a case control study. The population is all toddlers who have a history of fever, namely 38 toddlers in the work area of ​​the Wali Health Center, Binongko District, with a total sample of 35 cases and 35 controls so that the total is 70 toddlers. The method of analysis using the Odds Ratio Test. The results showed that body temperature was a risk factor for the occurrence of febrile seizures in toddlers in the work area of ​​the Wali Health Center, Binongko District, Wakatobi Regency (OR = 22,389; CI = 95%), heredity was a risk factor for the occurrence of febrile seizures in toddlers in the work area of ​​the Wali Subdistrict Health Center. Binongko, Wakatobi Regency (OR= 4,500; CI= 95%), the history of neonates is a risk factor for the incidence of febrile seizures in children under five in the working area of ​​the Wali Health Center, Binongko District, Wakatobi Regency (OR= 1,938; CI= 95%), and nutritional status is a risk factor. The incidence of febrile seizures in toddlers in the work area of ​​the Wali Health Center, Binongko District, Wakatobi Regency (OR = 5,712; CI = 95%) It is hoped that the Wali Health Center will provide health information about febrile seizures in toddlers, put up posters at the Puskesmas and provide counseling in the community about the importance of preventing cases of febrile seizures in toddlers, especially with regard to body temperature, hereditary history , neonatal history, and nutritional status

Abstract

Based on the data obtained from the population survey, it was found that from 10 residents who went to traditional medicine only 40% recovered, the rest sought treatment at the puskesmas/hospital because they did not recover. This is a problem for health services because they come in severe conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the selection of traditional medicine in families in overcoming health problems in Kampo Enta, Bone Lipu Village, North Buton Regency in 2016. This research is a descriptive analytic with a cross sectional study design. The population in this study were all 367 families in Kampo Enta, Bone Lipu Village, North Buton Regency. The sampling technique used is probability sampling. Data analysis using chi square test. Based on the results of the statistical test, the value = 37.804 > = 3.814, it was found that there was a moderate relationship between the knowledge of the head of the family and the choice of traditional medicine. Abstract

Background: One of the local food in Southeast Sulawesi is Sinongi. Sinonggi is the staple food of the tribe Tolaki. The raw material for making Sinonggi is sago flour. Generally sago flour in Southeast Sulawesi prepared traditionally methodes so the sanitaries is not enough for mantain contaminant of microbes producing organic acid which causing deteriration of sago and the impact of product become changing in colour, aroma, taste. Objective: to determine the degree of acidity sago as the raw materials for making sinonggi in traditional markets Mandonga, Kendari city.Method: Types of research design is descriptive surveys studies. The research was done on November to Desember 2014. The sample of this research are sago starch were sold in traditional markets Mandonga of Kendari City as many as 12 samples were Purposive Sampling. Type of analysis included: forms of sago flour and the degree of acidity of sago flour (SNI 3729: 2008) Result: The results showed that of the 12 samples of sago flour 7 samples (67%) are wet sago flour form, and Nine samples (75%) have a degree of acidity did not meet predetermined requirements in SNI. Abstract

Data from the Diarrhea Program of the Tinondo Health Center in East Kolaka Regency, patients with diarrheal disease aged 0-11 months (infants) were 43 cases. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with formula feeding with the incidence of diarrhea in infants in the working area of ​​the Tinondo Health Center, East Kolaka Regency in 2015. This type of research is analytical using a cross sectional study design, a sample of 61 people using the proportional sampling technique. method of analysis using Chis - Square test . The results of the statistical test show that there is a relationship between the dependent variable and the independent variable with the value of each variable, Milk Bottle Hygiene (Xcount: 5.32 and Phi value: 0.295), Feeding Time (XCount: 5.07 and Phi value: 0.288), Type of Milk (XCount: 8.89 and Phi value: 0.382) with the incidence of diarrhea. It is hoped that the government will provide more information to the public on how to prepare the correct milk bottle, and the correct type of time to give formula milk.
