Abstract

Service is one of the tridharma that must be carried out by lecturers. This briefing was given to managers of Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Cracker Pangsit in Baban Village, Gapura District, Sumenep Regency which aims to develop strategies for increasing sales and developing the business so that it continues to grow in the future. . This service activity is carried out using descriptive methods accompanied by information on internal and external factors on competitive advantages in the form of raw materials, legality, machines and tools, work methods / technology, packaging, promotion and marketing. The production activities carried out are relatively simple in terms of marketing. The product is packaged using plastic packaging and does not use a sales logo. The result of this service activity is an increase in sales of Dumpling Cracker products processed by MSMEs in Baban Village, Gapura District, Sumenep Regency

Abstract

The implementation of foreign language learning in Indonesia is an effort for the Indonesian people to be able to absorb and follow the development of science and technology in the world, as well as a way to enter the global society. The people of Banjar Talela Village want introductions to linguistic skills (Arabic and English) for children and the younger generation as an effort to develop human resources so that they can motivate them to move forward and compete in the global world. This form of language learning has been carried out in this village as a form of service to the local community, by carrying out various extra-curricular activities and intra- curricular activities. The internalization of foreign languages is carried out in various ways, including; 1) Be a role model for children and youth in speaking of foreign languages (Arabic and English) in their daily life. 2) Teach vocabularies (English or Arabic) everyday. 3) Teach various linguistic activities according to their talents and interests such as poetry, stories, sermons etc. 4) Simulate how they can use vocabularies (English or Arabic) in their daily life.

Abstract

Speaking of education, the achievement of learning outcomes is absolutely necessary, because learning is not just transferring knowledge to children. More than that, learning should be able to empower students to be able to apply it in everyday life. In this institution, the achievement of language learning outcomes is quite optimal, because in reality students already have a basic language even though they still cannot apply their skills actively. But that does not mean this institution does not have potential, because students of this institution already have a basic language skills even though passively. Foreign language learning at various levels of educational institutions is so vibrant, ranging from education in elementary school to high school, why is that so? Because the learning of either a mother tongue or a foreign language is an obligation in formal education. So it's no wonder we get English lessons that in fact as a foreign language become lessons tested in the Final School Exam. This activity provides an achievement, namely an increase in language skills and the growth of love to learn the language. Students are becoming more familiar with language activities. Activities such as interactive dialogue and language competitions in Class Meeting events, managed to make students more familiar and familiarize themselves with the language. Because there is an increased interest in learning the language between before the empowerment event and after the empowerment event. Students have the motivation to learn a foreign language according to their individual interests. Students practice what they've learned when taking part in a race in a Class Meeting.

Abstract

Obesity (over nutrition) is a very dangerous problem that is increasing every year. This is due to the ignorance of adolescents to maintain a lifestyle with balanced nutrition, and also the factor of a lazy lifestyle (lazy to move) which has recently become increasingly entrenched among adolescents. Especially with the existence of "cellphone" technology that makes humans increasingly suffer from diseases. Obesity is alcohol content of fat due to high cholesterol due to the conflict of incoming energy and outgoing energy. The causes of obesity are partly due to unbalanced fatty foods and lack of exercise. One of the problems in Kapedi village is the problem of obesity, where some people in this village are obese, and in fact it is a problem experienced by many villagers. For this reason, with the momentum of the National Nutrition Health Day, they held Nutrition Health counseling for adolescents. Servants choose teenagers because teenagers are the successor generation who will later become adults, secondly, teenagers are an educated generation whose thoughts are still clean so they need to change their mindset in terms of awareness. Teenagers are also the beginning of adulthood, which is the initial stage of obesity. For this reason, the servant held nutrition counseling which was divided into two stages, namely the first stage was the provision of knowledge about nutritional health, and the second stage was counseling about the dangers of obesity.

Abstract

Aset desa merupakan kekayaan yang dimiliki oleh suatu desa yang perlu dikelola dan dikembangkan dengan baik dan profesional. Tujuannnya adalah untuk meningkatkan perekonomian dan kesejahteraan hidup masyarakat serta mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi kreatif. Namun faktanya, pengelolaan aset desa sering kali belum membuahkan hasil yang maksimal lantaran masih ada kendala-kendala seperti kurangnya dukungan dari pemerintah desa, terbatasnya pengetahuan dan skill dalam mengelola aset desa, dan pemanfaatan aset desa masih menggunakan cara-cara lama. Tulisan ini akan mendeskripsikan tahapan-tahapan dalam pelaksanaan praktik pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan tujuan agar masyarakat desa mampu mengelola segala aset yang dimiliki untuk dikembangkan menjadi produk yang bernilai dan inovatif guna mendukung upaya-upaya pertumbuhan ekonomi kreatif masyarakat. Kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat ini diselenggarakan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) yang dilaksanakan di desa Temoran kecamatan Omben Kabupaten Sampang. Hasil kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat di lokasi ini dilakukan dengan desain yang terstruktur dan sistemik antara kegiatan yang satu dengan kegiatan yang lain. Hasil kegiatan pemberdayaan menunjukkan bahwa praktik pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pengelolaan aset desa dilakukan melalui strategi yang diterjemahkan ke dalam serangkaian tahapan-tahapan di antaranya yakni tahap persiapan, tahap pengkajian, tahap perencanaan, tahap formulasi rencana aksi, tahap implementasi, tahap evaluasi, dan tahap terminasi.Kata kunci: pemberdayaan masyarakat, pengelolaan aset desa, ekonomi kreatif, kedai wisata kampung sukun

