INTERNAL (Information System Journal) is a scientific journal published by the Information Systems Study Program, Masoem University. This journal is a forum for publication of scientific papers in the form of writings by academics, researchers and practitioners on pure and applied research in the fields of information systems, informatics engineering and computer engineering. INTERNAL is published twice a year, namely in June and December. This journal has been accredited by SINTA 4. In 2021, INTERNAL (Information System Journal) will be merged and recorded in the Masoem University journal. In addition, DOI Prefix 10.32627 which was originally used by STKOM Al Masoem was later changed by the DOI is affiliation to become Masoem University. The journal at STKOM Al Masoem has changed its form to a journal at Masoem University.

Abstract

Ma’soem University is a formal educational institution that has implemented an offline and online learning system. This study aims to assess the effectiveness of the two learning systems globally and determine which learning system is more suitable to be applied to students and propose improvements to the learning system that is considered less effective. The research method used is a survey in which respondents are asked eight questions related to both learning systems, the technique of analysis and data processing is done by using descriptive statistics, meanwhile the proposed system improvement is visualized using use case diagrams and sequence diagrams. Based on the research results, the respondents stated that the offline learning system was considered more effective with a percentage of 64,99%, compared to online learning system with a percentage of 31,52%, so it is proposed to improve the online learning system by building an e-learning system.

Abstract

SMP NEGERI 6 Cirebon City is a school that has an A accreditation score and gets the title as a National Standard School. However, there are still problems including when the exam is still visible cheating, the lack of types of questions and seating positions that allow students to work together, the values ??obtained from each lesson are still manually inputted from each class by each eye teacher. lessons, and there are teachers who feel tired to count and match the answers for each subject being tested. The method used is the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), using the earliest SDLC approach used for software development, namely WaterFall. The results of the study indicate that this online-based exam system can help improve the effectiveness of online exams at SMP Negeri 6 Cirebon City for the better.

Abstract

Currently Al-Musyawirin Vocational School is implementing the web e-learning method by utilizing internet technology to attract students' interest in learning. However, the lack of student understanding in learning to use web e-learning and the unattractive e-learning design causes obstacles to online learning. Therefore, it is necessary to design an e-learning web learning system using HCI (Human Computer Interaction) so that it can be more optimal and not boring. The research method used for this research is the survey method from SUS consisting of 10 questions, each of which has 5 points with a Likert scale as a response. The results of this study obtained an SUS score of 77, which was obtained by the teacher and a score of 68.9 which was obtained by students at SMK Al-Musyawirin. On the Grade Scale, the two SUS scores can be seen to be in Grade C (okay) which indicates the score is classified as normal, neither above nor below the average.

Abstract

City guide is very important for tourists and nomads in cities that are a source of tourist destinations as well as a source of destination for immigrants both for education or for work, one of which is the city of Cirebon. Based on data collected from the Cirebon City Culture and Tourism Office, in 2019 there were 987,588 tourist visits in Cirebon City. The problem that occurs is that many of the immigrants or tourists are not informed about the places in the city of Cirebon. In this research, a tourist guide geographic information system will be made regarding the information and location of places in the city of Cirebon which can be accessed through their android devices. The method used in the development of this system is the waterfall method. The waterfall method was chosen because in the development process it has a clear work sequence and is also easy to manage because of the simple model. The stages of system development in the waterfall method are Requirements Analysis, System Design, Implementation, Testing and Maintenance. The design of the city guide information system was built using the Java programming language using the Android Studio Integrated Development Environment (IDE), SQL database, and using the Google Maps API feature. The result is an android-based city guide application that contains information and location of places in the city of Cirebon such as tourist attractions, hotels, shopping centers, health services and others. This system will make it easier for tourists because there are recommendations about destinations that can be visited while in the city of Cirebon. It is hoped that the system created can become an information that can support and facilitate the activities of immigrants or tourists while in the city of Cirebon.

