INTERNAL (Information System Journal) is a scientific journal published by the Information Systems Study Program, Masoem University. INTERNAL is published twice a year, namely in June and December. This journal has been accredited by SINTA 4. In 2021, INTERNAL (Information System Journal) will be merged and recorded in the Masoem University journal. In addition, DOI Prefix 10.32627 which was originally used by STKOM Al Masoem was later changed by the DOI is affiliation to become Masoem University. The journal at STKOM Al Masoem has changed its form to a journal at Masoem University.

Abstract

Recording student attendance  during lectures with an online system [on the network] is very necessary to assist both lecturers and the academic department in recording each student's attendance. Therefore the author will make an approach method based on face detection [face recognition] with the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm or often called the K-NN algorithm, which is a supervised learning algorithm where the results of the new instance are classified based on the majority of the k-nearest neighbors. . The purpose of this algorithm is to classify new objects based on attributes and samples of student attendance/attendance. The k-Nearest Neighbor algorithm uses the Neighborhood Classification which will be used as the predictive value of the new instance so that it will get a value that will approximate the student's facial resemblance.

Abstract

The importance of providing accurate and real-time information is indispensable in today's era of rapid development of information technology. Along with technological developments, the condition of the Coronnavirus Disease 19 (Covid-19) pandemic is now a task to assist the government in reducing the chance of the spread of Covid-19, where this information technology is used as a means of supporting minimizing the chance of the spread of Covid-19. This study aims to assist the government and those who are authorized in Indonesia in society who violate the New Normal (AKB) and Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) regulations by utilizing information systems. The information system in question is an information technology-based information system that records and facilitates data processing of community actions during the PSBB and AKB by the government. The data method used in this research is observation, interview, and documentation. The system design method used is the Extreme Programming system design method. The results of this study are in the form of analysis and design of an Android-based Geographical Information System of New Normal and Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) using the Extreme Programming method.

Abstract

Data integration is a combination of techniques and businesses that are used to collect data from different sources into useful and valuable information ETL process that includes extracting data from various data sources, transforming data to form and calculate data and load data on target storage, to support data warehouse need. Based on organizations and industries that have implemented data warehouse, the problem that generally arises regarding data load is the difficulty in integrating different data sources, how to form data from various data formats into uniform data, how to integrate data delta between data sources and target storage in an incremental load process so that this data synchronization process can be carried out continuously and relatively faster. ETL process requires a platform that can facilitate data integration needs, in order to run this process. SSIS (SQL Server Integration Service) is a Data Integration platform to build an enterprise-level data integration and solutions for data transformation. Integration Service can extract and change data (transform) from various sources such as XML data files, flat files, APIs, and relational data sources, and then load into one or several destination data. According to the problem related to data load, we will examine how the solution model uses SSIS for the ETL process. This paper proposed an ETL Architecture model by completing the ETL process for full & incremental load extraction and the original data layer.

Abstract

Kedai Mandiri is a restaurant on Jalan Gatot Subroto No.40 Malabar Bandung, West Java which serves food and beverage culinary sales, Kedai Mandiri still uses the medium of delivering information on simple food and beverage menu data and services where the system runs on restaurants that are still semi-computerized. So that the sales of food and beverage products and services are still not optimal. In terms of the problems faced, then how do you apply Electronic Customer Relationship Management to Kedai Mandiri sales that can explain the fabric in detail so that the product menu and services received can be immediately responded to by customers so that they can access the required information data anytime and anywhere, related one to respond to this by creating a website-based sales E-CRM application at Kedai Mandiri using a prototype method approach that develops it by demonstrating the concept, design experiments and look for various problems and solutions to resolve misunderstandings between customers and developers in stages. This application can be expected to help the problems experienced by the Kedai Mandiri restaurant, and the system can be further developed using a mobile application.

Abstract

PT. Yella Perdana is a retail company engaged in providing computer products in the form of hardware, software, accessories, notebooks, printers in West Java. To be able to face competition in the business world and place the company in a superior position from competitors, an IS/IT strategy is needed. In its implementation, the use of information systems must be supported by a good and appropriate strategic planning of information systems, so that the goals and objectives expected by the company can achieve optimal results.The right IS/IT strategic planning at PT. Yella Perdana is expected to produce a competitive advantage in accordance with the company's resources to support the achievement of company goals.The preparation of IS/IT strategic planning in this study used the Ward and Peppard approach. Assisted by several analytical methods to analyze the company's internal and external business environment such as PEST, SWOT, Porter's Five Force, Value chain, and CSF. This IS/IT strategic planning produces a recommendation for a computer-based application portfolio that can be implemented in accordance with the company's strategy to create an advantage over competitors based on the required information system.

