Abstract

The implementation of foreign language learning in Indonesia is an effort for the Indonesian people to be able to absorb and follow the development of science and technology in the world, as well as a way to enter the global society. The people of Banjar Talela Village want introductions to linguistic skills (Arabic and English) for children and the younger generation as an effort to develop human resources so that they can motivate them to move forward and compete in the global world. This form of language learning has been carried out in this village as a form of service to the local community, by carrying out various extra-curricular activities and intra- curricular activities. The internalization of foreign languages is carried out in various ways, including; 1) Be a role model for children and youth in speaking of foreign languages (Arabic and English) in their daily life. 2) Teach vocabularies (English or Arabic) everyday. 3) Teach various linguistic activities according to their talents and interests such as poetry, stories, sermons etc. 4) Simulate how they can use vocabularies (English or Arabic) in their daily life.

Abstract

Community entrepreneurship skill   is an effort and strategy in producing the product based on the owned–asset. Through this, ideas emerged for processing raw materials into processed goods that were worth selling, as well as Taddan village which was the target of this community empowerment activity. Taddan village with its own primary asset such bananas and chilies will increase the economic growth of the village through processing the bananas and chilies into economical and selling products. To achieve this goal, the author used the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) method. This method was developed from the owned assets, not from problems. With the ABCD method, the author tried to empower rural communities, especially Taddan village, in processing banana and chili products into worth selling products. The result of this activity is the launching of banana chips and sambal cumi kribo from processed bananas and chilies which are well received, and got many orders from the local community.

Abstract

Creative villages have the concept of favoring one particular product that is mass-produced, ranging from creativity in the fields of mural art, musical, tourism, to being creative in terms of producing products typical of the village. Creative village is one of the ideas to improve the community's economy. Sokobanah Tengah Village is the location for community empowerment activities. The majority of the population has a livelihood as farmers, because this village has a fairly large agricultural land. One of the potentials of Sokobanah Tengah village is onion which will improve the village economy through innovation in processing onion into products with high selling value. To achieve this goal, the author uses the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method. This method was developed from the assets owned by the village. With the ABCD method, the author creates a creative village program from the village's superior assets, namely the innovation of processing onion into products that have high economic value and quality. The result of this activity is to produce Pastel Bawang, Ticwang and Siwang products from processed onion which are well received by the village community, as well as receiving many orders from people within the village and outside the village.

Abstract

Assistance in the production of halal micro business of sale mamba bananas in Sogiyan village in supporting investment in the development of this creative economy is based on natural resources, namely bananas are found in Sogiyan village but are not utilized to make it more economical. The purpose of this assistance is to make village assets more economical and help the village's creative economy. The results of the production assistance for the sale mamba banana halal mikra business in Sogiyan village are 1). The village head and PKK women welcomed and carried out the training with enthusiasm so as to create delicious and contemporary products to be accepted by all circles. 2). There are still obstacles to online marketing through social media carried out by PKK women and the need for a Village Owned Enterprise (BUMDES) in order to advance the typical businesses of Sogian village.

Abstract

Extracurricular Scouts is a forum for fostering the leadership of upper-middle-level students consisting of Scouts. In which there is an Ambalan Council, which is filled with Enforcement Scouts who have been appointed in charge of planning, managing and mobilizing activities in the Ambalan concerned with the guidance of their supervisor. For the Kwarran program to advance the scout organization in the management of the Ambalan, each Ambalan Council must have knowledge, abilities and skills in the management of Ambalan Administration in their respective Bases. Therefore, by applying the administrative skills of the ambalan to the school administrators to prepare the Ambalan Accreditation with the learning by doing method (Learning by Doing) and the team system (Patrol System).

Abstract

The people in Kaduara Timur Pragaan Sumenep Village is a community that has good religious assets, this is evidenced by the existence of several activities carried out by the community such as holding tahlilan, maulidan, shalawatan and so on. This shows that religion in the village is quite good. In addition, the youth of the Al-Falah Mosque also play an active role in inviting other youth to always apply the values of Islamic teachings in individual or social life as an effort to spread Islam. High enthusiasm shown by elementary school children to come to the musholla or mosque to recite the Koran, but there is a lack of deepening of the Qur'an and tahfidz so that during the time waiting for the evening prayer the children only play so this service takes the initiative to carried out reforms and created a program “Increasing the Qur'anic Generation through the Procurement of Tahfidz Studios”. The program received a positive response and full support from the community and the village head to be held in mosques and prayer rooms. This service is carried out as a form of the Tri Dharma of higher education, namely doing community service, being part of meeting the needs of the community, in this case the service is carried out in the religious aspect.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to address marketing problems and improve the skills of home-based entrepreneurs in using technological assistance to market their products. Home-based businesses in Karanganyar Village require technology-based business development to be able to compete with their competitors. Observation and interviews were used to identify the use of social media. The methods used in assisting home-based businesses in digital marketing are in two ways, namely, through workshops and direct practice. An introduction to digital marketing, social media, and e-commerce, content marketing, digital management, digital marketing management, digital marketing FGD (forum group discussion), and evaluation are among the materials provided to assist technology-based business development through digital marketing. The results of this service can be seen from the results of the evaluation of participants, who gave very good responses on the grounds that mentoring activities provide insight, knowledge, and skills in marketing that are beneficial to program participants. Almost all of them want to practice digital marketing in their business. Advice that can be given in creating marketing content is to add attractive captions and hashtags that are easy to follow so that products are easy to find.