Abstract

Parents need information about children's activities and learning outcomes in school. Academic information system is one way that information about the results of learning activities can be delivered more easily and quickly by the school and can be well received by parents as guardians of students. Therefore, an academic information system is designed that is able to provide information about student learning outcomes and activities so that parents can still supervise learning activities in schools. The system is expected to be able to be a material for evaluating children on the results of their learning in school so that children are able to become outstanding students. The purpose of this study is so that parents can find out the results of children's learning, namely grades and other learning activities in school. This research uses a qualitative approach where data collection is obtained from interviews, observations, and documentation. In addition, this system is designed using the waterfall method with stages of analysis, design or design, implementation, verification, and maintenance. The result of the research is the application of a web-based academic information system capable of being a means of parental supervision of the results of children's learning activities so that it has an impact on increasing student achievement.

Abstract

Information about an Organination or a Student Activity Unit is very important to inform the activities carried out by an organization or Student Activity Unit, such as the Futsal STMIK IKMI Cirebon Student Activity Unit. The process of managing the administration of members who are still manual, providing information that has not been  and the absence of archives of the activities that have been carried out make the Futsal Student Activity Unit at STMIK IKMI Cirebon unable to recap activities. This is a factor in the futsal student activity unit's problems in member data and activity archives. This research will create a system that can accommodate existing problems. This research uses the waterfall method to develop the system. The system created will later use the website as a medium. This research method was chosen because it is a simple process and also easy to apply. The stages in this waterfall method include Needs Analysis, System Design, Workmanship, Verification, and Maintenance. The system created will improve student services and make it easier for futsal student activity unit administrators to convey information and make it easier for members to obtain information.

Abstract

Increasing technological developments can be utilized properly through various systems. However, some managers and prospective tenants of boarding house rental businesses will still have difficulty in having an integrated system. Many of them still make reservations for boarding houses directly at the location where the boarding house is located and there is limited information about the types and facilities of the rooms available. Elin Kost is one of the many boarding houses in Garut Regency that have not used the internet as a transaction medium in it. In making room reservation transactions, payments are made manually without using the internet, making it difficult for boarding house residents to view payment transaction history. The information system development method used is the waterfall method, namely needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing & testing, and uses SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats) to find the source of the problem. Data collection methods are observation and literature study. The results showed that the application of a payment  information system was able to help increase Elin Kost sales because it facilitated the payment process. In addition, there is a need for development in the system so that it can provide more satisfying services to users.

Abstract

Employee attendance very influential on work productivity in achieving company goals, especially in government agencies related to community services as an indicator in employee performance appraisal. The attendance process at the Nagreg Village office as one of the government agencies is still done manually so that data collection on attendance hours, outgoing hours, recapitulation of employee attendance requires a relatively long time in the calculation and search process. An attendance information system is needed to overcome these problems. Attendance Information System in this study was built using the waterfall method which consists of the stages of analysis, design, coding, and testing. UML (Unified Model Language) is also used as a modeling tool in the analysis and system design stages

Abstract

Information technology provides benefits for human life. Utilization of technology in the service sector is needed because it can provide optimal service to clients. Meanwhile, currently the outpatient data processing at the Cikijing Rancaekek Clinic is still manual, causing several obstacles, namely difficulty in finding patient data because they are still looking through medical record cards, difficulty in making reports quickly and accurately and difficulty in calculating treatment costs.The purpose of this study is to make it easier to find patient data, make reports quickly, and make the calculation of patient treatment costs more effective. The method used is SDLC with a waterfall model and data collection techniques. System analysis and design tools used for this final project are Flow Map, Data Flow Diagram (DFD), Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD), Data Dictionary (Data Dictionary), and Structure Chart. For program implementation using Microsoft Visual Foxpro9.0 programming language. In this system, it is concluded to overcome the problems that have occurred in the old system, so that it can assist in the process of searching for patient data, making reports and calculating treatment costs.