Abstract

TThis Community Service activity report regarding Strengthening the Spirit of Learning through Foreign Language Learning at the Al-Muniri Islamic Boarding School was conceptualized with guidance on strengthening foreign languages, namely Arabic and English, which is carried out every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. The background is because the al- Muniri institution was founded under the auspices of the al-Muniri Islamic boarding school, where the students come from santri backgrounds who are not too familiar with foreign languages, especially Arabic itself, but to further improve students' mastery of foreign languages, it is carried out also guidance on strengthening other foreign languages, namely English, because Arabic and English are international languages. This Community Service Activity is carried out using the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method. This method aims to develop the assets owned by the village. Through the ABCD method, the assets developed are community assets, namely Al-Muniri Middle School and High School students. The foreign language strengthening guidance process goes through several stages, namely initial deliberations with the teachers, the general person in charge of Al-Muniri School, and the English teacher.

Abstract

Community entrepreneurship skill   is an effort and strategy in producing the product based on the owned–asset. Through this, ideas emerged for processing raw materials into processed goods that were worth selling, as well as Taddan village which was the target of this community empowerment activity. Taddan village with its own primary asset such bananas and chilies will increase the economic growth of the village through processing the bananas and chilies into economical and selling products. To achieve this goal, the author used the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) method. This method was developed from the owned assets, not from problems. With the ABCD method, the author tried to empower rural communities, especially Taddan village, in processing banana and chili products into worth selling products. The result of this activity is the launching of banana chips and sambal cumi kribo from processed bananas and chilies which are well received, and got many orders from the local community.

Abstract

Mosques at all times must be the construction of the ummah, so that in times of information and reform the mosque must always be able to act as a driver of meeting the spiritual needs of the community. Realizing social services, health and education, fostering children and adolescents, and channeling their talents in the arts and sports, even to the fulfillment of the economic needs of the community. In other words, the mosque must still be able to act as a center for community development and improve Islamic education as the prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has exemplified. Mosque is a place of worship of Muslims, mosque is also very appropriate to be used to increase islamic ukhuwah and as a means to instill islamic education based on religious values. The mosque is also a building that was established as a means to worship Allah Swt. Especially in performing the five times of prayer, other sunnah prayers. But other than that, too. Mosque as a symbol to improve the products of individuals who have good morals and increase knowledge of Islamic treasures. In service to this community. The author uses a community assistance-based approach by using the mosque as a means of increasing religiosity and Islamic ukhuwah. In this study, there are results about the study of Islamic books, the application of prayer together and the procurement of literature books in the mosque area to be read by the surrounding community.

Abstract

Galis Dajah is one of the villages that has problems, especially in the quality of human resources, which are very minimal, including the people of Galis Dajah Village who do not take advantage of the potential that exists in the village, lack of water during the dry season, many people choose to leave the city to improve their economy compared to developing own village, and the declining mindset of students and even parents who think that working is more profitable than continuing their education to a higher level. This is a challenge for the group of real college participants to change the potential of the village with community service programs in the form of guiding children with low IQs and holding bouquet-making training. This program is carried out offline and field practice on the target object. in the program guiding children with low IQ, it is carried out with the method of slow reading repetition, in the bouquet-making training program it is carried out by direct practice methods with the community and students. The purpose of the program is to improve the community's ability and provide motivation for the achievement of quality human resources. The target in this activity is the community around the KKN location consisting of housewives, teenagers and children with low IQs.

Abstract

Reading is one of the receptive processes as way to take the information. Reading becomes difficult when related to the literature which is asked the special skill in reading and interpreting those literature. One of this literature is called kitab kuning. Kitab kuning is one of the islamic literature which is contained of some materials, such as fiqih, hadits and tafsir. This literature also usually written in Arabic with no specific symbols (fathah, dhammah, kasrah or sukun). One of the methods in reading kitab kuning which can be taught is called Al Fatih. Al Fatih method gives an advantage for the readers of kitab kuning because of this method has special portion in learning nahwu sharraf, therefore we have not to learn that comprehensively. Through empowerment program with ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development), is specially hoped could increase community’s knowledge specially student of pesantren as we called santri about reading kitab kuning. There are 3 ways which are conducted in order to develop community’s skill in reading kitab kuning, those are: spread out the method of reading kitab kuning through Al Fatih method to the students/ santri of islamic institution,  conducted ToT or Training of Trainer, the last is designate the tutor in every islamic institution.
