Abstract

Method of catching, type and size of fish, movement of fish, weather and condition of fish before catching are factors that affect fish freshness. Fish freshness can be determined physically (organoleptic/sensory), physically and microbiologically. The decline in fish quality can be seen from the speed of entering the rigor mortis phase. The rigor mortis phase is the process of convulsing the organs in the fish's body due to the flow of oxygen in the fish's body tissues. Fish that move quickly and fish that are "sick" enter the rigor mortis phase and decay more quickly. Post-harvest handling greatly determines the freshness or quality of aquatic commodities. One of the postharvest handling that is often applied is cooling and freezing.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to identify the freshness level of some fishes based on SNI 2729-2013 regarding Fresh Fish Specifications. The research method used is a qualitative method. Data analysis was carried out using a qualitative deductive method, namely an approach by describing data from general to specific forms. The results showed that based on SNI 2729-2013, the freshness level of some tilapias (Oreochromis niloticus) that has been tested, all of those fishes relatively fresh.

Abstract

Sticks are long, flat cakes that have a savory taste and crunchy texture that are processed by frying or baking. Tuna is a type of marine fish that has a high nutritional content and is good for consumption. Kale leaf or Brassica Oleracea L is a vegetable that has very high nutritional value, especially vitamin C. This study aims to determine the level of preference for tuna fish bone meal sticks with the addition of kale leaf extract as a natural dye. This study used the following combination treatments: P0 (Without Addition of Tuna Fish Bone Flour and Kale Leaf Extract), P1 (15% Tuna Fish Bone Flour and 10% Kale Leaf Extract), P2 (20% Tuna Fish Bone Flour and 15% Kale Leaf Extract), P3 (25% Tuna Fish Bone Flour and 20% Kale Leaf Extract). The stick product was tested on 30 untrained panelists on the aspects tested, namely preference, taste, aroma, color and texture using 5 scales. The results showed that the sticks with the addition of tuna bone meal and kale leaf extract had an effect on the organoleptic characteristics. The panelist's level of preference stated that he liked the P2 treatment and got the highest score of 43%. The organoleptic test of the level of taste and texture preference obtained the highest score on the panelist assessment stating that they liked the P0 treatment by 40% and P0 by 43%. The organoleptic test of the level of preference for aroma and color obtained the highest score on the panelist assessment stating that they liked the P2 treatment by 40% and P2 by 53%. The results of the sticks with the best formula were in the P2 treatment (20% Tuna Fish Bone Flour and 15% Kale Leaf Extract).

Abstract

PT. ARTHA KEMBAR UTAMA is a well – known cleaning service provider company in the province at East Java. A service company located at Puri Surya Jaya Housing Cluster Taman Nagoya, blk E2 – E4 No. 45, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java, is often trusted in handling cleaning matters.many agencies have been entrusted to this company, starting from Airlangga University Hospital, Hospital in Madiun Regency, and Ofcourse the place that I will use as research for this project, namely Sunan Ampel State Islamic University, Surabaya. Consumer satisfaction greatly influeces the assessment of the quality of a cleaners work, therefore it is important for every company to conduct a test or assessment of consumer/user satisfaction. To find out the level of consumer satisfaction with food, a comparison was made of the level exizting satisfaction and satisfaction after the research.

Abstract

UKM "Mekar Handcraft" produces woven bags. The initial process involves cutting the strings using a manual tool made of wooden blocks with nails. Then, a rolling streaping tool is used, but it faces a constraint where some raw materials cannot be spun using the spinning tool, so a manual tool is used instead. Additionally, the proximity of the raw material to the roll area is too close, resulting in frequent string breakage. The introduction of this new streaping tool innovation is expected to accelerate the production process. An investment feasibility analysis is needed to determine the viability of this investment. Based on the research, the Net Present Value (NPV) is calculated to be (Rp.212,450), which is greater than 0, indicating that the investment is viable. However, the Internal Rate of Return (IRR) calculation yields a value of 11.29%, which is less than the Minimum Acceptable Attractive Rate (MAAR) of 20%, indicating that the investment is not viable. The Payback Period calculation results in 10.78 months, indicating a relatively fast return on investment, making it a viable investment. Furthermore, the Profitability Index (PI) calculation yields a value of 1.11, which is greater than 1, indicating that the investment is viable

Abstract

Tlhe purpollse of this research is to find out and anallyze the effect of word of mouth and prilce on product purchasing decisions at Envio Store Rungkut Surabaya. This research method uses quantitative reselarch methods with non-probability sampling telchniques in the forml of purposive sampling. The poplulation in this study were people who had bought prlodul cts at the Envio Store Rungkut Surabaya, with a totl al sample of 96 respondents. The method of data analysl is in this study was to use multiple regression analysis tests, validity tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests and hypothesis testing consisting of t tests, determination tests, r tests wlith the help of the IBM SPSS version 25 for window prlogram. The results and conclusions of this study indicate that word of mouth and price have a positive and signlificant effect both palrtially and simultal neously on prodluct purchasing declisions at Envio Store Rungkut Surabaya.

Abstract

Pawon D'tiens UMKM, located in Begaganlimo Village, Gondang District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java, manufactures gadung chips from gadung tubers that have been processed through many stages. The problems in Pawon D'tiens UMKM that will be resolved by this research are specifically in the oil draining process, where the draining process is still manual, and there is still a lot of oil stuck to the gadung chips, which can reduce the quality of the chips, for example, the chips crumble easily, have a rancid smell, and don't last long, making consumers less interested. As a result, we wish to assist Pawon D'tiens MSMEs in problem resolution by building machinespinners as needed and adding a rotating speed controller. This study focuses on the design of a transmission system that incorporates shafts, a pulley, and a v-belt.In designing the transmission system, the research acquired the following results: axles built of 20 mm ST 40 iron, pulleys measuring 100 mm and 200 mm, and v-belt type B-68 with a circumferential length of 1727.2 mm.
