Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Industrial Agglomeration, Unemployment, and Human Development Index on the GRDP of Regencies/Cities in West Java Province in 2017-2021. Research method to determine the relationships between variables using panel data analysis. The data used in this study is secondary data in 27 Regencies/Cities in West Java Province obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistic and Opendata West Java with the help of Eviews 10 Software. This study used multiple linear analysis with the REM (Random Effect Modell. The results of this study show that industrial agglomeration and Human Development Index have a significant positive effect on the Gross Regional Domestic Product of Regencies/Cities in West Java Province, while unemployment has an insignificant positive effect on the Gross Regional Domestic Product of Regencies/Cities in West Java Province.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan metode pembelajaran yang didukung oleh penggunaan media pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiwa pada permasalahan dan solusi fenomena ekonomi makro. Slaha satu bentuk analisis ekonomi makro adalah dengan menggunakan grafis yang berfungsi menjelaskan fenomena, proses terjadinya masalah ekonomi dan mekanisme kerja kebijakan. Melalui pembelajaran ceramah tanpa bantuan penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif yang selama ini masih sering dilakukan, peserta didik menyatakan kurang memahami. Kurangnya pemahaman atas fenomena, proses dan mekanime kebijakan itu terjadi menyebabkan peserta didik tidak dapat mengkritisi kondisi yang terjadi dan tidak dapat berpikir rasional. Keterampilan berpikir kritis diperlukan untuk menganalisis, mengevaluasi dan berperilaku rasional ekonomi. Salah satu metode pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis adalah adalah metode pembelajaran berbasis masalah, yang didukung oleh media animasi dalam menampilkan grafik. Dengan demikian penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan metode pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan bantuan animasi grafis yang mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode penelitian dan pengembangan melalui quasi eksperimen terhadap mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi UPI. Pengembangan metode dan media pembelajaran ini dilakukan dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation). Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa metode pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan bantuan media pembelajaran interaktif dalam bentuk animasi analisis grafis mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran makro ekonomi. Media yang dihasilkan divalidasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the large number of students who obtain learning outcomes under the KKM and low national examination results. This study aims to determine the general picture and determine the effects of moderation in the school environment on the influence of student learning discipline on student learning outcomes. The method used is an explanatory survey by giving questionnaires to students. The population in this study were 1,622 students with Non Probability Sampling techniques using a sample of 732 students. The data analysis technique used is Multiple Regression Analysis (ARM). The results showed that: (1) Student learning discipline had a positive effect on student learning outcomes, (2) The condition of the school environment moderated the effect of student learning discipline on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Inflation and unemployment are macroeconomic problems experienced by many countries in the world where every policymaker in every country wants these two problems to be addressed together. However, Phillips Curve Theory states that there is a reciprocal relationship between inflation and unemployment so that when economic policymakers implement a policy to increase economic income, these two problems actually have a negative relationship between the two in the short term. This study aims to examine the relationship between inflation and unemployment in Indonesia with a sample of the inflation rate and unemployment rate in Indonesia in 2006-2020 in each semester. On the other hand, this research is carried out based on the Phillips Curve Theory which is relevant in different countries but also this theory is irrelevant in different countries thus causing uncertainty of the study. The research method used is an explanatory quantitative method with documentation techniques obtained from the Central Statistics Agency. The data analysis technique in this study used the Pearson Product Moment Correlation Test method, Granger Causality Test, Cointegration Test, and Error Correction Model. The findings in this study state that inflation and unemployment in Indonesia period have a positive causality relationship between the two where the direction of causality is unemployment to inflation in the long term and based on the results of this study, the Phillips Curve Theory does not apply in Indonesia