Abstract

The importance of the academic service administration system in supporting the academic service process and data management, makes it a vital system that must be avoided from risks that can hinder and affect technology-based systems. Data processing and academic services in Higher Education must be carried out optimally and integrated, because it is very necessary to realize quality services. To minimize the impact of risk, the authors make policies regarding risk management including managing risk profiles. To find out the achievement of information technology risk management implementation, the authors evaluate using the COBIT 5 framework in the APO12 (Manage Risk) process domain. Based on the results of the evaluation of the data obtained through the distribution of questionnaires, interviews and observations, it was found that the capability level and APO12 domain values ??were at level 1. thus resulting in a gap of 2 levels. The process of evaluating the application of information technology risk management in the system using the COBIT 5 framework, especially the APO12 (Manage Risk) process domain, obtained a level 2 capability level, namely performed process, which means that every process implemented has achieved the specified goals.

Abstract

Evaluation of lecturer performance is currently still done manually by three parts, namely assessment of learning performance by study programs, assessment of research and community service by LPPM, and overall assessment by the rector. Because it doesn't use a database, data from one section cannot be accessed by other sections, so each section must repeat the same transaction, besides that lecturers must make copies of documents to be submitted to each section that requires it, this is considered inefficient. For this reason, it is necessary to make a lecturer performance information system so that the lecturer's performance appraisal activity becomes more effective. Another benefit of a computerized system is that it can minimize subjectivity in the assessment process, the assessment becomes transparent and lecturers can monitor the results of their performance whenever needed. The method used in developing this system is the User Experience Design Process method, which includes product devintion, research, analysis, design, implementation. Data was collected by observation, interviews, and literature study. The system modeling uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML). the tools used are use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams and class diagrams. The implementation uses the PHP and HTML programming languages ??and MySQL as the database. The results of this study can integrate data on the performance assessment process of lecturers from different departments, the information generated from each process and its supporting documents can be accessed by all privately related departments, and the subjectivity of the assessment team can be minimized.

Abstract

Along with the construction of infrastructure in the form of toll roads and the International Airport in Majalengka, various products produced by SMEs in Majalengka must be immediately known by the market. Therefore, an application was made android-based QR code scanner application has been developed as a tool to identify original products from Majalengka. This research aims to help introduce UKM products and provide information about the identity of UKM products to the market quickly, practically and sustainably. The method used consists of collecting data and developing a system based on RUP (Rational Unified Process) with UML (Unified Modeling Language) as a development tool. This research resulted in a scanner application called 'Majalengka Product Index' which can be installed and operated directly by the market via Android devices. The result of scanning the QR code is in the form of an image display and a description of the product you want to know. The results of the application usability test survey from 65 respondents, obtained a total final score of 197.17 and included in the score range 155.51 - 203.75 with the "Very Useful" category.

Abstract

E-CRM is customer management in electronic-based companies, dealing with complex management, attracting customers, and business partners through various media, including online and offline media, personal contacts, and other electronic communication media. E-CRM enables companies to better understand customer behavior and forecast customer needs through online activities, and can increase profitability. At PT. Suwanda Karya Mandiri has a problem with how to keep customers using the services of a technical consultant. Therefore, the initiative was taken to make it easier for customers who want to be interested in technical efforts and resources in an effort to keep customers using the services of technical consultants. To compete with competitors, the company implements E-CRM strategy to be able to establish good relationships and maintain customer satisfaction. In this study, the method used is the Prototype Method. The software used to develop E-CRM at PT. Suwanda Karya Mandiri uses Odoo software. Odoo software is software for business management. Based on the results of the test, it can be ascertained that using Odoo software and E-CRM can facilitate transactions between customers. This system can be further developed by implementing other modules such as Sales, Point of Sale, and Invoicing which can better assist PT. Suwanda Karya Mandiri.
