INTERNAL (Information System Journal) is a scientific journal published by the Information Systems Study Program, Masoem University. This journal is a forum for publication of scientific papers in the form of writings by academics, researchers and practitioners on pure and applied research in the fields of information systems, informatics engineering and computer engineering. INTERNAL is published twice a year, namely in June and December. This journal has been accredited by SINTA 4. In 2021, INTERNAL (Information System Journal) will be merged and recorded in the Masoem University journal. In addition, DOI Prefix 10.32627 which was originally used by STKOM Al Masoem was later changed by the DOI is affiliation to become Masoem University. The journal at STKOM Al Masoem has changed its form to a journal at Masoem University.

Abstract

Recording student attendance  during lectures with an online system [on the network] is very necessary to assist both lecturers and the academic department in recording each student's attendance. Therefore the author will make an approach method based on face detection [face recognition] with the K-Nearest Neighbor algorithm or often called the K-NN algorithm, which is a supervised learning algorithm where the results of the new instance are classified based on the majority of the k-nearest neighbors. . The purpose of this algorithm is to classify new objects based on attributes and samples of student attendance/attendance. The k-Nearest Neighbor algorithm uses the Neighborhood Classification which will be used as the predictive value of the new instance so that it will get a value that will approximate the student's facial resemblance.

Abstract

The importance of providing accurate and real-time information is indispensable in today's era of rapid development of information technology. Along with technological developments, the condition of the Coronnavirus Disease 19 (Covid-19) pandemic is now a task to assist the government in reducing the chance of the spread of Covid-19, where this information technology is used as a means of supporting minimizing the chance of the spread of Covid-19. This study aims to assist the government and those who are authorized in Indonesia in society who violate the New Normal (AKB) and Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) regulations by utilizing information systems. The information system in question is an information technology-based information system that records and facilitates data processing of community actions during the PSBB and AKB by the government. The data method used in this research is observation, interview, and documentation. The system design method used is the Extreme Programming system design method. The results of this study are in the form of analysis and design of an Android-based Geographical Information System of New Normal and Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) using the Extreme Programming method.

Abstract

Data integration is a combination of techniques and businesses that are used to collect data from different sources into useful and valuable information ETL process that includes extracting data from various data sources, transforming data to form and calculate data and load data on target storage, to support data warehouse need. Based on organizations and industries that have implemented data warehouse, the problem that generally arises regarding data load is the difficulty in integrating different data sources, how to form data from various data formats into uniform data, how to integrate data delta between data sources and target storage in an incremental load process so that this data synchronization process can be carried out continuously and relatively faster. ETL process requires a platform that can facilitate data integration needs, in order to run this process. SSIS (SQL Server Integration Service) is a Data Integration platform to build an enterprise-level data integration and solutions for data transformation. Integration Service can extract and change data (transform) from various sources such as XML data files, flat files, APIs, and relational data sources, and then load into one or several destination data. According to the problem related to data load, we will examine how the solution model uses SSIS for the ETL process. This paper proposed an ETL Architecture model by completing the ETL process for full & incremental load extraction and the original data layer.

Abstract

Kedai Mandiri is a restaurant on Jalan Gatot Subroto No.40 Malabar Bandung, West Java which serves food and beverage culinary sales, Kedai Mandiri still uses the medium of delivering information on simple food and beverage menu data and services where the system runs on restaurants that are still semi-computerized. So that the sales of food and beverage products and services are still not optimal. In terms of the problems faced, then how do you apply Electronic Customer Relationship Management to Kedai Mandiri sales that can explain the fabric in detail so that the product menu and services received can be immediately responded to by customers so that they can access the required information data anytime and anywhere, related one to respond to this by creating a website-based sales E-CRM application at Kedai Mandiri using a prototype method approach that develops it by demonstrating the concept, design experiments and look for various problems and solutions to resolve misunderstandings between customers and developers in stages. This application can be expected to help the problems experienced by the Kedai Mandiri restaurant, and the system can be further developed using a mobile application.

Abstract

This study discusses the proposed information system design for the Mosque Prosperity Council. This SI is expected to facilitate every management, such as recording asset information, cash management information, and religious activities. The purpose of this research is in addition to reducing the control of the mosque organization as well as to facilitate the delivery of information to the local community because this system is designed how the data can be accessed anywhere and anytime without time limits and to support this, one of them is by integrating it on a website. The method used in this research is to use the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to develop a software system, which consists of several stages, including planning, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and management, that form a workflow for planning and controlling. Information Systems. The result of this research is the application of the SI website, which helps facilitate the management of the Mosque Prosperity Council and increasing the ease with which the public can receive all this information.