Abstract

This research is motivated by symptoms or phenomena that occur in the Non-Bank Financial Institution sector. There are many types of non-bank financial institutions circulating in the community, including life insurance companies, social insurance companies, pawnshops, pension funds, finance companies, guarantee companies, infrastructure financing companies and Indonesian export financing institutions that have their respective roles and benefits for Public. Non-bank financial institutions have a very important role for the economy. The strategic role of this institution is as a vehicle that is able to collect and channel public funds effectively and efficiently towards improving people's living standards. This study was conducted to find out how the influence of the development of non-bank financial institutions marked by the growth of non-bank financial institution company assets on the progress and growth of the Indonesian economy as measured by gross domestic product (GDP). The method in this study uses a quantitative descriptive method using panel data. The choice of quantitative descriptive in this study was based on research that wanted to examine and see the degree of relationship between the relationship between Non-Bank Financial Institution Assets and the Economic Growth Rate. The object of this research is Economic Growth, namely GDP as the dependent variable and Non-Bank Financial Institution Assets as the independent variable. The data sources in this study were obtained from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Central Bureau of Statistics in 2010-2019.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the role of the Covid-19 pandemic event in inflation expectations and its volatility through Indonesia's inflation exchange rate. The findings document that inflation expectations and their volatility are positively affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. These results have real activity implications, while close monitoring of inflation expectations could signal inflation expectations are relinquishing risk.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan kausalitas antara pertumbuhan ekonomi dengan indeks Pembangunan Manusia, Ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan dengan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia, Indeks Kedalaman kemiskinan dengan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia,Ketimpangan Distribusi Pendapatan dengan Pertumbuhan ekonomi, Indeks Kedalaman Manusia dengan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, Indeks Kedalaman kemiskinan sengan ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan. Jenis Penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatuf. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang diambil dari beberapa sumber Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah uji kausalitas granger. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan kausalitas antara Pertumbuhan Ekonomi dengan indeks Pembangunan Manusia, Pertumbuhan Ekonomi dengan ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan, Pertumbuhan ekonomi dengan Indeks Kedalaman Kemiskinan. Terdapat hubungan kausalitas dua arah antara ketimpangan distribusi Pendapatan dengan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia. Terdapat hubungan kausalitas satu arah antara variabel Indeks Kedalaman Kemiskinan dengan Indeks Pembangunan Manusia yaitu Indeks Pembangunan Manusia mempengaruhi Indeks Kedalaman Kemiskinan Serta terdapat hubungan kausalitas satu arah antara ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan dengan Indeks Kedalaman Kemiskinan yaitu Indeks Kedalaman Kemiskinan mempengaruhi Ketimpangan distribusi Pendapatan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini tentang pengaruh penggunaan media PowerPoint dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada mata pelajaran ekonomi antara siswa kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media PowerPoint dengan siswa kontrol yang tidak menggunakan media PowerPoint. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen), dengan subyek terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas XI IPS 2 (kelas kontrol) dan XI IPS 5 (kelas eksperimen) yang terdiri dari 36 siswa pada setiap kelasnya. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji-t dua sampel tidak berhubungan atau uji t sampel bebas (independent sample t test) menggunakan SPSS 17.0 dan Microsoft Office Excel 2007. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa antara kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media PowerPoint dengan kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan media PowerPoint. Hasil tingkat pemahaman konsep pada kelas eksperimen setelah penggunaan media PowerPoint lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Sehingga penggunaan media PowerPoint dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar dinyatakan efektif dan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa.

Abstract

The development of the monetary sector is one way to increase the rate of economic growth. This study aims to analyze the impact of monetary variables on Indonesia's economic growth before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses secondary data in the form of time series data from free money supply, interest rates, inflation, exchange rates, and Indonesia's economic growth before the pandemic, namely from 2000 - 2019 (y-to-y) and during the pandemic, namely in 2020. (q-to-q) obtained from data published by Bank Indonesia in the form of Monetary Economic Statistics, Monetary Policy Reports, Indonesian Economic Reports, and the Central Statistics Agency. From the results of the research conducted, it was found that the inflation rate and interest rates in Indonesia have a positive effect on economic growth, while the money supply with exchange rates does not have a positive effect on economic growth in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research is motivated by student learning outcomes that have not been optimal, as indicated by the average GPA of FPEB UPI students has not reached the target stated in the 2016-2020 UPI Strategic Plan. This study aims to see the effect of metacognitive awareness on learning outcomes. In addition, this study also examines the direct influence of the two domains contained in metacognitive awareness, namely metacognitive knowledge (knowledge of cognition) and metacognitive control (regulation of cognition) on learning outcomes. The population in this study were all students of FPEB UPI class 2017, 2018, and 2019 with a sample of 329 students. The method used in this study is an explanatory survey with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results showed that metacognitive awareness had a positive effect on learning outcomes. In addition, it was also found that two domains in metacognitive awareness, namely metacognitive knowledge (knowledge of cognition) and metacognitive control (regulation of cognition) had a positive effect on improving learning outcomes.