Along with the development of Information Technology in various fields, one of which is Education can be seen from various existing systems, one of which is the Student Registration System which is increasingly advanced, no longer manually but using an Information System, of course this information system is not only used as a registration information system. of course there are data that can still be processed. Based on the data obtained from the information system, higher education institutions can analyze registrant data. Abstract

Salah satu syarat bagi seorang mahasiswa untuk memperoleh gelar akademik adalah dengan membuat karya tulis ilmiah yaitu skripsi / tugas akhir. Dalam pembuatan skripsi mahasiswa dibimbing oleh dosen pembimbing yang akan mengarahkan mahasiswa dalam menulis skripsi, sehingga menghasilkan karya ilmiah yang baik. Penetapan dosen pembimbing yang dilakukan secara manual oleh ketua program studi dan sekretaris program studi terkadang menghasilkan dosen pembimbing yang tidak sesuai dengan bidang keahlian dosen. Untuk membantu tugas Ketua Program Studi dan Sekretaris Program Studi, diusulkan sistem yang lebih baik untuk mengefisiensikan pekerjaan. Pada penelitian sebelumnya telah diusulkan suatu rancangan sistem dengan menggunakan algoritma Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). Metode SAW bekerja dengan mencari penjumlahan terbobot dari peringkat kinerja untuk setiap alternatif pada semua atribut. Pada penelitian tahun kedua ini dibangun sebuah aplikasi untuk mengimplementasikan hasil perancangan berupa prototipe sistem. Dari hasil implementasi dan pengujian yang dilakukan, aplikasi ini dapat memproses penentuan skripsi / tugas akhir mahasiswa dengan lebih cepat sesuai dengan keahlian dosen pembimbing dengan tema skripsi / tugas akhir mahasiswa.

Abstract

Health is very important for all human beings, especially in Indonesia, because human health can do activities properly and have high performance for both work and other social life. The task of predicting the future values of a time series is a problem that applications have in areas such as sales, engineering, epidemiology, etc. Much research effort has been made in the development of predictive models and performance improvement. The level of public health in Indonesia from 1995 to 2018 varied with the percentage of the population who experienced health complaints. The purpose of this study is to predict the future health of the Indonesian public so that it can be used as a tool to determine government policies in the health sector. The method used in predicting is the Recurent Neural Network (RNN) with secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in the form of data sets, and dividing the data sets into training data and test data. Before the data is used as training data, we clean and tidy up the data first so that when it is implemented there are no errors either during training or testing. The results showed that at the beginning of the method RNN, the prediction results were far from the data, after an interval of 7 and above the predicted results were actually the same. Based on Figures 5 and 6, it can be said that the RNN method is very good for the prediction method.

Abstract

Datacenters have become a necessity for institutions that require reliable and high-power internal computing services. Datacenter construction allows users unlimited access to infrastructure, applications, and other IT resources as well, Software Defined Network (SDN) allows network operators and administrators to adjust resources and bandwidth as needed, providing a datacenter with increased efficiency, flexibility, and durability. Edge Datacenter, in general, can be said to be a datacenter with minimal facilities that can expand its network access to provide cloud computing resources, and serve cached content to local end-users,because the Edge Datacenter implements edge-caching. So that to increase the flexibility and scalability of the datacenter with some problems related to location and space that is really limited, the application of SDN and Edge Computing are alternatives that need to be considered.

Abstract

The Information System for Raw Material Procurement at PT.Derma International is still not well computerized which causes data inconsistencies on raw materials and this also slows down the process of data collection of Raw Materials. The design of this Raw Material Procurement Information System uses a design tool in the form of a System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The diagrams used include: Data Flow Diagrams, Structural Charts, Flow Maps, and E-R Diagrams. The development of this application uses Visual Studio 2010 which is desktop-based and MySQL as a database with a good security level and supports flexible transactionals. After going through several stages of analysis and design, the Raw Material Procurement Information System is expected to provide convenience in data collection and reporting, minimize data errors and provide smooth production processes for the company
